Jeff is the BEST barber in my opinion for me and my family here in Oregon. I originally moved here 9 years ago from Brooklyn NY. I give you my word I have had my hair cut by some of the best barbers in NYC or so I thought. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to find a barber who would would know how to cut my hair. I am a woman of a certain age. I put Jeff at the top of that list of excellent barbers who can give a haircut to a women with short hair. I don’t let anyone else cut my hair or my sons hair for that matter. Jeff listens to what u want, and is very attentive to his clients. Even if you bring him something from a magazine he’s got you covered. He delivers 200% all the time. I’ve honestly never been disappointed. The atmosphere is always pleasant, respectful and there is never any vulgar language used I.e kid/women friendly. Quality of service is excellent. It’s clean, and Jeff is Very Professional!!!!

I am black and its hard to find a great barber, but its no problem for Jeff. Thirty dollar flat fee, whole head and line up! Having cash is best, but he has some other options. Jeff the Barber is the best priced barber in town. His new spot has got lounge couches, cable to watch those blazers and even has video games to play while you wait. Adam cut my hair, low skin fade with a little longer on top... I’m not from the area and I mentioned how high the shop’s rating was and he joked “I guess I have Portland’s reputation in my hands”. I normally don’t write reviews but after three days with this hair, I feel I owe it to Adam. This is by far the best hair cut I’ve had in my life! And I get cut every two weeks for 20 years or so now. I just had a Portland local street performer on 23d compliment me on my hair cut... if that isn’t the pinnacle of cool giving hair props, I don’t know what is. I mean that is right up there with props when walking by an all black barbershop in NYC. Absolutely crushed it Adam!

I like to get a specific type of haircut which many people cannot do. Jeff cut it exactly how I asked to and to my liking! Price is definitely worth the cut! In specific, if you like a tight close fade, Jeff is your man!

Jeff is fantastic. I go with my son every six weeks or so and he never disappoints! He gives the best cuts I have ever had and we always walk away happy. Its a classic Barbershop experience (talk sports, current events etc.) but also very family friendly when you have kids with you. Jeff makes sure they are taken care of whether its watching a cartoon or playing Nintendo games, he keeps them content and excited to be there. Which is key as they need to be occupied while getting a haircut or waiting for dad while he gets his cut. I wholeheartedly endorse, Jeff! THE BEST barber in PDX!

Ive been getting my hair cut by Jeff for going on 3 years now. Always end up leaving with a better haircut than I planned on getting. I usually have a rough idea of what I want and he is able to give suggestions from his experience on what will look best. First time he cut my beard I was terrified because I had never cut it before but it looked so much better after the shape up and trim. Got a cheapo haircut one time when I was out of town and it was terrible. Jeff fixed it. Not only do you get a great haircut, but the atmosphere is great. Jeff is a funny mofo and its always a great time. I recomend him to everyone in the area. For as long as Im in portland this is where Ill be going. Love the new shop too!
