This was an awesome experience! We had a nail party with my bridesmaid, flower girls, and the mothers and the ladies here treated us so well! We had Daya, Rachel, Cleopatra, Michelle, and Eve. They made us feel so special and were so accommodating to the little girls. It was a fun and amazing time!

I waited in the lobby a good 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. My technician charged me $43 for a gel manicure. I asked twice about the 25% discount and she insisted that the discount had been applied. The work was sloppy. You can see the space between the polish and my nail by the cuticle. I will not be back. There was NO mention of an extra charge for French style.. Update: It is now 9/24/2021 and no one has contacted me even though the owner claimed they will call me. No call. Please dont bother.

Amazing experience. like no other salon i’ve been to! my sister and i went and i had to wait a little long for my nail tech to be available and the manager gave us free chocolates at the end as a thank you for waiting! i will definitely be back here. prices are extremely fair for the service you get.

I just had THE most amazing experience at Frenchies!! First of all, it is spotlessly clean. They pride themselves on it & it shows. I got the best gel manicure, gorgeous color, not thick at all. Best pedicure of my life! I don’t know what she did, but my feet are smoother than I can ever remember. Daya & Eve were so wonderful to work with. I already rebooked, can’t wait to go back.

I booked an appointment over a month in advance for my wedding nails! Was a little surprised the website said they charged to take off dip so I took it off myself before going. Got there 6 minutes early and the receptionist offered me a tour. She was great! Then the nail tech told me she couldn’t do a French ombré because she had someone after me and couldn’t spend that time on me. No apology. I let that go despite being disappointed. Then she switched my deluxe pedicure to regular to “save time” without asking me. No apology. I sat in the chair for 25 minutes while she was on the phone. Finally I called Nails by Karen and got an appointment right away. The tech was not professional when I said I was leaving and was clearly frustrated. No apology. Told me to have a great day with an attitude. I will never return and will warn others (some who had similar experience). For their prices, I expected much better and all I wanted was a relaxing experience pre-wedding. So glad I ended up at Nails by Karen!

Frenchies is the absolute cleanest nail I have ever been to. The staff is so nice, everything is spic and span. I refer everyone here, you wont be disappointed!

I had a manicure done by Rachel and she did an outstanding job. Their polish has no harsh chemicals and their establishment is extremely clean. Shay was very gentle! My feet are very sensitive due to a neuroma on the top of my one foot. Many places I gave gone have provided a rough and fast pedicure. I was actually relaxed as Shay worked on my feet! The salon is exceptionally clean. Price was higher than expected but I will definitely return.

Great experience this time at Frenchies! Daya and Cleo took excellent care of me and my daughter. They were so sweet and welcoming and they made sure we were happy. We both got beautiful gel manicures that lasted so long! At 2 weeks, my nails still look great! The salon is lovely and so clean throughout. We will be returning soon 😊

Everything from start to finish is so clean! The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, and the products are great. I took my 5 year old for a pedicure and she loved it. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. It is the first gel manicure Ive ever been happy with- two weeks later and the polish is still on and looks decent, even after growing out. I dont generally write reviews, but I am so impressed with this nail salon and recommend it to everyone.

Our family tries to lead an all-natural, organic, non-toxic, chemical-free life-style, BUT we also LOVE indulging ourselves at the hair and nail salon, so we are VERY VERY discerning. I cant tell you how delighted I was with my first experience at Frenchies yesterday! The atmosphere and decor is sublime. The staff is knowledgeable and energetic. The equipment and procedures -- far exceeded my expectations for cleanliness, technology, and safety. The little added perks, like the warm neck-towel, choice of natural exfoliant at the smell bar, (even a glass of wine!) will make this my go-salon for expert manis and pedis. Chelsea was meticulous, artistic, and lovely to chat with! Cant wait to take my twin teenagers with me next time!

This is a really nice place. Its also CLEAN. Free of chemicals. I received the Mani deluxe. OMG. First I had my nails shaped. Then a wonderful lavender scrub and a hand massage with lotion. My hands are softer than a newborn. I love my nail color and my consultant Rachel. I also received a neck wrap treatment. So nice. My new go to spot.

I didnt get a chance to use this business because they cancelled my appointment and did not offer any other way of getting my nails done. I scheduled to have a manicure for my engagement photos and the lady that cancelled my appointment was so rude and not very nice. I would not recommend scheduling with this company if you have a timeline for the service needed. Not reliable and the front desk is unkind.

Great shop! Got the mens ultimate manicure and couldnt be happier with the results. Manis arent just for the ladies, so go and get ya nails right. People notice and you wont regret it.

