Got a gel manicure and that same night it began to crack, i called them to tell them about the situation and they said i should come in. i made it clear i wanted a refund due to the fact i don’t want their services, they denied my refund. the lady had an attitude. my cuticles were not properly cleaned, the polish began to chip 2 days later. gel polish should not chip right away, hence the reason why it’s more expensive than regular polish. i wouldn’t recommend this nail salon to anyone.

Worst nail experience Ive had in a while. I went for a gel manicure. I told the technician there were spots and bubbles on my nails and that it was not done well. She told me no and then just charged me and asked if I was going to tip cash or card. The other technicians just shook their head and did not even try to see what was going on, ignoring me completely. Extremely unprofessional and very poor quality. Would highly NOT recommend.

My friend and I went here on a nice day downtown and we went in the get gel manicures and must I say we were better off with our nails not DONE than to sit and be over charged to take off press on nails and for a half done job within a few hours the gel polish on my friend nails started to chip! HOW EMBARRASSING?! My friend then called the place to inform them of the poor quality and they rushed her off the phone with no concern at all! They were super insensitive to the terrible nail job they had done then my friend called again and they said we won’t give you your money back only a credit to use in our salon? Who is their right mind is going back to a nailery such as that one ?! 10/10 DON’T RECOMMENDED STAY FAR AWAY unless you don’t mind chipped nails right before a brunch with mimosa !

Good afternoon everyone, I would recommend this nail salon. The technician who did my manicure, and pedicure was Van. I actually think this may be one of the few nail salons that still give a short hand massage, which I really enjoy 😊. Theyre friendly, its clean, and they take their time.

Really unfriendly and rude!! She clearly didnt want my business from the time i walked in. I told the lady she was too rough with the wax and she got upset with me and pulled even harder! Then charged me a price that was not even on their list. DO NOT GO HERE

Came in while visiting Philly and tried the dip powder. Good service! The lady was really nice and patient. Not very busy which means good safety measures are being followed. I recommend.

Great nail salon! They have 2 locations just a few blocks away from each other. It was busy but I still only had to wait about 5 minutes and I didn’t have an appointment. The salon was clean and the workers were so nice. I lovee my nails, Lee did an incredible job. I’m so happy I found my new nail place.

This is a great place to get an inexpensive and quick eyebrow wax in center city. Ive been a customer for a few years now and have never been disappointed with my brows.

Was just walking by and decided to stop in. they took me right away and did an absolutely wonderful job. I used to get my nails done in Chicago and I dont mind paying $5 more than I used to pay because they did a much better job. The ladies were super friendly and funny. It was an overall great experience. I will definitely be going back.

Horrible manicure and pedicure. The lady that worked on me did not seem to know what she was doing at all. The pedicure and manicure together was 80 dollars. Highly over priced. When I first walked in the lady made it very clear that was the cost. She made it seem like she needed to tell me because maybe I couldnt afford it? I had just came out of work so I did not look fancy. Any how I agreed to the cost because I needed the service and plus I thought hey for that price i must be getting a good job done. I dont mind paying more for quality. However the pedicure and manicure experience was essentially the lady taking my old nail polish of and applying new nail polish because she did the bare minimal rushing through the whole thing. I must also mention that the pedicure basin was not clean before me and I noticed when another customer came in and they just sat her were I had just sat and did not clean the basin at all. The towels used on me smelled of cat urine. I would not recommend this nail salon at all.

I have to admit, I read all of the terrible reviews on this place & still went because I really needed too. Well a woman named Van took care of me & she was wonderful. I came in with damaged, bare nails & she cared about what i wanted. I left amazed at how gorgeous my nails looked after what I read. I dont know about the other technicians, but Van is a great nail technician. Great hand massage & short pleasant neck massage while I dried. Go see her :)

Great service, everyone was very nice. The woman who did my nails was especially sweet. She did my nails perfectly and was great with designs. Only downside was that I usually wait around 3 weeks to get my nails filled, but after visiting Central Nails my nails started to come off earlier then that.

