My bf surprised me with a mani and pedi (I dont normally get these done). They did a fantastic job! I had to go back and get it again. Theyre very friendly and do exactly what you ask. IJennette worked with me and she is very patient. I highly recommend this place. Be sure to set an appointment first though because they are normally busy. I got gel polish and it lasted for a month (when i went back) without chipping nor peeling.

I see Lynn every two weeks for a manicure/fill-in. Always professional, high-quality and on time. I have had several pedicures, as well as my husband and friends when in town.. always a pleasant and rewarding experience.

My favorite place to go in Raleigh! Love the convenient location in North Hills(Parking up front is tough sometimes, but theres plenty of parking in the apartment complex garages that is free and a short walk away!) and Vinny is wonderful. Ive been going to him for a couple years now and could not imagine going anywhere else! Hes always so kind, funny & does a great job with my nails. Definitely call and make an appointment because he is a popular man! :)

I was never even given as much as a hello when entering this establishment. My experience here was far less than desirable. Two of us walked in from out of town and stood waiting to be greeted or even acknowledged. At least five employees walked by, made eye contact and still never even offered a hello. Very rude and poor customer service. Safe to say we left. after ten minutes of still no acknowledgment, we were only acknowledged as we were walking out of the door.

It is very clean and modern on the inside. I have visited a few times and had different nail techs each time. All of them preform differently and there was no consistency with my nails. Although I always request the same shape and just a color. I have had 3 pedicures and 2 of the times i have been cut by one of their tools. Which made it very uncomfortable for the rest of the visit.

So, I thought this spot would be awesome because of the location but my experience was not. I went as a walk-in. I was immediately able to get a chair, which was great. The facility is clean and they seem to have a decent amount of colors to chose and the prices are reasonable.My technician’s name is Vinny. He was hilarious, spoke great English & wanted to converse; which I appreciated. Unfortunately, he cut me 3 times. The fist time, I was ok...but then it kept happening. Then, at the end he rubbed Vaseline all over my fingers. When I left the topcoat on everything on my left hand was messed up. It looked like someone had done a drip painting on my nails. I went back the next day to have the top coat redone. They were happy to do it. He was fast, too fast. I left disappointed again. Now, all of my nails had a messy, uneven topcoat. Instead of going back, I settled with fixing my nails at home. I used a glitter coat to hid all the extra topcoat from the salon. Very nice people but I won’t go back. My fingers are still red and sore after 3 days.

Ive been coming here at least once a month for over 2 years. Vinny is GREAT! Hes super friendly and is always spot on with my nails. I get dip, usually with tips which last 3-4 weeks and I always pick at my nails. Every time I go somewhere else because I am away from the area they never come out as well or last as long as when I get them done here. Try these guys out. Give them a shot and build your own experience with them.

My friend and I came in for a pedicure and we both were very disappointed in the service. Staff were in a rush to get us done and out. My pedicure is horrible, never dried and it is smudged. The polish seemed old and she gave no attention to making us feel relaxed, foot and leg massage was done in 5 minutes. Definitely do not recommend.

We went there today to celebrate my daughters birthday. They absolutely catered to my little girl. They made her feel so special. My daughter and I both got Mani/Pedis and both ladies were absolutely fantastic! Thank you!

Vinny is the BEST!!! He always does a great job on my nails(I do gel nails) and his pedicures are amazing!! Very relaxing!! He always does a great job with the massage part of the pedicure(the pressure is always perfect). I have been going here for 3 years now and once I had an appointment with Vinny-I’ve never used anyone else. The shop is very clean and sanitary. Since Covid they have been using plexiglass at each station and everyone wears a mask all the time. I feel very safe going here for my manicures and pedicures.

Rushed service with zero attention to detail. My cuticles were picked raw. The polish itself was bumpy, multiple air bubbles, and rough edges. Would not recommend.

