Came here to do a quick manicure. The place is very clean and I’m glad that their COVID protection was nicely done. The staff are friendly and the service are great. The girl who take care me was Nicole and I am very satisfied the manicure she has done for me. Keep this way and will be back again!

Top 5 nail salons in Providence. Cleanliness is top tier. The massages Ive gotten during my pedicure are too good not to mention. The space is big and I appreciate their covid protocols to help keep customers and employees safe.

I asked hanna for my manicure, I show up and she was busy, The manager proceeds to telling me this when I arrived, as he walked me to another seat. My nails were thinner and well shaped prior doing them . The girl (NICOLE) fill is thick, all my nails sharp with different shapes. I asked for something like the left with a coffin shaped nail and CLEARLY did not get what I asked for, instead it was way off. And then was charged $45 for them,also the girl still asking the tip? I tired call back to complain it but somebody just hung up！Never her again!

Definitely giving them 5 stars. It was my first time there tonight and I’m so happy with my experience. I called at 6:40pm to see if I could get a last minute gel manicure (they close at 7:30) and they got me in without sounding rude or annoyed that I was calling last minute. The salon is super clean and friendly and they are adhering to all Covid guidelines. The girl who did my manicure (Nicole) was quick but without sacrificing quality. And the quality of my gel manicure is great! Overall a wonderful experience.

The woman who did my dip manicure was not only rude but she forgot the bottom clear coat. As she was doing the manicure I was thinking maybe they do it differently here- but within a week 7 out of 10 nail coats had fallen completely off. The dip is supposed to last 2-3 weeks. This is absolutely poor quality for a $50 manicure. The facility is clean and looks nice from the inside but quality of service is everything.

This is the most clean, organized, soothing, professional, covid friendly, on time, fast on service, meticulous, throughout, yet affordable nail salon I’ve ever been to. My mother in law tells me they also give the most amazing pedicures accompanied by incredible foot massage. I stumbled across them in accident but I would never go elsewhere. These people are incredible and all the other reviews are true.

Absolutely wonderful. Incredible COVID friendly and overall a clean and fresh place. My nails have never been prepped and shaped as well as here. Nicole did a amazing dip manicure.

I came here and get pedicure for relax, and I get green tea spa it suppose to get 15min massage but it only lasted about 10minutes. Nicole did not good job, I’m sorry for that.

I get intense anxiety when someone touches my feet and had bad experience before. This is our first time here and May did great Job with pedicure and manicure. She was very wa professional and took her time. Definitely coming back

The salon was very clean and quiet which I loved. Nicole did a great job on my pedicure. The best I’ve had in Providence so far. The massage was the best part. It was a bit pricey but I‘ll pay for quality.

Very clean and very pretty décor also peaceful atmosphere... My gel pedi came out just as I envisioned Hanna was patient and did a fine job my dip Mani I felt was a lil thick but she said its better so they dont crack or break so Im feeling great Thank you!!!

They have a unique technique but high priced. $20 extra for gel nails so a $45 pedicure will cost you $65. I do not recommend there massages went once and a had to stop the guy because instead of feeling relaxed I left upset because of the pain he was causing me .

They were perfect from beginning to end. The attention to every detail was lmpeccable.

I have gotten my nails here twice already and I absolutely love them! Not only is this nail salon super clean and stylish but everyone that works here is nice and works very quickly. The only downside is the way the parking lot is.

Helen gave me a very rush service I didn’t like that at all and she was rough I do power deep because my nails grow fast and my nails was long she ask me if I wanted to cut it or File I said file please she file my entire nails so upset because I like my nails long now I have to start to whole process again to let them grow

I’ve been to J&J about 10 times over the past 2 years. I think the price is higher than some are used to paying and they don’t have many nail enhancements or nail art options, however, they do a superb job. The picture is 2 weeks after a fill- still looking great! J&J has amazing customer service and a lovely space. They usually aren’t crazy busy so I’ve been able to do walk-ins pretty easily. I do wish they’d get some nail additions here like chrome, foil, glitter, etc. If they did this I’d give them 5 stars! I have Tiffany do my nails every time and she’s always done exactly what I ask with precision so at least I always leave very happy! 👍😊

Fast and neat service. I got a gel manicure. I wanted a color that they didnt have and they were able to combine 2 color s to create the look I wanted.

Very prudent about safety protocols which was appreciated.

Asked for a long acrylic set she said ok had me come sit down first she had started cutting the tips way shorter than I asked for then she started doing the dip on my nails and I told her I only wanted acrylic.. the dip has no shape to it and breaks easily I guess that’s why she did them shorter than I wanted to begin with. She started telling me acrylic is the same at dip and continued, the nails came out bumpy and out of shape then charged 75 for a service I didn’t want that took her under an hour. Next time dont lie to clients about what services you offer!

Business owner screamed at me for not giving a tip, I paid for the service and with her yelling I felt obligated to tip. The nail tech was great it was just the owner yelling at me for a tip that is optional not mandatory.