Friday evening, it was snowing so it wasnt crowded at first, but after my daughter and I got seated and started our acrylics, a small crowd started coming in, but we were good to go. Great service.

I used to go there when I lived in Philly, but usually go to my girls in Jersey now. However Friday morning I came in for a quick eyebrow wax before work, and Im very disappointed. Not only did she snatch off my whole eyebrow(even though I specifically said, just clean up) my eyebrows have been itchy and irritated ever since. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN

Visited the location at 18th and Chestnut and was very disappointed. They rushed through my pedicure. She was done in 15 minutes. At one point I had to tell her to slow done and do a thorough job. She later did my manicure and asked if i wanted two coats of polish. Its a standard rule to do 2 coats. I can only think she was rushing through my nails to get to the next customer. Afterwards, I walked to the front to pay and she kept walking from the back of the store to the front to see if I would tip her. It was one of the worst nail experiences I have had. Will never go again!

First place to put a full set in my girl that lasted for 2 weeks! Normal nail polish too! Not even gel!

I got charged $76 for a pedicure and a refill with gel polish....when asked why so much, they charged me $25!! for gel polish!!! I have NEVER heard of such a thing!!! I will NEVER go there again.... I am more mad at myself for not opening my mouth for the ridiculousness of the cost...so now I am making it known. I would never tell anyone to go here.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! My Mom and I went there for a simple gel manicure and the experience was terrible. The woman who did my nails was very nice, but my nails were uneven and she put so much clear gel on that it was all over my skin and I had to file it off when we left. The woman who did my Mom’s nails was so nasty! She kept arguing with my Mom that she had acrylic on her nails, even though my Mom hasn’t had acrylic in over a year, and kept telling her, “it’s my job, I know you have acrylic”. She kept arguing and said it would be $10 more and then tried to pop the non-existent acrylic off my Mom’s nails. At that point, the owner finally looked at my Mom’s nails and said it was clear that there was no acrylic on her nails. The woman finally then painted my Mom’s nails, but 3 days later the color somehow completely changed and went from a pretty mauve to a basic beige. Again, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

I got the best manicure I have ever had. I am a hairstylist and my hands are always in water. My polish only lasts for a day or two, but my manicure here lasted for almost a week. Miracle!!

They are usually not to busy and get you right away I can see it being busier during the week. They give you a mini back massage when you are done 💅

Got a pedicure a few times never had to wait but they always rush it. My pedicure is only 10 mins long even if theres no one else in line. Not happy with the work and will not be returning.

Nail polish in open wounds caused by employees who dont know what theyre doing.. just to be over priced as hell. worst nail experience Ive ever had I practically was bleeding and crying the whole time. I was here for 1.5 hours just getting a full set without having to wait in line! why did it take so long all for the woman to constantly cut into my cuticles and end up leaving with ruined nail polish because I couldnt handle the pain

Awful establishment with horrendous customer service. Worst of all - its completely unsanitary. Went here with a friend to get a mani/pedi; we were the first ones here. Once the pedicurist got started in my friend, she abruptly decided to go open the metal window gate (read dirty and rusty) outside while wearing sanitation gloves. When she proceeded to continue with the pedicure, my friend politely asked if she would please change her gloves. At this point, the pedicurist threw a fit and refused to continue with my friends pedicure. Feeling extremely uncomfortable, I asked my manicurist to just finish cleaning up my cuticles. She worked on my hands for 5 mins and asked for a full fee of $15. When we politely said that its really not a full job, my nails are still jagged and a mess, she said doesnt matter and they all began YELLING at us. We gave them the $15 so we can get out of there ASAP. This place is a rip-off. And not worth the risk of getting an infection from their unsanitary practices.

Solidly mediocre. They got the job done but it wasnt great and was a little overpriced. They do give you a glass of wine and a little massage at the end though!
