Palm Desert Store America storage has wonderful customer service. I have been with them for a few months now and I have no complaints. Everyone is very nice and very helpful.I would recommend this storage place to anybody Store America is wonderfull.

Looking for a 10 x 20 storage unit can be difficult at this time since it seems that everywhere here in the desert are full. That being said, when I called for availability, I was told one just came available and maintenance was just cleaning it up getting it ready for rent. I told the front desk that I’d be there at 2pm. When I got there she was very nice, showed me the unit and explained how everything works. Renting the unit was very easy and quick. She always had a smile and great customer service.

The best storage you can find, Stephanie the store manager was so efficient and very fast on making a breeze to move in and she also was such a kind and so sweet, this storage place I highly recommend. All I can say im so happy I found this storage place.

On their website, it advertises that you can access your storage until 10pm, when, in fact, you cab only access until 7pm... thats a huge difference! The prices cant be beat for the size of the unit, but the false advertising is a bust! Plus, I couldnt even get through to the Palm Springs office at any time on a Saturday. I even left a message and never received a call back! Thats just about 3 strikes- I checked out another company...

Less than 2 months, somebody broke in in our storage. The facility has camera only at the main access road and none on each storage section. This storage is not safe.

Really great people, clean place, and well taken care of. Moved out here with my boyfriend and it definitely wouldnt have been possible without you guys. They had a really great special going on for October so we paid $30.00 for the month plus a 10 day extension (because we couldnt get into our apt until the beginning of November) and it was still super cheap. But than life happened and our money did not hit our bank in time to pay the day we moved everything out and they were very understandable and gave us over the weekend. Coffee in the office is definitely a plus too. Would recommend these guys any day.

Yesterday me and My husband went to Rent a storage unit. Very good safe place. Everything looks clean . The staff Enereo and Stephanie are very friendly and profesional . Not only they helped us decide what storage unit i was gonna need. They also let me borrow a moving van to move all My belongings.

Ive been storing here for about 5 years now and I feel safe and welcomed every time. The team here are really kind and helpful. I know they are always trying to meet my needs. As a business owner that has shipment delivered there, I know they are really patient and care about my stuff. I would recommend this site to all my friends and family.

Im not sure where these people were renting from a few years ago, but StorAmerica has been a great place to rent from. Management is friendly and I feel comfortable with leaving my belongings here. Never had a problem!

Safe place to keep your things

I visited this store today and was very impressed with its staff. There prices are great for this location since they are so close to the downtown area. I was helped by Jehd and plan on moving all my work vehicle to this facility.

The staff was very friendly and insisted on showing units to confirm it was to my liking and needs they also assisted me with better rates and clearly and concisely explained all the features amenities and regulations regarding the location in addition they sent me a storage moving van to help me move in my stuff which was extremely convenient and helpful

Pretty much what you would expect to see at a storage place. clean and well managed by appearances. I helped a friend move stuff in but didnt use this place myself

