I have now been to this nail salon three times and the last two times were disappointments. They always seem rushed, traded out nail techs several times (I had 4 different people work on me throughout my time there- seemed like they left me for a preferred customer), and don’t put the quality of care in that’s deserved for the price. This last time I went my dip manicure took an hour and a half and was extremely messy. Four customers came and went in the time I was there. It appeared that the nail tech was not experienced the way the other staff were watching her. The dip polish got all over my skin, it ran over my nail beds, and the hour of corrections did not make the final product much better. When I told her they felt messy twice she tried to correct it but it was too difficult to correct at that point. The owners did not acknowledge the mistake and I was still charged $45. I’m sad to say I won’t be coming back here.

The pedicure was good but the manicure was not. I got it done while in the pedicure chair and the woman doing my nails was clearly rushed. She skipped lots of steps, and didn’t allow enough time to dry the shellac (wouldn’t even finish one cycle under the light). I told her I wasn’t satisfied with the outcome and she acted upset that she had to fix it. The second time around she was very rough and didn’t put effort into the rest of the manicure. I left still very unsatisfied with the nails, as they are bumpy, uneven and sloppily painted.

Ive gone to several nail salons in the NW district of Portland, and Savannah Nails is, in my opinion, the best so far. They communicate well, and are no nonsense.

Savannah is the best nail place in Nob Hill. Their staff is very friendly also. My nails always look great after I go here, and they dont chip or wear as quickly as other places.

Always the best, kind and receptive with professional nail care. Always come back! Call an hour before you want to come by.

I was there for two hours. One of the nail techs tried to wedge nails tips underneath the front of acrylic that was on my short natural nails. The other cut my skin pretty badly. Then the polish was bumpy. The nail tech made jokes about it and said I have bad skin. No, they are just squeezing too many people in and rushing which is resulting in poor quality. They charged me $51 for that waste of my time. Mind you it was one color and they messed up left and right. There is a big gap between the color and the base of my nail on one nail. It looks terrible. I’m not going back.

My friend and I walked into Savannah Nails today for my birthday manicure. The moment we entered the salon, the staff greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm and continued to accommodate us throughout our visit. Both of the nail techs had great personalities, sense of humor, and were extremely talented artists. Anyone who is reading this knows how difficult it can be to find a nail salon that has the quality and quantity youre looking for all in one place but let me assure you that Savannah Nails has it all-great service, quality work, relaxing atmosphere, and over 100 selections of amazing nail colors. This salon, through its friendly, funny, and talented staff is a true treasure of NW Portland. My friend and I had one of the best mani pedi experiences of our lives here and we cant wait to go back. SAVANNAH NAILS-THE EPITOME OF A 5-STAR SALON!

I got a gel mani-pedi... Its sloppy, full of gaps and bumps in the layers. My nails arent symmetrical to each other, the polish doesnt go to the edges, or all the way down to the cuticles that were pretty much butchered. All four massages were weak and about 2 minutes each. Ive paid less for better nails and friendlier staff. I suppose Ill try somewhere in the Pearl district next. I tipped far too generously

The over all experience was ok. My only complaints are the acrylic nails.They arent completely smooth, lumpy on most of them on my right hand, have divots in three of them. The tips are top heavy with little acrylic between the tip and the bace of the nail. Strangely only on my right hand.This makes them easier to brake off.The geil polish dosent cover to the edges on a few fingers.Didnt notice most of this until I got home, Unfortunately my anxiety and ontop of me needing to sleep for a early night shift in 6 hours I didnt request a redo. If you have time to be picky then come down. My nail technician of 10 years was Tina as well as the shop owner. Disappointed and probably wont return.

After a scheduling miscommunication, the team went far out of their way to accommodate our giant group so that we could be ready for the big wedding! We couldnt be happier with the relaxing pampering and beautiful work. Cant wait to go back again. Thank you so much!