This is the best nail place in the area. So clean and peaceful. Wonderful staff - always get a beautiful pedicure here. They are doing a great job during the Covid-19 keeping things safe and clean. I felt totally comfortable with their precautions and cleanliness standards

It was amazing!!!! Had an excellent pedicure and I cant express how perfect it was! I didnt get her name, but the technician was very detailed and gentle. She was so nice and helpful too! Price was lower than I expected even with the gel polish upgrade. Foot massage was super relaxing and even received a free 2 minute shoulder massage! Inside was so clean and looked great! Very happy, kind and knowledgeable staff.Will definitely make this my permanent nail salon!

Very clean place, and they did an excellent job with COVID-19 regulations. I feel very safe that they took all of the required precautions and perhaps even more, like providing everyone with an additional mask. The pedicure was great, with a very good massage. I just have one major gripe that unfortunately would prevent me from going back. They used a drill on my nails just to put gel polish on! Ive been to lots of different nail salons over the years and no one has ever done that. Its very damaging to the nail and only HAS to be done for acrylics or dip. Too bad, really nice place otherwise.

I usually love it here but my last trip wasn’t the most positive experience. I understand they have guidelines to follow with Covid but they make people double mask... which I don’t understand what that does. They take temperatures at the door which feels really invasive. Some ppl naturally have higher temps, if someone has a 99.3 are they going to deny them service? Also, I know they have capacity restrictions now so they are rushing when doing their services. People go to nail salons to be pampered, not to be rushed and leave feeling stressed. They still do a good job as to why they got 3 stars.

I was there today for an appointment at 11am soon as I walked in the lady took a look at my nails and told me they won’t be able to do my nails because they are too long! I’ve never heard or seen a spa turn down customers because to the length of their nails. My nails are average length and coffin! What was she talking about. I was amazed, did my $55 pedicure and walked out and never looking back!!! NEVER GOING THERE!!!!!

This is my spot. The salon is utterly clean. Everything is in its place and kept neat. They are great with sanitation & always Sterilize. After your manicure, they will give you a two minute backrub my favorite part! When you Choose to have the spa pedicure, they give you a five dollar credit toward your manicure. There’s also a small rewards/incentives rewards program where they give a card Which you keep and bring with you every time. They will mark it every time you go in. When you have 10 visits, you get a free manicure. Here’s the thing if you pay with cash, they will mark it twice bringing you closer to obtaining that free mani! Can’t forget the nail techs who are always very welcoming & super duper friendly.

I went here cause I had an appointment in the morning but the manicurist wasnt there yet. I waited a while and after 40 mins the guy behind the counter brought me a receipt of $55 dollars for the section. I laughed so hard and put the receipt on the counter absolutely aggravated I kind of replied Never again am I coming here, you guys need to be more professional. Good bye!

I was very impressed with the salon and its friendly staff. Their attention to detail ended with a beautiful set of nails. They also give you a mini-massage to your shoulders and hands. Definitely going to be my favourite place to be pampered.

I walked in and because I looked young they started discrediting me. I asked for a manicure/pedicure and with gel polish as well. Which usually goes for about 60-70$ I spent 50$ for a basic pedicure. And 30$ for a manicure in which they did not soak my fingers to remove my cuticle. Two days later my nails look like I’ve had them done for over They were nice because I told them the price wasn’t a problem, after the lady wouldn’t sit down because my cousin asked what was included in the 50$ pedicure. Never again.

Today was the first time Ive ever come here. It was very clean and modern. I wanted to love it, but sadly I didnt. They had very few dip color choices. The woman who did my nails did not cover the whole nail and its very thin on the top. Im just very unhappy with the look of them. I wont be going back. Im debating if I should shell out another $40 to get then redone at another place.

I went to this nail place May 3rd and it look nice the nail techs in there are not friendly at all I mean not friendly if your looking to have long nails don’t go here cause they don’t have strong enough nail Acrylic for that cause their Acrylic is a dipping one 🙄if your looking for something simple then this the place for you this place is for basic nails not for the diamonds and stones like nails they don’t have the tools for doing those type nails I only went here cause I wanted something simple for the moment but I won’t ever go here again

I recently moved to Providence and had tried a couple different Nail Salons and was not at all satisfied. I started to ask around and someone highly recommended J & J Nails & Spa and I am pleased to say I need not look any further. This is by far one of the best Salons in the 30 yrs. of getting pedicures that I have come upon. It’s sparkling clean, modern and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re in need of a day of pampering this is the place to go....I am confident it will become your most favorite Salon from that day forward.

Clean and upscale atmosphere. For the bf/husbands there is very little nail polish smell so you can stand to sit with your girl.

I had to take my 5 star review off! Not only did I end up with green nail fungus on 5 fingers last summer. Need medical treatment to fix. Also I gave it a shot real quick out of no other choice before leaving for vaca. I was getting a Pedicure and the misting machine burned me two times! After the first time the boiling hot water hit my leg the lady looked to have adjusted the thing. But no the second time was worse I actually screamed in shock. I will never go there again and do not recommend you go!!

