I havent had my nails done in years. Now that Ive gone back to selling real estate it is important to me that my nails look nice. In the past, I had acrylics and thought it would be a good idea to go that route. The first place I tried made them so thick. When it was time to refresh, I tried another spot. They were expensive and although better than the prior salon, they just felt too big. At this point I was over it and just wanted to have my natural nails back.I went to Serenity and met Kathy. I showed her my horrible mess of nails and explained what Ive gone through. She told me she would take care it. She removed the acrylic and the process began in getting my nails back to normal. Kathy is so wonderful, caring and personable. Taking time and being very detail oriented. Using the gel polish I now have gorgeous nails in french manicure. Ive received so many compliments and couldnt be happier about it! She is a true professional and cares about her work.

Upset when my pedicure lasted 15 minutes. I understand being busy on a Saturday but people are going to have to wait so you can provide the quality Service being paid for. And on top of that my gel nails have lifted so bad from the back end. Usually pay 15 at my normal salon but wasn’t upset about the 5 dollar difference except they’ve lifted not even a week later.

Went in for acrylic fill-in on price list it’s (25) I got charged (35) which is the price for a full set, when I asked about the price difference I was told that the price for fill-in is (35). They truly don’t go by their own price list. Felt taken advantage of.

2nd visit to this place...much better, Trina did my nails exactly what I wanted and gave suggestions on what would look good.

I’ve been coming to this place for over a year consistently for my nails. I recommend it to all of my friends and family. I always leave so happy and pleased with my nails and pedicures. The staff is all so friendly and they listen to you! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who wants quality manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing.

Clean, efficient, all of the employees are vaccinated and wear masks with attention to health protocols. A pedicure is a bit pricey (about $40 for the spa pedicure) but they include massage and hot stones. Tends to be busy on weekends and after 2pm.

I was serviced by TI. Everything came out perfect. I had to update my review. I would like to apologize to TI for my first negative review. The owner called and explain to me why my price was as it was. Thank you TI I owe you a big tip when I come in 3 weeks. I am your customer for life.

The only place I will receive my pedicure now theyre awesome. And I love that they did my 4yr a little pedicure with the water and things most people say she is too small but they did it and we had an amazing time this is my 2nd or 3rd time going and im definitely going back!!

I stopped in to get a full set of dip nails with tips ($47). First time ever in this salon. No prices posted when walking in. Technician was on the phone for the first 5 minutes of working on my hands. She did NOT sanitize her hands before starting to work on mine. She poured dip powder from its jar into a cup (which is fine), dipped my fingers into that cup and then when finished poured the left over contents of the cup back into the jar (which is not sanitary and seems to be done as standard procedure here). Her next appointment showed up 15 minutes early and she proceeded to rush doing my nails. The cloth towels to dry your hands with at the sink STUNK and were definitely NOT washed with bleach. The finished product on my nails is flat and duck billed. I wont be going back!

It was a nice and sunny day so I decided to go get a gel manicure and pedicure. My tech, Tommy was very nice, but the manager was rushing him to finish so that he can complete another client’s nails. Tommy attempted to do the best he could in the allotted time, but as you can see in the pictures, it is very messy. I asked the manager to remove the hangnails and polish that was on my skin, but he just gave me the filer to remove it myself. I asked him if that’s how he treats his customers and he stated, “it’s just a manicure.” I refuse to return and patronize a business that looks at customers as numbers. I will take my service to another salon (relax foot spa) nearby.

I just moved to Brier Creek not to long ago,I tried several different nail shops but none of them to my satisfaction! Came to this salon and Sandy serviced me. She is phenomenal!!! She took her time and the finish product was amazing! My gel manicure looked like a full set!!! And my pedicure felt amazing! Definitely will be booking more appts with her!

This was my first visit. I booked my appointment online same day in the morning for early afternoon. I received very prompt service. Covid/CDC cleaning and business standards in practice. The service I recieved was a full set of gel powder coffin styled nails. Stephanie was the nail technician that did my nails. She did an excellent job. The atmosphere was welcoming. I recommend this business.

Wonderful experience! I made appointments for my mother, sister and I during the holiday break. The staff is friendly and professional and the salon is very clean well kept.My manicure and pedicure were done beautifully. We were so impressed with the service! I really enjoy all my visits to Serenity. The atmosphere is so relaxing. I found the safety precautions taken for the clients excellent.

