I had a 12:30pm appointment and was left waiting until 12:50pm. At 12:40 I politely asked if my barber was present and he was, just giving somebody else a haircut. He then gave me a somewhat curt response but I didnt think much of it. At 12:50pm I asked how much longer itd be and he told me another 10 minutes. I asked why I had to wait 30 minutes for a 30 minute haircut and the barber gave me a flippant response about how when you go to a doctors appointment you have to wait too. The only difference is that this is a barber shop. For all I know, this place may be great. Just dont book an appointment with Clyde.

I walked in a little late (near closing) but was fortunate Clyde was willing to take care of my request - for a quick beard trim and lineup. He did an excellent job, was very professional, and even asked how my day was! Would definitely go back next time I am in town.

My husband and I just moved to Providence from Vancouver, Washington. We had been looking for a shop where we could both get a reasonably priced haircut and found Da Point.Clyde is a master with the clippers and Scissors. My husband has a cowlick that no one in the last five years has been able to tame and Clyde did it in a matter of seconds.He is our go to guy from now on. I would recommend him to any one.

Clean, prompt, professional, comfortable shop. My 10yo son and husband both visit and they love the cuts every time. They have an easy to use online booking system & convenient parking. Check them out for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

It’s taken quite a while for me to find a barbershop where I feel comfortable taking my sons. It’s also a place where they are finally recognizing how to ask for what they want. Amazing spot. Finally a local men’s barbershop that is relaxed and high quality.

If youre looking for a good shop in Providence, this is the spot. My barber Clyde gave me the best looking fade Ive ever had, lots of attention to detail. Highly recommend!

So glad I tried this place out. Great atmosphere and the guys were awesome. After wanting to try something new, I told Dennis what I was picturing, he gave me some suggestions, and I told him to run with it. Cut game out great and couldnt be happier. Definitely going to be my regular spot from now on.

Best place for a good fade around here. Both Dennis and Kyle are great at what they do. Atmosphere is cool, guys are very personable, just keep in mind it’s appointment only.

Da Point is a terrific barber shop. You will absolutely get the attention you deserve. The whole shop gives off the vibe of 2 guys that have accomplished exactly what they wanted, and its awesome. They take a ton of pride in their work, and theyll treat you right.

Shout out to my guy Clyde. Dont sleep on this young heavy hitter, hes an assassin with a pr of clippers in his hand! Great atmosphere, Kyle keeps the vibes alive from when you step in until you leave! Will return!

Ive been coming here for a few months now. Appointments are made through their online website, where you can book whichever barber you choose. Both barbers here do a great job and have down to earth personalities.

They don’t value appointments. Made appointment for 6pm. Waited for a 40 minutes till the person in the chair with Dennis was complete. Only to find out there were 2 more people waiting before me to have Dennis cut their hair. No heads up when I walked in as to what the delay might be even though they asked when my appointment was. Was expecting to be in the chair at or around 6. Not closer to 730. I walked out...Won’t be back

DO NOT GO TO CLYDE. I have never had such a rude, disrespectful barber in my 33 years of haircuts. Im a nice, kumbaya, happy-go-lucky person. He seemed tight before I walked in. Took the guys money ahead of me and immediately turned away from him, despite the guy obviously waiting for a handshake. Never shook his hand! Once I got in the chair he seemed okay, but when i tried making conversation he was visibly annoyed. i also asked something about my hair (since i was getting a haircut and all), and he responded very sharply and negatively-- NO! or WHAT?! with a short response to my questions. Are you serious?! I understand being upset about something, but youre working with human beings man be professional. If its that bad then just cancel the appointments and go home. Besides this I was very clear about what i wanted with my haircut and he did something i specifically said not to do, but i didnt even mention it because God only knows what his temper would have made him do at that point. The haircut itself was just okay... uneven and not what i asked for but not awful. 2 stars for the music and because the other barber (Kyle i think?) seemed like a nice guy to be around.Again, do not waste your time and money being disrespected by Clyde.
