I went in for an ankle injury which they took care of just fine. Infact the care I got was great. Only thing that they suck at is they cant email me a return to work letter. They told me they dont have the capability to email. I dont live in the area and would have to drive a couple hours to pick one up. Wont even allow someone else to pick it up if I verified all required information. What a joke. Who doesnt have email capability? Its 2021.
I went in for the first time and the visit was Great. All the staff was nice and friendly. The Dr. was great. The whole Urgent Care was clean and they are open 7 days a week. I highly recommend this facility.
I have never dealt with a group of people who are totally unable to communicate. They all talk to you like you are 5, or stupid. It took me 7 hours to get a prescription called into the correct pharmacy. Then I couldnt pick it up because two pharmacies had it and my insurance wouldnt pay. When I got home I couldnt walk. I have a really painful foot and all the pharmacy going had me walking on it all day.
Do not visit here -- there are so many better urgent care facilities in the area who employ kind, competent individuals. They misdiagnosed my mothers clogged heart artery (which required a stint) as GERD. Yep, they told a 66-year old woman presenting with obvious symptoms of a heart issue with acid reflux. Truly, go somewhere else.
We have always loved going here. The providers are amazing but the front desk receptionists are very rude and don’t know how to smile. I went in there today and they were on edge. They weren’t friendly at all, they changed my mood from being happy to really irritated with how they acted towards all of the patients in there. We understand that you switched programs and we had to refill out paperwork but having bad attitudes towards the patients lost our business completely. We will be going else where from now on!!! This place would be amazing again if the receptionists were a little nicer!
I had the misfortune of meeting Randy when I moved here. He insulted our veterans, equated me to Pavlovs slobbering dog, and asked me if I had an intellectual disability. (A really bizarre question that I have never been asked and still cant understand why he asked)He lacks tact and acts privileged in regards to mental health and people in general. Hes the type of person who thinks diagnosed illnesses can be solved in a day with simple techniques. Over 10+ years of counseling and I have NEVER met somebody so out of touch with the people they are supposed to be helping.Dont waste your time with Randy (or the other staff based on other reviews). Theres more compassionate providers in the area.
Have never really had a bad experience here until today! My wife is a lot of pain has been heavily bleeding with her monthly cycle for 17 days now! She was in there a few days ago and they gave her a prescription abd told her it should start to lessen in 3 days and be stopped by day 10, if not gotten better to call back in a few days to discuss. Well, she called today and was transferred to someone on staff. She explained what problem was and was laughed at, actually laughed at. When she mentioned the problem with very heavy bleeding, was laughed at again. People dont go to these places cause they want to, they have to. To just be laughed at ... she is in tears now and still has this problem! Thanks for nothing. Perhaps a new staff would solve the problem. You are suppose to care, but obviouly only about the money.
The front staff great. We were there over 2 hrs and not even close to being seen. Were there any doctors there? We just left. People walking in then turning around and leaving. Horrible!!!
Nicole is awesome!!!! She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer your questions.
I went to this facility on Yellowstone yesterday. The front desk was pleasant and asked me to fill out new paperwork and kept me informed of when I would be called back. I have been here a number of times and never had a bad experience with anyone. The facility is always clean. My visit yesterday was done efficiently and I appreciate that. What I did NOT appreciate is that only one receptionist was wearing a mask, but they were behind glass so I didnt worry. There were masks available to the public and only 3 of the 6 people waiting were masked. Worst of all NEITHER THE NURSE, NOR THE DR/PA WHO TREATED ME WERE WEARING MASKS! I am sorry to say that both of these medical professionals acted a little put out when I asked them to mask up while in the room with me. The nurse even said I will try to find one. The Dr/PA put on a mask, but did not cover his nose. (By this time I just gave up.) WTH? This is a medical facility! Idaho is in a spike of the Delta variant, and we have only 45%-47% of our population vaccinated. The CDC has made it very clear we should be wearing masks indoors in public spaces. I wont get into my personal feelings about anti-vaxxers, but it is not too much to expect our medical community to BE A BETTER EXAMPLE. I sincerely hope people read this review and mask up. We also have the right to ask those serving us to do the same. The people who deliver my groceries to my car are always wearing a mask, it is not too much for those in the medical field to do the same.