First time there and would definitely recommend

Me and my friends came here to get manicure, and we didn’t love the service. While one of our nail techs did pretty well, our other one really wasn’t great. The service felt very rushed at took about a total 10 minutes minus drying time. We payed 20 dollars each to get a manicure and a hand massage. I was expecting to have like a scrub and lotion ( like other salons), but instead they just put some lotion on our hands and then let it sit. Our manicures weren’t very clean and never really fully covered the nail( in some cases, going outside the nail). I’m sorry to complain, but I’m not sure how sanitary the shop itself was. They didn’t wash the tools in between uses and while it didn’t bother me because I was with my friends, I was a bit concerned about the fact that the most likely didn’t wash them from the customers before us. Overall, I would not recommend coming here. It may be and ok place to get acrylics, I would NOT recommend going to get a manicure. And definitely not for a pedicure. The tubs themselves were extremely unsanitary and yellow.

I got a full set And a pedicure and I was very impressed with the variety of colorscleanliness and friendly and outgoing. So I will definitely be returning they sent me right into their schedule and were very nice. I would definitely give this 5 stars, and Ive been to a lot of nail places in Portland. So dont waste any more time and goes all them what youd like and theyre more than willing to help. Thank you

A friend of mine turned me on to this place years ago, and I am so happy she did! Ive gone here every time I have had acrylics and I have always been so happy with the results. Many years ago I came here and got beautiful stiletto black nails, which turned out great and just recently I came in and got some beautiful more natural acrylics done. Needless to say their range of quality nails is large and well executed.

The service is quick yet higher quality compared to services that have taken twice the time. I feel pampered and listened to. I visited this establishment yesterday evening around 2:30 for a manicure. I’d seen it during one of my walks around the neighborhood. There was no greeting upon me entering. Once I was acknowledge I informed the technician that I would like a manicure which per the signage through out the store stated it was $13. The tech displayed absolutely NO customer service, the only time she spoke to me during the rushed manicure was to ask if I wanted my nails cut short. Other patrons enter and are offered beverages immediately after sitting at a station. I received none of that great customer service. To add to the horrible experience the tech charges my card $2 more than the pricing on ALL of the marketing (I have pictures), I guess she figured the black man won’t tip so let me add one. I asked her why’d she do it and literally received a giggle as a response. There was so much wrong with this experience. I would’ve rather led them refuse me service.

This is the BEST place in Portland to get your acrylics! Just by chance I asked someone where they got their nails done because it looked so good and they sent me here. The place is family run and everyone is so sweet. They are very meticulous and never skimp on quality even when its busy. All if the friends Ive brought here keep coming back 😊 you will not be disappointed! ❤️

I love going here for my pedicure. The staff is very nice and dont ask a lot of questions about my injury/scars on my left foot. They are gentle to the injury area, but not too gentle. I have always had a good experience for the 10+ years I have been going here on and off. Honest prices and upfront costs.

I have been coming here to see Tina and Lee for over 15 years. They are like family. The work their salon does is consistently fantastic. I have been to many other salons in the area. Always end back up here🙏

If you get one of the owners, your nails usually look great. Anyone else, its hit and miss. Today was a big miss and I wont be going back again. My gel paint is incredibly lumpy and has tons of air holes. Unfortunately its quite noticeable because I got a brighter color.Also I find it gross that they dont wear gloves. Today my manicurist made me bleed and I just found it disgusting that he was trying to stop the bleeding with ungloved hands.

Great pedicure!They did a great pedicure for us while my friends were in town visiting. They did take awhile because they were busy. We had walked in with no appt and had our feet in water with the massage chair going while waiting. There was an extra charge for using a card so take cash. It’s like $2 charge so not bad.The woman doing my feet didn’t speak a lot of English but she was very nice and did a killer foot massage! I will definitely be back :)

Customer service was AMAZING! So satisfied! The gentleman that did my nails was so understanding and friendly. And their prices were unbelievable. I was expecting to pay over $60 to get them fixed because of the mistakes a lady in Washington did but nope! I was so pleased with the service and atmosphere. Definitely now my go to place!

What a great place. We were welcomed, offered some wine, and were made to feel at home. The staff was friendly, laughed a lot, and did a great job with my pedi. And the price was downright reasonable. A spectacular value. We will definitely be back.

