Nice, clean place in the Eastern Market area. Amy did a nice job with my sons hair. She was very careful and gentle. She worked quick and efficient, but not rushed at all. Very nice staff. There are different rooms/spaces so we perfectly socially distanced lol.

I was in town for a wedding, and went to Jajo for my first professional haircut in two years. Everything was masked and distanced, and I felt safe the whole time.I want to especially credit my barber Von, who was extremely professional, kind, friendly, and most importantly did an awesome job on my hair. Other than the straight razor shave and hot towel this is a no-frills shop that does an excellent men’s cut. One of the least expensive places in town for an efficient and quality experience.

This place does a proper fade or up-and-under. Lots of Marines get there hair cut here, many civilians as well. They do a great job and the service is awesome. Recommend it. Also, dont be shy to try the shampoo and massage.

Pros: I was seated quickly. The haircut only cost $20.Cons: The haircut. The stylist. The experience.I asked for a pretty simple haircut. The stylist went to work and pretty much ignored me the rest of the time as he chatted away with his co-worker. Not a huge deal, but a little odd. The haircut devolved into something I had clearly not asked for, but Im not overly picky, so I would have been fine with a shorter cut as long as it looked good. Well it didnt. The stylist finally held up a mirror and I was looking at the worst cut Ive ever had. I asked him to make some adjustments and he did a little more work that did nothing to improve the cut. Id had enough so I just had to call it good enough and get out of that chair before more time was wasted or damage was done. I had to come home and ask my wife (who has zero hair cutting experience) to help fix things. Maybe it was just the stylist I got and maybe things would have been better with someone else at a different time on a different day, but I sure wont be going back to find out.

Been going here since it opened a couple years back after searching all of the city for a reliably excellent haircut with hot towel neck shave and a head massage thrown in for less than $25. You wont get a shampoo session and at times I have to wait for walk-ins but for all of the value/quality its worth the trade-off by far.

Pretty decent haircut here and the price was one of the cheapest options Ive found in the city.My stylist was talented and quick, but he did give me this sense that he was just trying to get things over as fast as possible and wasnt overly concerned with whether he was doing what I wanted. He started wrapping up without asking me if I was satisfied with how everything looked, and I had to go out of my way to say that I wanted something a little different.Also bear in mind that its cash only before you head over.

Yes! Ive been getting my hair styled for many years. Im very particular. A great stylist is like a therapist. The cut, the cost, and the customer service are all top shelf here. I would reccomend Jajo to my closest friends. Hot towel, soft lather strait razor shave, and skilled stylists are everything I was looking for. Look no further. This place is the best !!!

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately seated. I received a nice haircut from Jenny for 20 in cash. It only took about 15 minutes and she understood pretty much exactly what I was going for. Most of the barbers are Vietnamese I believe.

Your experience will depend what barber you go to. Ive had cuts from 3-4 different barbers and they knew what they were doing. I went to older lady today (short with glasses) because there was no lunch line to her. BIG MISTAKE. I asked for crew cut w/ #4 on the back and sides. The final product was far away what youd think of a crew cut. Just recommend avoiding that lady at all cost.P.S. there is always a line to a black barber (all others are Asians)

Coming from NYC this barber is complete trash. Older Asian barber did me dirty left my head all types of jacked up. Even for a military cut which is relatively simple they jacked up . Wouldnt recommend.

The nail salon is the pinnacle of ‘Meh.’ I paid extra for a 15 minute foot/leg massage which they said they do. The gal absentmindedly rubbed the same 5 spots on my feet while she chatted with a friend. No quickdry heat or air. After asking I was told I was fine to put on socks/shoes and go. Bad idea. Smudged polish.

Literally the best barber in the area if you want a quality hair cut at a fair price (cheaper if you pay cash but they take credit cards. there isnt an ATM onsite but there are CapitolOne ATMs right across the street next to the Starbucks) without all the fluff.Amy is my girl and does a perfect high and tight, but since this barber is used a lot by the Marines and Navy (if your military you get a discount) stationed nearby, all the barbers are good at doing a high and tight. Its first come, first served, but you can be passed over if youre waiting for a specific barber.Ive been going her for over 4 years now and go out of my way now that I live off H Street to get my hair cut here because its worth it.