I’ve always been treated with great care and attention to detail here. I would highly recommend.
It was a long wait but worth it. They listened and were quick to help me out.
Horrific medical care if you can even call it that. They have a lot of staff members that have issues with prejudice. This place needs to be more professional and leave their biases off shift.
Went in to be seen and was turned away because they had an hour wait. Instead of being told we are running a little behind and may be a wait. I asked what they felt like I should do. Little boy yes little looked like he was 14 states well if it’s an emergency go to the hospital. Excuse me sir or rather son,if I wouldn’t be in an urgent care had I felt I had an emergency and secondly I don’t bombard emergency rooms for non-emergent issues! Learn some professionalism and better yet,ask a nurse to triage before sending a patient away for any reason! Shame on you!
When I went into physicians, I was told it would be over an hour wait. I wanted to speak to a manager regarding the way I was being spoken to. I almost feel like it had to do with my race, as I am a black woman. Charity could care less about my complaint and even laughed in my face about it. Never coming back here again!
I was covid tested last weekend at this place and came back negative. The provider then told me that it may have been too early to detect and that if I got worse or developed new symptoms to come back. So... I went back this morning (after a weeks worth of being the sickest Ive ever been) because I started coughing up blood. The girl at the desk was rude, the nurse was kind, and the provider (a different one) spent all of 2 minutes with me just to send me home with an antibiotic script and the proverbial pat on the head. The provider completely brushed me off. Did they forget the CARE in healthcare?!
I was trying to call to pay on a bill, I called 11 times before someone answered the line (this is not the first time) and when I expressed my concerns to the receptionist she said Weve been busy. And hung up on me. I am generally understanding and patient, but I dont appreciate having my concerns brushed to the side and then ignored.
My husband came here and was so glad he did.He went to his regular doctor and found out he had a canker on the roof of his mouth in the back. After 10 days of barely eating, barely sleeping, only being able to say a few words, and the mouth wash his regular doctor prescribed not working, he told me if Id drive, hed go to any walk in clinic or urgent care I took him to.We came here.He said the doctor he saw was really nice and helped him quickly. He was in and out of the clinic within a few minutes AND smiling. He told me for the first time he felt heard and NOT ignored or told he had other issues. We got his prescription and within a few minutes my husband perked up. When we got home, he went and took a nap. He slept more in a few hours than he had in the last 10 days!He woke up and said he still was in pain, but did feel better. He looked and acted like he felt better. He left for work this morning and said he felt better. He was glad I took him here.I highly recommend this place!
New to town, looking for primary care. Wont be here. Been calling all afternoon and no one answers. Its Wednesday, theyre open. Probably wont use them as urgent care either if this is the way they conduct business.
I took my daughter in with a broken leg. It was the weekend so assumed that would be the best place until I could get into ortho. She had her tibia fractured they were not gentle with her at all. They didn’t show us the X-rays and the put her in a boot instead of a splint. The boot caused considerable pain. Every time she would get up, she was screaming out in pain. I finally took her to the ER, because she was hurting so badly. They put her in a splint and the pain subsided almost immediately. Both the ER Dr and the Ortho Dr agreed it was ridiculous to have used a boot on her. She was in extreme pain for 2 days, because of their incompetence. I am really not impressed.
Open late and very helpful and friendly.
I have always Loved this clinic and the care we receive. But I am currently in the waiting room waiting for a Covid test for one of my children. The clinic management has taken great steps to have safety protocols in place. They are requiring masks, yet the 2 office personnel working the front desk have their marks down around their chins. They are both very unpleasant and greeted us with a short and abrupt demeanor.I feel its a sad representation of the business and the care and concern for details they have always had.
