The owner did a fabulous job on my nails. Ive never had ombre acrylic before, and I am a huge fan of what she did! I just showed her a picture. Also, They dont over book so youre not sitting there waiting which is nice, but I do recommend making an appointment!

Jenny has been doing my nails for years. Very talented and professional. You need to check her out. Definitely has skills! I see some are complaining about price. Well you pay what you are getting which is quality! Thats like you paying for a Honda your getting that quality. But if you are going to pay for a Tesla. (which is more) You will get that quality! Thats why I pay for Super Nail quality! ;-)

I recently moved to Pittsburgh from another state and had been looking for a nail salon after 20 years with the same girl back home I was nervous about finding someone new... . I tried one place shortly after I moved and did not like them .. so I waited and did internet searches then came across this location... booked an appointment and very happy to say it was defintitly a good pick.. I love how Jenny is so friendly and the quality of her work is great.. I received many compliments and my boyfriend even decided to give her a try for a pedicure which he loved.. we are now definitly clients and cant say enough about this place.

I just started getting my nails done again. Ive gotten a full set and a fill in from Jayden in the past month and both times my nails were perfect. They do a great job and the shop is very clean. Ill be back!

They were lateopening store and my nail broke a day later and I called to get if fixed and they would not fix my nail and I paid 120 dollars......and there is no sign stating they change to fix broken nails I can see me paying 3 days later...for it if it happened a week later or even

This is the worst nail service I have received. An old lady did my nails. I reminded her over 13 times to shorten the length.....she kept telling me later. The shape of the nails are so irregular and messed up. The nail Polish is all over my skin. Im very dissatisfied with the service. I dont know if the lady doesnt understand English but she definitely didnt listen to me.

Very clean place. I got a gel manicure. They made my nails look amazing. Massaged my hands with excellent lotion. Shaped up my natural nails into the perfect rectangle shape and the ruby red glitter gel polish is fantastic! Amazing experience I will definitely be back!

This place is such a gem! They not only do my nails perfectly but they treat me with such kindness! I love how detailed they are, they actually care about their work which is SO rare! This will always be my permanent nail salon! Do yourself a favor and get your nails done here!!!!

JENNY was super fast but the gems came off the next day on my finger she was rushing cuz I told her I had to be done by 4:15 and she also had a client at 4:30 but at 4:30 she called her client and was on speaker !! your conversation with her is not private just to let you know your on speaker well the client forgot about her appointments I asked Jenny can she finish my toes thats what we agreed on in the beginning she said no her clients is still coming she like the other pop person can do you I have to be ready for my client your not my client she said she faithful to her clients but I your chair right now your client said she forgot about the appointment I paid over $84 to get my nails and feet done and I got my nail done by her cuz she refused to do my feet cuz her other client that forgot about her that is now 15 min late was coming how many people really spend over $80 on nails and feet diamond up I dont mine paying the money if it done right the other Gentleman worker get my feet and the gems are still on but some of her gems that was on both of my ring finger have came off and I not happy with that at all I paid $83 and my service should have been on point now the shape and everything was great just my $16 in gems are following off and it has not been 48 hours yet the next day 6 gens was off

Let me start by saying I have been to so many nail salons, and this is BY FAR my favorite place to go. So much to where I will only go here now. They do an amazing job. I highly recommend this place and I also recommend you ignore all the bad reviews because I have never had a bad experience here or left unhappy with my nails. I leave here satisfied with my nails and service every single time.

Jenny & her husband is the best! She never RUSHES on any one busy or not. She takes her time! She & her husband are very hard workers. My nails always last over a month. She has a variety of gel polish to choose from. More polish than I’ve ever seen at a salon. She does everything she can to make sure you’re pleased with your service! If you’re looking for long lasting nails she is the person to see! She deals with a lot of rude customers daily because sometimes there may be a wait. But she maintains professionalism ALWAYS! :)

I walked in for a pedicure. They said it would be about 30 minutes. It really was just 30 minutes. The service was fast, precise, and professional. And affordable!! Thanks for helping kick off my vacation just right!

I got my nails done and their service was good there were only 2ppl working but it went fast she took a good time doing my coffin shape and painting my nails one nail looks a little square but I don’t mind all the other ones are awesome. I would recommend this place and I would go there again.

