I went to this salon 3 times, really hoping I would have a better experience each time. It’s very clean and styled nicely, most of the ladies are very nice. My first problem was that 2 of the 3 times I made appointments for 10 am and showed up on time, I had to wait outside because they were late opening the salon, and I awkwardly sat and waited for them to get their day started. One of those times the tech who I had made an appointment with was late. They offered to start me with another tech, which I did to stay on my schedule, but then I was questioned by another tech why I didn’t wait for the tech who was late. During one of my appointments, my tech stopped multiple times to take phone calls, some of them loud and angry. During another appointment she held a loud conversation with another tech about someone wanting to fight her and something about cops. AllIn all….. as someone who was a stylist for 14 years and managed front of house for restaurants…I feel like there is A LOT of professionalism lacking here. Secondly, the quality of work was just ok and inconsistent - not to mention they up charge you for everything and their pricing is not clear. My acrylic nails were done quite thick during my last appointment, the polish was bumpy, and my cuticles were burned off with the dremel, leaving me sore for days.

Not worth the hype tbh. The lady who did my nails was nice but everyone else was so un patient. Not to mention, the way they charge extra for every little service that you’d expect it comes with the set it’s ridiculous in my opinion.

I spent 3 and a half hours at the salon for an express pedicure and dip fullset, even with an appointment I had to wait almost an hour in between services. I got my nails done Saturday and by Monday night a nail came off and another while doing my hair Tuesday morning. It took 3 people to do a simple black outline on the nails and it still wasnt what I wanted, they were in a rush to get me out and the black outline was smeared all over, not to mention I asked for a cuticle clean up and was ignored. This place came very highly recommended and for a 100+ tip trip to the nail salon, I am extremely disappointed.

Wasnt the best experience. The nail tech appeared to be new, meaning inexperienced. The service that i paid for the nail society pedicure which i thought was something special, was not. My cuticle were sore for a couple of days, bottom of my feet where i get a callous because i work on my feet long hours bothered me. It was achy when i walked, which Ive never experienced in my years of having my feet done. Beautiful place of business, not worth what i paid. If i paid for a specific type of treatment dont give an inexperienced worker thats learning as they go. Then the gratuity was ridiculous. I already overpaid for mediocre service, then tech wants over $10 tip. I gave her $5 in which i shouldnt have gave anything. Wont be going back there again.

Beautiful nails by Thao but they’re dishonest about their pricing. I called about a full coffin set with gel and they told me $40 then charged me $62. It sucks because the nails are beautiful but for a full set with no design that’s pretty ridiculous and they were really rude about it. 0 stars

The lady that did my feet and nails was very nasty I didn’t like her energy. I didn’t feel welcomed at all and she didn’t ask what type of treatment I wanted for my pedicure. And asked other clients.!

First off I was told that my wait time was going to be 30 minutes I ended up waiting an 1hr and 15 minutes then when I was charged I noticed there was a fee on the receipt that said “up charge”When I called to find out what the charge was for I was given two different reasons but the final reason is what really got me I was told that it was for a topcoat base like really you’re supposed to get topcoat no matter what service you get whether if it’s a manicure or acrylic how are you going to charge an extra five dollars for topcoat I’ve never heard of such a thing the point is this they’re dishonest and they charge whatever they want as they go so you basically pay for service and then you pay separate charges you pay for the shape you pay for the length and then you pay for the topcoat lol so before you get any service done make sure you ask what you’re going to be paying. So you can’t just go in there and say you want a short set of nails because no matter what you’re going to be charge for the length and then you’re going to be charge for the shape it doesn’t matter what shape you get you’re going to pay a separate fee it is unbelievable yes I understand that if you get long nails you pay more money because of the product but I’ve asked numerous people that go there and they pay the same fee and yet they get their nails like 2 cm long which makes no sense so they charge you for the separate Charges no matter what you get it is the most craziest thing I’ve ever seen but it’s the fact that they lie... First and definitely last not to mention One of the tachs was saying she just picked up her brother from the hospital The day before and said he is Covid positive !!!! what the hell was she doing working a nail salon without quarantining !!!

This is my absolute favorite nail salon in Philadelphia!! Will never go anywhere else. The lady who owns it is so sweet and does an incredible job!

Cute place & they will get you in and out but it will look like a rushed job.

Nails always look great and never ever chips !! This nail salon is CONSISTENTLY good
