Great experience. Process was quick and efficient. Rental agent was knowledgeable and courteous. Bad location with all the construction on Central but it is what it is and they are doing the best they can.
Excellent customer service here -- from beginning to end! Enterprise is and has always been great; but at least in my recent experience (even as I observed them juggling phone calls, returns and pickups), the management and staff at this location clearly go above and beyond in every conceivable way... with the utmost professionalism. Had a reservation on Friday aug 27th I show up and no vehicle is available. Had to cancel our camping trip up north to woods canyon lake, thanks alot enterprise you made my weekend.....
The person that cleaned the car didnt clean it good the they didnt clean the back seat where the we put the cups at when I opened it it was very dirty and the oil light came on Saturday oil change but other besides that everything was good so you got a three for that
They let you reserve a particular type of vehicle on their website very easily, but then when you show to pick it up they dont have it and havent for weeks.Then, when they respond to your 1 star review and say that theyre forwarding your complaint to a regional manager no one bothers to contact you afterwards.Their website is a bait and switch tool to get you stranded at their office and theyll respond to your review online just to give the appearance of good customer service. Their corporate office responded within twenty four hours to my review of the even worse experience I had at another one of their offices but its been over a week and I havent heard from their regional manager.If all you need is whatever vehicle they happen to have on hand youll probably be okay, but if you need a particular size or type of vehicle because of a disability try your luck elsewhere.

I would not go here. People are extremely rude. One of the employees, Anthony Burke became very angry and threatening. His counterparts, Katie McCullough, was also very rude. I guess they donβt believe the customer service. I then asked to speak with a manager and they said they donβt have one.
Our car was stolen recently and we needed a rental car π₯ΊAlexis helped us out with our car rental and she was amazing!The whole experience with dealing with her was so easy and she even got us into a super nice car.We will definitely use them for future rentals!
I rarely write Google reviews, it takes a certain experience to spark such action. Well that experience happened. And the βsparkβ involves my βEnterprise Angelsβ aka, Alexis and Katie. Hereβs a quick synopsis: A family member rented a car for me thinking they booked it at the Enterprise at Phoenix airport. Nope. It was actually at the Central Ave Enterprise location. It was a holiday weekend and everybody (including the airport Enterprise sold out or pretty close) I checked the competitor next door to see if they had any available cars and they found one! But at triple the price. So I headed out via cab to the Central Ave Enterprise where I had that standing reservation. While driving over, I called ahead and learned they closed in 3 minutes. Yikes! I begged them to stay open and told them I was on my way.This is where the angels floated down and made everything okay.I got there a few minutes after closing. Alexis and Katie had keptthe place open for me. They could not have been more calm, gracious and helpful. In fact, I was upgraded to an SUV the size of Montana at no extra cost. Everything turned out great. And when I returned the car four days later, my Angels - Alexis and Katie - were there to greet me again. Above and beyond service all the way! 10 stars and a glowing Google review from an infrequent reviewer. :)

My scheduled pickup was at 11am, unfortunately I did not get a vehicle until 1:30pm. When I arrived at 11, the attendant said the vehicle wasnβt ready and there would be an hour wait. I went to get lunch for 1.5 hours and returned at 12:30 and the vehicle still was not available. The Enterprise staff responsible for cleaning the vehicles to be COVID ready, were not on premise until 12:45. Bottom line is this location is understaffed with very limited, available vehicles. The wait time is unacceptable.For future rentals, I will not return to this location even though it is the closest to my home.
Well dont go to the enterprise on south central (Central & Broadway the manager lied about my rental I was only going to rent for 4 days, she talked me into 5 days and said i would get 2 free days. That is not what happened oh i got the fifth day charged to my card but only got 4 days, then she called and said if i kept it any longer i would be charged. Never got the 2 free days, horrible place to rent a car, beware dont go there!!!!!

Received a call about our reservation from Jacob at the 4121 S Central Ave location in Phoenix, a few days before our arrival. He was very pleasant and helpful in getting our information squared away before we arrived for pickup. Upon arrival, we again encountered Jacob. He has amazing customer service skills, as well as the other staff we encountered on our pick up and drop off. The car was great, (above our expectation) and also the best price compared to the Hertz airport rentals. Took a taxi from the airport to pick up and upon drop off they called to get us a ride back to the airport....which arrived promptly with a very pleasant driver Ricardo.Our experience was absolutely wonderful and we will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others!!! Thanks to all of you for making our trip so easy peasy and with a smile!!Keep up the great work!!! π

Ive renting from Enterprise for a year & half.... ONLY ONCE did I get a CLEAN automobile!!! And that once was because the car was brand new! Often times I would pick up the car and thought it was clean ONLY to find that the inside front windshield was filthy when the setting sun hit the windshield making for a difficult drive. Every car I rented I took to get them washed before I used them. This last rental was over the top filthy, an SUV, dog hair. Even though they cleaned it and the inside smelled clean, BS! I had to scrub the inside seats, paneling, windows, etc. I will not be using Enterprise after this latest experience.

