Honestly, this is the best gym I’ve been to. The staff is very nice, professional, and very knowledgeable about the body and how hard to push it. The classes are very engaging and feel painfully good. This ain’t for the weak !

This is by far the most ghetto LA fitness. The Zumba instructor with the dread locks literally assaulted me stepping on my hand while I was simply trying to get one exercise mat that my fitness instructor told me to get so that we can begin our workout. Stepping on the mat each time I tried to grab one like a big bully. She was so enraged over me getting one mat. And then trying to get her name to file charges and the staff not give me her full name. Terrible service and old gym machines is what you’re pay $60 a month for. I’ll pass.Thank god I was only a guest 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Great social distance measures! Clean facilities ans they even provide portable spray bottles full of sanitizer to easily wipe off equipment.

Been a member for years. Really disappointed with service. I showed up at 9:45 and the gym had the doors locked. The people at the front desk said they already turned the computers off for the day and were not letting anyone else in. I could of easily got 15 minutes of cardio in and been a happy camper. Ill probably cancel my membership after today.

It’s very clean, machines are not the newest but dumbbells are not all over the place like in other locations. Plus plenty of parking

What a great experience I had my first week of working out. Weight area is nice and tidy, easy to navigate the equipment. The Operation Manager Adolfo has been extremely helpful whenever Ive asked any questions. Shout out to Susan for my first Personal training session!

Been coming to this location for almost 20 years. It is smaller than the others and very compartmentalized. You cant stand at the front and see the entire gym. But that makes it feel more like a private gym. Being its smaller they dont have as many stair climbers and bench presses as other LA fitness gyms so when any is out of service its rough. Its generally clean and well managed. The staff is friendly. If you prefer a larger facility this may not be for you. But for me it is great.

In professionalism and management doesnt care, there are other option then to join this gym.

This LA Fitness is awesome. They always keep it nice and clean. All the weights are always picked up so it’s easy to find equipment needed. The Staff is super friendly specially the front check in. Paul and Adolfo are super friendly and always make me feel welcomed. I Will continue to come here...

What a freaking wreck! This gym just doesnt care and the people in it just dont care!! Dont believe all the good reviews. They must be from staff and friends. I understand the staff must be frustrated and tired of picking up after these lazy ass members, but at 7:30 in the morning there really is no excuse. Someone should be enforcing the re-rack your own weights rule! If the members dont want to do it, they dont need to be a member. Theyre probably losing more business than that members worth.

I was there on a guest pass. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I was concerned about going to a gym due to COVID-19 however this gym was the cleanest I have seen! There were plenty of sanitizing stations and a number of employees hard at work ensuring the safety of myself and the other people working out. Would highly recommend this gym to anyone! Very clean and safe environment.

Adolfo was really helpful, professional and very patient with me. He listened and answered all my questions and concerns. The gym is SUPER CLEAN and Sanitized Regularly.I have been to a few other locations but i can say this has been the only one i feel is the most Friendly of staff and theres always parking as well and never too crowded at all.They check your temperature and follow all guidelines to making sure we all feel safe..

I went in with a friend for a guess pass and the service was very professional. I explained all my concerns i had with the virus going around and the manager assured me of the cleanliness of the gym as well as showed me all the guidelines and regulations that are followed throughout the facility. Everything was well in order and made me feel very comfortable. They are very on top of the new rules and regulations set up during the virus to protect all the members which definitely helped me in my decision to sign up.

I really like this LA Fitness, friendly, helpful staff. It is new, modern and kept very clean. I took the Body Works Plus Abs class today (Tuesday) with Joseph and he was a breath of fresh air, most enjoyable class Ive done in awhile.

The dumbbell section is a mess all the time. You can not workout because the dumbbells are no where to be found. The machines for most of the times are not working, or they need maintenance. It was way better before.

I love coming to this LA Fitness!I live in Doral and I make my way to this location because of the people who work here! I love coming in and being greeted with such warmth. Adolfo is the best, I thank him all the time for pushing me to come all the way here.I recommend 100%!

Open till 12am. Nicely renovaged and new machines. Upstairs cardio area. They should replace some of the cardio equiment and squash courts with more resistance machines, all those bikes and weird ellipticals go unused. Had different machines from other LA locations. Machines are not too crowded but the weight area always is! 3 squat machines but there is always competition for them. Few leg variety machines but good ab machines in weight area. Stretching area kinda small. They need to expand!

