Got a regular mani Pedi and so far its lasted without chipping (5days now) !

Great experience! Manager/lady-in-charge is so kind and obliging, and she does a fabulous job! My acrylic nails always look like natural nails!

I have never written a negative google review and hardly complain but I felt I needed to after my appointment. Went 2 times. First time gel mani which the lady did not cover my nail with the polish and cut my skin a few times with the cuticle trimmers. Gel peeled in 5 days. Then I was in a pinch and needed a mani pedi for vacation so I decided to give it another shot. This time while I was getting pedi, I was also getting bit by a bug flying around! And my French manicure was the worst I’ve ever had. Again cutting my skin with clippers. And french tips were not straight or full solid lines. When I asked her to fix one which looked chipped because of the missing white part in the middle she gave me a rude look and turned to talk to her coworker about me. Will not go back, which sucks because I live so close by!

Both experiences at Fairmount Nail salon have been great!! Anna and Katie are so sweet and friendly. Both did wonderful jobs doing my acrylic nails. Highly recommend going here.Can’t believe it’s only $15 for a refill!

Love my new nails! I walked in this Saturday afternoon. I waited about an hour in the acrylic smells but that was worth it. I got a full set of acrylics with extensions for $34. The lady was very nice, fast and professional. I will come back!

I love getting my nails done here so much that even after moving to New York City, I still come back to Philly to get them done. Their prices are great for the quality of work that they do. Although, Ill only go to Anna to get my UV gel manicures.

Today was the 2nd time I sat for over an hour after my “service” had started. The last time with foil on my fingertips, today with my fingers in a bowl of polish remover. I understand that you need to soak to get the gel/powder off, but not for over an hour!! No one came to check, said anything to me, nothing. This is the 2nd time I got up and left when they continued to take customers ahead of me. I won’t be back.

I kept coming here because its so close to my house, and the price is good. Every time I go there something goes wrong . There are like 2 women there that do a decent job, and act like they care. Their prices are great but they arent consistent with the work they do, and thats frustrating. I wont be going back after my last experience. I was very unhappy. They came out extremely short, and sloppy. If I tried to ask her to fix something she made an excuse. I just gave up, and wanted to get out of there asap. I am not one who likes to complain or speak out, but after this being the 4th time something went wrong, I had to.Try it out, but dont have high expectations. Maybe youll have a better service than mine.

I have gone to this salon since I moved to Fairmount almost 3 years ago. Everyone is polite and helpful. I go to Te who is excellent; but when she was on vacation - her substitutes were also good.

The staff was nice but the woman who did my nails did a pretty horrible job. She didnt cover the entire nail bed. Also, its been 5 days and my nails are already peeling bad. Will not be returning.

Horrible, their work is horrendous and their staff pretend not to understand English. This place is a joke.

They are careful and affordable. I also like how they are honest about availability. It would be nice if they had more technicians for weekend business.

Do yourself a favor and skip this place! I tried this place 11 years ago when I first moved to the area and now I remember why I never came back. The women are rude and act like their doing you are favor. I had to ask the lady sitting in the pedicure chair if she worked there or was a customer because she looked up when I walked in and then continued to play with her phone. I almost walked out after the 3rd time the lady caught my skin with her nail tool. They also charge $2 extra for cutting your nails!!! That’s like going to the Dr and having to pay extra to get your temperature taken. No wonder this place is always empty. Big fail!

The WORST service I have ever recieved. Waited an hour with no greeting. They let others in front of me and gave them multiple services before me. Then when they did tell me it was my turn she said She doesn’t do acrylic and I would have to wait another hour. When I asked if I could come back and still be in line she gave me attitude and said no. Would not even respond or look up at me and when I asked again she said “ I told you an hour” as other customers laughed. I will never be going back again and I hope no one would!!! So disspointing

The staff is friendly. The services are really good. I love the way they do my eyebrows.

Don’t get a dip here. Nails chipped after 3 days. I called in to get them fixed was told since it’s been a week that happens. My dips stay on for three weeks always. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and will never return.

Everytime I need a Refill by two weeks time I have to replace missing nails, they dont feel responsible for replacing 🤔🤬

After reading the reviews, I thought it was just me! Ok so other people have seen what I have seen. I want to say that I have been to this salon a few times- and I have never had so many broken nails in a month in my life! I think their nail designs are very nice, but the customer service does suck pretty bad!I am not satisfied with the work once I leave Bec of course they look pretty under their lights- u get home and omg u see all kinds of flaws- between lumpy nails to the fact that Im not all cut up around my cuticles! My nailist in another state had been growing my nails out and just applying gel on top- now as a result of being here I have 3 fake nails Bec everytime I get a refill before I come.back a nail is broken! Im really not sure why this is happening, unless they have cheap nail products or theyre filing the nail too low and not applying enough product..I watch them very closely and I dont believe they want to service ALL customers! I have sat for 2 hours and thats Bec I had to have nails repaired! So needless to say, I wont be going back. I tried to like them for convience purposes, but clearly Ive wasted enough time and money..

Just wanted to leave a review here. First and foremost let me say Ive been going to this salon for a while and each time something strange has happened. I like it because it is close to my house, but save yourself the trouble and walk a few extra blocks.Im currently sitting in the chair for a pedicure and after waiting an HOUR AND A HALF the woman gets up in the middle to go puts around - no offense, but what are you doing? The reason I even waited so long was because they kept saying no, no 5 more minutes Needless to say Im furious. Theyre so rude, not attentive and the heat is on full blast making it incredibly uncomfortable. They also have told me NUMEROUS times they dont take reservations and have been saying all morning that people have had reservations, umm what!?Will I be back, hell no. What a waste of time.

It was terrible. The customer service is UNBELIEVABLE disgusting. I came for my appointment at the time I made it for. I had to wait longer than 45 minutes, and there was absolutely no explanation for the wait. When I asked who I made the appointment with on the phone, the owner, Anne, responded extremely rude, as it was her on the phone. She rolled her eyes, and turned her back toward me several times while I was talking to her. When I called to say I was on my way, she didnt let me know it was crowded or anything, I would have rescheduled. I told her she needed to work on her communication because this whole issue could have been avoided if she was honest. Instead of worrying about their customers, they seem to be motivated by money.

My nails usually fall off its been a lil over two weeks just now needing a refill n NONE fell off not even lose.

Made me wait forever for manicure. Gel polishes are all old and dried up. Manicurist made my finger and nails bleed! Poor attention to detail and dirty looking inside. Pay $5 and look elsewhere.
