By far the worst window company I have ever had to deal with INVESTORS BEWARE! After having some set backs I went to place my window order with them. Paid my deposit and thought in the promised 6 week time my windows would be here. After 5 weeks I called just to confirm. No one called me back and after the 3rd call Tom finally responded stating my windows would be an additional 8 weeks! No apology no nothing! Frustrated I asked why didn’t they contact me they simply told me they don’t do that type of things. HORRIBLE customer service and NEVER again will I go with them.

Great quality, respectful employees, was able to get glass block installed and came out clean, quick, and smooth. Superior installations and would recommend to anyone needing their services.

Here is the quick version of the review.... They did quality work for us! We would hire them again!We had a new sliding glass door installed. We had our deck resurfaced. We replaced everything but the support beams with Trex Select (middle option - not cheapest, not most expensive). We had a treated wood railing with black aluminum posts. We love the esthetics! And again, the team did quality work.... fast and efficient (once they finally got started)The negative: I am being slightly generous with 5 stars, but as stated, I would hire them again. I would have given them 4 stars if not for the COVID Effect..... We had some delays, the start date was pushed back a few times. I believe this was simply because Windows R Us was not able to keep quality, hard-working employees - A problem that many companies have come across.Communication was good.... but I will be honest.... I think that was because my wife was persistent with making phone calls. Again, the drop to 4 Stars was not done... because I would have given them a little more time to respond.In a perfect world, they could have reached out to us as soon as they knew there were changes in the scheduleWe love the deck.... thank you!DV and RSV

Had a patio door installed a little over a month ago. (Very happy with install) however about 2weeks later the screen started to come out of the door. After multiple attempts with Ryan and getting nowhere, I spoke with the owner John who sent Claude out within hours and had the door fixed! So happy with Johns response. And Claude is Awesome!!!! This is why we have been repeat customers with this company! Thank you!!!

We had windows put in last year and a skylight and now we had a patio door put in. We are 💯 satisfied! Stephen our salesman is TOP NOTCH! Great guy and very helpful and knowledgeable! Our installers today for the patio door were amazing and the guys we had install our windows last year were amazing also!!!! Highly recommend! Great pricing too!

We hired Windows-R-Us to perform 3 services on our 125 year old Victorian home. A bay window replacement, a lining in one of our box gutters, and inspection/replacement of some damaged wooden soffit around our front porch, and high up on our third floor. The purpose of having the damaged wood replaced was because we were planning to hire a painter this summer, to paint all soffit and fascia around the house. We met with an estimator on June 16. The window install was timely, and went well. The gutter repair job-start took a bit longer than I thought it would, and I needed to call once or twice to get it scheduled. The same guy was to measure all of the wood that needed to be replaced, and give us a quote. Two weeks went by and I didnt hear anything. Once again, a couple of phone calls/emails. He finally came out in late August. He repaired the wood around the porch, and told my wife that the his ladders werent high enough to get to the third floor, and it was to close to our electric service. I contacted Windows R Us again for an explanation, and waited for a reply. Although we wanted to wait until the wood work was done(thought it would be complete mid-summer)to search for painters, we contracted a painter in September. We were scheduled for mid-October, and the weather may slow the paint completion down, or even delay it until next spring. On top of that, I am forced to have the painter paint over some bad wood, because of all of the delays. Also, because of the delays, we are running out of time. Ive STILL never heard back from Windows R Us, other than an apology and promise to get back to me, again after multiple emails and calls. I initially heard an infomercial that Windows r Us had on the radio. They sounded like a great company that handled most home exterior issues. They warned not to use out-of-state contractors. Weve been very patient, but we are now looking at the whole summer passing, not getting the work done as we were assured could be done, and not being able to get our paint project completed. I wish I could say we had a great experience, but we did not. I would not recommend this company.

The salesman at Windows R Us was very professional. He answered all of the questions I had and then some. Very knowledgeable about the type of roof I had and what I needed. Didnt try to over-sell me on anything. The roofing company they used was very fast, proficient, and able to get the job done in the matter of 2 days.

Roof replaced 12-2015 and it took till 6-22-17 for them to return to complete the gutters and shutter work, even though the roof was paid for and they had a hefty (1/2 amt) down payment to complete the other work Took several phone calls to get the ball rolling. If you look at the attached pictures ( please enlarge them)--looking at the gutter over my back door you can see where the gutter sits low and water pours over the gutter --enlarge the picture and you can see the debris. Also note that we purchased the gutter cap?? nothing like trying to get in your door and there is more water pouring over you there then the actual rain???Now look at the 3rd picture. The roof is lifting. ?????I have contacted the sales man x 2 and called the actual Business ( In Castle Shannon PA) 4 times since 9-21-17 and no one has returned my phone call.....poor customer service. Im hoping that this posting will get some results, next step may need to be legal

They did a great job w the INSTALLATION! Clean and efficient. There was an issue w the number of muttons in the sashes. But they quickly reordered them and replaced them quickly. Very happy w the windows and service.