My doctor sent over a referral to get a cast on my sons arm. I get there after work, they told me they don’t have the referral. I asked them to call Physicians in Chubbuck? They girl behind the reception desk said that they weren’t answering then immediately looked back at her computer. both receptionist ignored me. They didn’t ask if I wanted to still be seen nothing! I will never go here again. Worse service ever! And I’m a Nurse.
I recently went here for moderate to severe abdominal pain and an itchy rash quickly covering my body. The receptionists were very nice, as was the lady that led me to a room and did the preliminary questions. The man that followed her, however, saw me for about three minutes in total. He never addressed my stomach pain and just told me to take Zyrtec and Benadryl until the rash supposedly cleared up in a week (its mostly subsided, but I still have it a month later).Turns out it was comorbid celiac disease (which I knew I had, but did not think was the culprit) and dermatitis herpetiformis (which I did not know I had since its never manifested before and had to go elsewhere to find out). I wouldnt say this is my worst experience Ive had with a medical professional, but its certainly up there. Im just glad I had the pleasure of speaking to such kind reception staff during and after my visit.
Went in for a second opinion for coughing up small amounts of blood, they refused to see me. Receptionist had a bad attitude as well. I even offered to pay cash! This should say something.
COVID testing for airline flight. If you are coming to get a COVID test they WILL NOT give you one if you do not have symptoms. They instead take $125. to say there going to test you, they make you see the doctor, then say no you have no symptoms and I cannot give you a test. So if you need it for your flight you are out of luck. Oh and they keep your $125.00 because that’s for the 5 minute doctor visit. What a joke.
I went in to have a spot on my chest/breast looked at that I’ve been very concerned about the doctor sent me home with a prescription without even looking at it.
Love to go here when my kids primary doc is unavailable. Quick service, even when the parking lot is full. Caring, educated staff.
Dr. Wes was amazing. I am terrified of going to doctors and he mde me feel comfortable and safe. He didnt go straight to pain killers for my knee he helped my find an alternative for caring for my knee. Hes not afraid to have another dr double check just to make sure he got everything right. Hes not full of himself and i appreciate that in a dr. He joked. He had fun. I am so happy he is going to be my primary dr now. I dont think i will have an issue going to the dr anymore as long as it is at physicians care center on yellowstone.
Been here twice for urgent care, was seen immediately and treated with the utmost respect both times. I appreciate how quick the tests are ran as well as their hours - open till 11:30 PM. 5 stars, fully recommend!
I went to this Urgent Care around 8:30 pm last night, hardly any wait time and I was glad for that considering I was in extreme pain. My only complaint was being asked to complete the mental health questions that I left blank. Personally, I dont think its their business asking me mental health questions when Im there for something completely unrelated. They had me get up and hobble over to the desk to complete their 2 irrelevant, invasive questions. Overall, the girl at the front was nice and the provider was super nice and helpful. I really felt like he listened to me and what I was there for.
Went in for a work-related injury on my back because my feet were numb my back was numb and my fingers were numb the physician on call was not thorough enough did not give me any x-rays or pain medication but had the decency to tell my wife if he gets home and can not move and Perales sets in then it would be an emergency front desk staff was very inconvenienced to take care of a doctors note that they gave me after asking very politely to change the date to one more date ahead and proceeded to conversate while other patients were trying to get their attention went to portneuf Medical Center for a second opinion where they gave me the correct diagnosis for my back they also gave me pain meds to make the pain go away highly would not recommend this clinic
My daughter went here and had a covid test, she was positive. The front desk staff was horribly rude to her and when i went in they were awful. So rude, rolled her eyes and acted like it was a huge inconvenience to do her job. Also, they absolutely refused to advise our whole household to quarantine, no wonder this virus is spreading the way it is.
Very friendly staff, helpful. quick with getting me X-rays, Dr was very good and honest.