Most of the machines are always taped off and most of the other machines are all rusted. I dont like the lay out of the gym.

This location is one of the best locations in fort lauderdale starting with management. Adolfo is always greeting me when I come in asking me how my day was. I feel like family when I come here. Second reason is the best because there always clean and sanitize.

Been to a couple different LA fitness gyms throughout Florida and this one I’ll consider a hidden gem!Very professional, knowledgeable staff, covid precautions and the best part is do to its location plenty of access to equipment during the busy hours.P.S: They give out water bottles if you just ask🤫

The manager Adolfo is one of a kind. His professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to help his patrons feel comfortable while at the gym with all this scare of COVID-19 going around. Also, a very friendly atmosphere to be in. All in all. If I can give more than 5 stars I would.

It’s alright, I wish they had more cardio equipment but it’s straight. The evening it gets pretty busy best time to go is early morning or midday.

It is a pleasure to come and workout here. I have been coming to this location for a while and never have had an issue. I have also been to plenty of LAF throughout Florida and this is constantly the one I love going to the best. Staff is knowledgeable and always trying to help.

I lost my car keys from my pocket the other day and the staff and manager, Adolfo, helped find them for me. And I appreciate their determination and professionalism. Very well kept place. Will recommend.

Omg the greatest atmosphere and even better trainers, Derrick is an amazing trainer, understanding that I’m just getting back to the gym and slowly incorporating more different activities that are fun . I recently came into the gym to think about coming to rejoin as a member, but I was worried about COVID 19. When the manager Paul showed me around, I was delighted to see how much of an effort they are putting towards keeping things clean. In times like this I’m happy to have a gym that really cares about it’s members well being. If COVID is stopping you from joining, don’t let it!

I havent been to the gym since March due to Covid19. I was scared of getting sick, but today when I went I felt safe and believe the gym is taking the proper precautionary measures to keep their members safe. You stand in a line 6ft apart prior to entering, you have to wear a mask, your temperature is checked, you scan your own membership card, and you are given a sanitation bottle to spray down the machines. In addition there is a lady that walks throughout the gym and wipes down the machines and the machines are moved away from each other to keep distance. With all that being said I will be back.

A family friend suggested this gym, saying its a safe and clean place to go workout.

In times of covid-19 this gym is doing a good job! the cleaning staff is complying with all protocols and doing their best trying to keep us safe.

I went in to inquire about the gym since my brother told me that it had recently been renovated. So I did. I walked in and the greeter acknowledged my daughter and I 5 minutes of just standing in front of the counter. I told him that I will like a tour and information of the different options they have to offer. He said okay went on the phone hung up the phone and said that another employee will be with us in literally 2 minutes. My daughter and I waited for 10 minutes and no-one came so I just left. If Im paying for a gym then I expect the customer service to be better than my first impression. My daughter and I ended up going to planet fitness because upon arrival they were very attentive of our needs. LA has to step it up with their customer service skills.

Been a member for sometime now. Made it through a downpour to the gym & realized I left my water bottle at home. Bummer. Tyler at the front desk informed me his manager Paul would be back soon w/some water bottles. I asked if I could purchase some & he said they were free. Recently I had a customer service issue related to my local gym (In Pennsylvania). I was told that I would have to call the corp office and that someone there would be able to assist me. I expected that they were giving me the run-around, and my issue would not be resolvable. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I connected to the Operation Manager, Adolfo Villanueva at LA Fitness located at 350 N University Drive Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. Not only was Mr. Villanueva courteous and attentive, but surprisingly he was able to resolve my issue quickly and efficiently. Mr. Villanueva clearly explained what could and could not be done, and obviously knew how to perform his job effectively, which prompted me to reach out and commend him and let the company know about his outstanding performance (because a team is only as good as its leader) at LA Fitness located at 350 N University Drive. I know that people usually only reach out to complain, and I feel that good work often goes unrewarded. Please know that the leader(s) and team/staff members at this LA Fitness are doing excellent work, and I commend/thank you for your help.