StorAmericas 42nd Ave location in Palm Desert earns massive praise from my familys experience for cleanliness, security and professionalism. Previously we had saved money storing at any number of facilities on Varner Rd & Monterey just north of the 10 freeway.However, every time at Varner Rd storage facilities when I opened the unit door I was greeted by choking clouds of dirt ----- even when the unit was inside the deep hallway of a protective building ----- there was a secreted ghostly sheet of desert dust soaked into every item. Yuck. This barely happens here for an important reason:StorAmericas 42nd Avenue location delightfully beat our expectations because it is not nearly as vulnerable to the showers of tiny desert sand because all the land and dirt near it is developed. Happily surprised -- whenever I opened the unit door I can actually see our possessions ----- and they are not covered by a blanket of dirt.The reason is the wisdom of the old expression location location location, because 42 Ave is insulated by miles by paved roads and golf courses, shopping centers and homes. I did not think this factor would make a striking difference in cleanliness with the door closed, but desert dirt can creep into facilities, but not nearly so much here. Why? Between this location and the open desert, there are many miles of country clubs and built up infrastructures that have paved road or rolling acres of maintained golf greens.If you are newcomer to the desert, the season of spring and early summer bring weekly powerful wind storms that blow dirt at terrifying 1930s Dust Bowl scale. This primarily comes from the north side the by the 10 freeway. Sudden rivers of loose rural sand pelt cars and gush sand in sudden rivers of dirt blown across highways. Famously Indian Canyon Highway, a main artery in PS is closed numerous times a year because of the thick river of sand that is blown over too slippery for cars to drive over. The sand storms blind vision on some roads, stirring debris and every kind of leaf. Thankfully, this StorAmerica location----- is safely built in the south of old Palm Desert, between Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells. Its location and its management are what makes it special.I learned this the hard way because previously I stored at the newer facilities at the vulnerable edge of north side of town where theres miles of rural fields to fuel the dirt downpour ----- this location is shielded by a few miles of landscaped homes and all paved roads that help to keep this place refreshingly clean!Stephanie and Enereo are quick to help solve all questions ------ a big help to our family ------ for both are detail-oriented professionals with excellent management skills. Always a pleasure to communicate with regarding any questions.The management are prompt, friendly and answered all of our questions quickly. Restroom is clean as well, while nicely.. the available large truck motor runs well & is reliable ----- because management keeps it well-maintained. The tStor America trucks Air Conditioner performed a life saving job of keeping us cool during our move.Much cleaner than we expected {again, after storing at other companies on Varner Rd, sooo grateful for this discovery that this company StorAmericas facilitys location is largely free from directed-exposure to desert sand blowing because it is insulated in...cleaner south Palm Desert. Thats what makes it unique to the desert.The responsive Stephanie and Enereo sealed our experience with kindness and gratitude. They showed us courtesy and great customer service. In the workplace, each bring a zeal for deserved-pride in this safe cleaner facility ----- in the older south end of Palm Desert where the air is cleaner ----- a storage facility that stands out additionally because it is fortified the old-fashioned way ---- by managers who live on-site.

I went to rent a storage unit there and they were very helpful. Especially a manager named Enereo was very nice to us. Storamerica in Palm Desert has the best deals in town.I would highly recommend everyone to go there.

I dont recall the gentlemans name but his initials are JT. Hes the manager of your Palm Desert facility. I cant begin to tell you how helpful he has been.....from renting me a large unit and a month later when I moved half the items out.....renting me a smaller unit. Assisting me by letting me use his truck and dolly for a couple of hours to being quick and efficient in the paperwork. Besides, JT is a very nice guy. I am truly impressed with your organization. Easy access, good security, friendly staff.

Terrible customer service. When first signing up (at a very good discounted rate) I commented on the (over double original amount) rate stated in the contract as the normal rate after the initial rental time frame had expired. I was told by the agent not to worry about the price in the contract, that if a customer wanted to extend the storage period long-term, they actually stayed very close to the original discounted rate. However, when I came into the office to renew, another agent was reluctant to provide a discount to the contracted (ridiculously high) rate, and said a manager would call me with the best rate they could offer. I accepted the new, discounter offer of an increase of $25 per month. Then, after six months, I received another invoice quoting an additional increase of $68 dollars. When I returned to the office, I was told the best they could do was lower the next increase to $42 (plus the $25), an increase of $800/yr over the original quote (and the likelihood that they would jack it up still more after only 6 months.) Although my rental fees were always paid timely, apparently they preferred to let the space remain empty and offer a discounted rate to a new customer. (They would need to offer a discount as the the current initial rate in this area was far below the ongoing rate they were quoting me ). There was no offer to work with me, asking if I could make do with a smaller unit, or provide a truly competitive rate to keep the unit occupied long-term. Clearly the plan is to overcharge people after 6 months, counting on the fact that it is usually labor-intensive and expensive to move to another location. I quickly found a (cleaner, better-kept, more access hours, etc.) storage facility within about 8 blocks, for a much, much lower monthly rate. I gave plenty of notice to StorAmerica and, leaving at the end of February, a short month, I asked a different front desk agent how much extra I would be charged if I moved on March 1st instead of Feb. 28. She quoted about $5 (total). On the morning of March 1, I went into the office to make that final payment, and a different agent was at the desk. I was provided with a March invoice, stating the amount due (for the one day) was $14. This was because this agent, who wasnt about to honor the amount her coworker quoted, tacked on $9, the entire months (MARCH!!) property insurance amount. Wow -- how mean-spirited can you get? Previously, I used a StorAmerica unit in Irvine, and had a very good experience there. Entirely different people, customer interface was CONSISTENT, courteous and efficient.

Great storage facility but the rates go up every single year without any increase in service.
