ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PLACE! They lied to us from the beginning. No shuttle service, price changed multiple times, cars were literally falling apart! We took a taxi from the airport, which they said they would reimburse us for but never did! Lied and said that they were the only car rental company that would allow cars to go to Mexico. Police officer was there for a call and offered us a ride and saved us! I wouldnt send my worst enemy here! 0 STARS!!!! Scandalous!

Dont rent here! They are dishonest, shady, immoral, overpriced, and rude.The cars are unsafe, disgusting 2004s with 250,000 miles. They are grossly overpriced and they wont even give you a daily rate quote.

SCAM! They will blatantly lie to your face if it means getting cash from you. The cars are disgustingly horrible, the interior had big holes with speakers and buttons missing for Windows and other basic functions. Car smelled as if a cat had been dead in the trunk for a week. Car had over 300,000 miles on it and violently shook when it went over 30 MPH. Staff is very rude and they added new fees and charges to the reciept after I signed it and when I returned car(on time and in exact same condition, even with a full tank of gas when it was almost on E when I drove it off the lot) wanted even more money than we agreed on. This place is a joke and I would Never rent a car from here again or recommend it to anyone. NOT A LEGIT BUSINESS!

This place has the worse customer service. They are extremely unprofessional and their car rentals are not worth paying for. Please save your money and time! I promise, you will regret going to this place.

DO NOT GO HERE! If I can give 0 stars I would. I definitely should’ve read comments before renting. I had the worst experiences. I don’t know how they are even in business still. I had to get 3 cars and the last still had the check engine light on. The first car the key wouldn’t even turn I couldn’t start car when I called the rude person on the phone told me I had to put gas in the car before he could help me when putting gas in the car was NOT the issue. Someone came out and had use 5 different keys to get the car started and he brought me another car but the ver off the to the side when turning. Then gave me one last car and the engine light was on and at the point I was over it. I returned car back early they told me I put 100 deposit and when asking for it they said no I didn’t do everything was horrible! DO NOT GO HERE

I have only stopped in to collect scrap metal from their dumpster.. I try to only go after business hours.. However,, the times I had stopped in during their business hours,, I was always treated with respect by their employees..Thank you so much Phoenix Rental Car!!P.S. Ive found a lot of good scrap here.

If I can give this business 0 stars I would. Don’t go and give this place your hard earned money. They don’t care about you, what you do and if you have a complaint they can care less. I was scrutinized and and verbally disrespected by their phone guy. Just an hour for returning the car late they will consider it stolen and they will come and repo that car. No matter where you are. They don’t care, screw this place!

DO NOT GO. CANCEL YOUR PLANS THAT INVOLVE RENTING A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH IT!! This place honestly is a scam. If your under 18 and really want to get somewhere, its better just staying at home honestly. Unless you dont care that they take $400 from you to just use the car for not even a full day, then by all means, go ahead. The car is not worth it. And the people are incredibly rude, all they want is just your money. The cars may look decent on the outside but are trash on the inside.

I hope they see this because it is the most insanely terrible rental place have ever been to. Car door wouldn’t lock, roof, seats, and doors were all so dirty. And a flat tire. If you see this never go here. Most rude and terrible company ever just stealing your money pretty much.

Worst place EVER!! Do not rent from here! I advised them I was coming to pay for an additional week and they had the car “towed”. Otis Greenwood is very unprofessional and cursed out my boyfriend over the phone. Upon going to get my personal belongings, my wallet was missing but they had no knowledge of it. Long story short, police were involved and my wallet magically reappeared hours after I left their property!! They are SCAM AND CON ARTISTS!! Save your money and time. Customers service is also HORRIBLE!! They will yell at you and hang up in your face!! Being investigated by the Attonery Generals office also!!

Be careful i rented a car from here. I was told I was gonna pay 129 for a rental n ended being charged $250 be careful the cars are dirty and raggedy. U are better off using a Uber. At less at a good rental place u get better cars.

