Another up charging mechanic shop. Made a lousy first impression. Yes they can fix some stuff, but will try and convince you to get extra services your car doesn’t need. They also could not install a front brake kit specifically made for my car. Kept saying it was wrong, and they could order me the right stuff. They also over charged on how long they said they worked on my car, by at least 3 hours, at $90 and hour. Save your money and find a better place.

Shade Tree Services. I payed this shop to remove and replace two of my rear u-joints. Not only was my driveshaft damaged during the attempted repair, one of the replaced u-joints cracked a few months after the repair due to improper installation. After bringing it to their attention, the owner of this shop bold faced lied to me stating he only replaced a single rear u-joint, even when their own copy of the invoice clearly stated multiple u-joints were replaced. If you want someone to grease you up and get you out the door with ZERO sense of standing by their word this is the place for you. If you want quality drive line service I recommend going to C&T Driveshaft in Houston.

Best customer service in town and my oil change only took about 30 minutes. Everywhere else I have gone it takes 1-2 hours so I was super happy they got me in and out so fast. 5 stars all the way!

I went to Cruz N Carz for the first time for an oil leak, and they were HONEST that an $8 plug was all that needed to be replaced. Honesty is priceless, especially when it comes to car repairs. My experience with Cruz N Carz was great from beginning to end. They scheduled my services and kept me informed through text messaging the whole time they had my vehicle. The staff was friendly and respectful and I felt like I wasnt just another customer. They even sent me pictures of the parts they took out of my vehicle and labeled them so that I knew what I was looking at. I will be bringing my vehicle back here.I had shaking on acceleration and deceleration when I brought it to their shop and they identified the problem and a cracked belt and made all repairs and my car now drives so smooth! Im grateful to have it back in the shape it deserves to be in. Thank you!

Ricky and Lisa are the best. They treat you like family, even though it was my first time to come there on a last minute whim. They were still able to fit me in the schedule. The cutest doggos roam around the shop to come give you kisses. I will be back for any car issues I have and I will refer my friends and family. Rick and Lisa are honest individuals and I’m lucky I stumbled upon them!

07/30/2018 - Once again, I am very happy with the service we received. My son was driving his truck and heard a popping noise. I told him to take it to Ricky at Cruz N Carz. Ricky test drove his truck and the passenger wheel was about to fall off because the wheel bearing was broke. He said that the driver side wasnt as bad but also needed to be replaced. I appreciate Ricky working with my single mom budget! Thank you Ricky, Lisa and the guys at the shop!09/09/17 - We received an estimate from Firestone for $680 needed on a car. I called Ricky at Cruz N Carz and he said to bring the car in and he was sure he could beat the estimate from Firestone. Oh, he beat it alright! The repairs were about a 1/3 of the cost! I am so happy with Rickys customer service and will definitely be back in the future with any needs I have. Thank you Ricky!

This is a very nice family run business with reasonable prices and honest mechanics- highly recommend.

I had a big job for Cruz and Cars to take on and they did it well. I got my vehicle back within the time frame they estimated. Their work was guaranteed for 30 days and they gave me no issues when I did have to return within that time frame. They gave me a fair deal and I was genuinely satisfied with the service.

They went above and beyond. Its not often that you find a mechanic that will give it to you straight, not try to up sell, or nickle and dime you. Ricky communicated everything well and let me know what would be the best recommendation given the age of my car. Pricing was reasonable and very competitive. If discerned him to be honest and very knowledgeable. His explanation of the services was understandable in laymans language. My car is running great!

I was having A/C issues and took my truck to the Ford dealership, they quoted me $1,760.77My brother referred me to Cruz N Carz and they were very nice and honest. They fixed my truck in a reasonable time and charged me $335.00I am now a loyal customer to Cruz N Carz.

These guys were awesome!! Very knowledgeable about classic cars. Took my 71 Olds Delta 88 convertible to them to make sure it was road worthy for a cruise. Went here some months ago to get my air conditioning fixed- Ricky and his crew did an excellent job! They identified the problem with my condenser very quickly and I was able to get my car back in a timely manner, and its been perfect ever sense.

Also, my vehicle had a seperate issue that my dealership quoted me $3,000. These guys gave me a second opinion at 1/3 of the cost the dealership quoted me. Rick knows my busy schedule and has always made an effort to do everything he can to make sure I have me vehicle back as soon as possible...Even when he struggled fixing my problematic power steering (which seemed impossible to fix) he worked extra hard to get it right! I just left their shop and was told “Good. We don’t want your business.” I had an awesome experience with them just a few months ago when I needed to have my a/c condenser replaced on my wife’s odyssey. So when I needed and oil change and 4 wheel alignment I went back to Cruz N Cars at their new location. I scheduled an 8:30 appointment and dropped it off on time. I didn’t get the car back until 3:30 and I had to call for updates. I get in the car to drive away and the alignment is worse. The steering wheel is now pointing left to go straight and the van pulls (not drifts) to the right worse than before I dropped it off. I did not receive an alignment sheet or invoice at pick up but was told it would be emailed. It never was. So I called back to get it fixed and explained that I bought new tires and wanted this corrected quickly so my wife could keep moving with errands and school activities. We figure out that a week later is the only way to get it done because he wants me to drop it off and leave it but I can’t since I’m out of town and we need the car seats in the van for our two toddlers and two teenagers to be able to get anywhere. If you deliver a car in worse shape then when you got it wouldn’t you fix it right away even if it is an inconvenience to you? It sure was an inconvenience to my wife for a week to drive the van as bad as the alignment was! But he could not. So a week later I call in and drop it off in the morning. He calls me an hour later and tells me “the guy who did your alignment isn’t here so I had another guy check it and you need adjustable camber bolts to get it right. It’s gonna cost $95.” I tell him I’m not happy about it but let’s do it because I want it right. He says he doesn’t understand why I’m unhappy because either way I would have had to buy the bolts. I paid you for a service you promised to provide but you failed to get it right the first time. His answer was “we all make mistakes.” Look, I get not wanting to eat a bill for parts I needed anyway. So I said to him that the customer service experience of being hit with another repair bill because you got it badly wrong the first time is upsetting to me. If you made the alignment worse, not better, and then charge me more money of course I’m going to be upset! So I okay the charge, ask for an alignment print out to see the before and after, and pick it up and hour later. I get an email of a picture they took with their phone of the final alignment because the printer isn’t hooked up. Still never got a before and after from the FIRST alignment! Ricky the owner isn’t there to deliver the car. Nobody is there to explain the repair to me. The receptionist hands me the bill. I pay it. I take the van out to see how it drives. Steering wheel is off to the right a little bit and the van still pulls (not drifts) to the right while coasting on as flat a road as I could find. It’s better than before. But I wanted to be sure it was right. So I go back and ask to speak to the technician who did the alignment and test drive to explain what he saw and what I saw. This time I get Ricky. He didn’t do the test drive. I tell my concerns and let him know the tires are brand new. He tells me the alignment is within spec. I agree with him but want to know if he will ride with me and see what I’m saying. He tells me I might need to rotate the tires. I tell him they’re brand new and he tells me they might be flat from sitting. The van hasn’t sat even after they never did he alignment right the first time! I tell him that doesn’t make sense to me and I’m having a hard time believing him. He asks me why. I tell him because of what happened the first time I dropped it off. He tells me that they fixed it. So I said, “ now I’ve got to spend more money to get it right?! I’m not coming back here anymore.” He said, “Good. We don’t want your business!” I hope others will bring their business elsewhere too. The customer service experience was awful and I wouldn’t want that for anyone else.