Not very impressed. There are a lot of nail studios in Brier Creek to choose from. I had a gel manicure and they really went overboard on trimming my cuticles. Very tender afterwards - for 4 days. Ridiculous. Is it really that important to be trim the cuticles so much? At least the trimming supplies were neatly packaged and sanitized but I dont understand why the over trimming. This is supposed to be a relaxing experience - not torture. And then to add insult to injury I had one fingernails gel polish peel off almost entirely - after 7 days. This is supposed to last 2 weeks.

Very disappointment! Too expensive for poor quality, I had to let the nail tech know too many times my nails shape was uneven and my paint needed another layer. If you’re okay with poor quality high price this is the shop for you... Also don’t let those “Covid certificate” documents fool you, you pay an $1 for “cleaning fees” but there is no cleaning done after or before each customers 🤷🏼‍♀️

Had gel manicure today and my nails look great !!! Everything is sanitary and all instruments come from a bag which is opened when your manicure begins. Great selection of colors in gel. I will be back. Thanks for awesome looking nails and brows (had an eyebrow wax too).

Ive been a client to Serenity Nails since 2013. Initially, the experience was very pleasant but now they have a new manager. My initial contact with the new manager wasnt pleasant so I stopped going there. The only reason I have started going back is because of Natalie! Natalie has been my tech for a long time and she is the greatest! Shes very pleasant, she does an excellent job on my facials, eyebrows and my mani/pedis. The last few times that I went back, the new manager didnt seem as tense but I still would rather have minimal contact with him. He runs this place like a factory. Input and output as quickly as possible.

I was a walk-in today and they are so nice and professional! Had the best Super Deluxe Pedixure ever, especially the massage part. The man who did my pedicure was thorough too.

I used to come to this place faithfully until recently. They have increased their prices and taken away services that they used to provide for less. You now have to pay more for services they included once before. Regular pedicure now consist of a quick wash of your feet, trim of toe nails, and polish..dont expect anything special for the increase in price.

My friend and I came in on a Monday afternoon when there was only 1 other person already getting a pedicure. It took 2 hours for she and I to get a fill in each. The gentleman doing my nails could not focus because of the conversation that all of the employees were having for about an hour straight. My friend has a very short nail on one of her nails and they very literally pointed and laughed at her and her nail. My leopard print nail design is far from leopard print. Pretty terrible service.

The quality of service I received at this nail salon was beyond unacceptable. I had to request assistance as no one greeted me or acknowledged my presence upon entry. The first 5 minutes of being serviced, the nail technician cut my finger with the drill. The acrylic was thinly applied and as a result, my nail broke 5 days later. The gel polish began to chip as well. I returned to address the issue and again, I was met with no greeting, just blank stares. Having to ask for service, yet, again, I informed them of the issue and was told to come back tomorrow as they were busy with two other appointments.Two days later, I went back to get the nail fixed and was met with the same rude demeanor. I made the manager aware of my discontent and he apologized. However, the disregard I experienced for my time and money as well as the inequality of service endured all 3 encounters will not allow me to patron this establishment ever again.

My feet were dry dry after the pedicure. The leg massage was very minimal. The older lady was very light with the nail polish. Two coats of polish. Needless to say my polish was coming off after 3 days. Thought parafin wax moisturized the feet. This did not. Had to oil feet when I got home. Dont think Ill patronize this shop again.

Have enjoyed my service here from day one. Hoan is my girl! She is excellent and knows how to tailor the service to your needs. I miss her when she is booked or off work. Love a great atmosphere and awesome service. My place for great feet!

It was my first time going to this particular salon and I got an acrylic nail set and my nails began to break and fall off after a week and a half. Im not rough with my nails and paid a lot for them. I will not be back

I totally found this place by accident, I actually had an appointment with my regular person at another salon and when I got there, they informed me he was on vacation and they would work me in within an hour. I walked out and looked on line and found your salon and I am so glad I did. I was given Steven that day and his professionalism is outstanding. I have now been going to this salon for over 2 months and have received nothing but outstanding service.

After ten days my GEL POLISH is just peeling off my finger nails.EDITI went back and they fixed my nail free of charge, and were really professional about it. When I go I ask for Andie hes the best in my opinion, and books fast! So make an appointment! They have really become competition for the other places in brier creek. As I used to go to unique nails.

