Not sure why the pool is so green? Are they getting ready for St Paddy day already? I sure do miss swimming and seeing neighbors enjoy a nice dip in the pool. Unfortunately the property doesn’t not care if the pool is green or if our air doesn’t blow good in the master bedroom what a shame.

The best advice I can give anyone who is interesting in becoming a tenant here, run as far away as possible. Management team here is a joke and they can careless about the tenants. Management has changed numerous times since I’ve been a tenant here which is 3+ years. All they care about is getting their money and could careless about taking care of the tenants. The maintenance team has some good people which is where the 1 star comes. And please management hold your response. Because let’s be honest I don’t care what you have to say just like you don’t care about any of us tenants. “best regards”

I am absolutely disgusted at the condition that the management company is keeping the pool in. If you want to keep residents out, send a notice, lock the gates up and put a sign, but dont allow it to turn into a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other critters. Is the amount of rent paid not covering clean up? It mirrors Lake Michigan on St.Patricks day, only theres no festivities here... Just sadness and utter disgust at the lack of consideration for our community.

I’ve lived here just about a year now and never in my life have I seen such awful pool conditions. I walk my cat everyday and the pool has been noticeably greener each day, it’s been a week and it’s STILL green. So green I’m afraid an ogre might show up and claim it as his swamp. NO my photo is not edited it’s just that GREEN!!!

Edit: Camino Real has done the right thing. I have received confirmation they will return the holding deposit. Thank you!Camino Real is a great community to live in but management has been quite questionable lately. They expect tenants to be flexible and accommodating to them, but do not give us the same courtesy. We were trying to move into a bigger 3 bedroom unit. We did everything as told, which included a $200 holding deposit. Well the holding deposit meant nothing because the tenant did not move out, which mean we did not get to move in 2/1 as promised. They first told us 2/11, then pushed it back to maybe end of February. They were unsure about the status of the current tenant. Well, in the meantime, we decided we are going to purchase. Thinking management would be understanding, since we were to them for changing our move in date not once but twice, I had no doubt we would get that $200 holding deposit back. Well WRONG. It’s really sad that a large complex will treat their tenants this way. $200 is nothing to them, but everything to my family.

There is an AC vent in the (Bentz and Brandt floor plan) master bedroom but nothing comes out. Management confirmed they are aware of this problem with these floor plans but did not disclose this to me at move-in. They suggest that the tenants get a portable cooler at their own expense and pay more in electricity (my bill has increased significantly) and figure out your own solution to the master bedroom being 15 - 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the apartment. I asked if Management can provide a portable cooler at their expense just as a loaner while I reside there and they declined by stating that AC is a luxury. Yet, on their website under AMENITIES - APARTMENT FEATURES it is the first item displayed and they do NOT live up to their own standard that this is what you get in your apartment. unfortunately there is not much we can do... Its very common with your floorplan to have this issue.... Its so hot to the point I cannot even utilize the bedroom day or night. Its best to sleep in the dining room or living room, paying for a 2 bedroom 2 bath and living the studio lifestyle. Maintenance has been called to the unit and its the same thing, thats just the way this floor plan is. At this point, all I want is for the office staff to provide a decent portable AC or cooler to me at their expense since its their fault this is an issue not the tenants. I dont want a generic apologetic response on this review from the Management, I want a real solution and real customer service to rectify the situation. Ive contacted corporate (Apartment Management Consultants LLC) as well... waiting on a response (its past the quoted response time on their website). I am also waiting on a response from the city. Also, as soon as you have decor in an unauthorized area they will slap a 3 day notice to vacate on your door but let their own employees (building 19) who live onsite have all the decor and plants they want in unauthorized places with no repercussions. I have a 1 car garage and my car that is parked on the open space was broken into so I asked if I could park it in a vacant garage just for ONE night until I can get things situated and they said they couldnt and I know for a fact there were vacant garages. I should have known better about the office staff; my first time visiting the leasing center the entire staff completely ignored me, didnt acknowledge me or offer any assistance as I sat there for 5 minutes. One was in her office, one was with someone, the other was in her office: but not once did they provide any customer service so I walked out and did everything online - I liked the location and school district. The entire office staff is dismissive to resident concerns with the exception of the Manager, Angelene.

