Del Mar is a great place to live! We said almost daily for the first few months of living here how happy we were that we decided on our current apartment. Our unit is roomy with smart upgrades that make it comfortable and homey. We not only love our location in the apartment community with a beautiful view of the mountains but also our location in the city with easy and close access to shopping, grocery, freeways, etc. The staff made move in and getting settled very easy as they are friendly and responsive. We would wholeheartedly recommend the community to anyone looking for a home in Rancho Cucamonga.

Del Mar is a great place to live, Tish, Caseie, And the rest of the office crew are great, Lenny and Anthony his maintenance crew are wonderful...One thing to remember is that when you give your 30 day notice, make sure you return your keys exactly in 30 days, not early because the rest of the 30 days will come out of your deposit if you turn in your keys early....One might think 🤔 because you turned in your keys early that you would get prorated and get funds back, but you dont! lesson learned 😉Would we rent there again 🤔 of Course we would, we loved it there.. 😊

Living here for 2yrs, what started out as a good experience, sadly quickly turn to the worst experience ever. Basically every tenant here is allowed to do whatever they want, Del Mar is not able to do anything about any situation. Supposedly there are rules, not being enforced and no one follows. Unsafe area to live in.

My family and I lived there for about two years.they towed away both my cars and charged me for a full carpet replacement when there was only a few stains on the living room . So they said I had to pay 500 plus they kept most of my deposit.

Kitchen cabinets have been peeling since day one, been over 2 years and they haven’t been replaced. Ants and spiders coming out of walls and faucets, they only spray outside. Never find parking near my apartment.

Not work from home friendly. Lots of maintenance issues, scheduled work directly from management. It is really tough for me to work from home, when at least once a month I have maintenance in my apartment for more than 1 hour at a time.When talking with the community manager about this, they were pretty clear that they were going to do what they wanted.Personally, I will be looking into how to break my lease and leave this apartment. That or I need to find a job that doesnt ask me to work from home.

Definitely a place you wont be embarrassed to call home, but for the amount of rent youll pay, your gonna expect more in the areas of amenities and customer service. It has surely piqued my interest, as to why it seems that all the staff that would scores a 9 or 10 in the area of customer service seems to leave or get moved to another property.

This has honestly been one of the best places I have lived.The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and any service requests made are fast and often completed within 1-2 days. I have lived here a little over 2 months and have no complaints.When I moved in, they made sure all my concerns were addressed, ensured the apartment and garage were clean and if I had any concerns or repair requests, they made sure it was all done prior to me signing the lease. Its safe, property grounds are well maintained and the best part is the location is ideal.I looked at 8 different apartment complex in the general area, since I love the location, and found Del Mar to be the best value for money.

Worst place to live I live here and have got my car towed twice having to pay almost 600$ do not live here

There is a reason they gated the community and all Lewis maintenance is mediocre 😂😂😂

Del Mar Apartments are a great place to live. Every month they are doing something different different for us customers.I have lived here for three years and staff has always been friendly and helpful.Love the location of Del Mar Apartments near the 210, 15, & 10, freeway. Close to shopping at Victoria Gardens, Bass Pro Shop, and Ontario Mills. Also you can walk to Terra Vista Shopping Center,Del Mar Apartments is also in a great school district from elementary to high school school.Del Mar is also managed by Lewis Apartment Communities, which makes it nice when you want to move to a different part of the state. The employees here at Del Mar Apartments real make you feel like you are at home!

These are great apartments! They are very spacious, clean and upgraded. The staff is great and the maintenance is the best Ive ever experienced in apartment living. They are in a prime location, close to numerous parks and all the great shopping/restaurants in the area. Compared to other apartments in the area I definitely think you get the best deal at Del Mar.My only complaint is that you can hear everything in these apartments. The walls seem to be very thin.

Management/Staff are very incompetent, rude to their tenants, and cant answer simple questions. Its as if they will try to make every contact with them as difficult as possible whether it be about the mail, QoL, rent, or anything really.Parking is atrocious, theres roaches, and there is an apparent lack of any security whatsoever. Theres a break-in every week or so. Avoid.

This community offers many great amenities! The location is next to great shopping, schools, and beautiful parks. I have enjoyed my experience so far and cannot express how helpful and accommodating the staff is. The actual layouts of the apartments as well as newly upgraded look makes you feel at home though living luxurious. highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, beautiful, and spacious place to live!

This gated community offers great service provided by the leasing office and maintenance. I always enjoy all the activities the complex has to offer, from wine tasting the adults to pictures and breakfast with the Easter Bunny for the kids. Our family has lived here for 3 years now and am very pleased with the size and newly remodeled apartments they have. I love how there is a fireplace, it makes you feel like this is home. Thank you to the staff for making our experience here at Del Mar a fantastic one!!

Great experienced. I lived here for almost two years. I enjoy the convenience of 24 hour gym, clean pool area, nice neighbors, and excellent service by the staff. Del Mar provides monthly activities for residents within the security of a gated community. Plus, its conveniently located near schools, shopping centers, restaurants and major freeways.

