This is a Barbershop. If you are extra fancy and need someone to build up your ego… or cater to your ocd…. Or want a 3 hour salon “experience “ … remember this is a barbershop. If you want a good cut at a good value this is a solid option. Dont go to a burger place and order sushi.

If you are looking for an old-school, no-nonsense barbershop full of Barbers who are masters with the shears, clippers and shaving blade - then Stormy’s is your spot. I have had my hair (and unwieldy eyebrows) tamed numerous times and highly recommend to any person who is looking for a real barbershop (striped, spinning barber pole included) at a very fair price.

Never trust a barber without any line! This place had the perfect balance as I didnt wait too long but I wasnt the only one waiting for a great cut. My barber asked all the right questions right off the bat. She made sure she knew what I wanted and how I wore my hair before doing anything. I found my go-to barber shop.

Absolutely stelllar barbershop. Everyone there is knowledgeable of the diffferent cuts that you might like and can give you most any trim youd like; given you commmunicate it to them. Ive never had a bad cut from Stormys, and their prices are reasonable, tooo. If youre loooking for a solid cut at a reasonable price thats local, Stormys is the place to go.

My boyfriend grew up in the area and has always loved their great cuts and prices and, of course, their atmosphere. Its always a treat to come. Our last trip, we arrived just after they were closing up and Jerry offered to cut his hair. Since my boyfriend is recently disabled and it can be tough mobility wise at times, the gesture absolutely blew us away. The staff is all down to Earth and awesome and they are just a staple here. Thanks guys!

I go every 3 months approximately. They always remember me and how many grandkids I have. And the haircuts and beard trims are perfect.

This is a good choice for a local barbershop along the Artesia Corridor. Tons of parking in the back. The service varies based on who is working, there is a young woman working there on weekends currently (06/24/18) that is a very good barber. Inexpensive by todays standards. I like to support these small businesses along Artesia Boulevard.

Storys is fine if youre looking for a basic cut. Depending on who you get, your experience will different. Im a fan of Sway and Jay, both of who have given me what I asked for and took their time. However, everyone is professional and personable and will get you in and out fairly quickly.

Never had someone I referred to as my barber, but now I do. Ive been going to Sway at Stormys for close to a year now and he is amazing. He is professional and very talented. Lately Ive been taking my son (11 years old) to him too and hes great with kids.

My husband and son went for a hair cut and my husband came back with a nice cut from the owner but my sons haircut was horrible. My husband told me that he repeatedly said zero fade but my poor sons hair was totally jacked. Initially I took my son back pissed off. The owner knew why we were there and another barber with spider web tats on his forehead took my son and did an amazing job. My son left with the best fade ever. The fix was free and I even tipped the barber. years of looking now have a favorite barber for my son.

I have lived in the area since 1987 and have always seen this place around, and went once a long time ago and was not that impressed. This time I went as it is walking distance and Im looking for a new place and thought what the hey. I walk in and three guys where getting their haircut, one get. I was greeted well and told it would be just a minute. Sway was my guy and he did a great job, not uncomfortable talk but just nice chatter while he did a great job. By the way he used a straight razor on the back of my neck I cant wait to go back for a old time shave, even at $30.The place is a little hard to see, but worth a walk in. Old school style with a great group of peeps.

Walked in for the first time. Sway was personable and accommodating. What I asked for I got. I am very fussy about my haircut and he delivered first time around.

Super rude, walked in to get a hair cut at 1250, and said we are closed for lunch! A sign, or maybe actually close the door to indicate anything. Guess their arrogance is bigger than there need for money. Manhattan Beach Barber here I come!!

The dude didnt care at all. The back of my head is have trimmed half not. I asked for a beard trim and had to ask him 4 times to correct mistakes like trimming my mustache from the side and leaving the middle made me look like Hitler. Honestly the worst barber shop Ive ever been to.

I received one of the worst haircuts of my life today. The haircut I received was not what I requested. My only option now is to buzz my head. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had the privileged to meet SWAY the master barber and YES, that is his name. Awesome guy, awesome place, awesome service....everything is awesome...

I went there times, tried two different dudes who did what they wanted instead of what I asked. $22 + TIP to get a haircut you didnt want.

This place is my favorite. Friendly staff, decent price but most of all awesome talent. I moved here from northern California about a year ago where I had my classic barber and needed a new guy to lower my ears. I tried Floyds and I hate to say it but they remind me of super cuts with flashier trendy branding. No offense to anyone who works there but my hair came out like super cuts.Any way, I kept looking and found stormys. I havent looked since then. However I am now leaving my allegiance to stormys because theyre opening one up next to my house in hermosa beach called Hermosa barbershop and I can walk to it.Sway is the man of stormys and does a brilliant job... but the girl... who you might be skeptical of... with tattoos everywhere face and all is who I go to. Her name is Liz and she does my hair exactly how I want it. Shes moving to hermosa barbershop and so am I.Check stormys out if you want a great cut and great people. the barber is supposed to be an experience not a chore. They bring the art back to barbershops.