Phoenix Car Rental is under investigation for FRAUD by the Attorney General. Do not do business here under any circumstance. We shouldve looked at these other reviews before renting here. Rented a car here, paid for a week up front. The second day the side wall of the tire blew out. Then the spare didnt fit! Then the jack broke almost breaking an arm. The owner not only wouldnt refund any money, he picked the car up on the 3rd day. This case is going to court. Otis Greenwood (owner) is completely unprofessional, and an obvious con. Do Not Rent Here!

Very Shady office. Plus they want a 200$ deposit on a rental car. That is astronomically high. No legit business acts the way this company does.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE RENTING......I will absolutely not recommend this company to anyone even if you are under the age of 25.. I rented a car for a weekend and was told there was a 200$ Deposit (a returnable sum payable on the rental of something, to cover any possible loss or damage.) and was quoted 450 for the Rental including the deposit. Well when I got to the rental place I was gave an Approximate total of $339.82. Later when returning the car a total was written at the bottom of receipt of $275. I received $60.12 to my bank account. I then called and everytime was told to allow 3 business days. I then called on a Saturday and was talked to rudely and told to call back Monday. So I called back Monday 08/05/19 and talked to a guy with the worst customer service and talked to me as if I was dumb and had a misunderstanding regarding what a deposit is. If my total is 275$, $400 was pulled from my card and $60 was returned, I believe $65 is still owed to me... But somewhere there is a miscommunication within the company. And the car sucked. I would give 0 stars if I could. FRAUDS...

First I had to give at least 1 star but it was very undeserved. This place should get a negative rating for the dishonest way they treat their clients.Phoenix rental car is a total rip off....***SCAM alert. My $126 dollar weekly car rental cost me $273.58 and he handed me the bill with a smile on his face.These people are 100% rip off artists.Please use another rental car service if you want honesty and a fair price.

If you dont have any other options... Then yes by all means rent from them. The van we had.. stopped on us every time we turned the corner or went over speed bump... Got lite headed from oil coming from engine... No A.C. in van, the doors didnt lock properly.. I couldnt rent from enterprise, needed a Credit Card.. And both my vehicles needed servicing so I needed a rental asap.. Came across there business. If your new in town wit no options. Uber or lyft is better honestly!!! I felt like I was driving my Dads mechanic car... You know with the oil stains on the carpet... All it was missing was the tool box in the back. And was charged $300 for a van I felt unsafe inside

Make no mistake this place is the absolute worst place ever. Renting from PCR better be serving you a higher purpose because it is not worth the money spent dealing with these rude and unprofessional people. If you have no othee optuons use them but, Id rather slide down a razor blade and land in an alcohol river than to do business with these people. These people are worthless individuals when it comes to doing business. They treat customers like trash while gladly taking your money. Their phone skills are worse just know they are not there to help you with anything. These are probably some of the most worthless individuals to ever make it into the womb. They have no respect, lack integrity and do not care one bit about providing a good service. Use them if you want but, Id recommend rethinking your whole life first.

Im writing this review on the behalf of of my mother. This place is horrible, they are rude individuals. My mom rented a car from them a week ago, she was supposed to have it for another week, they took money out of her account for that week. They repo the car, they told her to call 911 nd report it stolen, The guy she was talking to kept hanging up on her. We went down there to gey her personal belongings, they guy that was there was rude nd gave her the wrong paperwork to show she got the car for 2 weeks..DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE

This is the worst rental company in the city of Phoenix. I rented a vehicle while on vacation and they tried to repo the car before the contract due date and on top of that they assaulted me in the process and I actually am pressing charges as one of their employees that was placed under arrest due to them assaulting me in the process of trying to illegally repo the car before the contract date

This business is under investigation for FRAUD by the District Attorneys office, for illegal business practices. They also allow their employees to let their friends use their cars, and dont take responsibility for their employees wrecking OR peoples vehicles. Save yourself the illegal practices and skip this rental place.

I was sitting in my PARKED car waiting for a family member to drop off one of their rentals & an employee hit my car! contacted my insurance & they said the rental place cant recall the accident & theyre acting like they cant do anything about it even though they took photos of our cars & said everything would be solved. Dishonest people.
