I’ve been living at The Watson for three months now after relocating from NJ. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the maintenance manager, Sammy. I’ve been renting for 15 years and I’ve never encountered a property that had such a hardworking and happy maintenance staff member who truly enjoys the work and more importantly, interacts with the tenants so professionally and warmly. Every tenant I talk to about the property, mentions how amazing Sammy has been. He truly leaves a mark and has been such a great leader. Thank you so much for all you do for us, Sammy! And for loving our dogs as if they were yours! - Angel

Barbara treated me so well before and after the lease agreement. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of respect, attention, and care she showed me as a potential tenant. I had it narrowed down to 2 places and I chose this one because of how I was treated. Thanks again - Angel

Barbara is truly a treasure, she accommodated my crazy schedule so I could see the unit in a timely manner. The communication went smoothly which ensured a quick move-in. I could not be happier with the process. Very comfortable in my new apartment

We loved living in this apartment building. It was fantastic. The thing that really made it the best was the Staff. They were always helpful with any thing we needed. The picked up on the first ring almost every time. The fitness center, lounge room, and hallways were always clean. The maintenance man was so cool. Also the dog run was great for our little pooch.

Two of my packages were stolen within the same week (almost $400 worth of stuff combined) & even with the Police involved management failed to address the problem.I was waiting to receive some type of resolution for my claim but since I did not, here we are. About two weeks ago I informed the property manager that I had received notification that one of my packages had been delivered but it was not in the mail room. The courier had taken a photo of where they left it, and although they failed to leave it in the Hub lockers my box should not have gone missing. The property manager suggested I get a police report so that she could review the cameras and take better action. After obtaining a police report, she informed that there were no cameras in that area of the building, so although she reviewed them, that there was no way to see who took it.I asked to speak to another manager within the company and she was of absolutely no help. Instead she made it about how theft has not been a problem in the past and that there was no evidence that my packages were actually stolen. As if i would go through all of this trouble and time to lie about it! Again two of my packages went missing in a week so it is a problem NOW.Although I do not fault management for someone else’s actions, nor did I expect them to cover the costs of my stolen packages (one of which i was not refunded for by the seller or courier). I did expect them to address this new problem with the community the same way they do with every other minor inconvenience (for example dog poop) & to avoid this from happening again.

Beautiful place but dont leave your belongings unattended. I was making a delivery of a couch there 2 weeks ago and I left my 400$ sunglasses on the staircase for 2 minutes, when I went back to get them they were gone. Try to get help from the L.O. I was told to call the police because they cant review the camera system. 😔😔

Pros:1. For the most part clean and neat areas around the building. Building was built recently and is modern.2. Pet friendly (even tho I don’t have pets), even has a dedicated area outside the building to bring your pets for a walk.3. Gym is 24/7 hours with adequate equipment included in your rent. Unless you’re a real gym Fanatic this should fit your needs4. Pre covid there was free coffee at the coffee bar/longue on the 2nd floor. Also free WiFi.5. Staff is attentive and kind. Helps you out here and there.6. Security - It’s as good as how we use it. You have to live on the property in order to get tap access on the doors, but at the same time people open the doors without asking if you live on the properties. Therefore, it defeats that purpose and strangers are let in without you knowing why they are coming in. I will say, I have not heard of any issues with an actual intruder causing issues.Con:1. Not close to the train. Red line walk is around 20-25 minutes walk. You will have to take the bus or own a car if you can’t make the walks. Same with commuter rail.2. Noise is down-right dreadful. People outside on their balconies at night or just out smoking will talk and talk and keep you up/wake you up at night. Land-scaping will come once a week at 7:40 am in the morning and just turn in their leaf blower and wake you up (I don’t know how this is even allowed). There are also also ‘neighbors’ next to the building who are be extra noisy. Aka a land scaping yard and also a train yard directly east and south of the building. Thirdly, there’s a personal property owner also to the East who has a really loud brap/engine car. You’ll hear it all in the summer and it’s quite ridiculous the amount of times I’ve been waken up by them.Weekends move in’s and out’s - If you’re planning on sleeping in on the weekends...well don’t. There’s literally people moving in and out every week and you get woken up by those beeping trucking noises when they are backing up. Then you can hear all the carting of the equipment.3. Parking - free/paid. Free if you park off the building property, but you need to pay if you want a roof or just even closer parking after your 2nd car. There are too many times where your parking spot gets taken too. They need to enforce towing more. If you’re going to pay for a parking spot and I don’t want someone else just taking my spot because a guest from some other unit decided to come and party with you on the weekends.

We really appreciated all that Barbara Fogal did for us in getting our son into his apartment in a matter of one day. She did a very professional, expert job. She also went above and beyond in assisting us with deliveries while our son was out on business travel. The building looks great, and wed have no hesitation recommending it to prospective tenants, as well as the smooth-running Watson management/ownership company.

The Watson is a five-story, 140-unit multifamily apartment complex on 1.7-acres in Quincy Point, adjacent to the former Fore River Shipyard. It was built on the site of a long-vacant former General Dynamics office building. 60 percent of the apartments “workforce housing” are for moderate incomes (at or below 110 percent of the Area Median Income). 20 percent are for low incomes (at or below 50 percent of AMI). The final 20 percent are rented at market rates. There is no difference between the market-rate apartments and the income-restricted apartments. The project was funded by the MassHousing and the City of Quincy affordable-housing trust.

Set an appointment online to view an apartment. Called and verified it. Showed up 5 minutes early and waited 15 minutes late. The leasing office was empty. If staff had to call out for some reason, that is fine, but not having someone notify us is totally inconsiderate. We wasted time and money.

I have lived here since November. The staff is amazing but the quality of the workmanship that went into the construction of the building is sub par. I didnt receive consistent hot water for about 5 months. Now i have 5 water stains on my ceilings around thr ac vents. I aslo pay extra each month for a belcony that now has a 3 foot long crack going down the middle of the concrete