My first experience.... never again.My friend and I decided to try and get our nails done, granted it was close to closing however we asked them if it was possible for a manicure and a pedicure. When they told us yes we assumed that they would then stay late so that they can get my $120 I spent on the both of us. Instead to our surprise we got a nail speed drive throw at the pedicure station. We have people to our feet and hands all at the same time. The was no relaxation, we could not even sip the wine given because they were working so fast! We literally had two to three people on us at one tome! Also I ask for a simple design on my toe and it looks like my 5yr old did it! I asked for no color other than black... but still didn’t listen.I just wish they would have told us no at the beginning If they were in a rush to leave for the night and we would have been ok with that. But for me to spend 120$ on myself and my friend and then get put out where I can’t even dry my nails inside so they can lock up and leave was so rude!I could have not spent the 120$ and done better for myself and my friend at home! I’m pretty annoyed!

Ruby and her coworker were so nice! They made my birthday pedicure a wonderful experience!!! At the end of the service the owner came in and he was equally nice and thanked me for my service. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

They always can accommodate walk-ins and have a drink menu you can choose from. Vast number of colors including the latest mood polishes. Tools used are sanitized and packaged for each person. Ask for Vinny if possible. Polite and great conversationalist. While they all do quality work it seems he takes extra care to make it perfect and makes sure he knows all the latest nail technology. Ive gotten into the dip powder nail polish and he takes the time to ensure they always look natural.

I just got a full set from here, I have had many full sets in the past. Now, my finger is swollen and infected. This is the same finger the lady nicked on the edge with the machine. She was going so fast and it hurt when it happened. I actually said ouch and she just continued. Now my finger is leaking puss from that same nail she opened up on the side. Terrible.... she was going too fast and worried about time instead of my experience. I dont know if the infection is from that or dirty equipment. Either way my finger is now infected.

Worst nail experience I’ve ever had, they rushed through applying the nails and my friends nail broke off within an hour of leaving. The shape was awful along with the application. I opened a box the next morning from Amazon and two of my nails brutally ripped off and started gushing blood. I went and had them cut the rest of nails down, along with cutting off some of my destroyed pointer finger nail. The women who did my nails apparently thought it was funny that this happened to her client, how disgusting. Laughing at causing your client immense pain. I would’ve expected to be offered a refund for something like this happening but instead they ignored my request for a refund and just had me in the front sitting and waiting for nothing. Will never return to such a salon nor recommend to anyone. I’m not sure how to upload photos to my review but I will add them to the photos section or to this review as soon as I figure out how to. I will be reporting this salon. Your failure to properly apply nails resulted in an awful injury for your client and the lack of professionalism to even attempt to resolve this situation appalls me.

Vinny has been doing my SNS nails for a while now and he does a great job! I wouldn’t do anywhere else!

My nails were done on Sunday and ir looks like I got them done 2 weeks ago. I feel like it was rushed.Job was poor but staff very friendly.

Nails ended up being sorta chipped and nails are uneven. Unsure why this happened for $55 and a $20 tip to each nail tech.

Not the best experience. Felt awkward there. My hands were super dry afterwards. Technician was quick and efficient but was rough with the nail clippers.

Generally Im totally happy, but I wasnt impressed with the finish of my nails. They were very lumpy and they coat too much for that.

I had to stop patronizing this establishment after it went under new management. You can tell the nail techs are talking about the customers just by their attitude and rudeness. The last time I spent money here...they over charged my credit card after walking over to me and verifying that they corrected it!Of course I didnt see that they were dishonest until my statement came.They are also using my daughters picture on their website without asking for our permission.

Awful salon, don’t waste your money here. This is a shame to have such a salon in north hills.

I have been going to Midtown Nail Spa for 2 years and have always had a wonderful experience. My go to person is Vinny, he always fits me in his busy schedule when I call and is always on time when I get there. Most places I have been I have had to wait even when I had an appointment. Love it there!