I have been going to Serenity Nail Spa for 2 years on a monthly basis (mainly due to convenience as it is in close proximity to my job).There have been times that I have been dissatisfied with my nails, but not to the point where I had to return. However I got my nails done a week ago for a wedding I was in, I did my usual SNS, which is about $60 and should last around 4 weeks. 3 days after getting my nails done, the first nail cracked halfway across my nail bed, then another nail broke, and another cracked a few days later. I called them and told them the situation and was told to come in the following day because the owner would be in. I called again before I came in, they said they would take care of it. They begin taking off my nails and after the first hand they proceed to tell me they would have to charge me $36 for a polish change. I could not believe that! And I was not paying for their poor workmanship a second time! I stated I that am a regular, as they know as I came in twice a month! And that I have never come back complaining. She said I could come later to speak with the manager, but I will never return there. They clearly treat their returning clients poorly and I will not spend anymore of my money there. Two of my nails are severely cracked and they could not care less! DO NOT GO HERE.

Ive been to other nail salons in the brier creek area. This one is BY FAR THE BEST one for CUSTOMER SERVICE & PRICE! I would highly recommend Serenity Nail Spa.

I had a great experience with a nail tech there on my first visit. Which is wonderful because its close to my house. However, being an experienced nail spa expert....lol I know they have drinks, water, soda and other spirits. I wasnt offered a drink. Not even water.. there were three people with champagne glasses. I wonder if its the service, nope no excuse! If someone is spending their money for services EVERYONE should be treated equally.I will come back to request the same nail tech, and when I return Ill address my question. Thats the only reason why they couldnt get 5stars. 😜

I visit Serenity every 4-6 weeks for a facial and pedicure. I also get waxing done when needed. Natalie does all my services. She is fantastic. Her facial is the best Ive ever had.

My experience today really pushed me to never go here again. When I opted to stick with regular paint instead of gel, I was berated as to why I would do that and that the paint will not last. She then proceeded to hold a conversation with her coworker the whole time all the while yanking my hand when she wanted it. At one point she yanked me so hard in knocked my hand with wet nail polish into the counter. When she saw it got messed up she said be careful. For $30 for a gel manicure, there should be much better customer service. I wasnt even offered a drink. Try elsewhere because you will not be treated properly.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! A waste of time and money.My friend and I made an appointment for SNS manicures and Pedicures. Upon arrival they made my friend wait. So the appointment was pointless. She didn’t have time for her manicure because of waiting so long.Then after one week one nail came clean off. I get it fixed and the next day another nail cracks. I call for a refund. They say okay over the phone. When I arrive they say they can only give half. Then they say no they can’t. This place is terrible!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The younger lady messed my eyebrows up n the manager tried to fix it n they were still trash. N they wouldnt give me my money back. Please ONLY GO TO JULIE for eyebrows!!

I HAVE LEFT THERE WITH TWO DIFFERENT COLORS ON MY HANDS AND FEET. LETS JUST SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.. CHECK AROUND PEOPLE, THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THAT DOES NAILS THAT FOLLOWS STATE HEALTH REGULATIONS.. Three girlfriends and I scheduled pedicures here. I also did a manicure. The lady who did my pedicure ripped my cuticle, and I have not been able to wear close toed shoes for a week. She also cut my nails different lengths and shapes. They told me they would give a discount for both mani and pedi but when I went to check out it was HIGHER than the price they had on their menu right in front of me. They said they charge extra for removing nail polish before doing a mani or pedi. I have never heard of this anywhere else, and it’s not advertised on their price sheet. So not only was it the most expensive one I’ve ever received, it was the worst.

I have been here before and I noticed that some of the techs are really good, pleasant and friendly. There are only one or two who have enough care and skill to apply UV Gel and gel polish with expertise. The night I went in they were very busy and I was rushed around by a girl they called in to help. She layered the UVgel very thick about 4 coats of pink gel and I figured she would file them down quite a bit. She only used the fine bit nail drill and i even know that drill is a final stage/smoothing bit. She should have used the heavy brown file to carve out some of the thick gel she globbed on. I didn’t speak up and I should have- bc when she told me i was done they looked like bubbles of gel and were wide and thick. I asked her to redo them and please file them to a normal thickness. She got VERRYY upset and filed them down so low that she cut me, absolutely butchered my shape and of course multiple nails broke within the next week. I won’t go here again, Even though I have had quality nails done here. I would advise against renting spots out to nail techs you don’t know... this place does better with consistent and caring permanent employees.

My cuticles still hurt, visited the salon yesterday, basic manicure, they cut my cuticles to the point I was bleeding on 8 fingers. I recommend they send their artist to school, dont think they are properly trained.

