Worst nail pedicure experience in Rhode Island.Had an appointment for 2 pedicures and the staff didn’t acknowledge us for about 5 mins. They have a really strange process/procedure to do everything. Most places use a machine to take off gel polish at other salons they file it out which takes about 15 extra wasted minutes of my time. The water you put your feet in isn’t even nice normal pedicure water. It’s dirty and murky. The lady doing my toes was extremely rude and when she finished painting my toes she rudely told me i was done. When i got to the counter to pay(just as i was walking out the door) the owner/or lady at the front told me i can get a back massage as well(included). But why wait till i am out the door to do so. That was horrible service and pay $110 for two basic pedicures. They overcharged and didn’t offer me everything that was included and the quality of the work was not good at all. Never going back and definitely will NEVER recommend this place.

They did a wonderful job made my grizzly toes look normal again and do am awesome job at relaxing you and massaging!

Wonderful Pre-Wedding Spa Day!Recently, I hosted my daughters wedding party for manicures and pedicures at Aurora Nails and Shanny and the staff could not have been more accommodating! Everyone was so happy with their experience. And my daughter had special nail art that looked so perfect and delicate for a bride! Thank you!

During COVID I came a few times to get my toes done. Walk in. Everything was lovely. The service. The area. But today, since I was around the area and my sister just came from Florida I figured we can get pedicures here. Long story short, I walk in and ask if they’re taking anyone. The girl said it was by appointment only. So I call but the ringer is busy. You walk back in and ask how can I book since they’re busy and she tells me to wait. I waited 5 mins after she sat down to finish with her client and told me if I want to come tomorrow because they have no availability. What bothered me the most was that one of the customers proceeded to say “where did all these people come from? Where were they before everything?” It doesn’t matter who comes from where or how many people come. They should be happy about that. I will never be going back there ever again.

We are always greeted with a warm smile. The environment is so relaxing. The salon is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Was never nervous to be there during this scary time. This salon is my favorite place to recharge my batteries

Aurora Nails has excellent customer service! The staff are super friendly, they have multiple pedicure types with a massage included, and the nail techs give you a shoulder massage while your manicure dries, which my shoulders really needed!They are super clean and have excellent Covid-19 safety procedures in place!The owner is the sweetest woman!The man who did my pedicure was excellent!However, I’m sad to say that I can’t leave 5 stars because the nail tech for my manicure was a bit brutal on my cuticles. She didn’t let them soak long enough, so she had to push quite aggressively to get them back and then she ripped my skin on 2 fingers when trimming them. The skin around my cuticles on a few fingers is now a mess.Also, I got a gel manicure so that the polish would last longer, but a couple of my nails began to chip on Tuesday (I got my manicure on Sunday).They didn’t have prices listed inside for their manicure services (I did see the price for the pedicure beforehand) and there’s no website with pricing info either, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but total at the end for my mani and pedi seemed a bit steep based on my experiences in similar salons...I was looking forward to leaving a better review, but with the current state of my hands, I’m not able to :(

I found Aurora Nails because I was looking for a nail salon close to my wedding venue where myself and the bridal party could get our nails done before the wedding. I made an appointment for a manicure on Mother’s Day to try them out. I know Mother’s Day is always super busy but they were able to take me early and when I showed them a picture of an ombre dip style they were happy to change my normal manicure appointment to a dip, which I know takes twice as long. I asked them if they would be able to accommodate 10 mani pedis for my wedding in 6 weeks and they said they could. I booked the appointment that day as I left. They called me the night before to confirm the appointment and told me I could bring champagne so we could have mimosas while getting our nails done. The service that day was great (even though I messed up my count and they were able to accommodate the extra person without trouble)! Every single member of my bridal party got a mani pedi with very little wait time. We enjoyed mimosas and all managed to have our nails finished in plenty of time to go to the hotel and get ready for the wedding rehearsal. My nails looked amazing and I got tons of complements. I highly recommend Aurora Nails! The service and quality are amazing!!

