Must wear a mask. I came in with a very simple request, mail a letter to Germany. I was told to wait while he finished a couple of tasks. There was 1 person doing a self service Amazon return. He came around to help her finish when another person came in with a return. He helped that person before me and badgered him for a donation to help pay for tape. I thought he may finally help me but he headed to the back. I picked up my shipping info and left. Worst customer service in the coast.
I own a gallery and have over the years brought in many items that are strangely shaped, fragile or difficult to package. Margaret and Lane are always friendly and professional. They package up these difficult items and send them on their way with far less hassle and drama than if I had tried to do it myself. In short, their services are trouble free, always friendly and I dont mind whatever small amount they charge. They put a LOT of thought and energy into their packaging and I would never consider doing it myself or going elsewhere.

UPD: I was not the first one who started yelling, it was the owner when she just heard my name on the phone. And today Shipping Solution put a condition when I called again asking for any information about our package: they told me they are not going to even try to help resolve the issue until I remove this review. I my view its a total blackmail. Business need to EARN good reviews and work with bad ones to resolve complains and not yelling and pressing your customers. Ive been working in customer service for over 15 years and I know what I am talking about. Yes, I asked if our tablet was stolen when the owner blamed USPS mail service for not returning it as tracking system says. That was an obvious question with no blaming anyone in particular. Very upset this kind of customers treatment still exists in USA and no way they deserve good reviews. Just listen to your customers, say you are sorry and be respectful (we didnt received our $400 tablet and deserve also sympathy beyond good customer service). And for this intimidation, yelling at me and poor treatment I paid money 😢 not even mentioning again I didnt get my parcel that was INSURED.Do not do business with them: owner is very rude and unprofessional. She started yelling at me the second she picked up the phone! They loose packages and dont want to talk to you about it or pay insurance money (the package was insured). Filing claim to Better Business Bureau.
I came to Newport on vacation and did a little too much antiquing and art gallery shopping. I had to mail multiple fragile items home. They recommended a custom box which meant I had to just leave everything with the person in charge and a credit card number. That’s a little scary these days. I am very happy to report it went great. The packing was impeccable and the price reasonably fair. Most importantly, my vacation momentos arrived safe and sound. Thank you shipping solutions for being such a trustworthy business.
I have always had the BEST experience at Shipping Solutions. The staff is friendly, the prices are good and you can count on your package getting there as expected. Staples came and went but Shipping Solutions has been part of our community for many, many years. I like to support local businesses, especially great ones like Shipping Solutions.

Upd. I tried to call them (after business owner refused to give my wife any information regarding lost package) and just get the tracking number so I could figure out where is our package now. But the owner simply blacklisted our area code.They lost our package and talk to my wife like we are to blame for the lost package (there was a tablet for over $400). The worst customer service I have ever met, very rude and unprofessional. Dont even let me say a word and just not picking up the phone anymore!! Just unbelievable!! Dont trust your shipping to this rude unprofessional service.
This quiet shop will ship UPS, FedEx, print out shipping labels for nominal fee, and is generally open when its counterparts are closed. Ample parking between Safeway & Rite Aid in north Newport is a plus. The owner is pleasant, helpful & no-nonsense. Shipping Solutions is my go-to shop for shipping, returns, etc.
I have used this place for years now. The $1 charge for shipping on top of the prepaid label surprised me at first, but I understand the costs of doing business and I do not begrudge them the charge. These are good people and they offer good quality service. One expects to pay for good service.
Dropped off a prelabled package for UPS to pick up, the employee was very friendly and helpful and saved us some money with his package suggestions....

I really dont like this business. They charge a fee to drop off prepaid returns despite that being against UPS policy. The owner is a rather unpleasant man. Be warned that there are a few small dogs that are kept behind the counter that may very well scare the cr@p out of you when you set your package down. The woman employee seemed to think that was very funny when it happened to me.I wish there were another UPS authorised shipping center in Newport, but since Staples left, this place is it. I use the UPS drop boxes when I can, but sadly some of my packages are too bulky to fit in them.Ill only use this place when I absolutely have to, and I certainly wont give them any business that I dont have too. Pretty foolish to charge customers unfairly to the point of driving them away.As for the owners response to my review, UPS policy prohibits an Authorised Shipping outlet such as yours for charging for prepaid returns. While its true that you have to pay a small weekly pickup fee, youre also given a small amount of money from UPS for every prepaid package thats dropped off to you. Ill repeat myself in case you didnt get it already: UPS policy prohibits you from charging customers for prepaid returns. Ive included screenshots of the relevant policy from the UPS website. Ive also spoken to UPS and theyve confirmed to me that you shouldnt be charging customers for prepaid returns. If you dont like the UPS rules, maybe you should stop being an Authorized UPS Shipping Outlet.

They accused my friend of stealing a laptop, posted her as a culprit of the theft on facebook, as well as did NOT remove her from the post when the laptop was returned by the actual theif. They should be charged with harassment as well as defamation of character for not removing her from the post, or correcting their mistake on social media. I would NOT reccomend this business for their slander towards locals, and the lack of handling legal matters professionally.
As a longtime resident of Depoe Bay I have been utilizing their services for 15+ years. I have always found the Folks at Shipping Solutions to be very helpful & Friendly. They always seem to come up with a Solution for my problems.
They received my package at 5:35 amYesterday July 27th and never delivered my package the entire day then when I called they said it was closed due to a holiday what holiday were they talking aboutIf I could I would give them a negative rating.this is discouraging about future business

I used these guys a couple of times for a few things that I needed: FedEx shipping and such. The owners are nice, I guess. I have also been there a few times to get shipping boxes for wine and beer. A lot of the things that they sell are second hand, including the winer shippers. My only problem is the inconsistency with the prices. Sometimes itll be $X and then sometimes its $Y. When asked about this, they dont seem to know or care that their services arent consistent.Im all for Mom and Pap shops, but its as if theyre just making things up as they go along.Do I support the Mom & Pop shop?Given the area, only because I have to.Will I come here again?Given the area, only because I have to.But these kinds of business practices makes me glad there are big box alternatives...at least in bigger cities.