Wish I could put zero stars. They have the worst service; all they see is a price on your head. They have no ethics. I applied for their 2bed 2bath apartment . To be specific unit 8108. It is showing $2,003.00 (I have included screenshots with the date and time stamp).I submitted my application for the apartment at that price. Keep in mind this was just the day before. I received a call today at 10:25am from Erin. She told me that the tenants of the apartment are not sure whether they want to move or not. I told her that why would they post an apartment that is not yet verified to be rented. She said it was a mistake and they are not sure if they would be renting the unit or not.They have another unit available online 2bed 1bath for $2,075.00. Which she says the price is actually $2,200. Also, she says that if unit 8108 goes on the market the price is actually $2,200.The screenshots are from this morning at 10:40am.*Be aware that if you apply here and they make a mistake with their prices and advertisements, they will NOT refund your money. They will tell you to dispute it with your debit or credit card company*To:Camino RealBe more transparent with your customers. Check your work before posting; it is very misleading and irresponsible.

Since I have only been here for a couple of days, this post is only for my experience with my interaction with management and my moving experience. Gabby and Ruben have been awesome from day one. They were very attentive and responsive from the moment I applied online. I was impressed with how they communicated every step of the way. That was greatly appreciated especially in this environment of COVID19. On the day of moving, they had everything ready to expedite getting my keys and the apartment was exactly what I thought it would be.

Giving 4 starts because the unit where I was #2106, the small room was too hot during summer. Washer and dryer are to close to the rooms and it was too noisy. If you used bleach while washing the smell would go to that room. Also since the apartment was on the side of the street it was loud due to traffic.Parking, management can do a better job at enforcing tenants to use the garage instead of using it as storage. They should do random checks every 4 months or once a year.

July will be a year here for us. Until management changes I wouldnt live here again... we are leaving when lease is up! Gabby I think her name is shouldnt be a manager here! When we first moved in our car had its window smashed in and our things stolen.. when we called to let them know what had happened... we where told that happens here! Not we are working on it or anything reassuring. In the summer good luck going to the pool or even finding a parking spot.. more people that dont live here than people that do in the pool... the gate is a joke... people wait outside till someone comes out and then just go in... they say they tow if you dont have a sticker... i wish that was true! We had and car that was totaled parked outside of our apartment for 1 month then another car that didnt move and didnt have a sticker for over 4 months! And when you call Gabbys famous line that happens here!! Avoid this place!!! There is a new guy in the office now who seems capable but the maintenance staff are amazing.. honestly one of them could run this place better!

Camino Real is the worst you can possibly find. Avoid This Landlord at all costs. They will fine you thousands of $ for whatever the want. I’ve been with them for 2.5 years and when I moved out they fined me for ‘’insufficient notice penalty’’ although i called them several months before actually leaving being working out of state. 7000$ fine . I had the worst experience of my life throughout 2.5 years ( fines,they will increase your rent costs at the end of your contract) this place is disgusting. I have attached the final penalty that came to my new address I kindly provide them when I moved out.

Parking is a nightmare, I would give this place negative stars if possible. To park as a visitor you need a pass, no big deal right. Except they won’t let a visitor get the pass. Your buddy has to come to the front office, for them to give you the parking pass. And the cherry on top, they wanted to see my registration and insurance! I thought I was visiting a friend not getting pulled over. If this wasn’t bad enough, they only give 1 parking pass. We literally had to carpool.

I enjoy living at these apartments. They are very accommodating. The staff is generous as well as helpful when it comes to questions or issues with the apartment. The residents are nice and very polite. Mostly keep to themselves. They location is prime real- estate for someone that would like to be close to shopping and food. The complex is cleaned and maintained DAILY. There is courtesy security that drives around after office hours to ensure security for yourself, along with vehicles. Overall a good community.