I made an appointment for 11:30 and waited over 30 minutes for someone to get to me. Once they got to me, my pedicure chipped the very next day.

My first trip to Serenity Nail Spa was outstanding. Even though it was almost closing time and they were packed, the technician took her time to make sure I left completely relaxed and with the best mani/pedi I have ever gotten.

Loved the job they did with acrylics but hated the color job. Too much nail polish where you can see brush strokes and some air bubbles.

When I moved to Raleigh last fall, one of the first things I needed to do was find a new place for my nails, waxing, etc. Since I chose to live in Brier Creek, I wanted to find a place close to home. The closest was Serenity Nail Spa. I have read previous reviews and found them completely WRONG!! Upon talking to the staff, I learned that it is under new ownership/management.I appreciate the staff there, as do the female members of my family. We all go there when any of them come to visit.. They are friendly, professional and honest. They make recommendations when asked, dont try to sell/push unnecessary services and they take their time to make sure that you are happy with what youre having done. If you dont have time to do corrections, they will happily accommodate your schedule to ensure your satisfaction.The place is amazingly clean and sanitary. As a diabetic, I cant risk my health by going into a cheap, dirty place. I have taken advantage of all their services except for the massages and eyelashes. But Im pleased with their selection of offerings for the services I do use (mani/pedi, facials, waxing).Bottom line...I wont go anywhere else. Give the place a chance and dont believe the old reviews. This place is so exceptional that my mother wont go anywhere else and she doesnt even live here!

Ive been to this nail salon about 3x now, and I love it. The last gel mani I got has lasted a month! No chipping or peeling off, and I do a lot of typing everyday for work. The only way you can tell its old is because my nails have started growing.Everyone is great, and they take their time with your nails. Ive gone to Jenny each time and she does an awesome time on my gel mani, and regular pedi.

The Signature Pedi and Mani came with a lot of extras that were great. I would go again.

Sai does an AMAZING job on individual lashes! Jenny and all the rest do a great job on mani/pedis. I advise making an appointment because they are so busy.

The lady that did my nails was VERY rude!!! She was adamant about picking my nail color, she trimmed WAY to much of my cuticles (and with a drill....YIKES), and left me with bleeding cuticles for which she showed no remorse or consideration. It took several days for my cuticles to heal. I will NEVER come back to this nail salon.

I have never in my life been to a business that displays such horrible customer service. The atmosphere here is rude and almost discriminated. I have always been a customer that will freely pay for a service no matter how expensive it may be as long as I am getting quality experience. From the time I come through the door until the time I leave. First off these people have the most hurtful conversations among each other about their customers, which I thought was disgusting. The lady in the front, Im guessing she is the owners wife did my nails and let me just tell you all it was the most painful experience ever. I went in to get my nails removed and get a full set on, she was clipping the nails off and she was handling my nails so rough she split my nail right down the middle. And then got up walked away and had someone else come finish, that person was able to remove my nail but while using the electronic buffer she burned my cuticles, I said to stop and she was hurting me and she continued. Then she stopped and another person came over who finally finished my nails. Third time is a charm, because once we moved to her station she apologized for what I had already experienced and also asked me for something to drink. This was my 3rd visit and not once have they ever offered me (wine, a soda, bottled water) while I was getting a service. But some customers (non black) came in and they didnt have to ask for anything. They charge on what they want to charge and never follow the price list on the wall. Attitudes are horrible, not gentle or kind, not honest about the cost of their services. If you are particular about your nails, quality customer service, a friendly relaxed and welcoming environment I HIGHLY recommend LA VIE nail spa on hwy 54-55. The experience matches what you will pay. I will be reporting these ppl to the board.

I showed a picture to the nail tech and asked if she could do my nails like the picture. She said yes. I got a pedicure, that was below average and she proceeded to give me a french maicuure. Which is NOT what I asked for. A repeatedly asked if she remembered the picture and needed to look again. She said no, I finally asked her to stop and showed her the picture again. She said I cant do that. I said but you said you could when I arrived, and she said yes, but I cant do that. I left so disappointed and needed to find someone else to do my nails just days before my wedding. The worst experience I have ever had. Liars!!!!!!

I’ve been going to this salon for a few months and have NEVER - NOT ONCE in ALL of my times coming here, have i been charged 52 dollars for a full set. They change their prices WHENEVER they want to, and it’s nor right.