We rented a car in Phoenix and our car broke down a few hrs after picking it up, I called Enterprose expecting someone come meet us with a new car but they said they dont do that and wer would have to wait for roadside assistance to come and have them take us top the airport location where they would then try to find us a new car, roadside took almost 2he to come, its over 100Β° and Im with my elderly mom and 2 young children, then find out the they are sold out and have to go to original location to get a car, 4hrs later they finally got us a replacement car, shocked at the poor customer service!
Very helpful. Needed a rental as my car is in the shop. They did everything they could to make sure the process went smoothly and I was able to rent a car. They even had to stay past their closing because of time delays caused by me and mine. The car I got is clean and reliable good condition with no visible problems and runs smoothly. Not sure what else I could ask for. The price is reasonable

The Enterprise team was ready to work with. They have me a nice car to drive while my car was being repaired. When I called to see how much the car was they give me the information right away. A lot of people talk about good customer service, but this service at South Mountain was awesome.In a last minute situation that was very complicated and stressful on MY end as a customer, Erica Bohling was more than accommodating in getting my family on the road.Had we NOT gotten the rental in time we wouldve missed a landmark graduation in San Francisco. We just got back today, and she was STILL awesome! All circumstantial details aside. When timing, distance, and traffic provided enough roadblock; getting an affordable efficient vehicle through Enterprise was not.You guys at enterprise did well hiring her. Im sure you have a few more outstanding team members, but this was STANDOUT! Im super impressed, and Ill rent from that location again. Best customer service! Switched from Thrifty years ago and wont go back. I wouldnt be surprised if Thrifty threw the keys at you as you walked by whereas Enterprise will introduce themselves, walk you to your car, complete a walk around with you, give vehicle instructions if needed and even offer bottles of water.

They are super friendly, knowledgeable about their positions, go out of their way to provide excellent customer services for their customers, their friendliness and professionalism exceeded expectations and should be recognized. Ive had to get rentals from this location twice now and Ive always had great customer service. Erica was helping me this last time, super nice and the Altima looked and smelled like it just got a professional detail. Definitely recommend this location.
Had a scheduled pick up Saturday at noon showed up two hours early. Was working with the lady and she said that we would have to wait in queue to get our car. She said it would probably take an hour which I understand since I was early. I turned to my wife and said I really donβt want to hang around an enterprise location all day I wish there something else we could do. I was thinking of going to breakfast with my wife before I left her for a week. Erica who is potentially the manager there who know she didnβt even have a name tag on was right next to the lady I was dealing with and she chimes in with you can come back at noon. I was thinking she was being helpful and I said OK. She says βinstead of standing there mumbling under your breathβ!?? A lady in the lobby gasped at that comment she couldnβt believe she said it either! Erica then went on to say that I could come back at noon and they might or might not have a car for me. I was seriously astonished. I went outside called enterprise filed a complaint and cancel my reservation. Iβve rented with enterprise at the airport 20 times and never had a customer service issue. I donβt know what the hell theyβre thinking but they need to get rid of this employee. I looked at the location and couldnβt believe it had two stars. I thought it was impossible to have two stars. But this location should have zero stars.
ALL of the agents there are AWESOME. Each time Ive gone there theyve been polite and attentive. Even when the office packed, they make sure they acknowledge you and continue to let you know they havent forgot about you.The last time I rented a car they did not have the vehicle I reserved available the contacted a Agency in the area and located a vehicle for me. Unfortunately, that vehicle was having some problems. When I called to explain the issue, they told me to come back and they would exchange it. When I arrived, they did not have any standard vehicles so they upgraded me without any extra charge.Nick and Brittany are GREAT!!!! Very personable and sweet. I recommend this location to everyone I know.