Showed up 20 mins before closing, door was locked and was denied care. After knocking on the window and getting the lady just sitting at the front desk to the door, They quoted “pharmacies are Closed right now, nothing we can do for you sorry. Besides all our rooms are full” as their parking lot is completely bare of vehicles. My symptoms didn’t require an ER, however so I was left to suffer until further notice. Absolutely poor customer service!
This place used to have a great front desk staff but the girl that was there recently was rude. She didn’t acknowledge me until I asked to be checked in so I could be seen. She was sitting with her feet on the desk and acted very inconvenienced by having to help me. The provider and nurse that saw me were great! It’s too bad their check-in staff is so terrible.
Literally the most unfriendly people answering the phone. In the middle of a pandemic, wouldn’t you prefer people not just drop by with questions? I’ve worked in customer service for quite a long time and, sadly this facility is lacking in this area.
Terrible service, did not update my patient profile and never sent bill to correct address, then sent it to collections. I also have recieved previous owners bills. Previous owner moved 5 YEARS AGO. When calling in no one answers phone.
Lady at the front desk was niceCMA who roomed is was greatNot impressed with the DrCame in with a problem I don’t think he wanted to deal withDid the minimalWished he would have been upfrontWon’t be going back here
Do not go here if you believe in the pandemic or you may be come infected. They are not following CDC guidelines.🤔
This place was a great medical care center. Everyone working here was super nice and super helpful. They worked quick and professionally to get me taken care of. Couldnt be more happy.
Excellent service. Happened to get a very short wait which is unusual for most walk-in clinics. Jim McGregor, NP-C was very thorough and I would recommend him. Mark was on the nursing side was very helpful as well.
Weve had to go here twice in the last month for our little boys ear infection. Each time we were greeted by thee best doctors that made him feel comfortable. We were very impressed with how they interacted with a child. Made the experience that much better.
Doctor Adam thinks i would go there on Sunday night for drugs. I felt down on my back and all what he offers was ibuprofen and ice. Such a great job. You are not supposed to judge people you are not God.
Great place. Friendly and very helpful staff.
If your in pain go to ER. Apparently if your in pain you must be a drug addict. I even took documentation of what was wrong with me. Place just wants money and they are rude going about getting that from you right away. Spent the $125 to be seen and meds did not ease my pain. They recommended me go somewhere else that was $200 dollars a visit.
My daughter was sick and the childrens clinic was closed for the day so we took her to Physicians Immediate Care. I have no complaints the staff was very friendly and not only did they take care of my daughter they also made her feel comfortable and welcome(my daughter is two and hates going to the doctor) so for them to be able to do that was an added bonus. Great Place and Great Staff.
These people are friendly and fast-working. Both the nurses and the doctors are very kind, and they make you feel at ease - something that I dont always feel when at a doctors office! The receptionist is very kind, too. Thanks for your great work, Physicians Immediate Care Center!
Helped with my daughters broken toe; the doctor gave us a CD with x-ray images (as we are traveling and will need them back home) and an extra shoe (meaning two) for setting her toe as we dont wear outdoor shoes inside the house.
I’ve been seen a dozen times by the professional healthcare providers at physicians immediate care in Pocatello. They’ve always been kind, caring, and respectful towards me. They’re helpful and informative on the things that concerned me. Thanks physicians for always being good to me.
This is written by Peggy Larsen and not Carter Morrison. If I could give you zero stars I certainly would. Your front desk person is very unprofessional. She announced that I had bad debt that I needed to pay before I could be seen. I am double insured. Needless to say I left and went elsewhere. I called the billing clerk later that day and of course I owed nothing. You really need to either train your people or fire them. I will never be back and will never take any of my family there.
Great experience. Every time weve had an accident on Sunday or Saturday night they have been fantastic and taken care of as quickly. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
I have never been to a more ignorant business. I would not suggest them, the emergency room does a better job than the callow reseptionist and nurses.
Very rude receptionist. very unprofessional when it comes to getting people checked in.
They have always been helpful, professional and caring.
