Ive been going to this salon for over 20 years watched them move 3 times over the years & become bigger because of the wonderful experience they provide to their customers. Really nice place, I had a great experience here. I got a pedicure and a hairdo and both services were nicely done. The prices are pretty reasonable, too. It can be a bit tricky to find - its on the second floor in the courtyard area - but it is well worth seeking out. I was just a visitor but they still treated me like a regular customer.

I have been to Aveda salons before. It is supposed to be a holistic and relaxing experience. My experience in this Aveda salon was frustrating and anxiety ridden. I was getting engagement pictures taken at 5pm and told my blowout would be finished by 2:30p. I walked about of the salon at 3:30p. I had 3 different people wash, blow dry, and style my hair and was asked to move chairs twice during the appointment. There was bad communication and organization between the staff. I wanted to enjoy this experience so badly, but I honestly felt like an inconvenience to the staff. My stylist was working on another client during my appointment. The reviews of the place are glowing and perhaps that is because the salon is much calmer during the week compared to Saturdays? Either way, my experience at Perry Monge salon was a nightmare. Below are the details of my appointment; Im hoping the management reads.I booked an appointment for my engagement photos at 5:00p. I was told the blowout would take 45 minutes. My appointment time was scheduled 1:45-2:30. I was at Perry Monge from 1:45-3:30. Most of my appointment was spent waiting. The salon seemed very busy and overbooked; 3-4 clients were waiting in the lobby. The staff was aware I had engagement photos that afternoon and asked me about my pictures, location, and the TIME of the shoot several occasions. I arrived early, was told that my stylist was running behind schedule so they would give me a hand massage. The hand massage associate arrived at 2p and the stylist arrived at 2:01 so I declined the hand massage in sake of time. I asked for a styling for my pictures (just a hair curl). One associate washed my hair, then the stylist began blow drying my hair. There was a considerable wait between every step of my appointment. I was asked to switch chairs twice. When I switched chairs the second time, a DIFFERENT stylist resumed blow drying my hair, while my stylist went to work on another client sitting next to me without saying a word. The new stylist did not perform a quality blow out and it took much longer. Finally at 3:00p my hair had still not been curled and I was waiting for my original stylist to curl my hair (she was working with a different client). Even with my appointment starting 15 minutes late, I should have been styled and out the door by this point. I needed to leave for my photoshoot by 4:00p and my hair was still not finished. I almost left, but my stylist assured me the curling would be quick. We finished at 3:22. The associate working the check-out was working with a client ahead of me who said I will never come back on a Saturday, its too crazy in here. Checkout took a while. I walked out of the salon at 3:28.

Honestly, this place is off the charts fantastic! My husband comes with me when I get my hair cut and colored by Alma and we BOTH get pampered. He was the recipient of a wonderful complimentary chair massage today and my scalp and hand massage was exactly what I needed. Alma is off the chart fabulous with color too!! Service here is intentional, professional and friendly. The salon is clean and beautiful and the complimentary beverages are delish. We travel from out of town to come here and it’s worth every mile and every minute.This salon does not disappoint! 🌺

Fantastic staff, first and foremost. Also, you can sip a drink while you get your hair done, they offer a hand and back massage (free) with each haircut, and they offer good products. I highly recommend Corina whos both friendly and skilled. I consider it a spa day every time I go. Completely reasonable prices considering the quality of all the services you will get.

I was traveling for work and needed a dry style for my company banquet. I was so thankful to find this Aveda salon near my hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Perry himself came by to greet me and assured me that my color choice would work with my skin tone and complexion.Candy went over some options and even did a test on my colored hair to see how it would do in lightening it with a foil - so Ive got one light colored streak, hidden beneath my hair. :)Im setting up an appointment to go back next week to have everything done.Definitely a 5-star experience with knowledgeable people.

In town for work and came here to have my hair done. Had great service and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Love my haircut/color. I might have to keep finding work reasons to have my hair done here. Worth every penny and reasonable prices. Ask for Santana she is amazing!

I can’t even begin to express the disappointment I feel. I expected my service to match the amount of money they pay. Perry is rude unprofessional and thinks he does people a favor for fixing his work. I will be filing a lawsuit against a his salon and I will be posting images of my hair. They said it’s my fault it broke off I’m not the professional they bleached my hair poorly over and over until I walked out with 40 % of my hair gone simply from one visit.

Im a person of habit and very skeptic when it comes to trusting a place with my hair. My friend referred me here and it was the most amazing experience I ever had at a salon! As you walk in you are getting welcomed and they ask you what drink you would like. Then Jennifer the hairstylist came over to me and gave me a small tour and then sat me down in her chair. She made sure I was comfortable cutting my long hair super short, from there we went to a massage chair where she gave me a neck and back massage. Then I got my hair washed, then back to the chair for a cut. As shes cutting my hair another person comes over and gives me an arm and hand massage. I chopped my hair at least 12 inches, Jennifer and the whole team was amazing from beginning to end. I made sure to get her card and booked my next appointment. They even touch up your makeup before you leave, and was glad I got to meet Perry as well - who is an awesome funny guy! So happy to have finally found my go-to place!