The gel nail service I received was very good. However, the gel nail service I received took 3 hours with 3 different nail techs My appointment was at 2:45 and I walked out of the salon at 5:45. I asked for a French nail gel service I ended up with a one-color gel service. The first nail tech did not take all the previous color off two of my nails. The dots of dark color were showing through the light pink. She tried a darker pink and globbed the polish on and was still not able to cover the spots. She offered to start over and proceeded to wrap my fingers to take off what she had just done. She left her station for a couple minutes, returned and proceed to remove the previous service. As she was doing this the manager approached me and harshly and loudly advised me that the techs work on a strict schedule and that the techs next appointment was there and she would only be able provide a one-color service. The manner in which the manager spoke to me was demeaning, dismissive and embarrassing. I do not know what was conveyed to the manager as to why the tech was behind schedule but it was clear to me the manager was under the impression that I was being difficult. Contrary to what she thought, I was being more than accommodating while the tech struggled to perform a simple French gel service. I only say simple” because that’s what the tech told me when I advised her what I wanted done. As I was leaving, the manager, in a very insincere tone, thanked me for my patience. Patience was 1 1/2 hours in, POOR management was 3 hours later. Obviously, she was aware of the excessive time I had to spend in her salon but I guess my time was not valuable. Yes, I could have walked out any time but the condition of my nails would not have been very flattering or in line with Frenchies standards. I made sure I tipped all 3 techs as I felt they all deserved something for their valuable time. Thank you Daya and Kassie for your professionalism and team work in completing my service. Your manager needs to take a lesson from both of you on how to handle a customer in a respectful manner.

I enjoy going to Frenchies Modern Nail Salon. The atmosphere in this establishment is very calming and it is truly relaxing. Very clean and refreshing. The staff, especially Rachel, is wonderful. She is very professional and very knowledgeable at what she does. Gentle and heartwarming as well. Ive never had an experience like this anywhere else. Knowing I have a better product used on my toes is comforting and less harmful to me and the environment. I will always come here and recommended people here.

I was greeted by very friendly staff, offered complementary beverages and a warm neck wrap. They also took time to educate me on ways that they go over and beyond in cleanliness. Chelsea was great! This will absolutely be my go to spot. Fella’s if you’re feeling hesitant to get to the nail salon, Frenchies staff will take great care of you! Highly recommend

Great experience! I had a Signature Gel Mani by Rachel. Rachel is awesome, very upbeat, friendly and does an awesome job. From the moment you arrive everyone makes you feel welcomed and is knowledgeable about products. Most of all I love how clean everything is and how they promote natural nail care. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

This is my second visit and it was excellent (as per usual). Seeing their quality of work, the pride they take in their work, workplace and each other makes me wonder why it took me so long to find them. Daya was wonderful. Friendly, funny and very professional. She started at the actual time of my appointment and finished in a timely manner without rushing or nipping me. Its nice to finally get a quality service and be able to relax as well in their clean, professional and calm environment.

I got a gel manicure there on saturday. it took over two hours and i had a wedding to go to that day. I also was unhappy with not being told that dip removal would be $25 when i told them on the phone it would be that much. My manicure looked horrible and i would be happy to send pictures of it. They also started chipping the day after I got them done. I believe it was only the girls first month of doing nails but I never had a bad experience like this.

I have been a huge fan and member since this salon opened. My regular person is no longer there so my last appointment was with someone different. It resulted in very painful cut cuticles on nearly every finger. It actually kept me awake that night! I don’t have hangnails or any problems with my nails and this has never happened in my life. I contacted the salon and was told a manager would call me the next day. I never heard back from anyone. I would not feel comfortable returning so I cancelled my scheduled appointment and my membership. Got a “Sorry to see you go.” message.

I’ve been to Frenchie’s several times now and always enjoy my experience. Everyone treats you like you’re a friend and not just a client. The staff is super friendly and love what they do. I love that everything is clean and sanitary. It’s truly the best part of my week when I’m there.