Im posting this review because Super Nails has left a bad taste in my mouth for their customer service. I had started to use this salon for pedicures only and was very happy with the service so my family purchased a $50 gift certificate from them as a gift. I was unable to use the gift certificate because it had expired two days before I was at the salon. Since there was conflicting information on the gift certificate regarding its expiration the salon could have honored it but chose not too. Instead the Salon personnel chose to carry on in a foreign language and embarrass me. Luckily I had extra money to cover the bill. We all work hard for our money, but two days? Come on

Ive been a customer of Amys, (Owner) for over 15yrs. Amy does my eyebrow waxes & pedicures, and she ALWAYS does a fabulous job! Ive followed Amy to all the numerous locations that shes worked throughout her career, because shes just that good! Shes talented, professional, & makes sure that her customers receive a comfortable, enjoyable, & pampering experience. Im so happy that she is running her own salon again, because she has always worked very hard over the years, & definitely deserves it. 👍💅💜😊

I absolutely love going here. They are friendly, welcoming and very funny. Jenny is a sweetheart and also gave me a few tips to keep nails up to par. It gets very busy at times so I suggest making an appt or waiting. Its worth the wait!

Made fun of my hands and nails. I requested Jenny from the reviews on here. Not what I expected, she has no patience and doesn’t know how to talk to people. Charges for length and my nail shapes were uneven and lumpy! Never again.Stick to what you know peeps

My experience here was absolutely horrible.I walked in at 518pm they told me come back at 615 bc they were busy. I opted to come back after some light shopping. Come back they say they are not ready yet. So I sat and waited...for an hour and a half! I cannot believe how ridiculously slow these people are. At this moment it is 737 and no one has touched my nails yet. But as Ive been here over an hour i am. It willing to lose all this time. So update: Im leaving now and its 830. Smh

She is the best. My nails are always perfectly straight and the gel last longer than any other place Ive gone to. You sometimes have to wait awhile but its worth it. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Rude. Told me do you think you can do a better job? and held out the emery board to me. Also said if I dont like the way she does nails then its not gonna work. Yeesh. This because I asked her to fix some unevenness (which never got fixed.) I have some round nails, some square, and some in-between.

I usually call ahead and schedule an appointment. Sometimes I have to wait because there’s people already there and it’s just her husband and herself to do all the work. Jenny always apologizes for making me wait but takes really good care of me. I am happy with the service and the price is great as well.

First Rule: Recognize A Customers Presence! Im not going back. I walked in, stood for more than 2 minutes, then sat down for 10 more. Nobody even greeted me or asked me what I was in for or offered to say how long my wait might be. Even as I was leaving, no one called me back. You didnt want my business.

Overall terrible experience. I made an appointment for gel on my fingernails and asked for Sunny (who did my nails a couple of weeks ago - the only other time I went there). When I showed up I was told that she lives in CA, was in visiting family and doesnt work there? So I got whoever was available. I asked for my nails to be trimmed a tiny bit. They were cut down to my skin. They were rounded before being cut so I expected that he would round them after he cut them. He left them completely square and sharp. When he painted them he missed the sides... they just look terrible.

Amy does the best eyebrows in Pittsburgh! I followed her from Downtown...i love getting my nails done there too. She is very professional and always full of positive energy.

When I sat down another customer was complaining about her nails and that the polish and nail wasnt even to her cuticle and that they were terribly done. They started to speak their language and finally said she could get a discount. As I started my nails I was very weiry as to what I should expect. The shape I got wasnt what I asked for and I had to pay more because of the shape I wanted. Also the paint job was horrible. Amy is the owner of the shop and thats who did my nails and I will never go back. How ever my pedicure was lovely and Nancy did my Pedicure! They polish looked fantastic and my feet look fabulous. Nails on the other hand are not and to top it off it hasnt even been 24hours and one popped right off. Will not be returning to them.

My first time here at the Edgewood shop but Ms. Jenny use to do me and my Moms nails at the Southside shop. Both shops are amazing! Everyone does a great job!

I had a great experience at Super Nails. The pedicure was probably one of the best I have ever had. The attention to detail was incredible. The technician was very skilled and seemed to care about doing a wonderful job.

Bad organization & time management. I called ahead at 3pm to see if I need to schedule an appointment. They said no, walk-ins only. I arrived at 5pm and the woman said they were busy and she would save me a spot if I came back at 6. I verified that I would come back at 6. I did. There were even more people there and she told me I would have to wait another 20min. I left. An 1.5+ hour wait is ridiculous.

