Called because I got a flat and couldn’t get the lugs off, they told me it would be $90 and it would take an hour to get to me. I waited the hour and called and they said it would be another 15 mins, they then proceeded to take an hour and a half in total. When the guy jacked up my car he rolled it on the jack and I had to take it to a shop to get a new undercarriage cover which cost me $580. This all would’ve been fine as it’s small things that I understand happen at 2 am but, I was then charged $95 instead of $90 and to be honest they’re lucky I even paid as they were VERY late, damaged my vehicle, and overcharged me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! It’ll be cheaper to get a mew wheel and tire then having them change it.

I recently bought a Cat backhoe loader. I have towed skid steers, mini exes, this was too big to be safe. To say the machine was in the middle of nowhere was an understatement. I called these guys around lunch and they came and had this machine delivered stressfree. To say they were awesome is an understatement, I tipped.the driver, thats how good they were.

I am about TJ, the great mechanic who arrived to me with his mobile workshop (service truck). He is pro and owner for his duty. My Volvo semi’s air comressor discharge pipe blown. That is the steel pipe and had its unique shape, so I needed the exact part. They found one for me from different state and TJ came back with that very exact part and installed it! Great pleasure to be helped with you guys! Highly recommended

The staff at National Wrecker was kind and courteous... I am disappointed in my behavior while I was there helping a friend pick up a vehicle. I wanted to be able to remove the vehicle from their property to a friends business down the street to replace two damaged tires and wheels. My argument was that I felt the business shouldnt be able to prevent me from leaving their property with the vehicle as long as it could move and should it be unsafe that is an issue for the police to cite me. I had an officer respond and after listening to his explanation I better understood, that they may have been doing me a favor by preventing the removal, and allowing us to hire them for a tow to Walmart to conduct the repair. (We hired a very nice couple to replace the tires and rims whom we bumped into in the remote section of the lot.) The staff at National was very polite despite my childish behavior... And this is my roundabout way of apologizing and expressing appreciation. :) #RAoK603 :)

If you don’t have another option you can come here but you should know they charge everything for example I bring my truck here and they said park here and later they couldn’t pull up my truck maybe 5 meter and they charge 172$ for in the yard tow next time impossible for me good luck guys

Unfortunately we did not have the best first day in New Hampshire, as our rig broke down less than 1/2 mile from campground on a Saturday morning. AAA and a local Hampton cop recommended using National Wrecker service.... and having heard and read about other peoples experiences- I was quite anxious as we had NEVER needed a tow in over 30 yrs of RVing. National Wrecker seemed like, and turned out to be an EXCELLENT option. They arrived in timely manner to our precarious breakdown location ( an inclined, curving ON RAMP to a highway), and professionally hooked up equipment to take our RV (41 ft Diesel Pusher) safely back to THEIR shop where they would be able to repair it. Lucky for us, they had recently installed a 50 AMP outlet for RVers in our predicament (full timing.) We stayed overnight 2 nites waiting for Monday to roll around for mechanics.... Will was on it by 8am Monday, and he did an excellent job repairing what turned out to be a difficult to reach hose on top of our 500 Cummins engine, finishing most of the repair by noon. He kept me abreast of progress, and they just wanted to let it run for a while to be certain all was well (it was.) We were on our way before 2pm. I can only hope that if we ever again have such an incident that we would be lucky enough to be in the vicinity of an establishment similar to National Wrecker to get us back on our way.

The tow driver made sure my son and daughter got to a safe place after being on the highway an hour from home and took great care of my car I was mad about the price at first until I knew they helped them get of the highway I appreciate what they did

After our roadside assistance got done shopping around National came out to our location and got our tire swapped out, no lug wrench packed in our things for our fifth wheel. They got us off the road and on our way home in quick fashion.

