I just moved to town and I was looking for a new nail salon that does designs and isnt overly expensive. And I found.. They practicing every precaution and definitely still feels relaxing, made me feel like a queen!

I did my Gel Mani. She did a wonderful job. She took her time to make sure my nails looked great! My favorite thing I liked about her is that she painted the side of my nails without leaving nail polish on my skin.

If I could give zero Stars I would! I havent had my nails done in years I just got engaged Tuesday so I decided to get my nails done at B & T. I had a 10am appointment with the guy Im not sure what his name was I think he was the owner. To make a long story short my nails were horrible!!!! I paid $75 4 terrible nails!! I showed him a picture of exactly how I wanted my nails to look like (ombre). Now I have to go get them redone at a better nail salon and I will go back to B&T to show him what they were supposed to look like done properly! I will never ever ever ever ever go back there again and I wouldnt not suggest them to anyone! When I walked in for my appointment I saw how dirty this place was. All their instruments were coated with nail dust and I would have surely gotten fungus or an infection if I got my nails done here.

The pandemic helped me to really try and take care of my nails (stop biting) and after many many attempts of polishing my own nails, I finally came here. They are super awesome here and I promise you wont be disappointed.

The absolute worst gel manicure and pedicure I ever had. Not even a week later and its already chipping. The manicure itself was lacking and the polish job was just horrible. $75 down the drain. Never, I repeat NEVER go there. Youre better off doing your nails and/or toes yourself!

$77,00 I paid for the manicure service Dip gel technique, regular pedicure I found the service was not hygienic and dirty the chairs are also old and nothing seems to be comfortable if I mention the men who work in there and stay talking about the customers in another language, speaking bad, making fun, I did not feel comfortable at all. I will not be coming back, first and only once.

Bhin did a acrylic fill in for my nails and she did a phenomenal job. Theyre perfectly shaped and not too thick. The service was quick and for a reasonable price ($30 and I got a design). Totally going back!

I visit for a girls day out Monday with my sister in law and it was such Made an appointment for noon. My nail tech paid attention to detail and addressed any needs I had.

Prices for services are not listed so I believe they charged us what they wanted. ( We shouldve asked the price first) We ended up being charged $39 each for pedicures, regular polish and barely any dead skin removed. The tech that I had spoke poor English, so it was awkward trying to have a convo with her about anything that was not nail related. It didnt look very clean but it wasnt filthy either. When we asked for a price list/ brochure, one of the gentleman gave us one but stated our prices have changed, this is old one. (Aka bullcrap) Point of this review: go if youre desperate, ask for a set price 1st and go early and good luck finding parking.

I use to go here but I will never come back. I walked in for a simple fix and wax; no one ever asked me what I needed or could they help not a word poor customer service. What I needed done wouldnt have even taken 20 minutes so I left with no help Ill just stick with Cookie at Ny T in East Liberty

I USED to go there and get my nails done after today I will NEVER go back! On a Saturday I went and got a pedicure and a fill. After leaving and in the natural light I noticed bumps and ridges on my nails, one nail had acrylic stuck on my finger, and the next day my pointer nail cracked in half. After walking into the salon the following Monday (there closed on Sunday) I showed one of the employees my nails and pointed out who had serviced me the day before. They said that they will fix my nails. I waited THREE HOURS for someone to take me patiently. When she did she processed to argue with me and tell me I was wrong and my nails looked fine. She also snatched my hand. After about 5 minutes of going back and forth she did what I asked her to do and told me not to come back. Not only is it slightly ghetto being right on fifth avenue downtown but my service was horrible, I feel like she treated me like I was looking for a free handout. I have spent a lot of money in that salon. Never had such bad customer service in my life! Stay away!

I am a t.v. and high end fashion makeup and hair artist ... visiting Pittsburgh I came in good spirits, the salon looks decent and welcoming however Id like to mention that the front desk service is not really approachable. The British gentleman there seems like he is bored of life and couldnt care less to receive clients or not.I was introduced to the man who would do my toe nails, who was very rough on the trimming and clipping, he rushed through the polish and I had polish on the edge of my skin and angled lines. When I showed him what was wrong he got upset and snatched the towels from and had me sit in a chair saying youCan wait for the manager.The owner said the perfection you want in your polishing is hard to find... ( I have to say when you own a business taking pride In The work should be important. You shouldnt hire people as lead artists who are not able to perform and execute the work.)I had to come back the next day to get it fixed by another woman who filed my skin including my gel polish off.I could tell they just wanted to rush and finish me off.The onlyGood thing about this salon was my boyfriends hair cut from the salon owner.

Ive been coming to this salon for over 5 years and the work that the owner has done has always been exceptional! I will go to no one else. Eyebrow Arching...the best. Nails...always excellent. Honestly, if Tyrese Gibson came into your salon to have a manicure done by you, you must be good!!

I asked for pale pink dip. They insisted I use the odd nail color sample tree. I picked out a color, but the dip was too dark. I told them before he started and the guy told me it would go on lighter...really?He got up no less than 15 times, stopping my nails to talk to others. Very unprofessional. I told him the color was wrong, he wanted to use gel. I prefer dip. He brought the color sample tree over to show me I was wrong, and then said...oh the samples change color. He said he had a client waiting, I reminded him he had a client sitting in front of him. I tried a second dip, but the color was still too pink. I enjoyed listening to him and another gentleman talk about me. Yes some of us understand more than 1 language. I dont live in Pittsburgh but I have many friends who to. No recommendation from me. Over all unprofessional salon. Cant wait to have my regular salon fix this next week.

Good service and friendly staff. This was my second visit and I can now say Ill continue to come back. My lashes and eyebrows look amazing and my Nails are beautiful. Not to mention the prices are really reasonable.

