Great Haircuts and a very cool atmosphere, every barber is good. I take a star off because it’s a little pricey, very long waits (before pandemic), and limited parking (street please is 1 hour and the wait is usually longer). Before the pandemic it was walk-ins only so you were waiting. That being said it’s still my 2nd favorite barber shop around. W&R is the spot to go to though.

Vito is one in a million, this is an old school shop hidden inside a modern up to date place. The guys are great, the service is great and the hot lather neck shave is the grand finally. Great place for a great hair cut.

Always friendly! They use an app system to let you see who is available and wait times. App will text you when close to your turn and when to enter the shop. Vinny, Rob, and Vito all great guys family owned. Would recommend Goodfellas to anyone looking for a good traditional barber shop.

My 12 year old son was about 4 months over due for a hair cut due to the pandemic. I called to make an appointment, expecting to have to wait a day or so, but was told to head over now and they would get us right in. We waited less than 5 minutes and despite the mop of hair my son had, we were in and out; and my son looked like a handsome new person. The shop was welcoming, clean and professional. I will be taking my son back again!

Great barbers, I personally like Seth who has a line whenever I go to get a hair cut. I feel the price is reasonable, but some people will say $25 is a bit expensive. I have been supporting this barber shop for over 2 years now and the quality is as good as ever. The new system of booking online makes it much more transparent on how long you can expect to wait for your barber. Also be warned about getting haircuts on Fridays and Saturdays. You will be fighting an up hill battle. Expect to wait at least an hour and make sure you get on the waitlist early.

My favorite South shore barber shop. Ive tried quite a few others in the area and this is my favorite by far. Always a great hair cut, they offer straight razor shaves too which if youve never tried I recommend. If you need a barber shop this one wont disappoint.

Walked in first time to get a cut. Many people waiting, three barbers. I walked in and the three employees just glance at me and then go back to their business don’t say a word. As I said many people are waiting. Do I wait? Take a number? How long will it be? 30 minutes? An hour? Two hours? Do you think anybody there even addressed to me or came over and gave me an answer to any of these questions. So after five minutes I just walked out. Horrible way to run a business and awful customer service. Great that you guys are busy but you’re going to lose more customers walking out because you fail to communicate and let them know what the hell is going on. Found another barber never going back to this place good luck

Ever walk in a barber shop you have never been to and thought emmm..whats about to happen and who do you go to..staff was easy to speak to an reassuring haircut came out exactly how I wanted it. There is no way you can receive an inferior haircut. All the barbers on staff are true professionals with years of experience and make you feel like family. Prices are average and the shop is exceptionally clean.

This place is where my boys go and it took us a while to find a barber shop my husband would go to out of Boston thank God for this local gem all the guys are great and my boys look hansom as hell. The Family owned Italian shop. Classic place w the best cuts around. Vito has been cutting since he was 8 and now his sons opened up a shop w him. There are 6 barbers there so the wait isnt too too bad. All have each of their own strong qualities.

A simple fade or buzz can become disastrous when going short if the person with the clippers does not know what theyre doing. No worries here!Been here twice now and have had equally great experiences. Ive seen Vinny and Rob and both took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. This is my spot... wont go anywhere else for as long as Im here.

Vito has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. He has given my children their first haircuts. Great to see family working together in this multi-generational atmosphere. They care about giving a great haircut and are customer oriented. Tip: Get a wonderful straight-edge razor shave. Be prepared to wait on a Saturday. However, the wait is well worth it!

Grand Master Vito has been cutting my hair for over 30 years! I followed him when he moved with his sons to open Goodfellas Traditional Barbershop.First come first serve, but the wait isnt too long. Nicely appointed, 2 big flat screens, WiFi and a friendly hello from the barbers.A truly traditional shop, sideburns and neck lathered and shaved with a straight edge.Read your favorite magazine while your hair is cut. I have stayed with Vito, knows my head better than the ex and you feel and look great after!

Absolutely love this barbershop. Ive been coming here regularly now for a couple years and I have to be honest I will not go anywhere else but Goodfellas. The thing that sets this shop apart from any other is the attention to detail and the quality of the cut. Sure, you could go to Ginos and get you basic $12 cut and be on your way in 20 minutes, youll regret it. Ive been going to Sal Tortomasi regularly for my cuts and the man is a master and will always take good care of you. Ive had the opportunity to be cut by Mike as well as Vito and the quality doesnt waiver at all. Superior cuts, superior service from a group of superior gentlemen. Point blank: Goodfellas is a real class act, anything g else is just a haircut.

Im from Quincy, I grew up here. Robs my barber, I dont let anyone else touch my head but him. Ive been coming here since the early days when it was located across Hancock Street. I have become close friends with Rob and all the guys, Vinny, Vito, Mike and Sal. If you keep coming back eventually youll feel like your part of the family. This is the best barber shop in New England Period.

They know exactly how to cut my hair the way I want it. I am glad I found them. They have the personal relationships with their customers that you dont see everywhere. I am soft spoken, but dont feel out of place.

They give absolutely great haircuts. Never left disappointed. Only issue is I know plenty of places who cut just as good and dont charge nearly as much. Just too expensive. Floyds in Cambridge does great work, and still charge less. And theyre in a much more expensive area. But still a great place with great work done by great guys.

This barbershop is managed unprofessionally and the team doesnt care about your time. If they say they work until 7pm, dont believe them.I went there three times and they were closed twice - without changing their schedule in Google Map or their Owen website, or any other notice. The other time, the guy didnt let me in saying they were already too busy!Even you go there and they are open, expect to be there for a long time since each haircut session takes too long!Additionally, the quality of their haircut is not that great either. I would say it is around average.If you care for your time and have busy schedule, avoid them.

I brought my son here about a year ago and the hair cut he got was not ok. I was very displeased and I posted a yelp review with a picture. Goodfellas actually got my review taken down and I received an email from yelp saying they took it down because there was no proof my son got his haircut there. Unbelievable. I can’t believe they would try to censor their costumers this way. What a shame.

I have been here 2 times now looking for a good barbershop to go to as I dont trust many people cutting my hair, the first time with Mike which the haircut was very good so I then I went a second time with Sal which was much worse. Im not a barber so I didnt know the specific numbers, but explained how I wanted it done pretty cut dry, but after asking him to change a couple of things or take more hair off he clearly was aggervated in his face so I said nvm in my head and paid over $30 for something I didnt even want just to evade the situation as I knew I would not go there again. A paying customer should never feel obligated to be content with a haircut they didnt want.As a side note the swearing in that place is crazyyy and extremely unprofessional, knowing that sometimes there are women that go there with their children and hearing the words and stories that come out is extremely unprofessional (its like this at all times).
