This is the best tailor shop that I know of in the city of Pittsburgh. I was originally going to have my mother of the bride dress tailored at Carlisle bridal. The seamstress wanted $325 to tailor it there. I took it to Nora, and it was $200 less and he did a beautiful job!! I would highly recommend this shop.

Nora Dangs is the absolute best!! My wedding gown needed a ton of work... the size I ordered ended up being extremely large on my chest and arms, and I also wanted to change the shape of the skirt from A-line to mermaid style. I was nervous to take my gown anywhere other than a bridal salon, but I knew a bridal shop would charge me an arm and a leg for the alterations I wanted, and Tony had done such a great job on clothing of mine in the past, so I decided to trust him with my wedding dress. He did such a phenomenal job on it!!! Even though my gown is made of intricate patterns of lace and delicate mesh, Tony was somehow able to fit the entire bodice to my body perfectly, he made the sleeves tighter around my arms without disrupting the pattern of the lace, and he took in the skirt around my thighs and underneath my bum to create the perfect mermaid shape. He also added a bustle. All for a fraction of the price a bridal shop wouldve charge me!! We went through about 4 rounds of fittings because I kept asking him to change my dress more and more, but each time Tony finished the alterations extremely quickly, was always upfront about the cost, and produced flawless work. I cannot recommend Nora Dangs more!!

Highly recommend this business for alterations! Took a bridesmaid gown that needed a hem and straps tightened (originally from Alfred Angelo) and was in and out in 5 minutes for the fitting. He told me the price upfront ($55, very reasonable in my mind compared to what I would have had to pay at the bridal salon) and that it would be ready in a week! Dress was ready the day I had been told, picked it up with no problems and it fit perfectly. Will definitely be returning for future alterations needs. Very convenient for anyone in the South Hills.

A covid-19 bride went through months of pure heartache, trying to get through to nora dang. We left notes on the door, and called every day. We never recieved a call back. The bride had to wait until june 11th. Her wedding was scheduled April 24th. Very unprofessional. The gentleman had no remorse and genuinely didnt care about the heartache he had caused this bride. Please save your money and give it to a business that respects their customers.

Had a full length zippers put in my hunting suit years ago I love that full length suit and I didn’t want to part with it, she put complete new zippers in, great price, great job and I’m still wearing it to this day so Thankful,these are great people to deal with .I will deal with them again and again !!!

Best tailor in the South Hills. Small shop that doesn’t look like much from the outside but he does great work for an amazing price. I’ve taken numerous bridesmaid dresses here and never paid more than $50 for alterations. Would highly recommend for quick, simple fixes. Can’t speak for more intense or complicated alterations though.

Got some alterations done on a bridesmaid dress here. Suprisingly busy for how small it was but the guy was nice and got what I needed done perfectly and cheap.

This man is so talented. He has done a lot of work for our friends and family. His prices are great. His work is terrific.

Professional alterations at a very low price. The exterior and interior of Nora Dangs isnt refined. But dont let that fool you. What it lacks there is easily overcome in great service. Be alert, its fairly easy to miss this unassuming storefront from the road.

Totally ruined my dress for my sons wedding. Needed the neckline taken in, but it was taken up at the shoulders and the waist ended up around my breasts and the armpits were so tight. Would not recommend