Best eyebrow waxing! They have the technique down. I have thick dark brows and usually suffer from too much hair being taken off. But they know how to get the correct arch and dont make your brows look like tadpoles. I wont go anywhere else.

I got my gel nails done here they were affordable and they lasted a month. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. No parking lots avaliable so if driving u need to park in a downtown garage and or find street parking and pay. Or u can take a bus and walk a little. The salon is clean and up to date.

I had a basic mens cut done last week and I am immensely happy with the results! The hair stylist and the rest of the staff are very nice and the atmosphere of the salon is elegant and soothing. I am definitely going to try a massage the next time I return.I recommend this salon/spa to anyone!

I love B&T! Peter is my go-to guy every single week; his work is exceptional!!! But honestly, youll be in good hands with any of their amazing staff!! I go so regularly that I consider them my second family.

This was my first time there but my service was quick. The staff was cool. The vibes were nice!

DO NOT GO HERE! All of the workers are rude ESPECIALLY the guy called Peter. More importantly though the work here is atrocious, horrible and rushed! They do not know how to paint nails. Gel polish is bumpy and does not go all the way down to my cuticles. They try to get you seated asap so they can rush you and handle other customers. Typical low quality nail salon ...Rushed, bad job and rude workers speaking loudly in foreign language.

Randy is a magician. Im honestly usually very picky about nails, as most places shape them either too thick or too flat. Randy is the only nail tech Ive been to whose made gel nails look so nice and natural. I doubt Ill look elsewhere after having him do my nails

The staff are pretty friendly. Cleanliness is good. The wait time usually not long, depending on what one is getting done. The fumes I couldnt deal with tho. Think they should provide or offer their customers masks too. Just an idea.

I was a long time customer of this business, but not anymore. I understand life happens and mixups occurs, but my time and money is precious even if this business does not think so. Ive have been more than patient in the past waiting for service, but today was different because I booked an appointment days before, on a day that I knew would not be a high traffic/volume day.I made an appointment and the woman who I made the appointment with is the owner. Apparently she got double booked for the my time slot, however I was the one who was inconvenienced and told that I had to wait. Please note this was already after I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for her to finish with her last client.Why was my appointment forfeited vs the other client. I have some thoughts, but Im going to let it go right here. This place will never get my business again. I normally dont write reviews, but I didnt want someone else to waste their time on a business that doesnt honor appointments.I may not be able to change this business behavior/practice, but I can change mine. Ill take my business elsewhere. Will this hurt them?... probably not...at this point its the principal..at the end of the day. .honor your appointments.

I do admit they always did do an excelent job on my nails, but im giving them 2 stars(wish I could give them a 2.5) because of their poor attitudes, the unfriendly vibes they give off and how they treat their customers. Thats the reason why I stopped going. Its really important to feel relaxed and welcome in a place where youre going to be getting your nails/eyebrows/ feet/hair done. Its sad because they had been my go to nail salon for years. When you try to have a friendly conversation with the nail technicians they seem irritated, snappy and not very social until they see someone who looks like they have money comes in, then things change. Once I saw a man trying out for the Pittsburgh Steelers come in who wanted something done to his feet. All of the workers literally started sucking up to him and being really friendly. When he left everyones rude attitudes came back. Ive witnessed 2 of the male nail technicians talk in a different language while pointing and laughing at women walking in to get their nails done. Things always feel tense in that atmosphere, I dont know about anyone reading this but id like to go somewhere more positive and welcoming.

I got a sew in done. The environment was nice but my appointment started 2 hours after the scheduled time and my hair was not at all done how I wanted it, I didnt even ask for anything special! I just wanted a bang and he didnt even give me one. Ladies, if youre looking to get something done exactly how you want it done I would go else where.

Horrible service results! Slacking much in terms of a pedicure. The B&T Owner needs to revisit what a true pedicure consists of and advice the staff accordingly. For one, the toes should have the same shape for all toes! Nor, should it look like the toe has grown in within seconds. Meaning, a poor polish job. Waste of time and money. It appears that the nail technicians have little updated knowledge of current trends. Services should consist of low designed pedicures and nail designs and trending designs for nails and toes. B&T should step into the 2017 nail and pedicure trends and designs. This would be the last place that I would refer anyone to for nail or pedicure services. Dont be fooled by the apperance! The ambiance is a bit stuffy as well. Everyone (i.e., the customers) are looking around trying to understand what or who is being talked about in another language. No interaction verbally with the customers AT ALL. Check it out 👀 before requesting service.

Nice shop comfortable setting but very little personality in the salon . Services are very basic no fun colors or nail art more like a place I would take my 86 year old grandma.

Cherice is a Five Star Salonist . When all other Salons where closed and not there when it said it was. B&T is Nice . It be a small place . I got my nails done there before and they didn’t even last a week I decided to give them a second chance and I am extremely disappointed my nail polish has peeled off within a day and I ended up having to repaint them myself. And I asked for coffin shape and I was not satisfied at all, told them and was ignored. Personally I will never go back there.

Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the industry, hair care of all ethnicitys, and hair types, and proffessional hair care product lines. She is in high demand and always has back to back clientel. She adds to atmosphere by offering her clients a glass of wine and or bottled water which makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. You leave her chair loving you hair!!!!!

All of my gel nails peeled within 4 days and I went back to have them fix them, and at the end of my service they said I owed $20 but did not tell me prior. Back business practice, do not go here.

Nail broke the same day I called to get it fix they told me to come in than going to tell me they wasn’t fixing it, they are rude, they rush, & hurt your fingers never again will I attend