Its hard not to love Frenchies. It is immaculately kept, the staff is all unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable, and they all do a fabulous job. Frenchies exceeded every expectation I ever could have had.I’m a covid bride, we’ve opted to forgo most of the traditional engagement/bridal experiences in exchange for the safety of our friends and family.One thing we have been able to continue with are our engagement pictures, which are tomorrow. Once they were scheduled, I relied on the Wedding Facebook Group for recommendations on a nail salon with very specific requirements. I’m incredibly chemical sensitive, so it was important that the products they use be safe and non toxic, I needed a very well ventilated salon to avoid the typical migraine that products give, they needed to be abiding by covid guidelines and taking precautions. Over and over again Frenchies was recommended and now I can see why.I made an appointment for a manicure and 2 friends made appointments for pedicures. I had reached out to them via Facebook Messenger and found them to be prompt and almost too friendly to believe.I arrived to my appointment and was greeted by Rachel. She was warm, friendly and so welcoming. I felt like I was walking into a friends house versus a nail salon as a first time customer. We were the only clients in the salon which made me feel comfortable and safe. Upon entry, Rachel asked me to wash my hands and explained that she would wash her hands after me. I already had a good feeling and loved this! She showed me around the salon and I was absolutely blown away by the great lengths they go to be clean and sanitary. When they say they are clean, they mean it.From start to finish, I was pampered and taken care of. For the very first time of my engagement, I felt special, I felt like a bride. We were offered wine and wine drinking friendly masks. We were offered warm neck wraps, which were heavenly. Rachel made sure I had literally everything I could possibly want or need. She also showed such patience finding the perfect color that would compliment my skin tone and checked in with me literally every step of the way.Upon checkout, we took advantage of their awesome products for sale. We scooped up some lotion, beanies and even flip flops. Rachel gifted me with a little bag filled with all kinds of goodies that was just so thoughtful and made me feel so special. She gave me her card as well so that I could reach out and setup a private event at the salon after learning my hesitation to be out and about during the pandemic prior to my wedding which was just so kind of her to offer.Lots of places claim that they are clean. Frenchies is legitimately clean. Lots of places say they use safe products, Frenchies actually uses safe products. Lots of places say they have a great atmosphere with friendly staff, Frenchies actually does. Frenchies knows their stuff. Not only were we all blown away by the end result of our services, we were blown away by their knowledge.When we left, I literally said to my friends that the place was literally built for me and was everything I could ever ask for. I have extremely high expectations that very few actually meet, but Rachel and the Frenchies team blew me away. We will not only all go back, we will send everyone we know as well.

Daya was so friendly and sweet. She really took passion in her work and wanted to make sure it looked just right! She was super engaged with me and showed interest in me as a person as well! My mom had a pedicure with Kayleigh and she was equally as friendly and sweet. They both wanted to make conversation with us and know about us! We will be back. We also liked the pedicure booth idea as opposed to chairs. It was a more intimate setting!

I went to Frenchies with my friend. Daya did a pedicure and it was amazing. She was extremely gentle but still got the job done. She made me feel comfortable and held great conversation. She informed me about the scented scrubs and I chose pomegranate. It smelled so good! She even took off my gel polish so I can start fresh. I highly recommend Daya for her professionalism and great personality. My feet looked great!

Had a mani and pedi that is far above other salons. All the girls make you feel at home and that youve been coming for ages. The products are top of the line, which coincides with the service. I will be back often and suggest to all to check it out, you will feel the same. We were with Daya and Rachel, but it is clear all the artists there will not do you wrong.

This was my first time at Frenchie’s. I booked a signature gel mani and half way through, I was told there wouldn’t be time for the sugar scrub and lotion due to how long the gel removal process took. It took 40 minutes because it was extremely manual and my particular tech seemed inexperienced. I’ve been to several salons and none have ever taken that long for gel removal. At the end; the tech put so much cuticle oil on my that it is literally dripping down my hands.Pros - lots of color options and very clean.

Daya was exceptional, as I had a sling on and she worked her magic around it. She was very patient and made my experience very comfortable. She had a wonderful personality and I would recommend her to anybody. She’s phenomenal!!!

Im not usually one to get my nails done. I dont like the smell of most nail salons but frenchies doesnt use all those terrible chemicals in their salon so it smells good in there. My tech was Rachel and she did both a mani and pedi and I was very happy with both! I loved the look of my nails and how natural everything felt and looked. This will be my only nail salon from now on. Great concept and execution!

Amazing place. Tried it for the first time last week. I have dry brittle nails and polish usually chips after a day or 2. So far my nails look as good as they did last week. Kassy was very knowledgeable and did a great job on my mani and pedi. I love how clean and fresh smelling this place is. My new nail salon!!

I’ve been to Frenchie’s twice now and I’m pretty sure I’ll never go anywhere else for as long as I live! I love the cleanliness and the way my nails look, but most of all I love the atmosphere. All the ladies are so fun, and it feels like just hanging out with friends (rather than being judged by the person on the other side of the table who’s mad at you for not choosing a more expensive treatment, lol). Rachel does an amazing job on my nails and I love her so much. I feel like I’ve known her for years even though I’ve only met her twice! She even offered to be the hair stylist for my wedding (and Kassy my makeup artist!) Going to Frenchie’s South Hills is truly an unforgettable experience that you WON’T regret.

My friend and I came in for pedicures today and couldn’t have had a better experience with Daya and Kayleigh! Great nails and a great time!I used to love frenchies but I just got a call that my Mother’s Day pedicures need to be cancelled because they will be closed now due to their entire staff having covid. They explained to me that the girls have had covid and they were expecting them to “feel better” by Mother’s Day and they aren’t. It makes me pretty uncomfortable that they aren’t testing the employees before returning to work, not to mention it was extremely unprofessional to cancel everyone’s appointments the day before when they had known about the situation all week. I’m really sad that I will not be returning to this salon.
