This was a fun activity the guide was great he was patient and knowledgeable about the horses. We were able to let them run as fast as we were comfortable with them going. I would recommend True Sky Stables to anyone thinking of learning to ride.

I feel so blessed we found this place for my granddaughter! We are new to riding and Trudy is always around cleaning and doing chores and makes herself available for our many questions and shares her insight and advise freely. Saida is a patient and skilled instructor, perfect for a 6 y/o. I feel safe here, which is so important these days. Thank you guys so much for welcoming Gianna into the family!

I could rave about this place quite a bit. I could also give all the details as to why I adore it - ranging from how beautiful the horses are and taken care of to how peaceful the trails are and even how great the people there are. I definitely could go in to great detail but instead, I suggest everyone try it out for themselves so they can see why this place has the rating it does. Coming from a different ranch to True Sky really allowed me to understand how special this place is. I dont plan on going anywhere else.

My friend and I had a great time. It had been years since either of us had been riding. Our guide Derrick was a nice gentlemen & took us on a 3hr trail ride. We definitely plan on going back. I also plan on taking my daughter for lessons and to volunteer in the near future. We will be recommending True Sky Stables to all of our friends.

To celebrate our anniversary during a pandemic, we decided to try something new and fun. A trail ride at a local stable was perfect.My wife has never ridden and I have precious little experience; True Sky Stables accommodated us with very well mannered horses and a capable guide who walked with us, providing tips while we rode. Our safety as well as the horses was clearly a priority.Many neighboring homes have horses and passing cars obligingly slowed while passing.I am quite pleased with my experience and happy my wife was able to have this opportunity due to their expertise and emphasis on safety.

My husband surprised me with this birthday gift! Being a Virginia girl, I sure do miss the presence of 🐎. This was everything ! We took a peaceful walk on the trail. Derek was amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable. He gave some history on the horses we rode and others. We got to Gallup and the horses personalities really shined through! Pro tip...secure all sunglasses before breaking into a full trot LOL. This was a wonderful time and worth every penny! Thank you True Sky for hosting us.

I love this place! Trudy runs a great barn and Saida is a great teacher for my niece. I actually look forward to coming here now. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable

Amazing place! Very relaxing and open. The instructors seem more like family and everyone genuinely enjoys their time. I’ve been riding here for a few years now and True Sky Stables has become a second home for me. I’m so grateful for the people and experiences I’ve had and will continue to have. Each horse is loved and cared for and and their health is always the top priority. My Saturday mornings at the barn are the highlight of my week!

I have been with True Sky Stables for almost 9 years. I have never met someone with a bigger heart than Trudy. She has always been helpful, thoughtful, and makes sure EVERYONE is taken care of. The horses always come first, and receive the best care! True Sky Stables isnt just any other barn. Its a safe haven, a home away from home, and its where Ive met many great people. Even when I first came to TSS, I knew I was always welcomed.

God truly blessed me when I met Trudy at True Sky Stables. She taught me everything I needed to know about owning a horse. She has also taught my daughter to become a confident rider. I would recommend True sky and Trudy as a trainer to everyone!

I booked a 1.5 hr trail ride with two tweens. Derek was great and very patient with our inexperienced group. It was a great trail ride thru Brooker preserve. Horses were calm with no surprises.

This is Giselle, Christine daughter. i love this place i have been there for almost 2 years and was never disappointed. I started off on a pony and was trained by Trudy who was absolutely amazing. i started off not knowing anything and here i am showing. It is a great fun barn that does barn shows and loves hanging out. Its very laid back and i love it. My mom loves the place and feels at home there. i now have an amazing horse who im hoping to get somewhere with. If you have a child who wants to get into horseback riding you should go here it has a great staff and great trainers.

This place is perfect for your horses it’s a clean barn I’ve been in this barn for 5-6 years but it all feels like a huge family but there’s sometimes foster drama with people But this barn is a great place

The farm is beautiful and spacious and clean. The owner, Heather and her crew are awesome and knowledgeable and kind, but most of all care for all equines with love as if they were there own. I highly recommend them.

I bought my pony from there and was very supported by the staff. I did however think that the paperwork was not handled professionally and I would have stayed there if it were. (example: proof of strangles vaccine was required prior to boarding - although some vets do not do the vaccine unless you ask for it which I dont agree with). There was some unnecessary drama - which can happen at any stable but was unfortunate to have this. Overall, my experience was *positive* !!!The boarders of the horses were the salt of the earth and the atmosphere was very laid back.

I rode on the horse named Sunday. Great and very well behaved! Definitely recommend going to True Sky Stables again!

I have been taking lessons there for the past year, and I have never felt more at home then at true sky stables. I have learned so much from Trudy, and admire how she puts the horses needs first .she really gives all of herself and more to that barn and the people who go there.
