Superb!!! That’s the best way I know to describe my experience. Let it be noted that I waited 5 days to write this review to give Johnson Lexus a chance to prove themselves professionals or otherwise and they absolutely impress me and continue to do so. If you don’t have time to read this entire review than take my word for it... they are TOP NOTCH from sales to management to finance to service to parts! A+ DealerI arrived 1 hour before close on a Saturday and was walking the lot alone when Dave Mehan from sales approached me to help! He was not aggressive and just wanted to help with zero pressure to buy. We test drove the 2 cars I came to see... I explained what I wanted while driving around and he listened and committed to making things work. During the short discussion on price and trade in the Sales manager struck up a conversation and was honest and helpful as well. I ended up trading my truck in and buying a car. In finance, again very low pressure but super educational, we went over all my options and what suited my life. Keep in mind this is all well after close. Dave discovered the car was missing the floor mats and offered to get me new ones and upgrade them to all wethers but I’d have to wait a couple days as he had to order from parts department... I also discovered that there was a small hum from the passenger side I wanted looked at. I reached back out to Dave on Sunday and he promptly responded and got things moving for me.Here’s where parts & service comes in... Today (Thursday) I took my car in after a scheduled service check. Bill Ingram greeted me, was professional, and I could tell experienced. Time expectations were set and the humming was diagnosed and fixed in 2 hours. I was charged nothing. My car was cleaned and detailed and those all weather mats were installed.This is the level of service that is unparalleled in the industry. I worked for a dealership for several years so I know exactly what the experience is supposed to be like. These guys go above and beyond and you can trust that when they say they will do something they WILL do it. I am impressed, feeling valued, and certainly WONT ever go anywhere else. I touched every division/department in this dealership and I can assure you it is extremely well managed and they care! Eb Udofia help us with our trade on our 2018 rx and found us a better than new CPO 2019 Gx 460. Eb and the lexus used car team Greg Fuller and Jenny Burkes made this a smooth, painless and wonderful experience. We recently purchased a used vehicle and was treated like we were purchasing a brand new vehicle. The sales staff and others were all very professional, courteous, and well dressed. The dealership was very clean and organized. Beings we had been working with our salesman the process of trading in and paperwork was very easy and quick. There was no last minute haggle on trade in or hidden fees. The vehicle was as clean and as advertised with no hidden issues. Overall a 5 star rating for this dealership and staff.

Very pleasant experience at this dealership. Went in to test drive and my wife and I left with a very nice RX350. The staff was very professional and treated us with the utmost respect. I had been searching for a used Ford Expedition for a few weeks and came across one at Johnson Lexus. I called the dealership Saturday evening and set up an appointment to test drive the following Monday. I arrived at the dealership and was assisted by David Coleman. The test drive went well and we sat down to discuss numbers. There was some back and forth, as always when buying a vehicle, but we settled on a price. I had secured my own financing, but the finance manager (Jenny) was able to get a matching offer from one of their lenders, which is what we decided on. The rest of the process went smoothly and David answered any questions we had and was conscientious of our time. We were not able to have the car detailed (although it already was in great condition), but we were told to come back another time and it would be taken care of. They also did not know the code for the keyless entry, but David has been working to get that information and has kept me updated on the process. Overall, this was the most hassle free experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle and I would gladly return to this dealership again.

First off, they did not rush us when we showed up on the lot. We had to talk and look at cars by ourselves. Then after about 15-20 mins the salesman came out and was very courteous and friendly. If I remember correctly his name was Tod Eyl. My wife and I had been shopping around for an SUV for a while and every single dealership we went to didn’t seem to care about us just the money. Tod seemed like an honest man to us and the business model we observed seemed like they cared about customer satisfaction over a quick buck. Those qualities, along with a great vehicle and good price, lead us to buy from them. Even if you aren’t looking for a Lexus, they are worth talking too.
Long story short, Ive been with Lexus for 13 years and theyve never disappointed. The car itself is like no other Ive driven. The sales people are attentive and knowledgeable, as well as the service reps. Im treated so well when I call or go there for service. The place sparkles with cleanliness. Unfortunately, my car is on its way out, but I truly wish I could be part of the Lexus family forever.