I asked for matte black ahead of time they confirmed they had it yet when I got there they painted my nails shiny thinking I wouldnt notice. Then I asked if I could have medium to short length, my nails are so long that I have to use the microphone to write this message. I asked if he could shorten them he clipped off the width of an eyelash and said ill file them, he did not file them. spent a lot of money just to learn Ill never go back there. Its clean though.

Tiffany does an amazing job, the prices are a little high but the service and massage after is worth it. Friendly environment, not too busy great place to relax and enjoy yourself.

They are a little bit on the expensive side. For the quality of care you get pay it! 45 pedi with a long massage they put a mask on you legs and heels with a aromatherapy steam. Massage chairs are amazing. Its always clean!! And while you are drying another massage for your back. Always a good experience here.

There customer service is horrible, very rough, was upset I said I wasnt paying 45 for a full set & Lexi insisted on grabbing me physically & removing my nails above her own will, very disrespectful & over priced! My cuticle bled & every finger is stuck to the glue so my skin has been peeled, ridiculous if you want free messages & hot rocks with cheaper prices I suggest VIP NAILS, TIP TOP or DETAIL nails all on mineral spring ave. Horrible never again will I go to them I would always go for my pedicure and gel manicures but now that I go just to go take off the gel they are always too busy for that and they are ALL rude besides the fact that they are pricey for no reason when the gel only be lasting 1 week tops! Very disappointed will be returning to my previous nail salon even though its a 20 mins drive.

By far the best nail salon I have been to since moving to Providence. Ive spent 2 years looking for a nail salon and finally found one. Chloe did my nails and they look great. Did I mention they also massage your shoulders and neck. Wow. Absolutely love this place.

Absolutely amazing in every aspect. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered (Ryan and Tiffany are the best). The place is gleaming clean, all the employees know me by name and make it a point to greet me with smiles every time I arrive. I moved to Providence 4 months ago and was in search of a new nail salon. This was my first and final choice. They do a wonderful job and the environment is calm and relaxed. Not rushed and rough as some salons can be. If i could give a rating higher than a 5 i would!

First time trying this place, it’s close to work so I thought I’d give it a try. I went on Thursday and it is now Saturday and my powder dip manicure has chipped. I have gone weeks before with a powder manicure for 2 years and never had a chip. Not to mention, the girl burned my nails with the buffer multiple times and missed a spot on one nail. In addition, the powder that they have must have been dirty because with a BLACK manicure, there’s flecks of tan on a few nails. The girl doing my nails also noticed that one hand had longer nails than the other and did nothing about it, even when I asked.Not a huge deal, but they only have about 20 powder colors also sooo...Not impressed, not happy, not going back.

I enjoyed every bit of it. They are really good at what they do. Very clean and comfortable place. Its also relaxing there...Aaaaahhhhhh...its lovely getting pedi and manicure there.

Needed my feet done badly and googled the nearest nail salon. My first impression was this place is really nice. Expressed I wanted a pedicure owner or manager had me sit at the pedicure seat and I waited near 15 minutes. Sam the gentlemen working on my feet seem a little annoyed that the polish I had inwhich had glitter would not easily come off. He used nail polish remover vs the little machine that would have been easier, furthermore he looked at me why I’m moving when he’s rubbing his nail into my skin. To add on he spoke to other lady next to him and they laughed and this happened a couple times. I’m usually not bothered by their language but the energy I felt was as if they were discussing me. he proceeded never asking me what I wanted. When he finished scraping my feet I noticed he was putting away the water. I said I wanted the lemon spa and he told me it’s too late. I replied but u never asked me and N he replied nor did I ask him. But I am thinking we’re not done yet. He didn’t bother to say it’s ok I can give you what u want but looked at me like oh well. I didn’t argue because there are too many other places to go to. If I were to return I would never go to Sam again. Just left me feeling really strange.

They did my acrylics very well but they were so expensive! They charged me $45 for regular acrylic tips whereas at most nail salons, it would be around $28. Very expensive for no reason. When she asked me which style I would like, I replied with coffin and she proceeded to tell me it would be extra charge! Definitely not worth it.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and feels luxurious. Extremely clean and the staff are very friendly but the prices are way too high. I got a full set coffin shaped and it was $45 when at my other salon its $28. Im very very particular about my nails and how I want them to look and unfortunately they dont look like it was worth the money. I want to go and maybe try a different nail tech but I still dont think that the price is justifiable and Im always willing to spend if its worth it. At other places you can get a full set and a pedicure for less than $60 and itll look beautiful. At this place my sister and I got a full set and it was $85! It goes to show you that just because a place is aesthetically pleasing doesnt mean you should have to pay more.

Very rude..paid a good amount even tipped (I dont know why). Got a mani and pedi, he cut my toe, he acted like he didnt hear me or my friend..just ignored us.... definitely going to drive to my original spot.

Steven did my feet and he was so rough not only with the tools but with his hands. He held my foot still so tight I have a bruise on my foot! I asked him to cut along the sides of the nail because they grown into my skin, and he didnt even know what he was doing, my toe nails ended up way too short.
