The first time I went was a couple weeks ago to get my nails repaired and color change on my two ring fingers and Joanne my nail tech did such a great job, I told her I would be back to see her again. So, this time around I got a manicure with gel polish on my natural nails. Joanne is so sweet and very meticulous. She did an awesome job again. I believe my year long search for the right nail tech is finally over. I have been to many places in Raleigh and the surrounding area looking for a replacement and it has been a challenging journey, but I believe Finger Tips is my new spot. SN: the hand and arm massage couldve been much better, but my nails look and feel good, so Im good 👍🏾

Picked a great time to walk-in, had a slight wait time but services performed were good. Everyone is so polite and engaging. Not awkwardly silent. I think having an appointment is your best bet here. I think I finally found a quality nail salon.

My nail tech joanne was super sweet and was very careful with my nails and made sure i liked them :) prices r pretty reasonable i 10/10 recommend :D

Every time I come here. They have one of the guys do my pedicure. And it’s literally always something. If not my toe being dug into and cut until bleeding. Or them just not following the request I asks for. Which is typically one color with a shimmer on top. It’s harder to communicate nicely and gently with them when they do the opposite of what I’m asking. Every time I’m here. This one is honestly just closest to my house so I can still work from my phone. But I think I’m done with Connivence rather than going somewhere I’ll enjoy. When you point out a mistake to any one they will ignore it until the one who did your service is available. I don’t like that. I’m not coming back here.

Tom has always done an excellent job on my nails. unfortunately Tom was away and a new girl had to do my fill-in for my ombré nails. The next day one of my nails broke as I was heading to a holiday work function. I called and spoke with Laura, who told me to come back in and get it fixed before the weekend. They fixed it at no charge however over the weekend I had two additional nails break and was out of town. When I came back they had Tom fix both nails at no charge which now looked completely different in quality from the rest.The next week right before NYE, I had another nail break and i waited to go back because, i was out of town, and honestly i don’t have the time to go to the nail salon 2-4 times in 2 weeks and i travel a lot. I came in to get my fill in and my last nail repaired. I was told my nails kept breaking because the new girl had made them too thin. during my fill in one of my nails broke as it was getting filed. Because it was already filled, they did not want to start over and did a quick fix- which shows. I came in at 4:22 and left at 5:59 for a fill in where i walked right in and sat down. after the nail broke the manager Laura said she would take over with the repair. She said she was not happy with the repaired nail (see pics) but said she would not charge me for the first repair (not sure why that was a thought) as if she were doing me a favor. Sadly i will not be returning here. My past 3 trips have been a complete fiasco.

I have been going to Fingertips Salon for several years. Laura and her staff are extremely professional and the salon is always spotless. Whenever they are not working with a client, they are cleaning. This is especially important now that Covid is a worry. I have moved an hour away from the salon, but I still go back to Fingertips once a month for my nail services. They are the best!

She listens to my ideas and requests and sometimes she may freelance which she does a great job at including picking my colors out for me! The prices are reasonable and the staff has great customer service! Ask for Joanne she is the best!

I really liked their attention but the quality was horrible. It’s been only two weeks and one of my nails is already off and my gel is breaking out. They all look as if I’ve had them for a month. Absolutely not worth their price. Not coming back again.

This was my first visit back to Fingertips Salon since Covid began in March. As a healthcare worker, I am extremely conscious of protective measures. Fingertips exceeded my expectations. Before I even got three feet from the door I was greeted and temperature scanned. I filled out a form about my present health. I noticed how much the shop has changed. While still lovely and relaxing, everyone was masked and most were masked, shielded!and gloved. Barriers were hung for all nail stations. Distancing was done without question. I was able to observe the cleaning of an area after a client had left. No surface was left without being cleaned, under the arms of the chairs the backs of the chairs and multiple surfaces. It was exemplary. I had my pedicure with Laura who owns the shop and I have known for years. We had a good discussion about what it takes for a business these days. Laura did tell me that there have been several patrons who arrived with an elevated temperature.They were politely asked to come back when their temperature normalized. Then it was just like I was there in January. The best pedicure ever and I felt safe, secure and had a bit of a vacation for that time. I am absolutely thrilled that I will be able to go back without question. Safety is paramount at Fingertips. I am indebted to them for their efforts. Thank you all so much! Loving my gel polish pedicure!!