First time at the gym was really scared of working out due to the COVID-19 I got a guest pass from a sales rep name Alex. First time show me around made me feel comfortable made me realize that LA fitness gyms are well organized and well sanitized. Really considering enrolling and bringing my family members along to this gym.

I am extremely happy with how professional and CLEAN this gym is!!! After the lockdown I was very skeptical about going back with the whole COVID thing but I am beyond thankful to the operations manager Adolfo for keeping this gym up to standards and making sure there are safety sanitary stations for our use. Thanks to him and his teams support this gym has exceeded in taking precautionary measures that have been put in place so that guest like myself can still feel like we have a normal life and feel safe going to the gym everyday. Today was my first day back to the gym after this whole COVID19 pandemic situation. I was a bit nervous at first to go back, but the Staff made sure everything was organized in a safe manner.When I first arrived I was told on the procedures of keeping social distancing as well as mask covering. I was given my own sanitizing bottle. In addition we were only allowed to use every other machine to maintain social distancing. I can say this La.fitness has gone over and beyond to make sure the community is safe. Thank you guys!

The LA Fitness in Naples Florida on Golden Gate Road is the worst gym in the entire chain of LA Fitness no air condition for 3 weeks the equipment is two generations old compared to any other LA Fitness Ive been in and the people are just tell you they rent the building so theyre not fixing anything tried calling LA Corporate Office left messages no phone calls were returned LA Fitness in Naples Florida on Golden Gate Road is the worst gym in the entire chain of LA Fitness no air conditioner for 3 weeks the equipment is two generations old compared to any other LA Fitness Ive been in and the people who work in the gym tell you that the building is lease and theyre not putting any money into it. I’ve been coming to this gym for almost 3 years. Great staff. It’s definitely time for a renovation which they say is coming soon. I can’t wait for that to happen. The one problem I have is when your coming and going and trying to cross to get to the gym the cars don’t stop🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ Even when there’s clearly stop 🛑 signs there for them to stop. They just drive like the stop signs don’t even exist. I feel like the gym staff need to in force that by talking to the police department and let them know what is going on. That’s a serious matter and as a fellow gym member I feel as this is very important to me. I don’t want to get hit when crossing to get to and from the gym. Thank you please change that ASAP.

No one ever puts the weights back, things are often disorganized and staff never does anything about it.

Back at my new gym for the second time after COVID-19 and they really need to spread more of the regular machines out versus the cardio machines. Waited for like 30 minutes for one machine and realized it was the only leg extension machine available in the whole building other than that for in and out in 45 minutes.

I suggest you to think twice when signing a contract with this people. I recently canceled my membership and they charged me the annual fee and the monthly payments. I spoke to the manager and he refused to refund the payments because I scanned my membership at the entrance to meet him and just left after the conversation, so I didn’t do any work out, and he said I was still using my membership. I called the costumer service and they never answered. It’s a shame.

Top ranked, elite gym for those who are serious about physical exercise. Various sections for multiple physical activities: pool, sauna, racketball course, basketball course, bikers court. The most diverse gathering of different exercise equipment I have ever seen. All machines in good working condition. Trained, qualified personnel. Personal trainer Andres is a true asset to the Fitness Program. It is the perfect place for physical exercise, and training.

Good gym has most of the equipment required for your workouts. Wish the service on the equipment would be quicker the cable row was down for about 5 months. All equipment is good condition though.

This LA Fitness location is one of the oldest in South Florida, but also consistently upgrades. I have been a member for over ten years and look forward to the a clean and comfortable space to work out in. It does get crowded at peak times, and guys do have some weird rituals in the locker room but outside of that its a pretty good gym. Classes are good, basketball and racquet ball courts are decent. Machine are as expected, but overall a 4 star facility by my standards.

Gym was recently renovated. Not sure what it looked like before as it was my first there but, overall, the equipment is good, gym is clean, staff are nice. Only complaint I have is the upstairs area is so close to the lights that it is so hot it feels like a sauna. So, unless youre trying to break a hard sweat, I wouldnt go upstairs. You basically can touch the light if your on the treadmill, thats how close it is.

The gym is well maintained and super friendly staff. Gym members there are usually always friendly. And its not over crowded.

I can always go to this gym in particular for a great workout, the staff is wonderful especially the girl that works the front desk, she is always helpful, knowledgeable, kind and sweet.
