I found Jacobs Garage after trying to find a good but fair Auto Service center. Jacobs is great on both servicing and pricing. I would recommend anyone to use them if your being quoted a high price from Firestone or other like as Garages for car services. Example my Alternator was failing I was being quoted from 4 garages between 600-1,000 dollars for Alternator replacement and belts, Jacobs priced me at 395.00 for Alternator and 75.00 for belts. Jacobs got me an appointment for the next day and was done, and my vehicle was test drove to make sure that the repair was completed.

I’ve been taking my cars to Jacob’s garage since I moved to Pines in 2013. They’re the only trustworthy garage I’ve ever dealt with in my 39yrs of life that I didn’t work at. Unfortunately my back doesn’t allow me to do most of my own work anymore. They are fair and will do whatever they can to help people out. Show up as early as possible to get in line!

Jacob garage is awesome! Best service in south Florida. My Engine light came on and they check it for free without charging me, and recap my gas tank. My Hyundai dealer wanted to charge me $125 just to get it checked. These guys are honest and straight forward. i will always take my car back to them.

Went over on a Saturday to have AC problem checked. Waited 30 minutes and appeared no one was going to be available for a quick diagnostic check so I left. Went out and purchased gauges to check myself and called them back with the readings and basically was told to bring it in. I just wanted a ball park price on the cost of replacing a expansion valve which appeared to possibly may be the problem . They were not very helpful but said they would call me back after checking vehicle info. Never heard back. Starting to think they dont want to work with someone that knows car systems. Wont be going back.

I bought an used car and as soon as I got it I went to get a full check out of the car. I went there to get oil change, full check-up and brakes. After a long and detail check up they told me I didnt need an oil change or brakes, just a new pair of wipers. They are the most honest mechanics Ive ever been to. Totally recommended and trusted

Good guys, my 3 years maintenance with the honda dealer is over, so had to find a mechanic. Searched google, saw the good reviews and went there for a 60k tune up. Normally we do not go out of our way to write a review of any sort, but felt this was warranted. Last week the AC in my 2010 Honda Civic with 50,000 miles started smelling funny and giving off white fog, it was not as cold, something was clearly wrong. We took it to the Rick Case Honda where we bought the car and have had it serviced from day one. The dealer charged $150 for the time and rental; within a few hours they called and said the AC evaporator and expansion valve needed to be replaced $1100. This seemed outrageous to me that these parts would give out on this vehicle, so I picked it up same day.I then went to a local shop that came highly recommended for their honesty, Jacob’s Garage. Within a few hours Tom told me they could find absolutely nothing wrong with the AC, nothing at all, everything checked out perfect. What they diagnosed as the root cause of the problem, was the radiator and possibly thermostat, this again seemed odd to me. But, they explained to allow them to replace the radiator and thermostat and if that did not fix the problem, there would be NO CHARGE! I agreed, next day I took the car in, they replaced the radiator and thermostat, all totaled about $540…and sure enough, problem solved!The guys at Jacob’s told me this was the second time they have seen this where the radiator starts to become clogged and the flow impacts the AC, and eventually as it becomes more clogged the vehicle will overheat. Needless to say Honda will never see another $1.00 from me. It is very disappointing; I can only imagine how many other senseless and pointless service charges they have stuck me with over the years?! Thankfully, that $150 will be the last they see from me, hope it was worth it! Best of all, I have a mechanic now that I feel will take care of us!

I found this garage on the quest to find an Honest Shop. Surprisingly I found it. These guys are surrounded by big brand shops yet they are still around after 30 years of business. That pretty much should tell you how great they are. These guys are fair, and treat you right. When I was there I met two people that have been going there since the 80s, and wont go anywhere else. They think outside the box and find the problem and fix it, they dont look at you as a payday. They know that if they do people right because they want you you as a customer fr life. I am and Ive already referred two people to the shop and its only been 2 weeks since they fixed my car.

They were informative, reasonable with their prices and fast with their service. Will be coming here again for my tires in the future.

Was tired of the scam artists and/or incompetent mechanics in my area (Pem Pines - west of I75), so I came upon this garage as part of a web search. They had been in business (family owned) for 30 years and had good ratings... and Im glad I gave them a shot. They serviced my Toyota Sequoia - front brakes and an oil change. Results = Friendly customer service (had a great conversation with one of the owners, Zvi), the price was good, and the service was quick. Sure glad I took a chance on this shop. Now my Toyota of 130k miles is back on the road serving me well. Recommend you give them a shot, as its hard to get good customer service down here in Southern Florida. Thanks guys, Jason L.

These guys deserve your business! It is hard to find a good trustworthy mechanic, especially in Miami, but these guys are the real deal. I have been going to jacobs for over 5 years and recommend them to anyone who asks. They only charge you for work that they do. They have let me go several times after finding everything is ok with no charge. They do not force charge for extra parts and they listen to their customers. I could go on but the bottom line is these guys are the real deal. Sve and his brother and mom are friendly honest people.

My car makes an audible clicking noise when braking lightly, i took it to Honda and Japtech. both places heard the noise but could not find the problem. the pads and rotors have less than 5000 miles on them. i read about Jacobs Garage online and decided to give them a try. after test driving my car and removing the rear wheels the manager tells me the rear calipers are locking up and need to be replaced along with the rear pads. i said OK but what is making the noise ? he says the calipers. i told him a sticking caliper does not make a clicking noise and the pads are almost new.he got all upset and told the mechanic to put the wheels back on and told me to leave. i asked him to explain how the caliper is making noise but he refused.these guys are thieves and crooks and should not be trusted, not to mention the mechanic looked like a homeless bum (literally)

Sunday afternoon suddendly a service engine soon light appeared on my car.so the day after i took my car jacobs garage. He took care of my car for about 20 minutes and when he returned he explained that it was nothing serious at all and that just one cap was a little loose and he added some oil. I asked how much i owed him but he said that i didnt owed him anything because he said it was nothing serious so he didnt think it would have been fair for me to pay. Since i dont know anything about cars he could have told me whatever but he decided to be super nice and honest.i would definitely return there and i suggest everyone to check Jacobs garage out.