I came here several times and the level of service declines every time. Not to mention the prices here are different than what I normally pay, and I go to 3 shops who all charge in the same range. I think because there are only two nail technicians here, they overcharge. But that’s just my theory. LOL.Today was the last straw for me. I was at the shop at 10am, when they opened, and as soon as I walked in I was told “I can’t do for you until 12. Have appointments.”Having appointments is totally fine, but you don’t broadcast that you take appointments so that EVERYONE can make an appointment (which is super convenient). You only take appointments for certain people, which forces your walk-in customers to wait unreasonable amounts of time or leave and go somewhere else.That’s the type of unprofessionalism that I can’t deal with. So I will NOT be coming back here again! I’m tired of having to wait 90 minutes to be overcharged.

I’ve been going to Jenny and Jayden for a few years. I’ve always had a good experience and felt appreciated. As a working mom, they have always welcomed me and my daughter to enjoy their space. Especially, with them taking over ownership of Super Nails last year. Jenny will also helps customize the style I need, because my nails are often photographed and requested to be neutral at times. Which I personally love to glam up, when I can. We change up the style a good bit. They do have a small staff, so I would suggest to do an appt and keep to it. They’re busy and talented. #lovethem

Jenny is thee BEST! Shes ai good, I often can wait 3 weeks for a fill. Unbelievable selection of colors of polish to choose from too. Clean, pleasant environment. Appts are welcome, as are walk ins.

I wish I could give this place a zero. First I called yesterday to ask the hours, the woman was rude. Then I came across town and the same woman with the ponytail was angry and rude. I remember a sweet man and lady last time I was here. Went and spent my $85 in East liberty. Will never go back.

I came here because the prices were more reasonable then others, but the service was not. Aside from getting cut a few times, there was an occasion were I asked and confirmed that there was plenty of time to get new acrylics put on but despite this, they made me sit and wait and by the time they go tot me, I had to leave before I could even get my nails polished. I had to come back later. Irritating. I wish they just told me no, that there wasnt enough time. Only 2 people in there at the time and bother working on other people, plus one ahead of me, yet still told me that the hour was plenty of time. Irritating. Never going back.

She has a nasty attitude, customer service is non existent at this place, and the wait is always forever. She rushes through her job, nails are lumpy, polish is always horrible, and she lies all the time about appointments. Her husband just sits there and watches her disrespectful attitude towards customers.

I wish I didnt have to give them a star at all. Because I received a gift certificate for them from one of my girlfriends that goes to them that likes to go to them. So I decided I would go. I didnt have an appointment I did a walk-in. First off they barely greeted me. I told them I wanted a fill in but I wanted Amy. So the lady sitting by the desk looked in the direction of another nail tech doing nails and spoke to her in their language back and forth and Im just standing there. Then she looks at me and says she is busy right now. Im like can I wait because it was only two other customers in the shop besides me. One that Amy was doing and one getting a pedicure. So then Amy says something to the other lady at the desk. Then she tells me you would have to wait till 6 and then she said 6:30. I asked so you telling me I have to wait over two hours for her and its no one in here. She was like yes. I said thats crazy I only came and asked for Amy because a friend gave me a gift card and I wanted to try yall out. But yall are rude and I hope I can get rid of this gift card and I walked out. I called and made my appointment at my regular nail shop as usually. Never will go there again.

This place sucks! Numerous times Ive walked in and was told every time that there was a 2 hour wait. Theres only 2 people working. I just called to see if I can set up an appointment and she tells me that its walk-in, yet every time Ive walked in I had to wait because of appointments. Im done trying to get service here!

I went in about a week ago for a pedicure. I was hardly greeted when I arrived, and was pointed to a chair. The owner, Richard, did my pedicure. He was very rough with all the work on my feet, and every time he would want me to switch legs, he would rudely slap them until I did so. The next day, I noticed puss and a swollen area on the side of my big toe. I went today to explain the situation, simply because I feel it was a sanitary issue, not because I wanted money, etc. He absolutely denied that he did my pedicure saying he never does pedicures on Fridays and brought out the other two men who did pedicures and tried to get me to blame one on them because theres always a problem with them, and they dont listen to [him]. Clearly, this is an overall sanitary issue, that the owner does not want to take responsibility for.