I have always loved this place, it’s been my go-to for nails. Today I went to get a pedicure. The woman was just starting when all the sudden I felt a lot of pain. I looked down and she was clipping away an entire corner of my already short toenails. It was bleeding. I asked her to stop immediately, to which she replied sorry, it was ingrown.The woman was very nice but should know it was not ingrown, and the number one way to prevent ingrown toenails is to cut straight across and never cut too short. Now I am at risk of it becoming ingrown.I woke up today to a throbbing toe. Hoping for the best, but not feeling optimistic. I don’t usually post reviews but am frustrated with this experience.

After going to many nail salons in the Raleigh area this one is the only one I continue to return to. They are definitely a busy salon but staffed for it. I may have waited once but for a short period of time, probably enjoyed a glass of wine while waiting.. so who is complaining? I frequent every couple weeks for a dip powder manicure ....& a pedi during the warmer months. I’m shocked at the negative reviews! Where are you ladies going? What am I missing?

I walked in asked for a FILL IN. Sat down the nail tech started clipping my nails off !! I had a full set of ombre with pink powder. She said the man at the front desk didnt tell her... if you dont know what someone wants you dont start clipping there nails off...the tech also used a dirty cloth to dry my hands during the process. Ive gotten my nails done all over the country and NEVER have i had such an awful experience. I settled for a basic clear gel mani jus to leave with something as soon as possible. Which i was charged $42.00 for. First & LAST time at this establishment. Any professional establishment makes an error like this typically the owner is apologetic and the service is compt none of which happens at this place. No professionalism in sight here. Do Not Reccomend.

Salon is nice and clean. My issue was the customer service, did not feel very welcome, we were put in the back behind a wall where no one can see us. I felt like this was done on purpose as there was several empty tables in front of the salon. The technician seem like he was in a rush to do my daughters nails... I was highly upset because we were there for her birthday and she noticed the treatment as well.. Please do not go here if u are a person of color the treatment may be different for you.

I moved to Raleigh from Miami about 3 months ago. Id been on this mission to find a nail salon that would work to my standard, and I finally did at Midtown Nail Spa. Im writing my first google review because Im so happy. I needed a refill and pedi. I had my nails done by Vinny who cared about details like removing ingrown toenails, keeping the acrylic thin and natural, and removing gel polish from the edges.

Midtown Nail Spa is my go-to in Raleigh. The staff is friendly and professional, and Vinny always does an incredible job on my nails! I highly recommend Midtown and Vinny, you won’t be disappointed.

They used to be awesome, but quality has gone down to the point that I’m going to stop going there. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years. They don’t keep appointments EVER - as in, I’ve come multiple times at the appointment time and either had to wait 30-45 mins, or the person I made the appointment with left because no one told them that someone made an appointment with them. It’s also over priced, and a lot of the times they don’t do all of the services you’re paying for or rush through them. Some of the manicurists are rude too. However, if you do decide to come here, try to meet with Lynn or Ruby - they are both extremely nice and always do a fantastic job. Very disappointed and sad that I have to find a new place.

I stopped by yesterday 11/19 to have my nails soaked off. First of all their technique on removing nails was horrible. They took a tool to lift the nail off. I am very disappointed for the reason, one of my nails was ripped of from the corner which has caused it to get infected. I asked if she could just file them down and she tried but to be honest it seem she did not know what she was doing. She kept offering me to have my nails dip in some type of powder after I told her I needed my nails to breath. I will never come back here again. The way they remove acrylic and gel is horrible. Its about the customer and I felt I did not get this here.

Love this place- I have a pedicure almost every time I visit Raleigh & stay at the AC hotel, 3-6 times/year. Fresh fruit, scrubs, massage, paraffin are part of the service& a beverage included. Staff is fun& good at their jobs. Cant wait to go back!!