Very ignorant, indignant staff. Nichole Manning has no business interacting with patients, let alone being a Physicians Assistant. She makes medical decisions based upon her own bias. She lied to cover up her judgmental attempt to invalidate an illness that she is, very obviously, incapable of understanding. She should have no place in the Medical field.Unless you enjoy being judged by your medical history and/or illnesses, you should avoid Physicians Immediate Care at all cost.
Nobody to answer the phone. I call and get a voice mail that is full. Doesnt sound like the place to go for medical help if they cant even answer a phone
Daughter was in bad shape extremely ill, they got her in quickly and she felt so much better fast.. they diagnosed what was going on quickly and got her started on an IV right away, they were extremely professional and courteous..Titus was a great Dr n very nice and caring and at a price that is extremely affordable😊😊
While visiting town, my 3 year old daughter needed to be seen. Upon walking into the clinic, I was impressed with how clean and nice it was. Our wait was no longer than 10 minutes, and my daughter was examined by Nic Hale. Him and his nurse were very attentive to my daughter, all while making her feel comfortable. Before they finished running test, Nic was spot on as to knowing what my daughter had ( a very rare diagnosis). They answered all my questions and directed us in the right direction for aftercare. I’ll definitely keep this clinic as my go to for any future needs. Thanks PHC!
Watch out!!!!! I called and scheduled a doctors visit for my 6 year old son and I. I was told on the phone that it would be a regular wellness check up cost. I got my bill and it was $165.00 per person!!!! $330 total. Not the average cost of a doctor visit her locally. What a scam. When I called about the cost of the bill they told me they didnt believe me and that there is always two side of the story! I hope this helps anybody else out there that is looking for a family physician. Dont be scammed like I was!!!!
Dont go to this place! I called, I was in a great deal of pain needed a few days of pain medication until I saw a specialist! They told me to come down, a waste of time! In No uncertain terms I told that what I thought about their facility! The conversation became heated, staff threatened to call the police, I left! First rule of the Hippocratic Oath, Do no harm means absolutely nothing!
We had a really good experience with Jim McGregor. Very grateful for his help.
These asshats are fast because they couldnt care any less about you. This secretary is about the rudest person Ive ever met in my 17 years in the medical industry. The nurse doing my checks attempted to tell me the wrong information about my test. If I had listened to her I could have lost my job and endangered my health. I took my daughter here and she ended up in the emergency room thanks to their advice. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THIS MEDICAL HOBBY SHOP.
I went to check to see if I was pregnant I told the first lady my symptoms and she had me take a test. And after the test came up negative a different nurse or Dr came in to talk to me about other forms of birth control and I clearly and specifically explained to her I didnt care if I had a kid. I wasnt gonna try to prevent it if it happens if my fiance doesnt want one he can wear condoms. She stopped they took blood and after she came back with the results she kept on proceeding to I kept my cool and left as fast as I could. I cannot understand how disrespectful this Dr was. She was a blonde female. I came to check if I had a little one growing inside me. Not getting a lecture on my life choices. Id rather be sick then ever go back to people who think they know what I should do with my body.
These guys are my go-to medical facility for everything but an obvious ER situation. The PAs are knowledgeable and experienced. Wait times are short compared to the ER and a fraction of the cost.Nic Hale probably saved my life in 2011 when he correctly diagnosed my acute appendicitis and expidited a trip to the ER (I thought it was food poisoning).
I was from out of state, And needed to be seen asap. I was in and out in under an hour. The staff was superb and nice. They did everything to help me.
I went there with severe upper abdominal pain, and they sent me home with meds for a mild uti. Luckily I went to the hospital afterwards, because I needed emergency gallbladder surgery.