New go-to nail spot! The technician was extremely attentive and pleasant. Did a manicure and a pedicure and the tech, Maggie, paid special attention to every part of it. From cutting my nails to the (unexpected but welcome) back massage while my hands were getting a deep moisturizing. The space itself is very bright, super clean, and well-sanitized. Price-wise, it’s definitely affordable. Starting at $15 for a manicure and $25 for a pedicure. Will definitely be going back regularly. Also, if you try and you like it, they have a VIP Membership where you get $5 off for every $100 spent and 20% off on your birthday.

Didnt want to totally bash the place because it is clean and the receptionist that was working was nice. For the gel to be peeling off my nails though after ONLY 3 days is insane to me. I have ben getting my nails done for quite sometime and this has never happened to me before. Again, very clean place and the atmosphere is nice but be prepared for this to happen... you have been warned.

This Nail Salon is over the top with excellent Customer service and Staff, the salon is super clean and comfortable and the work they do from 4-5 different types of pedis with a 10 minute massage included are The BEST IN TOWN....and the Owner she is Amazing, my 16yr old son ChrisSean we called him Poppa❣ Hewas Murdered Aug, 28, 2019. And I was having a rough day missing him and the Owner was there for me, she totally made me feel better for a moment, just the Compassion she showed for me and my situation was a Blessing and I need her to know besides having an Amazing Nail Salonshe is an A-1 Human being ❤ what a lovely lady, thank you for being there for me and being so so kind...and Aurora Nails....is now my ONLY nail Salon, and i recommend Everyone who wants Class A service, this is the place.

Just had one of my best pedicures there. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was very clean inside. The pedicure is priced a little higher than some places but well worth it as it includes a thorough exfoliation and leg and back massage.

I want a full refund. I spent over $200 for a pedicure for my mother and I. She got a horrific toe nail infection that the doctor said will taken 6-12 months to recover from! UNBELIEVABLE

Shop was very clean and relaxing. However, the quality of the pedicure technique was disappointing (excluding the polish)- especially for the $60. I was told I’d have to come back for multiple visits for what is a basic service at all other shops.

Great service. Clean. Professional and perfectionist nail techs. Will be coming back here as long as I live on the east side! Wish I found them sooner compared to their competitors on Wickenden street. I am not saying anything bad about them, but aurora nails has them blown out of the water with cleanliness and professionalism. Not to mention the non toxic nail polish options!

Horrible dip set. Paid for myself and my stepmom. My stepmoms nail design came off 2 days later.

Loved everything about my pedicure service. The technician was on time for my appointment. The pedicure came out looking amazing. What I loved most is their water and hot towels were actually hot- sounds like a weird compliment but hear me lol. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to other nail salons and the pedicure water is barely lukewarm and the towels temperature feels as though they just ran it under the sink quickly. When that happens, the experience of the service diminishes for me.But not in Aurora. I was so lax. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been to many nail salons over the years in all of the towns I’ve lived in. I recently moved to Providence and came here upon suggestion by a friend. This is the best nail salon in Providence and the best one I’ve been to anywhere I’ve lived.They’re incredibly clean, follow all of the Covid-19 precautions dutifully, have great hours, and are so nice. They are all perfectionists which is exactly what you want when getting tour nails done. They are a couple of dollars more expensive than other salons nearby but it’s 100% worth it. I’ve recommended them to others as well and would encourage everyone to visit this nail salon. :)

They accommodated myself and a bridal party for pedicures, amazing job, everyone left feeling relaxed, refreshed and happily pleased with the experience. Great staff, fast and efficient service! Not rushed, very intentional with each and everyone of us! AND CLEAN!!!

There milk pedicures are great. The 20 minute foot massage are very relaxing, and the shoulder massages after your manicure are amazing also!! The whole experience is exceptional! And the salon is clean and under amazing ownership!

