I decided to give Philly Fades a try earlier this year after looking for a new barbershop closer to home. I researched several local shops and Philly Fades definitely stood out from rest. The owner Mike really takes pride in his shop and always greets everyone who comes in. All of the barbers in the shop are professional and make sure their clients are happy with their cuts. If you’re looking for a quality black barbershop without having to drive into the city, Philly Fades is the shop for you. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, you will be happy you did. Excellent establishment. I recently started coming to Philly Fades for a beard trim and shape up. Top notch talent working the chairs. Mike (the owner) operates his business professionally; nice vibes, you feel welcomed. My beard and I are very pleased with Mikes work.

Ive been going to PF for years. It was an awesome spot when Steve ran it and its an awesome place now that Mike owns it. On line booking is simple and lets me book a time that fits my busy schedule. Eddie has cut my hair the past two times. He is extremely talented.

We’ve been taking my son (age 1) to Mike since July. He’s done a phenomenal job! He’s super patient with my little guy, and knows all the right tricks to make him feel comfortable. The shop is COVID safe, and fees are very reasonable.

I just want to say that I was pulling for this business being someone born and raised in Phoenixville. My son got a cut today. His fade is not the best I can distinctively see the line on the side of his head of were they should have faded. They tapered his sides and back but did nothing to his front. They also took way to much off the top making his natural curly hair that we wanted to keep non existence. I wont lie I was pushing for them but unfortunately they fell short.

I take my son to the owner Steve every 2 weeks! Love it! Steve is awesome..very welcoming and great with kids! This is a TRUE melting pot! You dont see that everywhere...great added benefit to see all color of men in one place getting their hair cut! Highly recommended!!

The previous owner, Steve, was fantastic! I called to book my son an appointment and was directed to their online booking portal. I booked for an available slot as directed. We arrived for our appointment time and were told they were running a bit behind. Mike, the new owner, told us it would be about half an hour. We left after waiting an hour and a half past our appointment time without a hair cut. I used to take my son to Steve regularly. Unfortuently the new owner has lost our buisness.

Nice place. Very friendly, super clean and organized. They say unisex, but I have only ever seen dudes in there. They are pretty good with kids from what I have seen. Also, Andrew is new, but had him twice - good dude, solid cut. I checked these guys out on a recommendation and I have switched to them after being with my last Barber for 10 years straight.

Absolutely thrilled I found this Barber shop when I moved out here last year. Im very particular about my haircuts but luckily Sonny is by far one of the best barbers to ever hold a pair of scissors. His attention to detail, skill set, his love for the trade, and his commitment to customer satisfaction are bar none and I leave with a great cut people compliment me on every time. He truly earned his title as The Clipper King.

I have been getting my boys haircut here for years. I was charged a whopping $50 for my 13 yr old and my 9 yr old haircuts, a service that was previously $35. Im not sure what happened here, but Im now in the market for a new barber.

Very comfortable and relaxing barbershop. The shop sits on a busy corner with lots of windows so it’s great people watching while getting your cut. This was my first time there and Steve the owner did my cut. I got a professional fade and beard trim and shape all for $20.00. The interior is nice and lots of TV’s with sports playing. Highly recommend. Cash only FYI but they have an ATM inside the shop.

I really wanted to 5 star Philly Fades but there were 3 issues.1st and 2nd, the owner Steve missed several hairs right above my ears. Significantly enough that my wife noticed within seconds of me coming home after a very important client meeting which i got the cut for right before.3rd I asked him to take some off the top and he did not.. I didnt bring it up because i was running late due to him stopping to chit chat several times.The good: the employees that were there were very nice. The cut was inexpensive at only $20.If i go again, i will allow for more time and be much more critical of checking the cut before i leave.

Great!! Got there and showed them a picture of what I wanted, 15 min later I got the cut I wanted, and just for $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Coming back there from now on.
