Celeste and Tamika theyre wonderful people to work with if youre getting started with purchasing a vehicle now that some employees have been removed I think that the business would be so much better it was a pleasure doing business

Celeste and Tameka (spelling) are the best part of this business. Some of the other employees are rude and should not be handling customer issues. And after reading some of the other reviews I want to say yes, I am reviewing the correct business. Only after some account issues involving a 3rd party( that collected payments for a while ) did I even have any problems. I hope processes are reviewed because other than that, great place to buy from.

Car was fairly decent. Overall, the service was mediocre, at best. Also charged for an extra days rental, and didnt have mydeposit refunded. They are a sham with poor business principles. Thank God their re talking days are over. One star is still an overstatement.

Sold my friend a very beat up WRX that had thousands of dollars of unknown repairs. No transparency on these issues at all. Could be considered scam artists...

Went to this company about a pick up truck. They told me to come to the office the truck is still available. When I arrived to test drive the vehicle they told me that someone was driving it. So, I thought she meant test driving it. She said, No Its being driven by someone that either works there or a customer took it for a couple of days. 🤔 Ok, so then she asked for my number so she can text me when the truck comes back... smh... Never received a text. But I would not buy from them anyway. Customer service not good at all. They dont have any type of organization/ communication skills with their staff.

Have been doing business with Fun Cars rentingsince last year and it has always been a joy and a pleausre! Anytime I have a concern the owner always addresses them and I always get great cars from them and they are always flexible, honest, and have great communication! Anytime a vehicle needed maintenance, they always gave me a loaner until the vehicle I rented was serviced! I love Fun Cars and they are always my #1 for renting!

Will sell you a car with bad problems and not tell you. It had a bad valve cover and caused the turbo to burn oil very badly, cost over $400 to repair.

I used Fun cars to rent a vehicle to visit my grandmother out of state. I am attending a funeral in a week and wanted to use them again and called to make a reservation when I spoke to Tameka she was very nasty over the phone. I guess they have changed their mileage policy as of lately bc to drive the same distant I did less than 6 months ago is now not available, and by her words would be a waste of time and money to rent with Fun cars. The car that I was rented originally had issues with the tires and I had to stop multiple times to put air in the them and had expired tags. I thought I would give them a second chance because of the low prices and convenient family location but I will not be a return customer after today and will be spending my money with a bigger company who can accommodate me better. Huge letdown !!

Several months ago I heard an advertisement on the radio about this business. To say that I was thrilled is an understatement. I immediately navigated my vehicle to the address and met with all three owners. I was overjoyed that this was an all female owned business, as I love female entrepreneurship! The owners we very pleasant and one took me on a tour of the facility. I sent my fiance to the business to secure a vehicle as he needed a work car.After providing the owners with $1,000.00 for a down and the completion of obtaining insurance and a NC license, he went to pick up the vehicle. Now, the vehicle was a 2005 Kia Amanti. There was not a huge expectation, however, we were shocked with the experience. After roughly 90 minutes, my fiance was able to leave the property with the vehicle, about 2/10 of a mile down the road the wheel came off and the rear view mirror. He actually almost collided with another passing car. He walked back to the business and was told that he could come back and get the vehicle later after they fixed it. After a quick back and forth with the mechanic that was acting as a representative in the owners absence he was able to get his money back.MY CONCERNS:1. There was no checks and balances in the owners absence. It was apparent that the car has not been test driven at all. The car did have evidence of collision on the driver side so additional inspection should have certainly been priority.2. Employees should run business like owners in their absence.3. I was appalled that we were advised that we couldnt get the down payment back because the paperwork has already been completed. I was also appalled that another car on the lot was not offered.MY TAKEAWAY:Economically this is a difficult time for our nation. The working man has been hit hard both financially and physically. When I think that this mechanical malfunction could have happened on the interstate or a busy roadway it grieves me and make me thankful. We have to be care with all purchases because ultimately we assume the liability. As you can see accidents happen in a blink of an eye.Would I say not to shop at this business, no I wouldnt say that at all. However, I would say hold owners accountable, ask questions, test drive the vehicle, ask for a warranty and jut be safe.

Honestly wouldn’t Recommending anyone buying a car from them. I can’t speak on renting cars because I haven’t rented a car from them But purchasing my vehicle with them has been a pain, a waste of money time and hindering me from my daily duties. Not only did they sell me a 2007 Chevy equinox knowing that the vehicle is not functioning right. They said it passed inspection but honestly I can’t see how but then again when they do their own inspections in their own shop. They open my eyes to see how it passed inspection I don’t trust them and I should not have trusted them from the beginning. When I first told them about the issue I told them that I will get the part and I would like for them to fix it she was all for helping me find the part helping me get a cheaper price and everything. She even asked me to send over what was wrong with the With the truck after I got it looked at by Pep Boys. I did that send it over and got no response. No email back no call backs or anything it took for me to go up there and show them the truck and what’s going on with it even after I have got the radiator fixed. When I went up there she was very rude and nasty not like how she was when I first purchased the truck or first spoke to her about the truck being messed up. She told me there is not her problem and to go take it to whoever can fix it I understand I bought the car as is but for them to be so money hungry that will put somebody else’s life in danger is wrong. There is no way that that truck Should have passed in inspection with everything that’s going wrong with it. Not a legit legal inspection now I’m stuck paying for a truck every other week that I cannot drive It’s jus been sittin in my driveway. Now it’s there in their lot and it hasn’t been a month yet. This the first day of them giving me the run around and I’m sure it won’t be the last. So I took matters into my own hand It’s getting some investigating going on with these cars. They are not here in best interest for the people they are money hungry snakes. One thing I do know I will not allow this to happen to anyone else. And if I review gets deleted it will be back. Everywhere.

My Son purchase his first car from Fun cars.These people are cons. His convertible top is leaking and they refused to fix it..Shame on them. The part and repair cost you quoted was incorrect also a part of your scam. Its so sad he was treated this way because he loves his first car purchase.

Do not buy a car from fun cars, you will regret it. They put on a good show but they dont care about you. They just flip junk to make a quick buck. If you do decide to buy one make Shure you have extra money for a tow truck and repairs. I wish i never heard of them, it was the worst mistake I ever made. I cant stress enough to not buy from them. DONT DO IT ! They will probably leave a false response also to try to make them sound good. Dont fall for it.

Hi everyone I read a few of the reviews and the customers with one star comments are correct.I purchased a vehicle 09/2019 and have issues with it now and has been label unsafe to drive by the Ford dealership when I took it to repair another issue with the truck . I spent good money for this truck and cant drive it . I cant understand how it past inspection . I will seek legal advice and ask Diane Wilson to come and inview me Wtvd 11,so this can help someone else.

My nephew brought a car from this business & there failed to mention that the roof was leaking and now he has water all over the floor of his car. I would post a picture but it will not allow me too. I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star...

Ms Celeste was AMAZING on July 4th. I rented the tesla through Turo. The car that was meant to be rented wasnt brought back in time so she rented her personal tesla to me for the same price,!She was the BEST. I definitely have recommended others & will be returning to rent more of her amazing cars.
