I had my wedding dress altered by Anita and it turned out great! She really knows what she’s doing and she give you valuable insight for what could work and what wouldn’t. The price was reasonable as well. Definitely will go whenever I need any clothing alterations.
She did a re-cut for a pair of pants of mine aka fitted them to my measurements. Awesome work, fair price, and she got them done when she said she would. 5/5 would recommend.
I just dropped off my coat to be hemmed. Very busy so it will be done in a few weeks. All good.
Anita Stitch is great at what she does! She really has the experience, talent, and knowledge in this business. She fixed a bridesmaids dress for me after another seamstress ruined it. And she has now worked on 2 of my daughters formal dance dresses. She is quick and very reasonably priced! I plan on using her for any and all my alterations
While at the shop, the owner was rude to me and made comments about the way I looked, saying she didnt think my shoulders needed to be adjusted because of the way I was built and the color of my dress, telling me it was green and not silver. I was charged $75 for a simple hem and shoulders. While the work was good, the prices are outrageous. Its my own fault for not asking beforehand, but I didnt think a hem and shoulders would end up costing almost as much as I paid for the Maid of Honor dress. If youre looking for reasonable prices, this isnt the place.
Anita was amazing!!! I was 7 months pregnant and in a wedding. The dress had boning in it and did not fit at all when it came in. She completely tore the dress apart and rebuilt it to fit my baby bump. She did an amazing job and everyone complimented me on my dress that day.
I have used Anita many, many, times over the years, and she does a fantastic job at extremely reasonable prices. Her services are a dying art, in this day and age, so take advantage of this talented seamstress while you still can.
Horribly rude, ruined my girlfriends beautiful dress then proceeded to get offended at my girlfriends anger and ignored her until I intervened. There was even a needle sewn into the dress that was removable without ruining the dress. If you want your wedding, prom, dance or anything else ruined, come here!
Anita is very knowledgeable, and her experience shows in her craft. She is an excellent seamstress but still charges a reasonable fee. I would go back!
My experience with this store have always been pleasant. I had several hems done and the work was always done in a timely manner and the owner was always friendly and pricing was reasonable. Last year I almost gave up on my favorite STEELERS winter coat because all the stuffing was coming out as zipper snagged and ripped material. I took coat to her as my last effort before throwing it out and to my surprise the coat was salvaged. I just picked up a new suit for an upcoming wedding and need hem in pants and I am going to drop off at my next opportunity as I know the quality service I can expect at a fair price.
I can only think that she has a wealthy husband who keeps her in business as her customer service is abysmal. As to your response, your words and tone buttress not only my review but the others as well. Youre flippant, arrogant, and insulting. You had my pants for minor alterations over a month with no receipt or expected completion date. But it was your attitude that upset me the most, like you were doing me a favor. And to say I said you stick with your woman stuff; what does that even mean? The fact that youre still in business is a testament to how much rudeness someone like you can get away with.
Got to be honest, went here a few months ago and she did forget about my uniform alterations. No apologies, just acted like I was putting her out with my business...wont return.
So I didnt get a chance to work with her, so this is not about her skill. I spoke to her on the phone to discuss a potential custom order of 6 dresses. In that time, she told me her custom orders started at $300, after I had said I was looking to find dresses under $100 (for -very- simple patterns), and she immediately said Haha. Bye bye, and hung up before I could ask her anything else regarding her services. I was quite shocked at the level of rudeness. I was considering going to her for my wedding dress alterations, but now Im seriously wondering if I want to work with her.
Anita was rude to me from the very beginning of my experience there. We felt like we were inconveniencing her by giving her own business. While she was waiting on us she made up set side and waited on two other women that came in after us. She said she would have my sons pants done in a week. After 2 weeks went by I called and left a message and never received a call back so I went in. When I came in she didnt even remember who I was. I told her I called and was wondering about the pants and if they were done. She gave me a ton of attitude and said she forgot about them. As a biz owner myself I told her I felt like I was inconveniencing her by giving her my bussiness. She never apologized just continued to be rude and talk over me. So I knew I was going to get no where with her and asked when they would be finished. I waited in my car for 5 minutes while she finished them and once I came back in they were hanging on the door. She never even turned her back while sewing and told me to take them. I asked her how much I owed her and she said just take them and go. Wow. I cant believe the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. I wont be surprised if they dont even fit correctly. I would never ever recommended her.
My thanks to Anita, although unforgivably late but no less sincere, for the excellent work that she did in repairing my ballroom dance suit in time for me to wear at a ballroom dance competition.
Don’t take your clothes there! She’s bias and judges you by your looks. Poor work done on my blouse, bad smell in her store and very expensive bill. I wish I could give less than a star!!
No customer service, very disappointing.
Rude and unprofessional.
