I had a white crepe jumpsuit altered here for my wedding rehearsal dinner! What I needed done with the puffy sleeve was pretty complicated and she made it perfect! My outfit fits like a glove now and I’m so excited to wear it! Will go here for all my alterations moving forward! Friendly service as well!

She is very overpriced, rude, and dismissive. I had an appointment to be measured for dress alterations for a bridesmaid dress. I tried it on for her, and she said would be $275. I told her that seemed high and asked why. She said it costs what it costs and that if I wanted her to do it she would pin it. Otherwise go somewhere else (more or less). Considering the dress didnt even cost that much and that the alterations of my own actual wedding dress didnt cost anywhere near that, I left. I was able to find a much friendlier and more reasonable price ($70). Shop around!

Minh is so talented, friendly, professional and accommodating.She repaired my grandfather’s 103 year old christening gown after 2 of my grandsons were christened. Because of its delicacy and age it was damaged and she repaired the gown so my granddaughter could be christened. She did such an amazing repair that it looked original.Minh as well made my mother of the bride dress fit like it was custom-made! I had to buy my dress online without a fitting because of all the craziness going on in today’s world. She was so positive and uplifting she almost made me feel like the bride.Please give Minh a chance to help you as well. She is located in Scott Town Center.

I had a fantastic experience. The entire process was explained to me, and I was asked many questions to ensure she would alter my suit exactly the way I wanted her to. It was finished exactly when she said it would be and fit perfectly. Prices are reasonable too! I’ll definitely be going back.

$240 to hem 4 curtain panels that were each 48 wide ($60 each). Yikes! Hard pass.

I went to Minh to have a button down dress shirt taken in, I have to buy larger shirts to fit my neck and upper body. She knew exactly what I wanted when I told her my issue, and did a fantastic job! The 3-stars is for the following two reasons: 1. The amount of loose threads on the inside of the shirt, you’d think she would have cleaned it but I had too. 2. The cost was $50, I found a guy in squirrel hill that cost half the price and is great. I live in Greentree but $25 and the drive out there is a savings. Though she did an amazing job, the price is too much for me.

Very happy with the fantastic repairs to my coat. The lining in my winter coat was tattered after 20 years of wear. The lining in the shoulders and bottom of the jacket were completely frayed. The chest pocket was tearing out and some buttons on the side had fallen off.I wish I had before photos as the ones I am providing make it look like a new coat. She even resewed the labels and tags back on. Giving the coat a real finished look.Very understanding and professional. I highly recommend her skilled talents!

I just called to get a quote and that lady hung up on me. If this is how you will handle your customer then soon you will be out of business. This is my personal experience and first time call. They may have returning customers but for sure I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a new tailor.

Today I had an awful experience at Minh in Stitches. She obviously doesnt want any business where she is not making a bundle. I wanted a pair of slacks tapered in the legs. She was very rude. I asked her how much it would cost for this service and she told me 80.00. I said you have to be kidding. She said 80.00 and abruptly turned her back on me and walked in back. Please think twice before giving her any business. Evidently she is not interested. I went to a shop in Castle Shannon. They are fixing the slacks for 14.00. He was very busy and remained professional. Im sure he appreciates the business.

I would not go anywhere else for alterations. Always a fantastic job. Highly recommended.
