I had the misfortune of meeting Randy when I moved here. He insulted our veterans, equated me to Pavlovs slobbering dog, and asked me if I had an intellectual disability. (A really bizarre question that I have never been asked and still cant understand why he asked)He lacks tact and acts privileged in regards to mental health and people in general. Hes the type of person who thinks diagnosed illnesses can be solved in a day with simple techniques. Over 10+ years of counseling and I have NEVER met somebody so out of touch with the people they are supposed to be helping.Dont waste your time with Randy. Theres more compassionate providers in the area.
Nicole Manning is prejudice and nonsensical. Do NOT seek her medical opinions she is extremely toxic. She demands answers from her patients and doesnt care if they are triggered or uncomfortable in the process. She abuses her power in her small role in life to ridicule people with mental health issues. Anyone that doesnt acknowledge their patients boundaries is NOT worth seeing. Nicole Manning should be investigated.
This place is wonderful! It’s like family for me. Been going here since 2013. I now live in Salt Lake and choose to continue to make the trip for my appointments. Been very pleased with them!
Great place to go for help. I was having trouble with my anxiety and went here for help with it. Everyone is very genuine and caring.
Want quality mental health care? Keep looking. Ive been going to Physicians Mental Health for over a year now, and have had to go without my meds three times now due to negligence and understaffing. First of all, there are no psychiatrists here, only nurses who write prescriptions. Every time Ive gone by to fix a problem with the prescriptions theyve written, Ive had to wait at least two days until anyone could help me. I went there today to get them to fix my prescription for bipolar meds and they said nobody would be there who could help me for 7 days, and that if I needed meds sooner I should just go to the emergency room. I liked them at first because theyre pretty cheap, but this is just the latest in a series of frustrating experiences where they clearly arent concerned with patients wellbeing. We messed up and now you cant get the meds you need? Do without until next week or go to the emergency room. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you can afford to.