Unorganized. Drove from Pinehurst to take a test drive after texting dealer for 2 days. After arrival we were told the car was sold and we could not test drive it. Total waste of time. Know thy inventory……. Is this how you treat people who would like to spend $113,000 on a car?

I went into a sales agreement to buy Preowned Lexus LX570 by looking at the vehicle online and having sales rep text me the pic.When my family and I went to the dealership to pickup the vehicle, there were a series of things we found out about Johnson Lexus of Raleighs business practices. The leather seats were spray painted by their detail shop to conceal the damaged leather, the carpet was faded from attempts to bleach out the stains, they attempted to conceal with all weather mats, body panel repainted, tail gate had a ~ 16 wide area where the attempted to conceal a damage with blob of paint. Crack on the dashboard, missing knob on the console, non-functioning automatic tail gate, dirty seat belts. These are unethical business practices, which they carry out at their dealership. That is, painting body panel in the back of their dealership, painting leather seats to cover the flaws, which you will only discover few months down the road when the leather would appear to be dirty and wont clean out.How could a dealership certify this vehicle under the guidelines of Lexus? Not sure what else they concealed under the hood.I asked the salesman to call his manager, Jeff so I could show him the faults on the LX570. Jeff stepped out of his office and met me by the vehicle stating that he was already aware of all these things. The carpet would cost him $5,000 to replace. And this vehicle was in a very bad shape to being and it took a lot to get it here. So why didnt the dealership disclose this to me before dragging me and my family to the dealership?NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME. STOP SPRAY PAINTING LEATHER TO CONCEAL WORN OUT LEATHER.

Monica was my salesperson, and she was way more than simply helpful. She is a genuinely kind person who cares and you immediately know that its not a salesperson façade - it is who she is. Hi. I got my 2018 Lexus RX350L SUV for 15K service at Dealership on Friday 20th Feb. Paid $118 for service. They mentioned they rotated tires, vacuum and cleaned my car, top up all fluids etc. When I came back home and opened hood to clean my car, guess what - they did not top up any fluids. Coolant was close to low level. Steering Fluid at half. Seems they did not top up fluid.This is very disappointing that one of the top dealership in state - Johnson Lexus charging customers for the work, which actually they did not perform. I am not sure what other work they mentioned they did, were actually done. I am kind of losing trust on this Dealership.Very Disappointing experience at Johnson Lexus Dealership at Raleigh

Being an out of state buyer, I required a lot of initial communication about the vehicle I was interested in. Travis Howard was incredibly attentive and honest - he even went so far as to snap pictures of the small defects I couldnt see from the pictures online and share them with me. After I drove 4 hours to see it, Travis made me feel appreciated and valued for bringing my business from so far away. The whole process was as smooth as you could hope for, considering the nature of the purchase. 10/10 would work with Johnson Lexus if given the opportunity again!
Zack Was awesome.But the 2 Reception lady at the front wasn’t nice. Seem like they don’t have to help us when we went in to buy car. Maybe because of our enhancement, on that day non of us dress nice, we just dress like regular to go around and look for a car. One of my brother he just came from work ask mechanic he got his work cloths on.When we enter the front the lady at the front act like “ why y’all people here?” I see that from her eyes!Then she ask “what can she do for us?” but she ask with unhappy. Maybe because of our Asian look and dressing weird, they give really weird look to us.But after that Zack was helping us greatly.

