I spent $50 plus tip on a dip manicure after going in for acrylics. My nail person told me dip would last longer than acrylics and was ultimately better for my nails. I agreed to dip instead and its been not even 10 days and my nails are popping off. I dont excessively wash my hands or and my job does not require any kind of strenuous activity, so they really just popped off. Really disappointed after spending that much money and having my nails last barely a week. Two stars because staff was really nice, but terrible quality. I will not be returning :(

Owners are extremely friendly and salon is clean and beautiful although I was very disappointed with the quality of the dip manicure I received for $45. The dip goes all the way onto my skin with no break at the nail bed. As its breaking away from my skin (its only been 2 days), the rigid edges are catching on my hair and blankets. I have scabs on 4 fingers where I was bleeding during my service. Also, nails on both hands are not the same shape or length (pic of my thumb nails). I unfortunately will not be returning.

I got an acrylic fill here and while the nails themselves look good, my natural nails under the acrylic are absolutely destroyed. I didnt realize it when the man who did my nails was doing it, but when he used the drill on the underside of my nails, he was actually drilling away my natural nails under the acrylic. They used to be long and now they are jagged, weak, and uneven. I have no idea what the point of doing that was. It was also the most expensive acrylic fill Ive ever gotten at $50+ tip. They also only take cash tip and there is an ATM inside the salon with a $1.99 fee. Overall, the nails look fine, the salon is clean, and the staff is friendly, but my natural nails are destroyed and it was very expensive for what I got.

I absolutely LOVE going here! Mr. Tom, his Wife and Ms. Nicole are ALWAYS on the top of their game. Not only are they knowledgeable and helpful, they also always give 100% accurate tips and suggestions. Until I move again, this is my go to nail salon! Also they are VERY clean and welcoming!

This great new(ish) nail studio opened right before Covid, so I hadn’t been until today. I did a walk in appointment and was able to get in quickly. The environment is bright and clean with an abundance of gel color options. My pedicure was very relaxing, the massage was on par with what I am used to from New Jersey nail salons. My feet look and feet amazing and the paint job is precise. I will definitely be back to support this family owned business.

While the staff were very polite, the work was horribly done. My nails are jagged and only part of my nail is painted. Not to mention that, seven hours after my appointment, the gel nail polish started chipping.

Easily one of the best pedicures I have ever received. The place is immaculately clean, the chairs are unbelievably comfortable, and the staff is super friendly. The woman who did my pedicure was very thorough. I recommend to anyone looking for a good pedicure.

I love coming to Polish! They are very welcoming and will do everything they can to accommodate you whether you are a walk-in or call ahead. The space is clean, spacious, and decorated nicely. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Tom did an outstanding job on my dip nails! They turned out absolutely beautiful & although I was just planning on getting them for an event, I plan on keeping up with it as well as scheduling a pedi for next time! I’ve been to lots of nail salons all over, and this was by far the best experience i’ve ever had! The salon was very clean & everyone was so friendly. They are also following all of the appropriate safety procedures which I really appreciated.

Moved to pittsburgh from nyc & have now tried all nail salons in the Shadyside area this is by far the best! Highly recommend for mani pedi spot in pittsburgh & free parking at Target! I parked free on the street, also free at cvs parking lot or at the Target lot. Perfect spot! New & pretty nail place 💁🏼‍♀️

Worst pedi I’ve ever gotten.

They were extremely professional, kind, open and welcoming. After a long day this is EXACTLY where me and my friend wanted to be. We didnt feel rushed even though we closed the spot out. Good music choice, all staff is well informed and friendly. Definately my new place !*** update: another thing, they take care of you like its a spa not just a run in and out kind of loud, busy nail salon. Ahhh amazing

My girl friends nails were done horribly. They told her that they couldnt wax her eye brows after they told her they would initially. The woman manager? Was very rude and unwelcoming. For what they charge there are plenty of other options in walking distance.

I have never been to a nail salon that has cared for me more!! Normally most nail salons would do 2-3 coats of nail polish, so when she went in for the 5th layer I was so happy. My nail polish always chips after my first swim practice after they’re painted but they e stayed on for 3 so far (no chips!!) 10/10 experience:))

I had such an amazing experience here. I got a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed and could not be happier!! It was very clean and I appreciate Tom’s concerns about covid, social distancing, and making sure his staff and customers are safe. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new salon!

I had an appointment at 2:00 for me my wife anddaughter. They took my wife at 2:00 and took meand my daughter at 2:10. We soaked for 30 minuteswhile I’m mr lady walked around doing nothing butbusy work. A white man comes in and the lady thatwas walking around doing nothing immediatelystarted working on the white man. It was as blatantas it gets and paid I’m spending money for thethree of us. I’ll be spending my Black Dollarselsewhere.Robert Rankin

There is a rude lady that works there she always says they are booked this is not the place to call make your appointment 2 weeks prior i thought it was nice to have a new salon in the area back to traveling for me i wont return