Not a good experience. I will say the ladies were nice.It has been a while since I have gotten my nails done so I did not know how long to sit for drying. The gentleman that did my nails finished and said nothing. No thanks nothing. However the ladies were helpful. If you are going to come to this salon don’t get the gentleman with the glasses. To add he had a cut on his hand which I thought was unsanitary. At least wear a bandage. There are many salons in the area. I would go somewhere else.

Went here for my wedding nails. They were amazing! My appointment was right on time and she worked with me to get exactly the design I wanted! Joanne took so much time to make it perfect! Then she booked me for a follow up appointment to touch up for my big day! 100% amazing experience!

This is my usual spot for nails. I usually get the gel nail polish. It lasts me about 2 weeks before chipping. Staff is nice. Laura and Joanne are the most popular nail techs and they are great. Everyone is good.

I had a pleasant experience at Finger Tips on a Monday evening. I had a gel manicure, and the technician did a great job. She did three coats of gel polish which is something I notice and call-out because some places only do two. I talked to the owner and she was very sweet and talked about how she had many many customers who had been to her salon for 10+ years! I was impressed with the friendliness and work done here, and it was reasonably priced! I will return if I continue to work in this area.

Pricing was reasonable considering where I went to prior. My nail tech was Chris and he did a fantastic job! He did not rush me and was open to ideas I had and what I wanted to do with my fill in and pedicure! Thank you for being patient and doing an excellent job! I’ve found a new nail salon that I don’t dread walking into!

Don’t bother going here if you don’t have an appointment. I have been asked if I can come later many times. Sorry but no. I will go somewhere else because I am here now because I have the time now. Go at your own risk of waiting forever or being asked to come back 🤷🏼‍♀️

Best nail salon Ive been to in the Raleigh-Durham area!! They pay attention to detail and take their time with every service theyve provided me with. The gel manicure always lasts minimum 3 weeks which doesnt happen for me at other nail salons. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

Emily is simply the best. I have been very pleased with the staff and the service here, even if you dont have an appointment you will be whisked away quickly to your chair, I have never had to wait more than 10 min. They are thoughtful, honest, and have a consistent staff whom you can count on.

My daughter went in for a full set that was 62.00 dollars. That look absolutely horrible. When asked for a refund I was told “No” I explained that I did not live in Raleigh and that I’m completely not satisfied of how my daughter nails came out. Then to top it off one of the employees walked passed me like she was going for a walk only to go to my car to have a conversation with my daughter who is a minor. Saying “ that she wanted to have a conversation with her herself. They are very nasty people. And trust I have already filed a claim with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). And I’m also opening up a case in Small Claims court.

Ive been going here for 5 months.The owners are picky about who they will work on. Send most black people to Mina or Chris, which works in my favor because they do amazing work. Chris is by far the best in there. He takes his time and is super friendly. The prices are too high. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone. I can speak on this because Im a loyal customer and Ive seen things first hand. If you go, ask for Mina. Youll love her. I promise.

I come here ail the time and never had any problems until today. The guy with the glasses did my pedicure and was very rough with me and rushed my pedicure. Who can do a pedicure in 10 minutes? I believe the owner told him not to take his time. I believe I have been racially discriminated against and its not a good feeling. I always type very well but today I will not be tipping at all. I never leave reviews but I had to today based on how Im being treated. If your black dont come here

I moved from GA to NC 2wks ago and absolutely dreaded finding a new nail salon.. I took the chance on this one and LOVED IT ❤️.! I think my techs name was Chris, his arms are completely tatted!! He was nice and gentle w removing my gel and he did A1 on my new set. Took two hours bc the removal . But my nails were glowing when I left. $55 before tip, well worth it. Finger tips is my new nail salon!

I rarely leave reviews but have been appalled by their behavior. Ive been visiting this place for over an year now and had an average experience. But today I left the place in a very bad taste as the manager - Laura behaved AWFULLY RUDE. I hope the salon owner reads this & realizes the poor manners of her staff. She misbehaved twice; once while I chose the color & second when I enquired about a beverage. Her exact words were - Your hands are busy, you cant drink. & Youve already got a bottle of water. We serve one beverage per person. REALLY????? I did remind her of her tone and theres a way to speak to customers. All I did was try to make small talk, not even demand for another drink. My exact words were - Do you serve _____? Its a shame...theyve lost a loyal customer of over an year.

