I work second shift and overnight shifts on occasion. This means that I do not have the time, nor the energy to hit the gym during the day since I am nocturnal. Before the pandemic, Work Out World used to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once state restrictions lifted to allow gyms to be open again, I wanted to come back to the gym to get back to my pre-pandemic weight. Work Out World no longer makes it possible for me to go to the gym as they are now open at a time where I can no longer attend and I am quickly becoming more and more unhealthy by the day. I need the gym to be open at night as this is the only time that I can exercise. I have held a membership for nearly 20 years and Work Out World used to be the one place where I could burn off steam after work and maintain a healthy lifestyle as I do not have the space for expensive gym equipment at home. This is extremely frustrating. Their choice to stay closed at night is affecting me negatively both physically and mentally.

I honestly come to this location because its less than 5 min from my house and the hours work better with my work schedule. Another reason is truly the stuff. They are always friendly.The gym is pretty clean. But sometimes the visitors are super nasty and leave trash all over. With Covid especially I feel like people should be a little more concerned about their appearance in the gym. Its disgusting to see guys working out with no shoes on wearing dirty socks, or wearing sandals bare feet, construction workers coming straight after work without changing clothes.I wish the equipment was more updated.

Its a large space. Free weights are old. They do have lots of equipment. Must wear mask while working out as well.

Be careful dealing with this company - they have no problem unfairly and unapologetically taking your money! (Also be prepared for Covid/mask-n@zi culture, not exactly welcoming vibes..)Signed up at Norwood location in December, so-called cleaning fee of $59.99 charged in mid-January. Shortly thereafter, I just so happened to find out about the location move to Canton when a personal trainer called to offer the new member free personal training session. Received the call on Wed or Thurs, club closed on following Sunday. NO posted notifications until only a couple days prior to the move, only saw them AFTER the phone call. Wouldve been nice if they gave members the courtesy of at least 30 days notice like THEY expect to get. I signed up for THAT SPECIFIC location, not Canton. I was able to cancel, but they refuse to refund the cleaning fee, even though the company knew very well that they were moving when I signed up and conveniently neglected to mention it. I see from other reviews here that this is clearly a regular practice for these people, and it looks like theyve been getting away with it. Talk about unfair and predatory business practices! Totally in willful violation of Massachusetts Consumer Protection Laws. Pretty disgusting, my advice is STAY AWAY. Go to another gym.

It is a nice gym, has plenty of equipment, its clean,the staff is friendly, and most of all is that they have good hours,they open at 5:30 so you still can go and it wont kill your day.

Patrick is a very intelligent trainer who taught me a lot about the science behind gaining strength in my workouts and he showed me creative routines that challenged me!

Place is usually a mess and they have several regulars who park across spaces instead of in them. I dont know if this is some strange method of limiting capacity by taking up extra parking spaces or if these eggheads think theyre Yngwie Malmsteen double parking his ferrari but its annoying when parking is tight already here.

Gave 2 week notice to members when they decided to move. Then, they would not refund people their membership. Unfair business practices. The members are required to give 30-day notice when they cancel their membership. Bad business practices. If you paid in full, you cant get your money back. If you use EFT they get you for an extra month.

Alex my personal trainer here at work out world and he is great. Not only does he train me but he makes it fun. He been training me over four months now and I have lost over 25 lbs and lost like 3 pants sizes. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. 💪🏼

Joined here last month cause I did not like planet fitness they are very nice here.Got to met with Alex one of the trainers here and had a free session so I signed up.I know train with Edgar the other trainer here and I am very pleased not only am I losing the weight I wanted I am gaining the muscle also.

The trainers here are great, thoughtful, and really cater their workout plans to you and your needs. Highly recommend!

I cancelled my membership 2 weeks ago. Now they took $49 as next annual fee from my account. When I call to request my money they refuse to reimburse it.Is it fair?

This gym has really gone down hill over the years. It was never really nice by any stretch, but for 20 a month, frankly Id rather pay 60 at some of the other gyms Im a member and have a great (clean) experience. The only thing it has going for it is geography and its hours of operation. If you are looking for anything beyond a cheap gym with free weights and a treadmill, look elsewhere.

I think this gym is great. It has everything you need no matter what your fitness goals are. Staff is friendly and so are the people who go to work out. Open 24/7 day care is great classes are available I go mainly to lift weights the squat racks are the best plenty of benches and free weights. Dumbells go up to 95 place is always clean and the employees work very hard to keep it that way I dont know what more you could ask for I love it here only $10. A month how can you beat that?

Iij dont understand why members are ALLOWED to leave free weights on the floor nor return dumbbells to their proper place. This is a constant issue and has not improved in my ten years as a member.Also i never went to a public facility where members can throw trash on the FLOOR without any consequences.

This is $10/month gym which is open 24hours. And unlike planet fitness it actually has good free weights area and plenty of equipment.Sure its not squeaky clean and fancy, but do you want work out or what?

Good value for just $10 per month. There are two squat racks, two benches, dumbbells up to 100 lb and multiple cable machines, and a large variety of Hammer Strength machines for accessory work. Not the cleanest gym in the area, but the equipment variety, value and 24-hour operation more than make up for it.

I enjoyed my workout with Alex.😊 that was fun, I recommend someone to try it with him.

Unfortunately theres no way for me to give negative stars. But I had a terrible experience in there, it was directly with the owner very rude dont know how to talk to people. I usually go to the norwood location its so much nicer. From my experience today I will be canceling my membership. Been a member since 2013. Im happy to pay more at LA fitness for better service. WOW SUCKS!!!!!!

Great gym for a low price. The only issue I would say are the weights. There arent enough and some days you cant find them. However that is the price you pay for a great price.

