Police called WET for accident. Towed to Wets lot, 3-mile drive. Driver dropped wife at home, 3/4 mile away from accident scene. Thats great.But getting car back is difficult since they trust nobody and demand cash. Who Carries cash? So there is $150 towing 3-miles to the Wet Towing Lot. Then they charge $75 to process/prepare DMV Lien. Then charge everyday $25 for storage. Many companies give 1st day free storage since they charge so much for a police call from an accident.Phone answerer has a definite attitude and seems to be in distress each time she talks on phone. Cash only business is advertized as accepting credit cards in their yellow page listing. False advertising. Only the Manager Mike can make decisions but he often runs tow calls and is not there.I found that this business does apartment towing if a visitor has to park other than designated areas. Confrontational style of business, with employees who are suited to confrontations. Dont expect them to be happy or nice, while they refuse credit cards, debit cards, and checks.I would not recommend Wet Towing to a friend. Thank you.

Oh no worries, this company will make sure that if it wasn’t already beyond repair at the crash sight, it’ll be totaled by the time they quite literally drag your car to their “repair shop”.Oh, and if you want the interior of your car redecorated? Not sure what’s worse the lack of knowledge of the driver for not knowing how to tow a four wheel drive vehicle without damaging it or the complete and utter lack of professionalism.Didn’t know that it is standard practice to dump all the debris from BOTH cars into one vehicle. IN cabin and in the trunk.Must be a tow driver and insurance adjuster making the assumption that a vehicle is totaled so any damage the driver inflicts “doesn’t matter”.I sincerely hope that the Portsmouth police department does not have a contract with this company.

Driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. After an accident he refused to tow my all wheel drive car with dollies, and towed it with two wheels on the ground. After failing to access the shift linkage with a large screwdriver damaging the center console. Putting debris from the accident in the car (more specifically on the drivers seat) and placing a steel bumper from another car on the seats and against the radio.

Left a woman outside the gate with a flat. Wouldnt let her change it before she removed it from the lot. She was stuck on the side of the road to get it herself. She was older, and alone.

My truck broke down at 7:30 in the morning on the side of 264. As soon as someone picked me up the state troopers called this company to come get it at 7:50. I was having another tow truck company come get it only to find it gone. Once I found out were it was ( literally 5 miles down the road) I called and was told $250,we show up then she tells me only cash money. Had to go to an ATM and come back. She was rude and nasty. Who only takes cash. They brought 5 cars in while I was there. Dont use this scam of a company. Will be reporting to the BBB.

They were supposed to be my cars towing service but they tried to tell me I had the wrong number cuz it was 3:30 in the morning I guess.

Had them tow my 06 Jetta. Great service. Friendly helpful professional folks. Worked with my schedule as well. Would use again. They put AAA to shame.

You cannot image the relief when these guys showed up to move a couple of vehicles who broke down in front of the gate to my office after the most recent storm here! I just did not know what to do!!! And I am so grateful for their response. I wish there was some way of making up for any and all complaints anyone would make against these guys . . . they are angels in my book!!!

Horrible experience. Charged an extra hundred dollars and they demanded cash once we got there. No one told us we had to bring cash only. This place is the biggest scam ever! STAY AWAY!

Towed my car out my own neighborhood TWICE ! The people who work for this company is rude & very unpleasant. If i could give 0 stars I definitely would !

Terrible worthless company. They have a contract with Harbour Breeze Apartments and never come through here. No less than 50 to 100 vehicles parked here illegally every night. Just to dam lazy. Must be filthy rich and dont need the money. Hopefully Harbour Breeze will contract with a real and reputable towing service in the near future

Called at 9:56pm for a tow. Didn’t answer the phone so I left a message. Didn’t return my telephone call. Called back at about 1:30am and they still couldn’t tell me that they could tow the car. They are the worst. Very unprofessional!!!

Only because the lady was Well mannered, other then that it’s the worst of the worst !!!!!

They towed my car that was totaled in a accident. I called several times and went up there. They never told me anything about storage fees. Then I get a letter from dmv. They put a lien on the totaled car. I called and they lied bout the worker not being thete.well I get another person to call, shes there. Now they saying I owe over $700. Be fair and not charge for something you never told me about.

Wow watch out wet towing towed cars well pretty much stole them off my property then charged me yes sad but true ....they said some 1 called so they towed my cars off my property and I called the police and they said its a civil matter bring them 2 court like hello I own the property yes there thives

Had to call the police to make them release my car after they attempted to Intimidate my wife and refused to release the car to her after she paid. Even after the police arrived they refused to even let me on the property to jump my car. Had to push the car into the street to jump it. Very unpleasant people and very unprofessional.would rate zero stars.