Just a short taxi ride from the airport and the same class car rental was half price of Sky Harbor rates. Friendly, courteous, and professional counter personnel with no pushing pressure to buy extra coverages to jack up the total price. Car was clean and efficient on gas mileage; return was fast and exactly as described with no surprises. I did not have to go through the hassle of airport traffic either. I will be using this service on future trips to Phoenix and I am totally satisfied and pleased with the entire experience. This is rare with car rentals. Try this and you will wonder why you did not find this sooner.
Worst experience ever! If I could give no stars I would. Customer service wasnt adequate to resolve our situation. Lack of experience and needs more training. Behind a bunch of legal babble they wring you for every penny they could get. Good thing I dont travel a lot cause if I did it wouldnt be with enterprise. Website sucked, wasnt very user friendly at all. You want customer feedback, well here it is. Read the fine print they say your process is flawed.

A-1 I think this location provided me with even a quicker in and out process then most I have rented from in my home state of California. My experience was suburb with my overall rental experience and the customer service was awesome. The only thing I could say maybe could be better is if this location had drop off service especially still being within airport distance it would be a great option to have. Traveling is already such a high expense and being offsite from the airport it makes the rates so much more appealing to a traveling eye which is why I choose the location. But I will definitely be using this site again in my future travels to Phoenix.

These guys are amazing!...We were waiting for our car, it was still getting an oil change (We were super early) and while pulling out they got a nail in the tire. So the gentlemen in the front hooked us up with the new 2018 Durango. Mind you I had seen it pulling in and hoped it was ours but it was way out of our price range and well they ended up letting us take that one anyways...

I picked up a car here on Tuesday 4-9- the first person I dealt with was Alfredo and he was very helpful. I got the rental on empty I only had it for 1 day- wasnβt supposed to return it until Thursday I brought it back- 1 day early. When I brought it back on 4-10-19 I brought it back with the Gas tank at 5/8. Didnβt get a refund on gas which is fine but I also didnβt get a ride back to where I needed to go which was only 5.2 miles the person that I dealt with chase- told me they only do up to 5.0 miles on rides back. Very disappointed with the service I received from this location will never go back to this location again.
I had an excellent experience renting from this location in January 2017. Ready for me, very friendly and helpful, highly recommend. Much cheaper to rent here, too, rather than at Sky Harbor airport. Uber ride cost us $15 but we saved a couple hundred by renting here instead of at the airport.
We chose this Enterprise because it was double the price to rent the same car at the airport. However, despite Enterpriseβs slogan, βWeβll pick up up,β they could not pick us up from the airport (some sort of contract issue with the airport Enterprise). We decided to take an Uber to and from the airport for $13. Today, while returning the car, my husband left his cell phone in the car we rented. We didnβt realize this until we were through airport security. We thought weβd have to take an Uber back to pick up the phone and potentially miss our flight. However, Keith, the manager, got a driver to bring my husband his phone to the departure drop off point in under 10 min. Such prompt and excellent service is rarely seen. We are very grateful to Keith and his team for going the βextra mileβ or 8 to help us out today. I highly recommend this Enterprise because of the excellent service and great price deal we got on this trip.
Enterprise was great.. they offered a fair deal, the car was clean and worked out perfectly for us. I had to make a few phone calls to the Enterprise office where we rented the car and the service was good.

No other employees stepped in to help offer solutions. I rented from you guys for months at a time and this was very sad treatment. I decide to do business elsewhere. You lost a loyal customer. Enterprise Rent a Car has been my Go-To for car rentals for years. My experience has always been positive until my most recent rental with this Central Avenue location.The purpose of my rental was due to an insurance claim. The rental reservation was set up by Geico. The satellite location my rental was reserved at did not answer their phones on day one. The second day they answered and I was advised of their phone issues. They provided the number to another location and they referred me to Goodyear, who then transferred me to their Central ave location.I arranged pick up with Mike and updated my address. I received a call from Erica about 18 mins before pickup time confirming the wrong address. I was a little put off about the 18 minute pick up time and her advice that the βdriver will not wait for meβ, and that itβs going to be a βshuttle serviceβ, picking up more than one person bc they overbooked.The driver picked me up and was super cool, but the car smelled like rotten eggs, that mildew wet carpet smell gone bad.Erica, the manager on site was Obviously understaffed. She was helping customers and helping her staff do their jobs as well. I acknowledge that, however, itβs not an excuse to be rude in tone. She offered me the smelly car, which I refused. She made a comment that they pride themselves in βcustomer serviceβ and reminded me that they βwent out of their way to pick me up.β I didnβt remind her that is the service that they offer. She was not happy that I refused the smelly car and gave me another car instead that still needed to be cleaned.I had to wait and extra 20 plus minutes after waiting about to be helped in the first place. The car looked like someone took a wet rag and wiped it down. The car smelled like a wet diaper and was in poor condition. Ripped and stained seats in the back and scratches on the exterior throughout. The guy that helped me was courteous and accommodating.I have never been offered a car in such poor condition by this company. I am in shock and disappointed. If this was on my dime I wouldβve walked out.This location βstinksβ...based on my experience.

