Yes, it workedYes, it hurtAnd Yes, it was expensiveLet me preface this by saying that Ive been going for treatments for a full year.Starting at the top- The sales woman was not super personable. She didnt at all listen to my concerns and just pitched, pitched, pitched, then pressured me into making a decision.Next, at every single appointment, the front desk woman did 👌🏻just enough👌🏻 to get the job done. Although she wasnt rude, she wasnt pleasant either.The only nice nurse that I had was Icely and I dont believe shes there anymore. The other nurses that I had were rude and did not even try making sure I was comfortable. I would try making conversation with them (to help get through the pain) and they were standoffish like my being there was an inconvenience. 👎🏻After more than half of my appointments, I couldnt take the pain, so I called to ask if it was possible to try numbing cream ( I was told very early on not to have anything on my skin) and if they had any recommendations for how I could use it safely. Not only WAS I allowed (why did no one tell me when I was WRITHING in pain?!); but they claimed that many of their patients use it yet they had NO recommendation for a safe one to use??Additionally, after over 9 months, was the first time that a nurse decided to mention that I should be exfoliating in between appointments... Seems like important info that could have cut back on both of our time but 🤷🏼‍♀️ guess they couldnt be bothered to share that.Aside from all of this scheduling was a NIGHTMARE and they had 0 flexibility.The only good thing is that ~most~ of my hair is gone and its guaranteed for life so if it comes back, I can set up an appointment.

Milan is a place of consummate professionals, and the treatment process has been unreal. Everyone has been very sweet and supportive, so as a trans woman I could not recommend them more! Plans are nice and affordable as well.

I started my laser treatments in October at Milan Harrisburg location. Started with a full face and leg package. Tammy, the office Manager applied a deep discount for a friend and I, and offered us an awesome quote, so I decided to go for full body package, since I had such an incredible response to my treatments. I can honestly say, I Have not had to shave but once or twice since I’ve started and it was a very light shave in little areas. I have to say Jenna hands down is amazing! I literally look forward to my treatments with her because she is incredible! I’m moderately into my treatment plan and pain levels are a little higher due to the advance in higher frequency, but honestly Jenna makes it a breeze. I had a really good experience with Milan! The staff is nice and cordial when dealing with me and the process was quick and easy. I was able to walk in, set up my plan, and get started all within 30 of walking through the door. Now, there are a few cons. The first con was the consultant, she did try to push more areas on me and that was kind of annoying. The pain is not unbearable, but it can hurt a little. Lastly, if you do decide to get the treatment, be prepared for the smell. Other than that, the process is quick and easy. I definitely recommend.

I have been going to Milan laser hair removal since April of 2021. I have found all of the staff to be incredibly polite, very nice and fairly personable considering it feels like theyre snapping elastics at you! :) I am very happy with the treatment that I am having done and I am getting lots of results which is great! The biggest drawback to laser hair removal is of course cost. Anyone who has this done must realize that. Do your research. If you spend 40 years of your life shaving your legs laser hair removal is simply going to save you money in the Long haul and cause you way less razor cuts or Burns which is a great thing. All of the nurses/technicians that I have worked with have been easily enticed into conversation. They have been very kind. And they even pause when I need a brief break.I would recommend Milan laser hair removal to friends and family and I have. People think Im a little nuts for going in and dealing with a little bit of pain up front but I like to remind myself that Ive given birth and this is not anywhere near as bad! Haha little bit of short-term pain for long-term gain, no pain no gain!I would wait for a 60% off sale and they do have them often enough that its not like you have to wait a full year before one rolls around again. You can also finance and from what I remember it was 0% financing which is perfect. No need to outlay all your money up front if you dont want to. But you do get a 5% discount on top of any other discounts you may have taken advantage of if you pay off the amount up front. I do agree with other mentions that the sales lady is pushy. However I would like to point out that her job is to be a sales lady! She is literally doing her job. If she didnt do this sure scheduling might be easier but generally speaking shes actually really nice! You get the same treatment if you try to cancel your Sirius XM! Seriously, try cancelling with them! They will low ball you three times to get you to stay! Its called SALES. Its a tough business to be in.My personality is generally to go with the flow. I am blessed to be able to have a wide open schedule and I can take almost any appointment time out there. Other people do not have this luxury and I understand that. But I think that Milan laser hair removal also understands this too and does the best they can.

The team here are great! I first started with face, but then I went full body because the deal is just too great. You get unlimited treatments for life, what’s better than that? The results will obviously vary. I’m Mediterranean by background so I of course have stubborn hair, but we were able to reduce a lot if not remove most. It’s been great not having to shave!Thanks to Stacy for being so patient and making me feel comfortable every time I get treatments!

I love Sonia at the front desk. Shes very relatable and inviting. She genuinely greets people and is easy to converse with.I had a really bad experience with one of the laser technicians. She burned my face and had no mercy through the entire session. I dont know if her problem was that I was late that day or because I have dark skin. We chocolate people burn too! She has since been removed from this location or possibly the entire company. The doctors instructed me to simply clean the burned areas and apply vaseline. I applied aloe and cocoa butter so that there would not be any scarring as well. I took about a year long break from Milan. Im learning to trust Milan again because the hair on my face is out of control and I already paid for a lifetime worth of treatments.Stacie has been a pretty good laser technician so far. She always reminds me that I can take breaks and answers my questions. Perhaps when Im finally free of the painful laser and free from hair on my face, I will give 5 stars.

Totally disappointed. I have wanted laser hair removal since I was 14. Now that I am 18 I could finally get laser hair removal on my own. My consultation was horrible. I was not offered to sit down and discuss my questions. I was brushed aside and forced to ask my private questions in the public lobby. The first thing I was asked is “who will be paying for this” because it was said on my form that I was a student. Completely unprofessional in my personal opinion. The person who showed me around also asked me if I wanted to wait for someone to come and then we could got over the presentation. My consultation was supposed to be an hour, but I was in and out (with paperwork) within 10-15 minutes. Really wanted to love this place, but I felt as if I was not going to be a valued customer. Maybe if you are old you will be valued; however, if you are similar to my age do not waste your time going... more professional places in the area.Update: I recently talked with someone at the company... I still stand by what I said before about younger clients. Other than that, you might be lucky and have a nice experience. Just make sure you feel comfortable!

Had my first appointment for laser hair removal. Not as painful as I expected. Facility is clean & bright. The nurse answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.

Best decision I have ever made! I’m 4 treatments in and already no longer have to shave certain areas. Cycle hair growth is so slow and hair grows back so fine that what little hair remains in treated areas only requires a quick pass with the razor before my appointment. I absolutely recommend, I have pcos which causes a hormone imbalance and unwanted facial hair which was causing a huge issue with my self confidence, went for a consultation and everyone was super nice, helpful, and made me feel welcome, my first treatment was fantastic, and wasnt unbearable, when my hair hit the falling out stage it was absolutely amazing, even when it grew back right before my second treatment it wasnt nearly as bad and I still barely had to shave. And Milan did not fail, I received my first treatment and it was quick easy and has already stunted the growth of my underarm hairs.
