I waited a long time with my small package while these folks were packing up boxes for moving. I spoke to the desk person and showed him what I had and asked if it would be comparable to the post office. He was very non-committal, so I waited. Once he weighed my package it turned out to cost so much that I decided not to ship it FedEx. The post office was less than a third of the FedEx price! I will think twice about going to ship at FedEx.

Very easy to find. Excellent parking. The gentleman at the counter was exceptionally polite, and was very gentle explaining the updated company mask-rules to the costumer behind me.

I called Fedex to find out if they could give me a self-addressed courier envelope. I was told yes and then drove an hour to the store, only to be told that it cant be done. Worst customer service ever!

Paid extra for quick shipping. Apparently they couldnt find my house, I guess Google or Apple Maps is too difficult for them to use. Ive had dozens if not more packages delivered in the last two years, my guess is the driver didnt even make the attempt.

Every time fedex delivers a package they cant find my house, today i saw the driver go by my house at lest 30mph he didnt even slow down to look for number it is very stressfull then they want me to go all the way to pitsfield to plck it up never have problems with ups or usps thank you

Got a LIVE animal, paid $50 dollars for overnight shipping, I live 10 minutes away MAX from the shipping center, and its been sitting on a truck for the past hour and a half. Common sense would say that the best shipping option would take priority, nevermind that is a live animal and my proximity to the shipping center.

Use UPS, even USPS, to avoid a week of stress and wasted time! This is not for the Pittsfield store in particular, but Fed Ex in general. Multiple calls where I got conflicting information on where my package was. I spoke to people all over the country - TN, TX, god knows - about a package in NY!! There is NO communication locally. How can someone in Texas know what the truck is doing in NY??? Reassurances I would get emails or calls to direct me. Never happened. I had to drive over an hour into another state, got lost in the process, so it ate my day off. When I got to the center, it was something out of dystopian fiction. You are directed into a room with nothing in it, four solid walls, a mirrored window in front of you. No human being. You are directed by a small sign to call a number . WHAT IS THIS????? I am a person. Not a package. Also, over an hour on the phone in all with horrible and ineffective CS. Not the first terrible experience with FedEx. But certainly the last. I will no longer order anything if it is shipped only by Fed Ex with no other option.

Guaranteed delivery by 8pm well after paying $200 for my package/one day shipping I check the tracking and its out for delivery at 10:30am and then somehow its back at the FedEx center at 6pm. Would definitely recommend USPS or UPS over them.

Remember the Soup Nazi episode on Seinfeld? NO BOX FOR YOU!!!! Woman behind the counter was flat-out abusive when we tried to assemble a box for shipping a painting which seemed to require a degree in engineering. She sighed, rolled her eyes in disgust, stomped, and muttered. Incredible that she still works here. We ship art often and will never do business here again. Unless you enjoy public beatings, avoid this place!

That lady man-handled the comics I was shipping. 1970s era Batman Detective Comics--not rare but NOT something you just shove into a box and stuff with packing paper like she did. The comics were almost as wide as the box and required a LOT more finesse than she was using--she literally just SHOVED them in there. Very pissed at her. Client told me they arrived looking a little rough.. That woman isnt unfriendly.. I just wish she wasnt so clueless.

They refused to hold my package at this location because it required a signature. Instead, Fedex decided it was acceptable to hold my package 40 miles away in Albany. I was forced to take a day off of work just to be able to stay home and sign for my package instead of driving an hour from my home to pick it up. Theyre completely ridiculous and I will avoid using Fedex at all costs in the future.

Only giving this place one star because there is no option for zero stars.The woman behind the counter was so rude and abusive that we took the item we were trying to ship ( a small painting) and left the premises. Never returing to this place. Too bad because it is close and we ship quite a bit. Ive read other reviews about this person and am amazed shes still employed.

Paid for Rush delivery on an order that shipped the 7th which is supposed to be 2-3 days. Today was the 3rd day. No depuvery. Checked the package tracking still sitting in the origin State. Never again. I paid extra to have it in time before I left for the weekend. For what? For it to sit in Ke tucky for 3 days? Terrible. Also had a driver my package as delivered without ever coming to my house. Showed up the next day after I called dispatch && gt her in trouble. The paxkage was all sorts of damaged. Thank god it was only jeans.

Every package I have sent it been destroyed on the traveling to the destination. I have loose costumers for that reason. Even telling them to know is a fragile. Looks like once you are out they dont care about the package thats been sent.

Good fast service for shipping

I drove 45 minutes to this location because it is the only mailing option in the area open past five pm. They could not sell me a return shipment option which is the service I required for my paper work. The woman looked at me like I was an idiot and told me that I can only complete that service online. Absolutely useless to have a location whose customer service is 1: atrocious and 2: unhelpful to those of us that may not have easy accessibility to internet in our rural region.

Package was supposed to be here sat. They changed it to Monday. Its only 20 min away so I call and have them hold it. They never called me back (4hrs) so I call and they tell me I can pick it up mon. What a joke.