I overall enjoyed the experience and the customer service is great, however I was greatly disappointed in their suspension of the weekend special. They continue to advertise on their website, but whenever I request a reservation nothing is available. I dont drive much, and the weekend specials were great for short trips. Is enterprise trying to lose customers?

Called at 9am for a rental car. Got a reservation with a confirmation #. Told them we were leaving the house then to pick it up. Would be about 15 minutes. Got there and was told they didnt have any available, we were 17th in line and maybe by 2pm they might have a car. Why werent we told this when we called. Came across with a rude attitude. However, called the Enterprise off Priest Dr by the Auto Loop and that was fantastic! Would recommend them at 6 out of 5 stars!

I had always been a fan of Enterprise but this time they screwed me up majorly. I had reserved a full sized car for a particular time. Yet when I arrived no car was available in any size and the wait time I was told would be 2-3 hours. What is the point of having a reservation if no car is actually being reserved. Seinfeld all over again.

Worst to Satisfied. - from 1 star to 4.Worst Enterprise Ive ever had to deal with. Im traveling from out of town for a wedding. Booked a reservation, went to this location by taking a Lyft. First thing I realized is there were no cars in the parking lot. I figured maybe the cars were out back. I went in and got checked in just fine. Keith charged my card and asked me to take a seat while they cleaned my car out. I sat there for about 8 min and more customers started to come in. He told the lady after me that the wait would be an hour 1/2 then the next customer that came in was told I know you made a reservation but were sold out. it will be 2 hours. Then he proceeded to charge her card. I got up to ask if the car out front was mine since I was told We are cleaning it. and he said no that my wait would be maybe 1/12 or more, they dont know when the delivery will happen. Why would you not inform me like everyone else? Give the customer another location? He told me I could walk and get breakfast and come back to see if they had a car. This is by far the worst experience I ever had. I took a Lyft back to my hotel and now wondering if I will get a call or if I just Lyft back up there and ask. This could have been handled better. Very Disappointed.Update 10/19: Keith contacted me the same day and asked about my customer experience. I told him how I felt and he proceeded to apologized for not being transparent about the wait time. He explained that it was a learning curve and that he would work on being upfront about wait times. He then discounted my week rental. Im glad that the situation was handled and most importantly I was heard. Thank you Enterprise for great customer service. This was the first time my reservation was delayed 3+ hours but it was taken care of.

Returned a rental on time same condition. Got charged extra $29.00 without reason. It wasnt because of taxes.2. Complaint 2. Was supposed to get a ride back, wanted me to wait to hours. Or he coyld call a cab. Most locations will offer to pat for your Uber or give you a discount. Not this one.

VERY DISSAPOINTED !!For the past several years I have rented from Enterprise for the month of March and have always been very satisfied but not this year.My flight into Phoenix was delayed which put me at the off airport rental location about 30 min. before closing time and it was very apparent that the woman at the counter was more interested in ending her work day than being polite (somewhat surly)!!We have always gotten a free up-grade as a loyal customer but not this time. Was told that any of the normal cars on the lot were reserved for the next days customers. Why not try to take care of todays customers first and then worry about tomorrow.Got the car, drove to Palm Desert California where we spent the month of March and after a few days noticed that the passenger air bag dash lite was on which means that in the event of a collision that the air bag would not deploy.Went to the Enterprise location in Indio, Cal. which was the closest and told them of the problem. Was told that they didnt have any cars nor did the Enterprise location In Palm Desert and that we would need to take the car to the airport location in Palm Springs if we wanted a different car (about a 20- 30 mile distance).Now someone please tell me how this adds up to good customer service or good customer satisfaction. I would think that at the very least they would have taken our address and offered to bring a car to our location.Over the past several years I have probable spent $4000 on Enterprise rentals but in the future that money will be going to another rental company.Bob PetersSt.Paul, MN.
I struggled with several car rental companies searching for a full size SUV none were available between 4 different companies. Kieth Boatright was the only one from Enterprise and competing rental companies that pulled though for us. Keith is a class act and I can not say enough for what he did for us on our trip in Scottsdale!

Gave me a truck with spare tire, and was told to switch out next day at any other location. Nothing was done next day, and was told to go back to brach to sort things out. Waist of time Customer service also hung up on me . . . . Ect
The team there is AMAZING!! They helped me out when I needed it most and hooked me up to make up for some hiccups on someone elses part along the way. I will for sure go back to them if I am in that area again.
