Funny, I came here by accident! I was looking for another local shop.Sometimes mistakes are good. Everyone was welcoming and I dug the vibe there. Some shops are quiet as a mouse. At R&S, everyone was talking to everyone. Super friendly.Chris gave me a superlative cut and shave; but I also would not hesitate to go to anyone there!Great place, price, and service...you cant ask for anything more!

A perfect place to go local. very friendly and great cuts to go with.. Im a regular here, they give cuts to kids as well.. they take cash only so please be aware of that . My only gripe is, I wish they were open on Sundays too.

Rich is one of the best, Ive been through several barbers before him and none of them were good enough for me to want to go back. I moved from the Quincy area (about 20 minutes away now), but will go back to Rich every month to get a cut. Its even easier now that I can just schedule an appointment!

I was in a couple days ago and sat in (Tiffanie or stephanie the blonde woman ) chair, I was a little hesitant because the only time a woman cut my hair it was not a pleasant experience . I just moved to the area and really needed a cut so I sat in her chair anyway, I get a bald fade so I’m not going to lie I was a little nervous. I’ve been told my hair isn’t the easiest to cut, this was by far the best haircut Hands down I’ve ever had in my life, even my wife noticed and complemented when I got home! I will definitely be back to see her!

Been going to Roccos for roughly a year now and have always left with a quality cut. I was living in Quincy, but moved to S. Weymouth in April and still pop over to Roccos for a cut even though Im sure I could find several closer/more convenient shops. Rich, the owner, is a professional and stand-up guy who values customer service, warmly greeting each customer and making sure that youre taken care of, even upon the occasional case where a customer may confuse their appointment date/time where the staff will even stay after hours to accommodate. Booking an appointment on their website couldnt be easier and is recommended for expedited service upon arrival.

I love this place. Great haircuts. I go with a bald fade which anyone who gets a fade knows its tough to find a good barber who does it right. My son whos 4 loves going there and has been since his first cut. They have a little race car for him to sit in. I also would highly recommend this shop if you have any family members who might be handicap or I brought my father in-law in who is recovering from a stroke and is wheel chair bound. They were great in making him feel right at home. They put out a ramp helped transfer him into the chair it was a great experience. Top notch place. Old school family shop.

I was a regular at Islington Barber but a person that cut my hair moved on from Islington to Rocco and Sons Barbershop. I started to go to Roccos when I found out that my friend that left Islington Barbers was working there. He told me when I found out to make a reservation. I was a little amazed that Roccos had a reservation system for people who would like a specific time that they could come in. I used the reservation and also was able to choose which barber I would like to cut my hair. Of course I picked my friend and barber Josh. It was great finding the place that he works at because Josh does some really good haircuts which is the reason why I dont mind driving a few more minutes than normal to get a haircut. I also noticed that the barbers working there all had people in there chairs getting cuts and they looked really good. I like going to places like that where the barbers dont get you in and you out quickly because they take there time cutting your hair to make sure that you get what you want without feeling like theyre rushing to get you out. Of course I would recommend that you get reservations considering with the pandemic happening in our world right now that you wont have to wait in your car until someone is available to cut your hair. Also the place is very clean and the staff are very friendly!!!

I’ve been going to Rocco’s my entire life, it has always been my barbershop. When Richard came in, and eventually took over the shop, he made the place even better. All of the barbers are great, they know their craft well. If you’re a regular like me, or a first time customer, you’ll be treated well and leave feeling fresh.

I am a female who’s fairly new to the short hair scene. After a few not so amazing maintenance cuts at a salon, I was encouraged to find a barber! I was wary of doing this in the first place because of stories I had heard about women being turned away from barbershops. After reading some reviews I decided to give Rocco and Sons a try and I’m so happy that I did! Nobody batted an eye when I walked in the first time and I was greeted as warmly as every male who I saw walk in. I have been there three times now and will never go anywhere else. Both Felicia and Richard are wonderful, professional and can execute a perfect fade (I’m sure they all can but I’ve only had Richard and Felicia thus far)! I have some volume up top too which they trim up perfectly every time. They’re super accommodating- they ask all of the right questions about what you’d like done, they take their time to perfect each cut, and I never get that awkward/forced small talk vibe when I’m in the chair, just friendly conversation. And for $18?! I’d give them 10 starts if I could. Give this place a try and you won’t regret it!

I started going in to Richards shop with in 6 months of him taking over. I’ve literally been there every 2 weeks since! All of the barbers are very experienced and although I typically go to Felicia now, who does an incredible job with my work battered beard, Richard and Josh have both cut my hair as well. Always a wonderful atmosphere and if the conversations with the barbers don’t keep you entertained the others customers probably will! Richard, the current owner and lead barber, is one of the most skilled, competent, and pleasant barbers I’ve had my hair cut by. He knows exactly what I want, he will keep doing fixes if requested without showing disgruntlement, and will ensure you leave satisfied no matter how bus the shop is. He’s also very welcoming and fun to chat with. The atmosphere is down to earth and basic. Will definitely continue to come here even if I relocate to a farther place!

What an awesome barber shop. I stopped by one morning and got a great cut from the owner. The shop was cool(summer!), small(a good thing!), and efficient. Even with a bit of a wait, I was in and out of the shop in under an hour. Thats extremely efficient. One thing to remember is that they are cash only. So remember to bring some money before you show up. Im definitely going back here to get my hair cut.

I came to get my hair trimmed I have curly longer hair the barber starts to cut my hair and claims I have dirty hair and asked me when the last time I washed it was and then later on says my hair is clean and that it is thick the barber seemed very unexperienced with longer curly hair and also claimed I was the thickest hair he ever cut I wouldn’t recommend going there at all if you have longer hair he cut way too much off when I asked for a trim

Just got a haircut for the first time here, and I was taken care of by Richard. He took his time, checked the fade countless times to make sure it was perfect. The results spoke for themself, and I honestly think it was the best haircut Ive ever had. Hot neck shave felt great. Definitely coming back here and the price was very fair ($15). I was so happy I tipped Richard $10, hes the man you want cutting your hair.

What a gem! First, I was greeted like family.Henry, the owner told me he just bought the shop like 2 years ago which has been there for well over 50 years. Classy and spotless clean. Just what you would expect. Very welcoming and comfortable. Street parking but there is always plenty. Its diagonally across from DD.A new barber named Rob gave me a great taper and cleanup. After 3 weeks, my hair grows all over in different directions but didnt phase him at all. I knew it was going to be a good cut because the young guy before me came out great too. Rob doesnt like to rush so just tell him if you are in a hurry.Cant believe I found this place!