Just moved here a month and a half ago and I have to say the management and staff are so friendly and helpful! Our first encounter there to tour the complex, Stacey, our leasing agent, was so sweet and funny. She helped us with the application process and checked in on us after our move in date. From our very first visit to today, we have had good interaction with staff. The grounds are always kept neat. There is plenty of parking. Its pretty quiet. I would definitely recommend this apartment community!

Staff here are amazing! Always very friendly and waving hello and goodbye to my family and me. Cornell specifically (sorry if the name is wrong) is always so friendly and helpful with maintenance issues. Nice apartments but expensive. After 3 weeks of living here I came outside to take my son to school and my car was gone. They towed it because they didn’t see the sticker on my car.. I also had to pick up a family member up from work but couldn’t and my boyfriend had to leave work take my son to school and then take me to the tow yard. I went to the office first to see if they could get it released and they said No...It cost me $310 to get it out... I found the sticker on the floor but it didn’t stick anymore so I went to the office to get a new one and the office manager said I couldn’t have a new sticker?! So I’m suppose to live here without a sticker on my car and get my car towed everyday?!? She finally gave me a new sticker... smh just get a house. It’s probably cheaper

I came in on a Wednesday to meet with leasing agent Stacey Peters. And I loved her immediately. Super friendly, and witty. As Stacey was showing me around we ended up looking at 2 units to choose from- I made my choice and was moved in that same day! So far...I love it here. The open area from kitchen to the living room sold me and then to top it off the bathroom is huge. I work from home and there is even a work station for that. And I love the grey wood like floors. My own full Washer and Dryer... what more could you ask for--its suits my needs perfectly. Thank you Stacey!

Everything here is great, builidings, maintenance, location. Just be prepared to get a rent increase after 10 months, and every year after that. Also, kiss good bye to your deposit after you move out. You can leave the place spotless, but you still will be charged cleaning and a few extras (ah, including painting) Good bye to $550 on my side.

The only reason this place should have 1 star is for two of the front desk ladies and 1 of the maintenance guys. I lived here for almost 3 years and they recently got a new manager. My 3 year old son is fully nonverbal and has been diagnosed with autism. He has speech therapy, OT, PT, and ABA therapy Monday-Friday. I have a team of 5 different ppl. Their most recent parking policy for visitors is one pass per apt per day. Well I wasn’t allowed different passes per day for my sons therapists. Even after the fact that the lady asked for the therapist credentials, seen regional paperwork (which is his medical findings and had no business having to see to confirm) a letter from the therapist (that wasn’t professional enough due to not having a header), and a note from my sons pediatrician. The most she could do for me was give me one extra resident parking pass. I did not need that because again, I have a large team of DIFFERENT therapist. I didn’t need to take the spot of another paying resident, I just needed different passes for the 3 hours they are there. Usually from 8-11am and then 330-530pm. There is usually open spots at the visitor spots so I don’t understand why the rules couldn’t be altered for a medical reason such as my son has therapy. These passes were not for personal use to have a good ol’ time, they were needed so my son could get the therapies needed to try and grow up able to function in this society. I understand most people lack empathy or won’t understand your situation but I don’t understand how someone that is a manager chooses to manage to poorly. I asked for her supervisors name which she denied and told me to write to corporate. Rather than dealing with the offices issues I decided to just move out at the end of my lease. I enjoyed my apartment but not the way that situation was handled.

This place is dangerous😥, they need better security. Last year my garage was broken into and my lap top was stolen from my trunk. 2 months ago, my boyfriend came to visit me and 2 of his cars stolen in the same week. 1 and a 1/2 months ago my sister came to visit and her car got broken into (window busted)On 4/10/18 my Jeep was stolen. If you live here make sure you get a tracking device for your vehicles. The so called security company working here, needs to be replaced ASAP. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE HERE.😞

Really enjoyed living here. The staff is very nice and the complex is always maintained really really well. I take advantage of all of the amenities, gym, pool, bbq pits. Inside of the apartments comes with very nice appliances full size washer dryer, refrigerator and computer area and I recently received a brand new oven. The only drawback was some loud neighbors and the price but other than that I loved it. Hate to leave.