Fixed the steam right away!!! I like that...One thing I would suggest, set the timer for 2 AM-4AM for self cleaning rather than 12-2 for steam room. Still heavy traffic until about 1am.

The place is a little bit dirty and a little bit ghetto, but you cant beat the value for the price! More free weights than most gyms that cost 5x as much. Could not give 5 stars for one reason only: the early evening classes are obnoxiously loud and give me a headache. Loud, awful music and an instructor that loves to shout OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! at the top of her lungs that everybody in the whole place has to listen to. People complain about it all the time but it seems that mgmt doesnt want to do anything about it.

I really like the gym, they did a lot of upgrade theres a lot of equipmentsetc... i just wish that the weight room in the back where the dumbells are have more light its dark in there .

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I opened a personal training membership with someone and they seemed to have left out A LOT of details, on top of assuring me that I could just send a letter in and they would cancel it. I called WOW to speak to someone about this issue and suddenly NO ONE was around but when I went to go sign up, there were at least 3 people just standing around, doing nothing. Suddenly, no one was there. Who said anything about putting anything on my credit report? For a membership? for OVER $1,300?? disgusting. Ill absolutely be reporting them to BBB because this is ridiculous. And no one answers phones...I cant find them on Google...theres no way to get in contact with anyone. Ill be taking the proper steps to get rid of them...including reporting them to BBB.

I like this gym because its nearby and love the fact it is open for 24 hours.The reason that I am giving this location one star is that the sauna has been broken for at least 3 months. Management has told me time and time again that the part has to be ordered. They blame it on the technician. Why not order a new sauna if the part is so difficult to attain. I am considering canceling my membership and going to join LA Fitness if this is not resolved soon.

Whenever I deadlift, someone from the office will pop out to bother me. its gym or not?Update: finally had to leave this place. I guess it was fine when I was training late nights. But if your training during the day and deadlifting someone will come out of the office and threaten to kick you out over slamming weights. Theres no way to gently set down 375 lbs. Or even much less weight will make noise if its 70% of your Max. That doesnt equate to slamming weights. If you train for strength with free weights, this place isnt for you. One of the best strength exercise probably everyone should be doing isnt allowed in this gym. I only regret not actually slamming the weights at least it would have forced them to cancel my membership since they are going to charge me for the next month even though they forced my hand.Dont bother calling management. They have no interest in helping you resolve anything.

This place is getting 5 stars ONLY because the great MARSS_NE worked here. His revaluationary playstyle and idgaf attitude has put him at the top of super smash bros ultimate pgr ranking. If MARSS never graced this establishment with his presence, then this place would get as many star as frames it takes Zero Suit Samus’ jab to come out. ZSS SUX!!!

Literally the worst!!!! Nasty customer service especially from two workers there Wendy and Cherly. Very rude and high key racist. They make make their own bs rules. Not welcoming or comfortable environment to workout at. Worst gym/location in the franchise. You’re better off going to Norwood or Brockton even at Planet Fitness.Be kind to one another! Peace

Mannn the cleaning lady complained to the front desk that my 4 year old son and I were in the bathroom sitting at the WAITING chairs quietly while waiting for our ride, and the lady from the front came and told us it was a liability to have him there. -_- we weren’t on the floor we were in the bathroom quietly.. so I went out to the front to wait and she told me we couldn’t wait there either I told her we’re waiting on a ride, and she said “I understand that but having the child here and not in the daycare is a liability” really? So basically my 4 year old and I had to wait outside, in the cold.. (We went across the street to Dunkins)

I just wanna be able to go in and workout without having a personal trainer trying to force me to pay for their services. As much as I would love to use their help, unless its free dont push, if I decide to hire you, I will ask. Its annoying and it makes me wanna cancel my membership after I just signed up!

Worst gym. But no option. They dont even fix the carpets. Seeing the carpet in the same condition from last 3 years.They are waiting for someone to trip. Very rude H.R department. Open 24 hours, 10 bucks a month, and actually has squat racks and free weights, this is just a way better version of planet fitness. The place is clean and staff are friendly and helpful, not to mention membership costs less than your post workout meal at the Chipotle across the street.

Nice and quiet place from 9 PM to 5 AM and 1130 AM to 330 PM. It is little annoying when classes are going on as they blast music so loud that you can even hear thrpugh your headphones. I have only seen 50% of members cleaning equipment after the workout. So make sure you clean it before you use it and steam room has been out of order for over 5 weeks now and no ETA on opening up again

I signed up for personal training through Professional Fitness operating out of this Work Out World location. Its sad to say that because of ProFit, I canceled my membership with WorkOut World.To call themselves Professional Fitness is a completely false statement. Their employees, from the sales representatives in the gyms to their representatives in corporate offices, are condescending and unprofessional in the manner they speak with customers. Ive had an encounter where their sales rep wrote up a contract under false pretenses, knowing my friend and I only wanted one month of training. We told her up front we could not afford nor wanted a 12-month program, yet she falsely signed my name to a contract and forwarded it to her billing office.Trying to escalate the matter took upwards of a month and more of day-to-day contact of trying to get in touch with a higher-up in their corporate office. After constant back and forth, I came to discover one document (sent via email from their own corporate office) that I did not have possession of, that had my forged signature on it, which they claim I had agreed to the 12-month program. Everyone I spoke with said my statement was hearsay and would not listen to reason. While trying to get this issue resolved, their only resolution was to cancel the contract and waive a cancellation fee without offering me any refund of what they took from my bank account without authorization for three months.I did not agree to the terms, nor were any of them gone over at any time. Simply saying I signed a contract, and that the entire situation was hearsay. Please do your research on this company because there are many reviews across the board that complain about issues of refunding customers for training they did not agree to and poor customer service on behalf of their corporate offices.