I’ve been going to this place since I’ve moved in the area, about 7 mos ago. The service is pretty good and they usually are able to see me pretty quick. However, they are very inconsistent with the prices even though I get the same services every time! I’m never able to guesstimate what my price will be because they are always throwing different prices at me with ridiculous explanations! I almost feel discriminated against. I go there merely because of convenience and because I’m usually satisfied but tonight was my last time! I wouldn’t recommend anyone go there if you’re looking for a consistent price.

I typical dont write reviews unless they are amazing or absolutely terrible. In this case the experience was terrible. I had the gentleman and he was terrible. I had a nail chip after 5 days of getting a Dip manicure, after that all my other nails started to chip. I am not going to ever get my nails here again, maybe if it isnt dip nail polish it might work but this was terrible.

Not even one star worthy. Horrible customer service. Called beforehand, the owner said there was availability, showed up, waited 30 minutes, and then she proceeded to tell us there were other customers that would be served before us. There are many nail options in the area, so you are better off going elsewhere.

My wife convinced me to get a pedi for the first ever, and I loved it! Everyone was really nice and the lady taking care of my feet definitely took her time, my feet felt great afterwards. The massage chairs are great, and the little cup of wine was a nice touch. Will definitely be coming back.

My daughter has just moved to Raleigh. We needed to get our nails and toes done so we went to the closest nail salon near her new place. When we walked in the nail technician sitting at the front desk looked up and just stared. She finally asked is she could help us. I asked if they did SNS. She turned her head and said something to another Tech and she asked is she could assist us. I asked again is they did SNS. She said yes. She then asked if our concern was the wait. We looked perplexed because we never said anything about a wait. She asked is we both we being serviced. I said yes. She then advises us that we could sit if we wanted too. The tone and level of interest were horrible. Both seemed as though we were not welcomed in their salon. I told me daughter that we were leaving. The owner needs to really address the lack of customer service.

I have gone here at least seven times. Half of those times my nails looked awesome! Unfortunately the other half I had major issues with my nails. Twice I had to go back to the nail salon and have them fix them. They did fix them, but I had to wait once and the other time the person was very rude. My nails broke and the polish peeled the day after I had them done, but she was upset she had to fix them. I paid 50 dollars and was upset that I was disrespected for wanting them fixed. I am a pretty easy-going when it comes to nails, so to get them fixed means they were in a bad state.

Everyone here is fantastic, but Kathy is my favorite. She always remembers who you are and how you like things done. The place is very clean, and everyone is friendly. I have only had an issue one time, and I came back the next day and they fixed it.

Run away from this place now !!!!Customer service is the worst thing ever ! The nail techs here cannot speak English and they get mad at you because they don’t understand what you’re saying! The place has bugs everywhere in the tools are very dirty! This place needs to get shut down immediately ! It’s pretty on the outside the inside is pretty too but is very dirty! I came to this place three times hoping to get a better result because it’s so convenient from my apartment every time I come here is the big disappointment! I really hope that this place get shut down!

It’s really not worthy of one star our experience we had the first day we had pedi’s the guy who did my friends nails talked constantly to the guy who was doing my nails only they did not realize we understood their language and he was talking about how big my friend was and laughing the guy doing me would look up at my friend then down at my feet not commenting.We had an app for a leg wax we were told by the manager 30 minutes she would be done with her pedi and we were next, one and a half hours later and two more walk in she told us she would do the leg wax in the chair,I approached her and said I am a private person and I am not comfortable with that how would you do the back of my legs ? She said, you stand up and turn around, my friend has MS and came in limping on a cane. She waved us off and started working on another girl we got up to leave she yelled I do you now in the room we said no thank you and walked outThis was to be my friends first waxing experienceFor every 2 steps forward the manager took 5 steps backwardsAnother big lady set for over an hour and finally walked out then called and told the manager she was prejudiceHow do I know I heard the conversation and after she hung up the manager ranted how dare her I not prejudice it’s her problem not mine.This is a sad sad lady I pray Karma will meet her someday.