Overpriced apartments, rude office staff. Absolutely ridiculous parking policy makes it impossible to have visitors. You can only have 1 visitor per day and the visitor cant even get the pass, only a person who is on the lease can get their visitors parking pass and they even go as far as to ask for the vehicles registration! They tow cars without passes daily.

Sometimes when living at a big apartment complex you tend to worry about how the leasing office treats their tenants…I have been living at Camino Real for the past year and I can honestly say that everyone that works here is absolutely professional and helpful! And I am happy to say that I am currently resigning my lease!…The leasing office here is wonderful..Nikki is an absolute treasure!...The property responds to my any issues I have within 24 hours and the overall community is nice and quiet…Just how I like it.

Maintenance came to fix running water in master toilet, instead of fixing it got worse and made such a God awful loud noise that shook the walls floor and mirrorsAnd they didn’t even fix the kitchen sink as per maintenance requestThen they came back to refix the toilet and the kitchen sinkThe toilet is still running and now has a creepy noise it make like I’m in a scary movie or somethingThe sink is fixed but no water pressure is real lowIf you can’t fix the toilet call a plumberThe noise has kept me up for 3 nights now

Manager of this community has the worst managerial skills I have ever encountered. Moved here 3 weeks ago and my car has already broken into despite of it being in a gated community. We reported it to the manager and her response was they couldn’t do anything about it. She didnt even write an incident report to keep track of issues. Per manager, they have patrols at night, which I have never seen ever. Parking here is probably the worst especially on the weekends. The office should be giving day pass for guests, but there are a lot of cars that doesn’t have day pass on their cars and takes all the parking. The manager said they cannot monitor who doesnt have day passes. I asked, isnt that what your patrols should be doing? Their common areas have times, the pool closes at 10, but people swim their past 10pm. Also you can just smell weed by the pool and people smoking cigarettes despite of signs NO SMOKING. I have not seen one patrol to stop this pool noise issue past 10 and people smoking. Manager’s response is they cant do anything about it. Do not waste your time and money here.

Camino Real took care of the tenants very well always had something going on like they do breakfast in the morning’s they have ice cream day they would sell funnel cakes In front of the office they would do raffles for Thanksgiving they would give away a turkey dad trick-or-treating in the office always taking care of the tenants and took care of the property they are always making some kind of improvement to the complex we had a very good experience the two years we were there

This place will suck you dry. The only reason why I had to give them one star was to write this review which I have never done before. I lived here for 5 years and they would raise the rent every year. I had my car impounded one night when my garage door was broke. I went to complain at the front office to be confronted by David who has worked here for while but this so called manager needs to be trained how to talk to people cause he treats everyone like idiots. He claimed that the security people were just doing their job but I never got a written warning about my car being parked outside my garage. They had it impounded the same night I parked it outside. When I finally decided to move they charged me for every single blind being broke so they wouldnt have to give me my deposit back. Stay away from this place it is not worth the headache. David is the worst manager I have ever dealt with.

THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE. I WENT OVER TO VISIT MY FIANCE 2 WEEKS AGO AND WHEN BACK OUT MY 2001 CHEVROLET SILVERADO (WHITE) HAD BEEN TOWED AWAY. MIND YOU THEIR IS NOT ASSIGNED PARKING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I WAS ONLY AWAY FROM THE MY VEHICLE 45 MINUTES AND FOR NO GOOD REASON MY CAR WAS TOWED. I WAS NOT IN ANYBODIES WAY AND I WAS NOT BREAKING ANY LAWS LIKE PARKING NEAR A FIRE HYDRANT AND SIMILAR LAWS WE MUST FOLLOW. ON TOP OF THAT THE LOT WAS NEAR EMPTY AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF PARKING FOR MULTIPLE TENANTS. FOR WHAT IT SEEMS THE TOWING COMPANY AND THE APARTMENT COMPLEX WORK WITH EACH OTHER. FOR EVERY VEHICLE TOWED OUT OF THEIR APARTMENT COMPLEX THE TOWING COMPANY MAKES 277.00 NOT TO MENTION THE REFERRAL PAYMENT GIVEN TO THE APARTMENT COMPLEX FOR CALLING IN THE VEHICLE.