If you want to get a royal treatment when you get a haircut, than look no further. This is the place. Before covid-19 you would get a massage free of charge. You always get coffee and other refreshments. Now with covid-19 everyone is wearing masks and gloves and you get a haircut in a perfect safe environment. This is an Aveda salon with environment friendly products. Make sure you make an appointment before you go there.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Perry Monge salon today! The entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel relaxed and pampered from the moment I stepped in the door.The salon itself is beautiful, high-end and smells fantastic. It is well-designed and somehow, even in the midst of the normal hustle and bustle of a salon, I was really able to relax and could have even taken a little nap right in the chair.Santana was very attentive, really listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered a beautiful result. She proved to me that a trim at a salon can really be a trim and not a 3 hack job. Bebe was also very sweet and gave me a nice little hand massage.The bottom line is this: I have been to very high-end salons and have not felt as well taken care of as I did at Perry Monge. All the little surprise (complimentary) treats, extremely warm and competent staff, and appealing prices have made this my favorite salon! I only wish there were more locations so I could visit more frequently.The only area I can see room for improvement is the website. The site doesnt really reflect the quality of the salon itself and doesnt list all their services. For example, their site doesnt list that they offer 30-min neck and shoulder massages. It would have been great to know that they do offer neck and shoulder massages because I would have liked to have booked one for the same day as my haircut.

Enjoyed this so much! Only got a haircut, but also received shampoo and a massage (with oils) before they even brought out the scissors. The products smell so good and make your hair feel so nice. The staff is very friendly and will serve beverages of your choice while you wait. Also had my hair blow dried after they cut it (their preference) and that made it look so good. Then they also applied makeup to me. Very great experience overall and I came out feeling pretty good and pretty! Hope this helps!

Stephanie did my balayage color and a wonderful haircut! I got about 6-7 inches cut off it was all the way down to my butt LOL.I usually only do all over color but this time I did the Boliage. Ive been coming to Perry monge salon for over 20 years and have always been happy with there exceptional services. Ive had several of the stylist over the years in this salon and theyre all wonderful!This was my first time with Stephanie she is also a great hairstylist! My husband and I stayed at the Palomar and they didn’t have a spa so they called this salon. Very very high priced unorganized terrible pedicure. The chairs are uncomfortable the lady my husband had got up and left him like 5 times to go help other hair stylist. Offers us a drink didn’t have any beer they where out. We would never go back here again. The manicurist didn’t even have we wash my hands didn’t give me a massage basically filled shaped and that was it.

I went to Perry Monge today for a shampoo and style. I was really impressed with the customer service. Included in the cost of the service was a brief chair massage and makeup application. They also gave me a free hand treatment while I was getting my hair dried. Everyone was really nice and helpful...wish I had this salon back home!

I was referred by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the VIP treatment I received today from the team here. I expected a pricey haircut but received an entire pampering session. From the minute I walked in I was pampered at a level I never knew I even wanted. The complimentary beverages, back massage, hand and arm massage and exfoliation, and makeup touch up made me feel amazing- and dont forget about the perfect hair cut and blow out too!! Every one of the ladies was so well mannered and expertly trained, I just cant say enough kind things about all of them. Thank you so much to Perry and his team. I feel like a million bucks.

This salon is absolutely amazing! You walk in they treat you to a drink, give you a massage, wash your hair, give it a deep condition (extra cost) then give you the best cut ever. I am so picky when it comes to my hair and no one ever seems to do it right. I took a chance on this salon, and Jamie absolutely surpassed all of my expectations. She took her time to make sure my hair was perfect and blew my demanding request, out of the water. She did too well and is now stuck with me forever. The staff went above and beyond, in every aspect: hand treatments while my color processed, wine, I thought I had died and gone to Heaven! Hands-down one of the best salons Ive ever been to, they have earned my business for a lifetime!

Aveda Perry Monge was a life-changing experience. Id gone to the same barbershop for years before my girlfriend talked me into trying this place. The level of attention received at Perry Monge is amazing. Even now that we dont live in AZ, we still pay a visit anytime were back.

I had initially searched salons in phoenix on google and Perry Monge was one of the 1st results that came up. I read nothing but amazing reviews so decided to book an appointment. I wanted balayage and a Saturday appointment so i was booked with Jamie who they told me specialized in what i wanted. The wait was a little longee then i had wanted (as my hair was already a MESS) but let me tell you! I am so happy i waited! From the moment you walk into the salon it is everything you never even knew you were missing. Jamie is AMAZING. My hair took almost 6 hours and not once did I feel like she was rushing or ready to get me out the door. She took her time and the end result was so beautiful. I went in with red hair and left blonde. If youre looking for a salon this is the place hands down.
