IF you are a POC DONT GO HERE they dont know the vibes!!! I went to this place to get a fresh cut after growing my hair out for about a year. I showed the barber a picture of how I wanted my cut (blowout cut with 3 inches on top) and he immediately said he would not cut it like that because HE didnt think that would look good. So he refused to give me the original cut I wanted and I decided to try to ask for a simple low fade on the sides and back and length on top so I can style it and showed him a picture as well. He agreed to this one then proceeded to give me no fade at all and left me 1.5 inches on top. I could have gotten better at SuperCuts.

Old school barbershop vibe but with modern amenities. John always gives me a great and consistent cut. Appointments are easily made online and payment is easy and convenient. They run a tight ship when it comes to scheduling which I greatly appreciate. Highly recommended!

Good energy with better cuts. Everyone from all walks of life are welcome here, as all places should be, but this places makes it known. Ive been cut by Jay and Vince. Perfect everytime. I know each barber are as good as the next, so I can only state that when other customers are being cut by the other barber and are walking by, their cuts are also 10s.

Barbers are quick and professional. Price is good. I love that you need reservations to get a haircut. There is no waiting around for your turn.

Franklin’s is a excellent barbershop, with caring barbers who are professionals at their craft, but also great to chat with, in an inviting atmosphere. I love Franklins! It has a sweet old-fashioned feel and the guys are gentlemen and know their craft! I have been seeing Vincent, as my barber. He’s a master at his craft and really puts in the fine details and takes care of you. It’s definitely one of the best barber parlors of Philly! All the barbers are good dudes and take their time to make you look sharp!

I feel like my hair is normally really hard to work with but Shawn did a stellar job fixing something up for me. Super chill environment too. Ill for sure be back here

Started going here during the pandemic, and these guys give an incredible haircut at a great price. ($30 flat). Very attentive to safety protocols, with appointment only (so no lines), temp taking at door, hand sanitizer, cleaning everything between clients & masks required. Beyond that, the atmosphere is welcoming & fun, but not pretentious like some barbers try to be these days (no IPA’s, no leather couches... it’s all about great quality cuts). Hot towels, straight razors... I can’t stress enough how incredible this place is. Highly recommend to any guy looking for an expensive cut at an awesome price.

I love coming to this barbershop for several reasons. The first being it’s a friendly atmosphere for me and my 10 year old son. The conversations are hilarious as well. You’re greeted immediately as you walk in the door.The only thing I would suggest is either a sign in sheet or pulling a number for any of the barbers. This would eliminate the guessing game as to when you’re next in line.Other than that, this place is legit!

Im brand new to Philly, and I feel like I hit the jackpot with Franklins. Jay gave me an excellent cut, and I really enjoyed our conversation. Youll definitely need to make an appointment, but thats really easy to do on the website. Also, if you head over a few minutes early, you can sit back and enjoy a cold one while you wait. Overall a 5-star experience, and I will surely be back.

I just had my first haircut by Jay and he did a great job. I made an appointment online and was in my seat right on time. The shop has a traditional look that most barber shops dont have anymore, which has a nice eye appeal. i highly recommend stopping in, just make sure to book an appointment online as they dont do walk ins. I have been trying to find the barber for me for years now and its finally happened. Fishtown is full of barber shops and none of them compare to Franklins Barber Shop. Its so nice to finally be able to make an appointment online to make it work with my busy schedule. These guys are the epitome of what a good old fashioned barber should be. From the hot towel shave to the decor to the witty banter to the manual cash register; this is the real deal. I cannot say enough good things about the cut.Ive been a few times now and I no longer have to preface what were doing with the haircut. Tony and Vince remember me and what I want and nail the cut every time. This place and clean, nostalgic and most importantly, a killer haircut at a very reasonable price.

Finally, a real haircut. So many of the places these days look like a real barber shop, but they are staffed with sub-par hair cutters. Tony was as real barber. He was professional and, best of all, gave a fantastic haircut. When I walked through the door after my haircut, my wife said I looked sexy. Believe me, that is the first time I have ever heard her call me sexy ;-)

Anthony used to be my barber in Toronto. He was and still is the best barber Ive ever had...I havent been able to find another barber yet, that compares to his skill. If I could, I would drive from Canada to Pennsylvania just to get a haircut at Franklins.

Very nice guys, but very limited range of cuts. They do the buzz cuts real well but anything outside of that is a hit or miss, and a big miss in my case. Came with a photo of what I wanted and came out with the worst haircut Ive had and I cut my own hair for 8 years so thats saying a lot. I dont mean the worst because it didnt look like the picture, I mean the worst because the guy struggled a lot trying something outside the buzz cut so I ended up with wonky, inconsistent chops all over my head.If youre looking for anything outside the standard buzz cut, stay away.
