Very nice staff. However, my set was not the best result. Old polish was used that clumped up on my nail, nails were a bit sideways and the acrylic set ended up being very chunky. Lack of experience and technique.

I have been a client of Mimi‘s for almost a year and a half. After trying what felt like every nail tech in the city, I finally found Mimi through a mutual friend and never looked back. From day one, Mimi has always given me the best service that is not only great quality, but is also quick and efficient. I hate the way that some nail techs mold their acrylic too thick, but Mimi‘s acrylic is always thin and extremely strong. I work in healthcare and I’m very hard on my hands, but I have not had any issues with chipping or breaking since being a client of Mimi ‘s.She recently hired two new nail technicians (Jason and Kayla) and I had Jason do my fill-in and polish yesterday. I am very pleased with his work and love the design that he freestyled for me!This salon feels like family and I am so happy to have found them!

If I could rate this entire salon 10 stars I would. There isn’t one person there that didn’t greet and treat EVERY customer as if we were family! They take their time and did I mention my nails are drop dead gorgeous!

My first time going my nails were amazing a little expensive but amazing the second time was not satisfied at all but Im gonna go for a re do and let them know I didnt like that they dont clean your hands without charging a nice amount I thought when doing your nails they clean it up and get a nice tip. I work in a factory so washing my hands alot dead skin has to be cleaned from around my nails but the price whooooo. Ill let you know. 2/19/21 made it back and Im satisfied thank you red nails I was the last customer leaving at 7:10pmDidnt go back they cost to much and cant get it right.

I recently scheduled an appointment for 3 pedicures 1 day in advance. We all came in at 11am and we were warmly greeted and we were taken care of right away. We did not have to wait! The salon was clean, they are very professional, and they have alot of colors to choose from. The service was so good that my mother and sis in law got manicures.Thank you for the good service!

She is a firm believer that everyone’s nails are different, and works to tailor her techniques and your experience for what will work best for you and your nails and make sure your manicure lasts as long as possible. She pays very close attention to the little details that work together to make your nails the best they can be and I have always left completely satisfied. As a former nail technician, Im rather picky about nail salons. Red Nails is the only place in town I approve of and regularly receive services from. Super clean, family owned / operated business with lots of plants and great ventilation. Aside from those technical details the owner specifically is very talented, has caused me no pain nor damage whatsoever to my natural nails or cuticles (even when receiving enhancements). Her work lasts longer than any other place, with proper care and without (as Im naturally hard on my hands). Shes even built me a new big toe nail from scratch upon special request after losing half of it to a pair of heels. Pedicures are relaxing in high quality chairs and the staff always offer any convenience or adjustments you need to feel welcomed and comfortable. Took me way too long to write a review like this, but hey better late than never. Dont be daft by going somewhere else that will put your safety at risk. Feel content knowing your best interests are at heart with Red Nails/Mimi!

I went with my daughter, she was very happy with Mimi’s work. I can not feel the same after paying $140 USD in total for my daughter and I. Very disappointed with my manicure and pedicure. My nail polish looks like it was done in a hurry!No happy at all 😔

* I came to this salon due to my regular salon not being open.It was clean, and the staff was amiable. You can tell they are taking extra steps to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. Unfortunately, it was not what I was expecting for a 30 dollar pedicure. I also got my nails done, but my nails were not shaped correctly; they are all uneven. I paid 63 dollars in total only to get disappointed.I read all the reviews before coming here, so I am disappointed it wasnt what I expected based on the reviews.

I’ve been going to mimi’s for 5 months now. I’m VERY picky about my nails and like them a very specific way(been getting them done for 10+ Years) Mimi has always made sure that I am satisfied after every step (shaping, filling in, cutting cuticles, painting, etc). She takes her time to ensure I’m happy with them! She also ensures the place is always very clean and sanitized especially cause of covid! They sanitize all the seats after every single client! She also hired two new techs can’t speak for kaylas work(never used her) but Jason was able to amp up my mani with some designs and nail art which I LOVED! The best part about Mimi(the owner) is that she truly goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. I work 10-6:30/7 the hours that they are open and couldn’t make it in on the weekend for a fill I desperately needed and she opened the shop up EARLY at 9 am for me so that I could get my nails done. What other nail salon would offer that kind of customer service? None. Mimi Is super sweet, thoughtful and an amazing nail tech! She always lets me text her last minute and somehow squeezes me in for an appt between my CRAZY work schedule!

My mom and I have been going to Red Nails for years. I have tried a couple of other places with friends, but they often feel impersonal and are loud. In contrast, Mimi and her staff always make you feel right at home and so welcomed! The salon is nice and relaxing. Mimi clearly has an indoor plant obsession, just like me! 😆 It makes for a very peaceful environment. All of the ladies are so sweet, friendly, and attentive. I love catching up with them. Tee is the nail technician I see most often and she gives just wonderful hand massages.I love this place! They may not have as many colors as larger salons, but the service cant be beat. 😊

I have found this business within my first year of living in NC. After several “so-so” experiences at other places I made an appointment at this Red Nails. I work in IT and present in meetings quite often. The team here made my hands match my profession. I was so amazed I made a later appointment for a manicure - so relaxing. I’m now a regular and anytime friends or family come to visit this is one of the “must see” stops. I’m a very happy customer now 4+ years and going.

I just had one of the best manicures ever. Being one day before a holiday, I did not expect to be able to get an appointment. They managed to fit me in. And, when they realized they were running a little bit late, they called me let me know. So not only did I get a great manicure, my puppies got an extra 15 minutes of playtime, and I experienced excellent customer service. Thank you Mimi!

I started going to this salon over five years ago when I had a rough experience at another salon.... I have gone back to see Mimi ever since! No matter how rough I am on my nails she makes them look perfect! Her entire staff is amazing and I would recommend them every time! Last time I went in, I wanted to do something a little extra and different and gave Mimi NO Notice at all - she still managed to squeeze all this in for me free hand! They look a little blue in the photo and may appear mermaid like but I definitely feel more like a dragon, as intended... All thanks to this amazing salon and Mimi! LOVE!

Mimi did an AMAZING job! I’ve been in Raleigh for a year and had yet to find a nail salon that I loved; well I’ve now found my home. Mimi was extremely attentive and asked me a lot of questions to find out exactly how I like my nails to look. I got a full set of acrylics, and 2 weeks out they still look awesome! Great service. Mimi, Tee and Kim are all very nice and do excellent work. The salon is attractively decorated and does not have any strong odors like some salons have. I live 30 minutes away and will continue to drive the distance for the excellent service and the beautiful nails.

Moving from NYC, I struggled to find a nail salon in Raleigh area that could provide me with the service and variety I was looking for. I walked into this salon one day to inquire about their services and was immediately greeted with warmth. I decided to give this salon a trial while I was on my search to find a nail salon that was a good fit for me and needless to say, I found my home. Mimi and her team are warm and friendly. My damaged nails were nourished back to health and Mimi kept me informed throughout the entire process of the rejuvenation period. I feel like they genuinely care about their clients wellbeing, and that to me is excellent customer service.

I have been knowing MiMi for a while now and she is absolutely amazing! She is the sweetest nail tech I know, and she really takes pride in her nails and also making the customer happy. Her priority is making the customer happy and not trying to make money off of you. I’m so glad that I’ve met her! When I need an emergency appointment she finds a way to squeeze me in. This place deserves more attention. After trying out a bunch of big fancy nail salons and not being pleased with results, I took a chance with a tiny shop. Was pleasantly surprised and became a regular. Not only are the service, friendliness, and care of the staff top-notch, but the quality of work always comes out flawless.