Best pedicure in Rhode Island by far! I had the Spa pedicure and the 10 minute massage was a legit pressure massage on my feet and calves and loved the other treatments as well! The few minute shoulder massage while my nails dried was another added bonus! Highly recommend and Maggie did an amazing job!

I love this nail salon, its become my go-to place since they opened. Always clean and lovely, and the manicures and pedicures are a wonderful pampering experience. They can always fit you in on time too!

Salon is clean and nice inside. There is only one nail tech that does acrylics so be sure to make an appointment if that’s what you want. No diamond/ gem’s for nail art either. Staff were rude and made sure the party I was with knew they weren’t happy we were late even though we called prior saying we were going to be late. Staff also asked someone in my party to Venmo them their tip...which personally I thought was rude because we all know a tip is out of courtesy not necessity.

The salon was very clean and comfortable. Modestly decorated and very bright. The owner was a doll. She was sweet, friendly and just a pleasure to be around. They provided bottle water during our services and they finished with a nice hot towel neck and shoulder massage. They do know how to pamper the client. However, I really didnt care for my manicurist. He was nice but had a hard time understanding exactly what I wanted. This left me with an okay pedicure and a bad manicure. My fingernails were uneven and I had polish on my skin when he finished. That wasnt the worst part though, when he was trimmed my cuticles he cut me. He even had to apply something liquid to my skin because my finger would not stop bleeding. Never have I had that happen before and honestly Ive never paid more for a mani & pedi. For the price I really expected to love it but unfortunately it was not a good experience for me. Maybe he was having a bad day but it really made me feel like I would not return. On the way out the owner did ask how everything was and I was too embarrassed to tell her. I really liked her. She was so professional and really seemed to value her customers and the services her business provided but the place was very busy and I just didnt want to say anything negative at the time. I always feel horrible about bad experiences and try to see all the good in them.

Reskky bad service and coustomer customer service! I went as a walking and after the toll me to come back in 30 min make me wait for 15 min I they werent even busy!! Them finally went they were ready for me they dont have enough deep power of the color I choose for my deep manicure ! I left and never recommended to any of my friend.the receptionist is very rude and dismissive.

This place 100% deserves 5 stars, but due to an employees really poor attitude and demeanor I had to drop it down to a 4. this salon is stunning and beautiful and the first thing that you see when you walk in is a perfectly clean and pristine autoclave area where they sterilize everything. Then I was greeted by Shanee whom Im assuming is the manager. Shany greeted me so warmly and discussed all my options, she helped me pick out a great color for my nails that match my toenails. And she was very clear and open about all the pricing. David who did my pedicure was really polite with a great touch, the pedicure came with a five minute massage on each foot which I appreciated.However, when it was time for my dip powder manicure, I was really let down by Jacks performance. Shanee purposely made sure that my dip powder nails were well saturated so that the whole polish should just come up with a clean swipe of a cotton ball. Jack started drilling my nails right away and my nails are really fragile and thin. Shanee came over immediately and stop Jack trying to show him that he just needed a wipe off my nail. Jack ignored Shannee advice and decided to go on his phone and text. The rest of his questions about how I wanted my nail shaped and cut were very curt, he didnt make any conversation or eye contact with me at all. The one thing that really bothered me about Jacks performance, was how wasteful he was with a dip powder. If I were a manager I would have been really upset because he was dipping my whole finger inside the powder and leaving mounds of powder on top of my finger and not even tapping any of it off. Powder got everywhere and far too much of it was left on top of my fingers. On top of that I could see fibers getting stuck into the powder and instead of pulling the fibers off he just let them sit in there the nails were really rough and super bumpy. Until he went back through and smooth them out with a drill again. I was pleased at the manager came with a shoulder and hand massage.Honestly the salon is stunning and the customer service that I received from Shanee was out of this world! The price is really do reflect all the massage and extras that come with the services. But someone needs to send Jack to a customer service and basic human interaction 101 seminar.I will continue to go to this place, because I cannot stress enough how absolutely great everything else was, except for Jack.