Out of all the apartments Ive lived in so far, which is quite a few, this is by far one of the nicest. The complex is very nice, quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Ive never had an issue that was resolved quickly and professionally. The parking is great, and Ive never had an issue even on weekends.My only, ONLY complaint is the water pressure and shower in the one bedroom isnt too great, my old complex had like jets! It was nice, this one is alot lower and the showers are a little small.Other than that 1 complaint, I have nothing else but good things to say. Pricing is also pretty competitive for the area, which is a fantastic area to live in. Everything is close by

No parking if 3 people pay to move in and credit check 3 people should be allowed to park and not have to walk from the park to come home, and stray cats that Management wont take care of they told me to call animal control,my cannondale bike was stolen right out of the garage in the 1st month living here which they did nothing about not the best place to live.

There is a lot to offer but I have issues that took a while to get fixed and one that Im still waiting on after a month of living here. I also complained about the grass area right in front of my patio that about 10 kids play soccer and they missed my window by inches a couple times, the ball is loud when it hits the building but nothing is done about it. Also I watch kids climb the pool gate which causes a problem opening the lock. On a positive note its very convenient to shops and the workers are very nice. I hope these issues can be resolved because it would be a nice place to live and would hate to have to move......

Clubhouse staff is awesome and the maintenance staff is really helpful and friendly. They fix all of your problems that you have with the apartment such as garage doors or broken fire alarms. Its a quiet area near malls, markets, and the schools. Its very easy living here.

This place is not safe and has terrible service, also forget about having guest over. They do not provide enough parking spaces and if you get home any later that 4 you will have to park far or outside the gate . Your guest HAVE to have a parking permit if not they will get towed. My friend constantly stays over and the one time we forget to call they towed her car. We pay over 2 grand this should not be a problem. And when parking outside the area your car will get broken into. I would not recommend these apartments to my friends nor family.

Avoid this place. There are a lot of issues here at Del Mar from thefts to no qualified security patrols. Del Mar office staff and management do nothing they except tell residents that its the residents fault.They utilize Active Building for a community social board which has allowed residents a means of letting others know what is going on around them. Del Mar has now began to censor this board and announced that they will be deleting any negative post, Del mar wants all the residents to believe we all live in an utopia.Del Mar tries to have their night maintenance personnel act as roaming security guards. There is no substitute for a qualified security personnel that has been trained to deal with any issues relating to security. A properly trained security personnel also have a radio and communication with a dispatcher for requesting backup and reporting of potential issues. Del Mar need to stop being so cheap in this area.Building and ground have suffered over the last several years, resulting in buildings stucco falling apart, building walls and light fixtures covered in spider webs, trash in bushes, unmaintained drainage which causes walkways to flood when it rains.

Most unprofessional experience I have ever come across... please do yourself a favor a when you see this place dont bother clicking and being swayed by the nice looking apartments. Their incompetent staff is only equal to their shady business dealings. They are quick to take your money and process payments and run your credit and when your all ready to move tell you last minute that the apartment is mo longer available...can you imagine 5 days before your planned move after uhauls are rented childcare arranged notices to current property managers are given and time is arranged to be taken off work to be told that you no longer have an apartment available to move into. Then, if that wasnt bad enough having to jump down their throats to force them to do their jobs and get you your money back and they act like they are doing you a favor so you can use the money toward a deposit for another place as your frantically searching. Save yourself the heartache and stay away from them and all other Lewis properties

I have lived at the Delmar’s For many years I have had some bad experiences but for the most part its been pretty good . I have had maintenance issues but it never takes them long to repair. And yes I have had my car towed yes I have had my garage broken into I also have had my car broken into but no place can offer a complete protection. Unfortunately the prices to continue to rise and I have been here long enough to see the change between what the Dellmars were before and what it is now after all the upgrades. And a few years back you could look and say what we get within the Delmar community based on what we paid was a good price. Now not so much if I could give any Suggestion it would be for the Delmar to give certain price breaks For those who have been good tenants and loyal for so many years. Since I see so many tenants coming go months at a time I have literally live here long enough to see 14 families come and go around me. But all in all it’s a great community Office staff is friendly maintenance is always doing something they maintain the property pretty good but I can only speak for the side that I live on. I do wish they would make people upkeep their patios.

I would rate it to Zero stars! The noise is out of control I work night shifts but people upstairs singing karaoke with microphone on! Or dogs barking next door. Del Mar walls are built thin! U can even hear people flushing from bathroom upstairs thats how thin it is even footsteps are heard! Spiders too alot of insects are coming in from outside trees are tall too much bugs everywhere!

PArking sucks !!!! I leave to work at 4am and dont get home until 8-9pm and when I get home I spend over 10 minutes looking for parking in which I end up walking on the other end of the complex, yet I have to unload my 2 & 3 year old kids and have them walk that far. Leaving to work every morning at 4am is worse having to walk as far as I parked my car with my two children (sometimes all the way to the shopping center across the street) This is ridiculous I am already looking for a different location. Wont be there long. And when I do find parking, I always get my car hit on with other peoples doors because thats how small the parking stalls are.