I called Windows r Us on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. They said they would call within 48 hours to schedule a quote. They did not call. On may 10, I called and they said they would call back because scheduling was backed up. They called Monday, May 13. My boyfriend set an appointment with them for 8:30 AM this morning. It is close to 1:30, they havent arrived and the office is giving him the run around. This is absolutely ridiculous! He took the day off of work after they made it clear how important scheduling when he was home is. I rarely recommend any companies- I recommended this one after neighbors highly recommended them and after one of their salesmen visited my home.UPDATE: They finally called around 3:30 to say theyd be around by 4:30.UPDATE: They showed up at 4:30, gave a quote and said theyd be back tomorrow morning to do the job. According to Greg the roofers were awesome and went above and beyond.They did show up, albeit later than expected. They did an excellent job, were friendly and efficient!I would recommend this company based on work quality, pricing and friendliness.

Years ago I got Windows put in my house everything was great now I need replacement windows put in because some of mine are compromised I started calling at the beginning of May I have got nothing but the run-around I was dealing whats Ryan who never called me back and John the owner who did call me back once said my windows would be in July 30th it is now August 10th and I still havent heard from nobody this is been 3 months Ive been dealing with this is very frustrating and now Im told by the secretary that they will call me back in another week and a half everyone is on vacation and no one can answer my questions I am done messing with this company I will be calling the BBB

It has been one month since I had my roof done. (Around July 17) They were simply awesome about coming to the house prior to performing the actual roof install. I had major leaks, and they worked diligently to stop the problem until I was able to get the work done. Cant say how much it was appreciated! But the problem I am having now is that they have not come to pick up the debris left behind after the work was completed. Two piles of bricks from chimney removal, along with wood and other materials were left in the yard. The wood is most likely not able to be used now, because it has been rained on several times and exposed to the elements. The grass underneath the wood is now gone, and within the contract a promise was made to preserve the landscape. I have gotten several promises that someone would be coming to remove the leftover bricks and materials. This hasnt happened yet (today is August 13). I have called and emailed so much that Im feeling guilty for asking for something to be completed as contractually promised, but was not fulfilled. I have pictures as well. This of dimapparent lack of concern diminishes the level of trust I had in them a great deal. Very, very disappointed right now.

I had WRU put a roof on my mother’s house and they did a great job! My Sales man Steve was smart and knowledgeable on the products and the warranty. The installers showed up on time and worked the job quickly and cleaned up well. And best if all the price was great. I got 4 several estimates they weren’t the cheapest but not the highest either. 2 other companies wanted around 3k more to do the job! This was last year. So in April of 18 I had 2 sliding glass doors and 4 windows installed and they did another great job! Thanks Steve and WRU! I hate to it but it’s tough to find good work these days. Good job!

I had trouble with Windows R US South, I was cheated out of money, by a Terry Vassar, whom operated Windows R US South, a totall of $2,600.00!! The many ppl I was going to send business to Windows R US south, until they saw what had happen to me, a Mr. Vassar had lied about his situation with his business, which I was suppose to have a roof replacement Oct. 31, 2017, and after many excuses, lies, I was finally informed through a attorney via letter, that he had problems with a person that work with on his staff, that stole money from the company!! Mr. Vassar knew what had transpired before he received my down payment, but yet he took my money knowing he could not complete the job, and he never did! I contacted Windows R US Pittsburgh to see if (ALL) Windows R Us was run the way of Windows R US South! I called Windows R US Pittsburgh, and told my complaint to a lady name Holly, whom had taken my call! I told her what this Mr. Vassar did to me!! She told me that Mr. Vassar was only using the name of Windows R US, the business is a franchise, and Mr Vassar was only using the name, paying to use the service to use Windows R US!!! The owner of Windows R US Pittsburgh, heard my concerns, and stated he was very sorry, and thats not how he does his business, that he built over 10 years!! He took my name, and he didnt promise me anything, but he would see what he could do for me!! There are still (GREAT) ppl out there, and I thank Holly, for letting me speak to the owner, and whomever does business with Windows R US Pittsburgh, YOU CANT GO WRONG!!! THUMBS UP!!!!!!

I had paid for 2 windows to be replaced. 4 months after I paid $500.00 down they were finally being installed. The installers were bickering back and forth. Most unprofessional. Yet I thought if they do a good job it would be over and they would be gone soon. When 2 out of three installers left. I asked the third if I could set up my tv and play on it while he was finishing in my kitchen. He said that was fine. After hooking my tv up I noticed my screen wasnt working. I saw the installer bang it about a bit I didnt think wanting of it at that point. So the remaining installer claimed to be tech savvy. He looked at it and said they broke it. I called the owner John. Every time I got a hold of him I was told we are very busy and Ill call you back. To this day I have not gotten one call back. Ive call over 50 time just today thinking the squeaky wheel gets the oil i was told today by the own John the would stab the wheel. I would assume that was a threat. Yet Im just looking for what is far. My 500.00 tv is broke and it seems as though I have to take this now to civil court. I will never recommend anyone to use this company. I will upload photos of the shotty done and the moulding that seems as thought a child had done it.

This company installed a few windows for me in the past. They have recently been calling me relentlessly an attempt for me to purchase more windows. I have asked him several times to take me off your calling list to no avail . Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake do not give these people any contact information or they will call you relentlessly

Window are a month after the salesman promised, took 2 days to install instead of the 1 they quoted. Did damage to walls around windows, have called twice and they still have not returned.
