First time I walk in there to get my son a haircut. The men in there are super nice and super hard working, making sure they don’t waste time because they always get customers weather by appointment or walk-ins. Super fun and friendly environment. The second you walk in the door, youre being welcomed in just like a family member. The staff are all top notch and very good at what they do! Haircuts are ALWAYS consistent and they finish it up with a nice straight edge on the back of the neck before youre done! Alda Barbershop has their own app you can download to book appointments with your barber and its very user friendly and convenient.....or if youre old school just call them, they are always happy to take in customers. This place is the true definition of neighborhood barbershop and I highly recommend anyone looking to check out Alda!

My boyfriend goes there sometimes and it’s nice but he always says they go shorter than he asks for each time. It’s kind of annoying because he always hopes that he gets what he wants this time bc it’s great quality but it ends up being too short for the curls he has, so styling it the way he does until it grows out doesn’t look right . I’d advise him to try elsewhere next time.

A friend recommended Alda a while ago--Elias specifically. I see him; hes a really great barber and is super friendly. They open at 7 am weekdays; I go around 8 and have never had to wait. I went once in the afternoon and had a small wait but nothing serious. They seem really careful about sanitizing, wearing masks, etc.

I live in Mansfield Massachusetts and I travel to Quincy just to get my haircut here. It is extremely hard to find a traditional Barber Shop that keeps up with current trends and services. Besides getting a haircut, you can get beard Services done and lots of other male grooming that you wont find elsewhere. The barbershop is clean, all Barbers following safety protocols, and there is even an app you can download to make your wait minimal. It is extremely useful. I have a teenager and a toddler and I bring them both here as well. I highly recommend going to Alda Barbershop if you want to look good! I cant thank these guys enough!

I’ve been taking my son Marcus there for the past four years and we love his cuts! All three guys are excellent, he usually sees Tarek. The shop has expanded, been remodeled, they’ve added an app for easier planning on timing since we started going there... they just keep getting better!!! They are all very friendly, professional and do a great job and they are reasonably priced. Highly recommend, but use the app for an easy wait list.

Best barber shop in the south shore, I’ve been getting my haircut here since they opened and now I come with my own son. Don’t like to wait hours for a haircut, no problem they have an app that you could use to get on a virtual waitlist. You can run all your errands prior to your haircut, get an extra hour of sleep or just lounge on your couch. The app will send you a text message alert when it’s your turn. I totally recommend. Extremely professional and time efficient which is huge for me. No appointments only walk ins . They just added a service when you walk in you check in and gives you an approximate of how long your wait time, so if you want to run some errands and not lose your place in line.I would highly recommend my barber Elias to anyone. Called and asked how long they were open until. I was told 2pm. I show up at 1:20 and they have 2 people waiting and 3 barbers cutting. I was looking for a quick line up which would take 15 minutes. I was told to come in when I called 30 min prior. But when I arrived, they told me they couldnt take me.Unprofessional. Should of told me that on the phone when I called. Waste of time.

Great haircut at a good price. Everyone wore masks at all yimes, sanitized everything after each customer and used disposable aprons for each customer.

I rarely do reviews but ALDA Barbershop has just installed a new waiting system that really takes the hassle of knowing your place in line out of the equation.Today I entered my name and number into their iPad. I received a text with a link to a website that tells me my place in line in real time.I had 11 people in front of me so I knew that I could run out for lunch and be back in time to get my haircut.I was able to go home, make my lunch, eat it and keep track of my place in line the entire time. When I was 4th in line I made my way back to the shop and waited about 5 minutes after that.This was such an amazing experience that I had to write a review.We all know it’s hard to find a good barber that always gives you a good cut. It’s frustrating trying places out and not getting what you were looking for. My friend brought me to this place 2 years ago and I was blown away. Been going here ever since and the new waiting system has improved this experience even more.Great cuts, productive wait and awesome service.What more can you ask for?

Excellent barbershop with three good guys. On-street parking may be tricky depending on the time of day / available spaces. Prices are on point. They offer many services and do not rush you, even when its busy. I get a haircut and straight razor trim / edge for my beard.

Today was my first visit to Alda. I am very satisfied with my haircut. I have actually received the exact cut that I have asked many barbers to do but that few, it seemed, could deliver. Alda has no problem doing so. I might add that the people are friendly, the service is speedy, and the prices excellent: 25% less, in fact, than the shop that I had been frequenting before. Finally-- Alda has embraced the age of information technology fully; their on-line scheduling app is slick and very useful. May I say thank you to the owner and crew of this fine shop. I will be a return customer. And I will join the many people I have met with good things to say about Alda.

Outstanding haircut experience and at 25$ well worth the price. My last haircut just last week was with Elias. I’ve had haircuts by all of the very skilled barbers there but I have to say he is my favorite. I particularly like his attention to detail and he’s just a nice guy he gives off a great energy he’s very positive he ask interesting questions but he doesn’t get nosy he’s very good at his job he knows the psychology behind it and he treats people and makes people feel like you’re an old friend even if you’ve just met him. Of course he gives an amazing haircut haircut that rival anything you could get on Newberry Street in Boston in my opinion. I don’t live in Quincy but I travel there just to get a haircut from my favorite barber. 👍🏼👍🏼