I brought my bus here for work - an oil / filter change and I heard a metal sound I wanted to have diagnosed/fixed. I spent $3500 in tires - bearings etc, oil change and was told it was all set.Next day.. metal sound is still there. Also a wire connected to the battery was melting the rubber as it was getting so hot. I bring It back and left it for 2 weeks while I was away.. I was told theyd start on 1 issue and look to find the reason for the other.3 weeks later.. no work done, and suggested it needed a new engine. Which if I new in the first place.. I definitely wouldnt have approved the 1st job. Estimating thousands of dollars more.I left with the bus.. half way down the road it breaks down. I call AAA - they look at it, and notice - the wire I asked them to look at and replace - they just cut it..and left it hanging - It was the wire from the Alternator to the battery.I had to have the bus towed $640 - To a friends shop, I spent $400 on a new alternator. He checked the oil - completely overflowing, didnt remotely look changed - oil filter was old too. He changed it - put some additive in it, the metal sound is now gone - he replaced the wire in minutes - And now the bus is running great.If I had not gone to this shop and just went to my friends in Gloucester first - I would have saved $4000 - this place is dishonest and frankly - cutting a wire?! - thats flat out causing more problems so I have to pay them to fix it.Would not ever recommend this place.

Well I think that the price for towing is a little to high. Plus I heard nothing all day about a parking ban, and considering I parked in a already plowed road.

Got out of work to find I had a dead battery. National was the only one who could get to where I was and they were there in about 10 minutes. The driver Nick called to tell me his status and knew exactly where I was located, he was very friendly and professional. Hooked up a booster pack and sent me on my way less than 20 minutes of being dispatched. Great service and great driver.

I called this shop for road service. At the beginning the price was $120 per hour but at the time to pay the price magically has turned into $145. The job was fine no complains. Then they tried to charge me for 3.5 hours which is the tire change and it’s about 45 min to 1 hour and 2.5 hours of driving. Truck was 30 miles away from the shop at the service plaza on I-95.“Nice” job guys...

Ive had a lot of work done there on my truck because their labor rates are better than most other shops

Had an axle freeze up on a trip to the Lake . I called, they answered, gave me a quote of $150 an hour. Said they would come within the hour. Peter the driver came at the hour and 10 minute mark. He took extreme care of the boat, put it on the flat bed and was extra careful to secure it at multiple points.The tow was 50 minutes up to the lake and Peter dropped it at the landing safe and secure. Took my payment and was very professional.My butt was saved on a Sunday on Memorial Day. Yes it cost some money but my failure to grease my bearings is my own fault.I would use this company again.In the end no one was hurt and no damage was done.If you have a boat or trailer issue ... call these guys.Thanks Peter for your help !

I called National for a tow tonight. Upon arrival Nick was able to see that I needed a jump start. I was thankful for his knowledge and being able to diagnose the problem. I was happy to save money and have my car back on the road!

Went to pick up my car and was charged a different price than what was on the bill. When I asked about it the worker said he had “forgotten” to write down an additional fee. Seems very shady to me.

Called with a flat tire on a 6 wheeler and Miguel answered the phone. He brought a new tire incase the old one could not be repaired. Price was as promised $135 an hour 2 hours min plus the repair. He removed the tire from the rim plugged and installed a patch inside the tire, reinstalled the tire torqued the bolts and checked for leaks.Great service!!! Timely response.

I drive a tractor trailer over the road and have looked for a shop for 3 days to fix an exhaust leak. The fumes were literally killing me... nobody cared and nobody would even LOOK at it. In Portsmouth, I called National Towing because they had a repair shop and explained my desperation because I am just one truck and need to keep rolling from being booked in advance. Jim agreed to check it out despite being extremely busy as was everyone else. I arrived and showed him the exhaust leak. I had Figured the one leak needed only a clamp..T.J. The mechanic took the extra few minutes from being so busy and as we looked at it, he pointed out the pipe had quite a few leaks and had no problem fixing it correctly and professionally . Most places would have just tried to hurry through things, but thankfully he is very proud of the reputation on being a mechanic and of his job and made sure it was done perfect. I would recommend this shop to anyone and want to thank them for making sure the exhaust fumes leak was done correctly . Awesome customer service and friendly people throughout the whole business. Cant see the other reviews facts, but as for me.... I would recommend their services to everyone I know. Thanks again!!!!!