How do you charge $55 for a nail job where the tech could not even get right ???? My first experience at this place was great! However, upon my return there was a very sweet nail tech who did my nails but unfortunately did not know what the HECK she was doing. I requested SNS coffin shaped nails which is what I usually get and she just had the HARDEST time trying to shape them. I attempted to address the shape of my nails as she did not know what I was saying to her and starts laughing smh. What made me upset is when I informed the manager how I was not happy with my shape and she persisted to explain to me why the shape looked the way it looked. Lady I have been getting my nails done for 26 years I believe I know how my nails are supposed to look at my request!! I felt sorry for the tech doing my nails because she seemed to be having a time trying to do my nails and the manager saw her struggling but she persisted to sit beside her paying bills instead of seeing a satisfied customer. I will not be returning and I also did not like how they persisted to speak in a different language as I felt they were speaking about me. I was charged $50 last time and this time was charged $55. The tech rings me up and asks me is that going to be $55 even? I looked at her and said YES MAAM $55 even. No I did not leave a tip because it looked like they already added the tip in there for a terrible job! They knew I was not satisfied with my service as my tech continued to apologize for how she did my nails. They are HIDEOUS and looks like a job done by a child!! I am at fault for continuing to even sit in my chair and pay the money out when my gut was telling me to not even let her finish. I tried my best to not be the rude customer. Will not be returning!!!! Beware future customers!! They try to come off as a luxurious place but looks are definitely deceiving.

Ive been there a few times to get pedicures and a manicure. Ive had good experiences there - some of the women are on the ruder side, but there are a few gems that work there and do good work.

I made an appointment for myself and 3 others to get pedicures. I arrived first and was seated in a chair on the end. When the rest of the party arrived they were seated on the opposite side of the salon. When asked if one could sit by me they were told no. So I sat alone for my mani and pedi. When I made the appointment I asked price for Mani and Pedi and was told $45. I was asked what kind of mani and pedi I wanted and looked on the paper that I was given and said the Classic (which $45 was written on the paper). When I went to pay it was $71. At no point in the entire mani pedi was I ever told that anything was extra. When I arrived and was told to pick nail polish, they asked if I wanted gel or regular I asked if it was extra. I was given no response. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I am from out of town. No one out of our group left paying less then $60.After I left, I called and spoke to the manager asking for a refund of the difference from the price I was told and the price I paid. She said she could give me a gift certificate for a manicure. I explained I was from out of town and that the gc would do no good. I asked to talk to the owner and was told that the owner does not talk to clients.

Broken chairs amd horrible service. Put me in two different pedicure chairs, both of which were broken. Left me with wet legs to air dry for 15 minutes with no employee anywhere while another chair opened up. I always ask for the most expensive service and tip the tech extraordinarily well. But not this time. This place is horrible.

The first time I went, I got a shellac pedi and they only my put one coat: Within a week, it was peeling. I only went the second time because a friend wanted to go. I got a shellac mani; the application was irregular in color, thick on the ends making it prone to peeling and honestly just not pretty. Also, I had skin they failed to trim on two nails. 6 days later I have two nails peeling, I won’t go back.Also, there is a guy there who has a complete negative attitude.

Best place in Raleigh, you will love your experience. This will be your perminant nail salon go try it!

The worst! I went there bc I scheduled an appointment and it was my first time. So I asked the lady how much it was and she said $30 for acrylic and I had mentioned painting it. On the phone I asked specifically if she could do a fade and paint nail art. When I got there she said she couldnt and no one could do that bc they didnt have the tools. Her name was Laura. She was awful bc every time the phone rang or there was someone to cash out she got up and left what she was doing to tend to that. In the middle of my service she did two walk in brow and lip waxes and started someone elses nails and was going back and forth. Needless to say it took her almost two hours to do something that should only be an hour. I was half tempted to leave before she painted them bc she was so all over the place. Then she had me pay and said so $40 telling me it was $5 for the tip and $5 for the glitter polish on top. So I was confused because she didnt say anything before. I Her work was fast and careless and the color I got on top smudged a little because she was in such a rush and didnt wait for it to dry in between. I am very disappointed and will be going back to Revive Foot and Nail Spa again across from Target in Brier Creek next time. I cannot believe the lack of customer service that she exemplified, especially since she probably was the manager.
