Ive ways been pleased with this place. However, last time I was in I noticed that I was charged for things Im not sure I even recieved, nor was I consulted on what services I was being charged for, no conversation at all. On Saturday thats when what broke the camels back occurred. My daughter who is young, ended up coming home fit to be tied. She was charged $85 for a pedicure, and a manicure with no acrilic, no tips, no bells and whistles. The price for a manicure used to be $25. The change in price is 85% higher! I saw very unprofessional things and heard them also. Racial slurs, unkind information given to me about other patrons. I have never seen her not take the money from these very same costumers. When my daughter and I tried to discuss the discrepancy, in what we were being charged, I was told that we could speak openly, in front of a room full of customers and that she would not stop what she was doing, for a second, to have this discussion privately. At that time, it was itemized to me how much individual services cost, none of which was consistent with the prices that were posted. It was commented to us that my daughter should have asked more questions instead of just reading the menu. We are a community that works very hard for our money, too hard to be jerked around, then taken advantage of, and disrespected. There are topics that shouldnt be discussed at all, especially not with a reoccurring patron. The entire situation, not to mention, different prior professional inappropriate interactions such as racial slurs shared as a joke that I found offensive, the ability to speak English and choose not to, and jerking patrons around and treating them as if they were dispensable. Theres a great little new place at Torresdale and Longshore(Dream Nails) that has you leaving feeling refreshed and happy, as well as pretty. We would rather give that new establishment an opportunity to have our close to $800 a month, than hand our money to an establishment that, in the end treated 5 people, who will not be returning like walking dollar signs. Yay to the new establishment!

Was a costumer for years before now. They recently upped their prices and didn’t say, couldn’t do nail art well. For a pedicure and French tip design with a little nail design that my sister wasn’t happy with (and only gel, no tips or acrylic) was $85. Not happy and not going again. I hope $80 was worth it because you managed to lose 4 repeat costumers.

I wish I could give this place a zero star... they were not very nice and after waiting a half hour which isnt bad a young man came over and started doing my nails. The older Male finished but he forgot a few steps. And tried to rush and get them done. I got them done on Friday night and not even 3 days later ( I got acrylic nails) on Monday evening ALL OF THEM came off. Def not worth $23. If you ever want your nails done dont go here. They are rude and when I complained about what happened the man got mad and refused to give me a refund and said it was my fault the nails broke off. He tried to give me a gel manicure while the woman kept staring at my feet telling me I needed more services... never again. How is a business going to blame the customer when it was their fault they didnt do the nails right.

Clean. Friendly. Got in within 10 min. Reasonable rates. Suggest you bring your own polish. There wasnt too much of a selection. Id go back.

After getting my nails painted. a worker came over to me touched an edge of one nail and asked me to pay her. my nails then got messed up, she then only paint over the nail not taking off the polish underneath! she came over to me again after 1 dry telling me theyre done. as i proceeded to walk out the door 3! got messed up. again instead of taking off the polish she dumped! polish that ran off my finger all over. she then took of the polish before. again redoing it she let me dry twice and told me it was dry, the store was no packed and no one was waiting!!! i wasnt loud or anything. do not go here, once i got home my nails was a mess!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My 2 friends and I went to get our nails done here and they were not busy AT ALL. We all started getting our nails done, bc they were 3 nail techs for each of us. Long story short, we were there for 4 HOURS!!!! I even had to file and start my own acrylics! That’s how long they took. My friend lost a gem within 15 minutes of walking out the salon. Don’t recommend. Waste of time.

I just called the nail salon to talk to the owner. after asking for the owner or manger five times the guy said what would you like to talk to him about? & where are you calling him from? so i told him i was just in there a few days ago & i started to explain to him what happened that my nails started to bleed, itch & blister up & what i got done & how a lady did my nails & the owner did my sisters nails & he goes yes i did your sisters nails. i was like oh, so obviously your the owner im speaking with? & hes like yes what would you like to get done? i was like i dont want anything done at your shop... i want my money back! he goes i cant give you your money back blah blah blah. i was like yes you can because i have pictures of my bleeding nails / fingers i have all the receipts for how much i spent to get the nails taken off elsewhere & recipes on how much the medication cost to keep putting on my fingers so i wouldnt cry in pain & he told me no i dont know what happened... i was like what happened was your lady who did my nails didnt clean her nail equipment before she did my nails after she used them for acrylic nails & she used the same water stuff & brush for my nails in the gel power... he told me yeah she gave you gel acrylic powder. i was like she gave me what?! why would she give me that when i stopped her from using the acrylic powder because i flat out & said im allergic to acrylic! hes like oh no, i gave her gel powder! i was like no you didnt so dont lie to me & he goes well we mix out gel & acrylic powder together & thats why its cheaper at our salon. i was like really?! well why didnt you tell me that before you put them on & when i said dont use acrylic or anything acrylic because im allergic as she is getting the acrylic powder on the brush. now he wants to refuse to give me my money back because i caught him in a lie? but he told me to go in to talk to him? thats bullshit that he flat out & lied over & over & that my hands are like this because they wanted to mix their stuff?! without telling customers what they are getting / paying for? so i ended up going there like he told me too. i was very polite because yelling or arguing with him wouldnt of gotten me anywhere. i showed him my nails & he refused to look at the pictures. he popped up from his chair & started to yell at me & he told me that she cleaned everything & used everything she was supposed too. i said no she didnt & i explained to him once again what happened. he told me that something else caused that so he wasnt going to give me my money back. i told him nothing caused that & the other salon that took it off agreed that it was a allergic reaction from the acrylic nails that she saw it happen before. he kept coming up with different lies about everything & said he wasnt going to give me my money back after he said he would on the phone he just had to see my hands / nails & he would. i asked him for his name & i took his business card because i knew i wasnt getting my money back but i was not going to deal with the way he was talking to me & i told him that so he told me no im not telling you my name for what? i told him so i can file a lawsuit against you. he then said no i call the cops no lawsuit & i said okay thats fine you can call the cops & i will go outside & call l&i that fast he put the phone down. said you can sue missy nails not me. i said no your the owner so i need your name & he said no. i asked for a licenses because it says all done by professionals & he said no. i left but i will be calling l&i first thing tomorrow morning before i go to work.he also own pink nails! beware! dont go to either shops!PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME ON FACEBOOK FOR PICTURES!