If you want a high priced full set that falls off in less than 2 weeks, come here. I came here for a full set recently, looked great, have I seen better? yes. However, 2 weeks later they start popping off. And I mean 4 of them, not just 1 or 2. I contact the shop about this and they say come in and well fix at no charge. So I go in thinking that Im going to get a whole new set for free, he starts repairing only the broken ones. And Im like go ahead and fill the rest in, you know, so they can MATCH the broken ones that were being fixed. At the end, he charges me full price, $35 for a fill! How does that even calculate when 4 of them, basically a whole hand, were broken from your bad job? What did no charge mean exactly? You were seriously only going to fix one hand and leave the other not filled in? They dont have to worry about getting my business again. I give it 2 stars for cleanliness.

They do a GREAT job and the people are super nice even when extremely busy. Ive gotten pedicures here Id probably go anywhere for a pedicure and somewhere else for a more relaxing experience. I will not go just anywhere for the SNS powder dip service. This is the only place that Ive found in the area that does an excellent job and that the powder actually lasts with no chips or cracks whatsoever. They take time to make sure your nails are perfect, close attention to detail. The man that does the SNS Ive had the best experience with but all of the other folks are great as well. I never have a complaint about the shape or quality of the work. They consistently do a great job which keeps me from venturing elsewhere. They also do a great job for their price so I end up tipping them up to a price Id pay for lower quality work at one of the nearby places.

Made a last minute appointment on a Friday afternoon. They were able to take me right away. Had a great NextGen dipping powder manicure with Vinny. My nails have great shape, length and thickness. I never felt rushed and he actually engaged in great conversation. I am very pleased with my experience and highly Vinny and Midtown Spa!

I brought my daughter in for a full set for the first time on her 16th birthday! She thoroughly enjoyed it and we have gone back since then. Very pleasant experience. We may just make it our monthly mother/daughter outing. :)

Even though I made a reservation the night before and arrived on time, I had to wait so long that I was unable to get both my pedicure and manicure. It took over 90 minutes just for the pedicure, and I had to leave. The quality of the experience was pretty good but I was majorly disappointed, especially since I booked an appointment.

Unfortunately for it to be in such a awesome place it is overly place and they care more about the money than the satisfaction of the customer! I thought I would give them another try today and it was truly a disappointment. I won’t be going back!

Everytime i come here i think it wont be as bad as last time. Always bad. They cut me everytime. Then ask oh does it hurt? U think? Then its a four hour ordeal. The nails come out too thick. The polish is old. When Lyn owned it it was awesome. Now it just sucks. Go someplace else. This place isnt what it used to be. Unless you want to pay too much, wait all day and get a cut.

Excellent service! I hate going to a nail salon and the techs want you to spend 10 seconds selecting a polish. I went in and I believe it was Linda (I could be 100% wrong about her name) greeted me, asked what I wanted done, showed me the colors they had available for gel and took her time! She did a great job and I can say I will be a returing customer.Atmosphere was great, clean, friendly.

I went Friday to kill some time before my hair appointment, and so glad I did. Fast service, and Lilly did a fantastic job on my ombré French tips. I loved her so much and I’m completely obsessed with my nails. I live in Clayton and will be driving the 30 minutes there to have Lilly do my nails for now on!

Worse nail place ever! Not clean and the workers are not service oriented at all. They were rude, in a hurry and rough. It was miserable, and Ive been to many nail salons. I have been there probably 10 times ..because I can walk from my apartment. But I will drive across the street to the other salon near Walgreens from now on. I will never go again!!!

Perfect place to get nails done with a group of friends for a girls’ day. I called an hour before coming and they worked in 5 of us plus a 5 year old. They serve one complimentary drink (water, tea, soda, or beer/wine) and even let me place my newborn in his car seat on the seat next to me. They were so welcoming and were okay with me nursing my newborn during my pedi. They also offered to let me change his diaper in a back room. That was just the customer service.In regards to quality of nail service, this was one of the best pedis I’ve had. I was asked about nail shape, water temp, and the staff was very friendly and talkative with us (I’ve been to many other places where the staff talk amongst themselves only). Classic pedi was only 30$. I paid an extra 7$ for callus removal and was pleased that it was worth it. She came back to my dry heels more than once and did a great job! I have paid extra for this at other places only to be disappointed and feel that I basically got the same service as the basic pedi.Overall great experience, loved the staff and quality of pedicure! The best value I’ve seen in Raleigh so far. I will stick with this salon from now on.

