Tried earlier to book an appointment as a gift for someone else. He made it seem like me booking an appointment was an inconvenience to him. I was willing to pay a deposit if thats what he required but we didnt even get to that step. While Im here Im going to plug some amazing nail artists 💅 @all4liddo in dallas tx and @nailssbynelly, friendly and woman owned 😊
First and LAST! I was asked to send pictures of what I wanted and pictures of current nails. I usually go long but since my nails were pretty short I sent a picture of a short set just to give an idea and see what he could do. LADIES! What I have is NOTHING like what I requested. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t expect a miracle but I also didn’t expect to walk out looking like I let my niece practice for a school project either! The nails are all pointing upward and you can’t tell if he wanted to go square or coffin. I honest to god can’t remember the last time I have been so upset over nails and on top of that you pay 50 deposit PLUS another 50 and that’s just basic! And I know, “but why did you not stop him?” Listen, I was giving the man the benefit of the doubt since he states he’s been doing this for the past 20 years and the pictures on instagram are amazing. NOPE! Unprofessional: Appointment was set for 10a, at 9:30 I’m al ready getting a call from him asking where I was and made it seem as if the appointment was for 9:30 and not 10 and that I was late. After I pointed it out as I was leaving he did apologize for his mistake. I’m not one to leave reviews BUT this is ridiculous and wanted to save someone’s money.
I went to Tom for the first time after seeing his work on IG and omg he slayed my nails!!! He is so kind, intuitive and is a true artist. He is a perfectionist and spent time focusing on every little detail to get my nails and embellishments perfect. I’m glad I found him and I won’t ever be going to anyone else. Tom is amazing.
Disorganized and unprofessional! This is the second time he has messed up scheduling and had the nerve to be unprofessional about it. Take your coins else where. There are plenty of quality nail techs in the north Dallas area that are appreciative and mannerable.