Best acrylics Ive ever had. Ive been to Lace beauty and all the more expensive places but the husband and wife who work here are SO good. They place could use a good cleaning. But other than that, they are my go to spot. They have been doing acrylics for 18 years.

I love Savanna Nails. I was visiting from out of town and need acrylic fills. Found these guys through a combination of a Google Search and reviews on Yelp. A quick call and a gut instinct led me here. They were exactly what I wanted. Lee gave me a brand new acrylic set because it was time. Reasonably priced, quick and very good. I knew I was in the right place because they had neighborhood folks coming in and regulars. Please go there whenever youre staying in Portland. The Peal District is so cute and fun. Wish Id had time to come back for a pedicure.

I have been going to Savannah Nails since 2005 when a group of us ladies from my office happen to walk into their shop for a girls day out - Lee and Tina are absolutely wonderful and their service is amazing! Ive taken/referred so many people there and they have all been pleased with the service. I will not go anywhere else!

We were visiting from out of state and my 10 year old daughter needed her nails done for a wedding. After searching for places this was one of the only places open super early. We visited between 8-9am which worked for our schedule. A plus!! They had 4 customers getting pedicures done when we walked in. The signage for a mani/pedi was $30 very reasonable! Another plus! Did not see a kids menu, most places normally do. She choose to have shellac done only for her manicure knowing it would be an additional charge. After getting her settled 4 more customers walked in after us. They turned 1 away and sat the other 3. Wow were they busy!! I felt at ease in knowing this was a great establishment. Mani pedi looked awesome and my little human was happy! They were packed and busy and we wanted to get out of there to free up a seat. I was never given a receipt of services but handed her my CC knowing it would be a lil over $30. The female worker was on the phone when I was paying and I quickly asked as she was walking away with my CC how much she paused turned around and said $60 and quickly swiped my CC. Now I was shocked how could a 10 year olds mani/pedi be $60 ?? When she returned I asked how much was each service she smiled while still on the phone and handed me the pen and receipt. I do not think she spoke well English so I obliged signed the receipt and left feeling a bit taken advantage of. Since we were in a hurry to get to rehearsals we left me feeling confused and upset. Its a month and a half later and I still have a sense of bitter uneasiness. The place is cute and yes they were friendly but before paying ask how much...just wished I did before handing over my CC 😞

I knew the first time I came here (a few weeks ago) that I would never go to another salon again! The gel manicures are the best Ive had and they take their time so they look flawless. I went back again today, after having a stressful day at work, and the lady came around the table and gave me a 10 minute back rub before she did my nails. They genuinely are happy to work with you and it shows!

I wont be back honestly. The man doing my pedicure lifted my shorts up without asking so he could get a full view of my thigh tattoo. It made me very uncomfortable. He kept touching it and asking me how much it cost. Maybe he was genuinely admiring it...idk. Ive been to places that looked cleaner and my gel manicure started chipping after 2 days.

Great prices, very clean, and a lasting paint job. I went to another salon on 21st and it did not compare to Savannah Nails. Kevin also gives a mean foot rub!

Beat acrylics Ive ever gotten and at a good price

This salon has terrible customer service. I came in to get a full set and was yelled at by a bald man when he got the length of the nail i wanted wrong. He was very rude and snappy with me. I then asked for another person to do my nails and he rudely stormed off. The overall demeanor of the employees was unpleasant. Definitely will never go back.

Lee and Tina are excellent and so is their entire staff...they have been doing my nails since 2005 and I wont go anywhere else!

The reviews on here rated this salon highly so I took my girlfriend here when she was in town visiting. We were both very disappointed with the the quality of service. We were barraged with requests to up the service we were getting. (you should get spa pedicure, you should add manicure for only $10 more, you should get a flower) They rushed us in and out quickly and did not put time or care into giving quality service. I would not go back here and feel the reviews on here are too high. I know it is only a $25 pedicure but I have definitely had a much better experience and left with a nicer pedicure for that much or less.