Im so humiliated by these people! I was a scared, nervous wreck going in with a potential life threatening problem. I called before going in and asked if there was a dr who could take care of my issue and was told yes. First dr I seen wouldnt even touch me! They acted like I was crazy for thinking the things that are going on with me and it was obvious that they didnt believe my situation. Seen the 2nd dr, she was only slightly helpful but still couldnt answer me anything but go to er or go home and do her job for her! Thats why I called first to see if they could treat my condition. The front desk was as joke. Wanted money first hand. Secretary was playing with music on her phone and never acknowledged us. Then to top it all off, I went to Walmart for sports tape and a few items only to see the guy whom helped us at the front desk staring at me and his boyfriend walked by my, turned around headed back to him and said, Is that her? HIPAA PEOPLE!!
I dont know how anybody could say that this place is run down or that the staff is rude. One of the nicest clinics Ive ever been in, very clean, and the staff were extremely polite and nice. Brought in my wife with a nasty knife cut on her finger and in less than 30 minutes we were gone. That 30 minutes included filling out paperwork, waiting, inspection, anesthesia, and 6 stitches. All for a $25 copay. Obviously an urgent care facility isnt somewhere than anyone would want to go to by choice, but I would highly recommend this place for anyone that needs medical attention. Add in the fact that theyre open until midnight and youd be hard pressed to find anything to complain about here.
Great place to be seen unless your an idiot line Emily Mccarthy who is obviously too stupid to know a GREAT doctor or facility.
Nicole Manning has no idea what she is doing or talking about, absolutely no clue about medication so if you plan on getting a prescription DO NOT go here... She told me that ambien is a highly addictive schedule 1 benzo when it’s a schedule 4 light addictive non benzo, she also claims that people with Anxiety don’t need anything to take the edge off because they are extremely dangerous, any one that suffers from depression or anxiety or needs correct medication steer clear, according to her ambien is a sister drug to Xanax.. I’m sorry this lady needs to go back to school.. Xanax might be a bad drug for abusers but not for someone who truly needs it as needed.. I do not recommend this place to anyone ever!!!
I have been going here since they set up shop. Never a bad experience I even turned my parents on to it. They were happy with price and fixing the problem with minimal b.s.
Physicians treated me fairly and professionally. Thank you.
I have gone in a few times and never had an issues the staff and Drs are amazing
Waste of time, waited hour and half and p.a. ran out to next patient,I was still talking to her and she cut me off. Tired and worked 9 hours then got told see another clinic...wow..dont waste your time and money, go to E.R.
Fast. Less than an hour, and everyone was really friendly especially for it being bedtime. Thanks, guys!
I went in to Physicians Immediate Care in Pocatello, feeling like garbage, to get a doctors note for work. It took forever for the doctor to even see me, then he spent 2 minutes with me and told me I had a cold, which actually turned out to be a sinus infection. He then went on to ask me why I couldnt go to work because I just had a cold. After about 5 minutes of arguing with me about why I should go to work sick, he finally reluctantly said he would write a note, but only for one day. I will never go back to Physicians Immediate Care and I would not ever recommend them to anyone, ever. I will also never recommend Dr. Adam(i was never told his last name and he signed the doctors note with the name of the other on call physician) to anyone and I would advise if you do get him as a physician to request another doctor, one who actually cares about people and not just a paycheck.
Horrible people!! They not only are selective about who they serve but when a person is crying in pain they are obstinate and instead insist that the patient is wrong about what was right there when asked. Horrible people and will tell all who ask to avoid his place!
Excellent care by a very caring staff.
Treated us badly because they thought we were low income. The physician (who made this quite clear) refused to see us and told us to go somewhere else. I would never recommend this facility .
This place is a complete JOKE!!! I’ve never cared for Dr Manning and will not go to this place as long as she works there..
Little girl in front of us had a gash above her eye and they wouldnt see her because they couldnt find the number so the poor little girl was stuck waiting because there only concern was money I was next they I presented my insurance and gave them my info next thing you know they wouldnt see me because I owed them money from 5 years ago well when you give up patient care for money this isnt a place I would recommend
Always treated with compassion and care regarding my health concerns.
Always kind and helpful.
Doesnt take all insurance company
Fast efficient friendly