Gave up on them. The former owner was my neighbor in the bldg and have been going there for years mainly due to convenience. Place is filthy, no one wants to do a regular mani, they argue about who takes walk ins. On and on. I started tipping 6$ on a manicure and $3 on a gel in order to bribe them to do my mani. Sorry but gel tears ur nails up and I have strong nails so I don’t need “gel”. I need a gel about 2 times a year. Finally said enough. Horrible place. AVOID. Desperate people who don’t value quality go here

I read the reviews but gave it a chance anyway. big mistake. will not be going back. wish i could have given 0 stars. the prices aren’t updated and they won’t honor the prices they have on display at the front desk. took my card and ran it while i was telling them that they were charging me too much. owner came out and started yelling. very unprofessional. surprised they haven’t gotten in trouble for false advertising and a filthy establishment. no AC and flies swarming. North Hills should be embarrassed to have this salon in their area.

Terrible! Made an appointment. Once I got there waited 30 minutes for the pedicure that was rushed! The woman said they were busy- no excuse! I had an appointment for my nails after and specifically with Vinny. He said he couldn’t do it. I was there over an hour and got a terrible pedicure and my nails DID NOT get done. All they care about is getting as many people in as possible. They rush everything! I will never go back! This was the 3rd try I gave them. 3 strikes you are out. TERRIBLE!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. As a North Hills resident, I was originally very excited to find a nail salon close to my apartment. However, my experiences at this salon have been dreadful. Where do I begin? Ive been twice for a pedicure. Both times I was injured in the process. The first time my technician cut off too much skin, and left me bleeding. Even after discovering she inflicted an open wound, she proceeded to exfoliate my entire foot. I obviously had to say something at that point. Salt + Open sore= No. Despite my initial distaste, I decided to give this place another try, simply because it was close to home. This time I am walking away with a FIRST DEGREE BURN. The water for my foot soak was painfully too hot. I knew something was wrong when I saw a piece of skin literally bubble up and peel off. I told my nail tech and she immediately had an attitude. The entire experience was unpleasant, painful, and honestly awkward. I will never go back to this salon. Ladies, if youre looking for a quality salon try Village Spa Nails. They are close to NC State, much cleaner, much nicer, and no injuries.

I went with a girlfriend and got SNS and they did a decent job, didn’t get the powder as close to the cuticle as I would have liked so it grew out quickly. The woman who did my nails was quiet and efficient however the man who worked on my friends nails was incredibly rude. It was almost shocking. He was curt and rude and glared at her ominously when she asked a simple question. I will be looking elsewhere to get my nails done, which is a bummer since this is so conveniently located to my home.

Worst pedicure ever. Lady spent ten minutes on a pedicure that should’ve been about thirty. She went so fast she cut my feet up, now I’m worried about getting an infection. She also cut my toenails diagonally instead of straight across so they are not even straight. Very disappointed for it being in such a nice area of town.

This is the only place I go to. I never had a bad experience, I always get the same lady, Vivian. Shes nice, proffessonal, and always does an extremely great job. I have been to places all over the 919 area, and my nails use to chip and break almost always about a week 2 weeks tops after getting them done, I can honestly say since coming to midtown nail spa, I can go 3-4 weeks without them chipping or breaking. I highly recommend this place to anyone thats loves great service.

This place is filthy! Looks as if it hasnt been cleaned in a year. The people that work here are very rude and dont take quality time doing your nails. For the area and location I thought it would be MUCH different. Will never go back! Please clean your salon, even the walls had an inch of dust on them yuck!

Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. It looked worse than if I just did it myself. Overpriced, unprofessional, the place smelled and looked dirty. Only went here because I had a gift certificate and I will never be going back. I would expect much nicer from North Hills.

One of those places the makes up their own prices as they go. Be sure to ask your technician how much it’s going to be before your service starts. I called beforehand and they still charged me more than the price quoted. When I questioned her, she made up a bogus answer.

Have gone here twice in the past two months, the first time to do my gel nails and the other to have a standard manicure done. Honestly, I would suggest to anyone to go find a different salon, as my nails ( as well as my friends) are the worst they have ever been after those two sessions, and Ive done manicures many times in the past. During both manicures they damaged the nail and nail bed by poor quality and over-filing - after a month, I still have signs of it on my nails. They get one star for offering to redo nails when I called to complain, however, they refused to give a refund. So.. I will never go to this salon again.Gel manicure session: they left a big gap at the bottom above the cuticle so my nails needed to be redone in under two weeks. The lady that did my nails was did not have great customer service skills and kept answering her personal phone. They did not massage hands like they do at other places; we had to ask for complimentary drink; the 30 second shoulder massage was very bad.Standard manicure session: small color choice, poor nail filing and shaping job, horrible painting job that I noticed as soon as I got home. Nail polish started chipping the next morning and was all chipped off by day two.

These Google reviews are pretty bad, but I love this place! Ive been to so many nail salons in Raleigh and Ive finally found my salon here. They are fast, friendly and do a great job. Its very clean, the atmosphere is nice, they have free drinks and 100s of Gel colors. I really have nothing bad to say!

There was so much with this experience that went wrong I dont know where to start. I just moved into the condos above the salon and decided to try it yesterday. I invited 2 others to go and we got manicure and pedicures. 2 of us were receiving pedicures while 1 of us was getting started on the manicure. The girl doing the manicure was extremely painful everything was wrong. It started with no cuticle cream, dull cuticle cutters, and then stood to massage my hands and shook her head no with a big sigh. I asked her if something was wrong and she said no.. and then she spaces out and checks her phone.. I literally sat there for 3-5 minutes will she checked her phone and scrolled through something...I mean who plays on their phone will you have a customer... other employees saw my face and just started laughing amongst themselves. Then I look over and the male working walks over to the staff area and starts cutting his nails and leaves the clippings in the floor and then comes over to have another employee give him a manicure. She gave him a manicure and then proceeded to wipe the equipment off with a cotton ball and alcohol. No autoclave. Matter of fact they were all doing their own grooming. Meanwhile the other 2 were receiving the same pedicure treatment and both were done different. One of us got a foot scrub others didnt or get the hot towel after the pedicure treatment. I asked for navy polish and she brought me tan. Then we she figures out what navy is she brings 3 samples on and try it on my nail and just leaves it. Then one of us goes to get our nails done after the pedicure and had asked for a manicure and a full set. She just did a full set no manicure ever happened my cuticles they look the same today as they did when I left I tried to explain this and she had no idea what I was talking about and barely spoke english. No cuticle, no hand massage, no hand wax...nothing just a full set with gel which are already cracking and chipped and its just day 2. Please do not go to this establishment. I payed 90 dollars and it was a joke.

This place was great! I was hesitant because of some of the nasty reviews on here, but after experiencing it for myself I am sold! They did a fantastic job on my fill-in and corrected my nails that had been done very poorly by another nail salon. I had Bronson and my nails looked amazing! It is a little pricey, but worth it!

This was my first and last time attending this nail salon. The woman that did my eyebrows really MESSED me up. I usually get them threaded but I decided to get them waxed for the first time in a very long time. I should have known it was a red flag when the woman told me that the price for wax is $12.00! WHAT?!! Smh. So I asked for a clean up, when she finished it did not even look as though my eye brows were even done, I asked her could she redo them and clean them up some more, but they still came out horrible. Please do not get your brows done here.... I should have read reviews before I came here.