I have a great experience twice working with Gavin Sherk. I bought two ES 300h from this location and I must say that the dealership bends over backward to help you get the best value. From what I have observed they care to give every prospective customer / deal attention right from initial process till drive out. Despite having bought the same model twice they emphasized me to take advantage of new car orientation where their personnel took time to answer every question. Reason for buying twice? We own two Lexus. At Johnson Lexus of Raleigh, everyone there is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The service is outstanding. Plus you can get a free loaner vehicle while yours is being repaired.From Chris who has been our service advisor since 2009, Craig and Michael who help you learn everything about your automobile. Service Manager Reggie and our wonderful salesperson. It is the only Lexus dealer around. People drive from the shores Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina for service. In a few years we plan on moving to Myrtle Beach as well but we.plan on still making the trip to Johnson Lexus because they are family!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful salesman who helped me Clinton Nichols. I walked into the dealership on a nasty rainy day and he reached out to me right away, with no issues, acknowledging that I was a woman alone looking for the right car. I was treated with respect kindness and an absolute understanding of what I was looking for. I can’t say that for other salesmen at other dealerships. Clinton was honest, straight forward and beyond personable. I had many questions and he answered them all. I felt like he completely understood my every need and delivered the perfect car to me. I would have given this experience at Johnson Lexus a 5 except for the final financial paperwork gentleman at the end. He seemed put out that my husband and I didn’t extend warranties and was certainly not friendly or personable. Other than that my Raleigh Johnson Lexus experience was awesome. Matt Davis was exceptional in assistance on site, answering questions, discussing features, and ultimately, even scoping inventory at their Southpoint location once he realized they did not have what we were looking for on their lot. Before leaving, he identified two options that checked all the boxes on our list and text us so wed know what to ask/look for once we made the short trip over. And on the drive to the other lot, he sent additional options. Only wish he couldve earned the commish!

Service department needs improvement. Highly disappointed with my last two visits. I leased a car in Oct 2019 and the sales experience was phenomenal! I assumed I’d get the same level of service in return from the service department but it hasn’t been the case. Went in today and my advisor Marky was very rushed & didn’t appear to have time to answer my concerns. He told me they found a nail in my tire & quoted me $250. I asked if it could be fixed he said no and left. ( took it to discount tire, they fixed it free of charge) This experience stood out to me because I had this exact same experience a few months ago, rushed and poor service from him. It felt as if I didn’t belong there. I spoke to Kevin a manager who stated he would switch out advisors for my next visit. When it was time to pay the young lady going over my paperwork mentioned that they had removed a dent via my dent repair warranty. I was shocked because I wasn’t away of any dent on my car nor did the “advisor” tell me this when he came to tell me about my tire and what other services they had done. I asked for pictures of this dent because I didn’t believe it was there and was told that they’d email them to me. A few hours later the manager called me to again apologize for the experience. I also expressed my concerns to him about this “dent” that was filed as a claim that no one showed me while there or could provide pictures for. He then agreed it was strange they didn’t inform me of the dent and stated he would look at the pics email then to me and call me back. I got the pics & I can’t really see any dent but I’ll take their word. I’m more concerned with not being told about the repair till after it was done. What if I didn’t have warranty? Would they have repaired then charged me? Truly expected a better experience. I do appreciate the manager Kevin following up and trying to make it right. Also last visit they sanitized the car when you got out and when you got back in. I didn’t see that happening today. Not sure if procedures have changed but Covid is still here. Honestly not looking forward to a next service from these guys.
Marcus Baldwin made my experience at Lexus a very positive one. I have always bought my cars at Fred Anderson, so this was a completely different experience for me. He made the process of purchasing the 2020 ES300h, a very fun and educational one. He never exhibited any of the high pressure techniques many salespeople use. A little background about me first - I buy 3-4 new cars a year from a dealership. I spent 15 years working at new car dealerships, and still work in the car business. I like to think I know the ins/outs, the goods/bads, and generally what to expect.With that said - I was blown away yesterday with my purchase at Johnson Lexus. From my first contact through the website, the follow up phone calls, to finally heading there to complete the purchase, to even some post purchase concerns, the sales tandem of Jackson and Todd is simply unparalleled by anything Ive ever experienced.I purchased an off-brand car from them (Audi), but was still treated like I was their #1 priority throughout the entire process. The car was better than described and the deal was basically a wholesale price with a retail experience. Post sale service, while minimal thus far, has FAR exceeded my expectations and its very apparent that someone high up in the food chain here has very strict/professional guidelines as to what type of car they want their name on.And lets not forget the young lady (Megan) helping with insurance - extremely professional and proficient. And Brayden in finance got me in and out of the finance office quicker than Ive ever imagined. The receptionist up front was extremely courteous and a joy to chat with, as was everyone else I encountered in this store.The next time Im car shopping, which wont be long, my first look will be on this dealer groups website. If they dont have it, Ill ask if they can get it. They are well worth a look if you are in the market for something.