Their driver (license plate |339AP) August 1st 2018, was beside me in a double lane, turning onto the highway. Almost hitting my car by slamming the gas - & entering my lane while turning, he then recklessly driving 75mph, swerving like a psycho... I had my 7 year old on the car who was balling her eyes out thinking we’d be “squished”. While I haven’t worked with the company first hand; If they employ people who use their huge “tow” trucks as weapons, trying to “race” tiny cars and think it’s okay... I will personally ensure that no one I know - or am acquainted with - gives this place ANY business. Screen your drivers better if you have any concern for the safety of others. Shame on you guys.

Call out because one wheel of car fell off truck ramp took 3 minutes to fix. truck was right in the area so not far to go and the tip off pieces of garbage charged me 150.00 that was outrageous for 3 minutes would not call them or recommend them to RIP any one else off

Brought Mack truck and trailer for inspection, got it inspected but someone there stole my pewter Mac dog off the keychain which you can’t get anymore because they’ve changed them. Cheap thing to do

They dropped my car off one of their tow trucks. I would say 0 stars. I had to pay out of pocket to fix it. They would not return any calls regarding this. Take your business elsewhere. Simply disappointing.Update: I was reimbursed for the damages, however, it was not national wrecker or their insurance who paid it. Huge headache that could have been avoided.

The truck couldnt move in single digits weather. Called them up. Said theyd be there in 30min. Tim was there right on time. He got down to work and within an hour and half I was back on the road. Happy customer.

Total rip off..mechanics do not know what they are doing. After tearing up dpf sysytem and wanting to charge 14,000 had truck towed to freightliner in portland,me and they fixed in 2 days after they got it in and all it was was the wiring harness...never go to national unless u like getting ripped off...plus they lost the step on the passenger side and wouldnt replace it

National Wrecker has towed a few trucks for me, always have clean equipment the drivers work quick and are very professional. I will always trust them with my trucks.

I would not even give them a one star because that is being too nice. Especially since I am a female and have been treated horribly. Pursuant to New Hampshire law they are only allowed to charge so much money and they must allow an individual to obtain their personal property from their vehicle. When I tried to do this the first time, the man gave me s hard time and argued with me, for no reason. The second man who walked me to my car was asking me what I needed and then yelled at me, locked my car, and said lets go I have things to do! Treatment was horrible and for no just reason. Why do they feel like they are better than others? Boy, this type of authority goes to their heads!

Just used Natl Wrecker. My roadside service told me 90m. I called national and they came in about 20m. Figures out I only had a bad gas gauge. They gave me some gas, followed me to the station and I was off. Very reasonable. Guys were great.

They over quoted me for an air dryer( $836.12) I called Freightliner and the price is only $165 plus core. Total $355. Basically they still people money.

There should be an option for zero stars. I havent even used this company and i never will. My boyfriend and i were on the highway and a huge truck with this company was driving inches away from our car when we were driving in the fast lane. We moved over and he continued to drive inches away from other vehicles putting peoples lives at risk. The trucker instantly moved to the slow lane when he saw my phone out because he knew i was trying to take a picture. This company looks like they are trying to wreck cars just so they can conviently tow them. Shady.

Shady and unprofessional company. Our company work van as well as several other vehicles were run off the interstate by a tractor trailer. We were on the way to tow the vehicle out when the town fire and rescue told us to turn around they would help get our employee out safely. An hour later we get a call from National Wrecker service asking for $140 for a service that was never disclosed as being a charge for. The driver never mentioned a charge for this service before doing the job that the town said would be no charge. When discussing the confusion of the charges on the phone with the driver I was told he was just going to tow the vehicle back to the shop and I could take it up with the owner. Driver was very rude and lacked any compassion. Needless to say we are now out $140 for something we were going to gladly do ourselves in a much more timely fashion. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting before doing business with this company.

Let me first start by saying that the only reason my review is one star is because I cant write one with 0 stars. This company is shady. I was ripped off. Between the insane rate and the damage they caused to my vehicle I dont know what to say. I was very frustrated that they hooked to my vehicle without my consent. They did severe damage like I said. Was charged 140 dollars to have my vehicle destroyed and brought 1/2 a mile before they let me switch to my wrecker company. Would never do business again, would not recommend to someone I hated.
